Prophetic word for today

Shame removed

Word received by: Tina

Two nights ago (Dec 25th), I dreamt of taking a journey to visit a friend. In reality, my friend is black, but, in the dream, she was white. This is somehow significant to the meaning of this dream. I felt shame deep into my being. I felt shame in two specific areas: my name and my finances. My friend lived in a place familiar to me, desolate and poor. We were surrounded by poverty. My friend scorned me at first, then pulled me into her shoulder as I wept deep sobs of release. I woke with the sense of the Lord's profoundly total release in my being.

Our comments

The journey to visit the black friend

As we have shared before, the color "black" can many times be associated with the prophetic anointing operating in the darkness of anonymity. Therefore, the black friend in the dream is a figure of the latter-day prophetic remnant that is currently operating in the darkness of anonymity.

The fact that sister Tina had to travel to visit her friend speaks of how the prophetic-remnant anointing can only be found if we move out from under the covering of the Church's Girgashite structures and methodologies. Just as the people of Israel had to travel out of Jerusalem to see John the Baptist in the desert, so must today's believers be willing to venture out of the religious structures in order to come in contact with the Lord's true prophetic anointing as His Glorious Manifestation inside the Church approaches:

"2As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 3The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 4John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. 5And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins." (Mark 1:2-5)

The reason why sister Tina's friend appeared as white in the dream is a figure of how the Lord will reveal His prophetic anointing to believers "in private". As we said above, "blackness" many times points to "anonymity", meaning that "whiteness" would represent the opposite of "anonymity", i.e.- "revelation":

"1And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him." (Matthew 17:1-3)

[Notice that the Lord revealed Himself to Peter, James, and John in private, and that they had to travel up to a high mountain first, just as sister Tina had to travel to visit her friend. The two people that appeared with Jesus were Moses and Elijah, both of whom were accustomed to the loneliness of "desert" life, just as John the Baptist was (Luke 1:80).]

The desolate and poor place

The fact that sister Tina's friend lived in a "desolate" place is a figure of how the prophetic remnant has been forced by the religious structures to dwell in the loneliness of the desert, as was the case with John the Baptist. As we have said before, the true prophetic anointing turns believers into "wild asses" that simply cannot "fit in" inside the Church's human structures and are therefore forced to be "wild and lonely" (Job 39:5-7).

As we have said before, the word "poor" in Scripture refers to more than a "monetary" condition. It refers to those who are judged as unimportant and irrelevant by the carnal, natural eye. Therefore, the fact that sister Tina's friend lived in a "poor" place is a figure of how the true prophetic anointing is resting on believers who are judged as unimportant by a Church that measures the spiritual authority of a person by the greatness of his or her religious titles.

"14Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. 15Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? 16Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? 17Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest? 18And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. 19The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel." (Isaiah 29:14-19)

"26For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29That no flesh should glory in his presence." (1 Corinthians 1:26-29)

Systematic shame

When one studies the 7 types of evil spirits, as revealed by Deuteronomy 7:1, it becomes evident that the type of spirit that leads to a permanent state of "shame" is the Perizzite spirit. Unfortunately, the Church's Old Covenant structures have led to a Church where believers who are not "full-time ministers" consciously or subconsciously feel that they have no real spiritual authority, and the little authority they are taught to have is geared towards the obtaining of self-centered, temporary blessings. Those who begin to truly walk in their God-given spiritual authority are immediately "slapped" into shame by Jebusite believers whenever that authority begins to threaten either of the following:

  1. The accepted greatness of their Amorite superiors

  2. The validity of their long-standing Girgashite methodologies and traditions

  3. The hierarchical authority and status of Jebusite "officials"

All of this has led to a Church full of spiritually-crippled Perizzite believers who are indoctrinated into thinking that any type of confrontation against the Church's earthly structures is rebellious "sin" against God. The Amorites, Girgashites, and the Jebusites work to maintain a subtle system of "spiritual castes" where certain believers are deemed as inherently superior to others because they hold some sort of ecclesiastic position. They view "authority" as a "right of lordship" over others, instead of seeing it as God sees it: as an opportunity to lift others up so that they may achieve their God-given spiritual potential:

"25But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:25-28)

[The word "minister" in verse 26 was translated from the Greek word diakonos, which literally means "servant", and the word "servant" in verse 27 was translated from the Greek word doulos, which literally means "slave". The words "ministered" and "minister" in verse 28 were translated from diakoneo, which is the verb form of diakonos, and the word "chief" in verse 27 was translated from protos, which literally means "first". Therefore, verses 26 through 28 are better translated as follows:

"But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your servant, and whosoever will be first among you, let him be your slave. Even as the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many"

Even though the word "minister" literally means "servant", I am not too fond of it, because it has been tainted with a sense of grandeur and importance. The word "servant" (or diakonos in Greek), however, has the connotation of lowliness and servitude. The phrase, "he is my minister" doesn't sound the same as "he is my servant", does it? In the first phrase, the important one is the "minister"; in the second phrase, the important one is you.]

"24For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: 25That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another." (1 Corinthians 12:24-25)

[Does this sound like the minister-layman division that is prevalent throughout the Church?]

"For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:" (2 Corinthians 10:8)

"11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:" (Ephesians 4:11-13)

As you may know, the original Greek text of the New Testament does not include punctuation. In verse 12 above, the comma between the words "saints" and "for" was added by the King James translators; in the original Greek text, the first "for" in verse 12 was translated from the word pros (meaning "for the purpose of"), while the second "for" was translated from eis, which means "unto". Therefore, verse 12 should really say, "For the purpose of perfecting the saints unto the work of the ministry". In other words, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers (v11) are not given by God to create an elite class of "hierarchs" that are to "rule" over God's people; they are given by God for the specific purpose of equipping others so that others can be "ministers" as well and may be perfected as they fulfill all of their God-given spiritual potential. The exercise of your and my ministry, fellow believer, is so that you and I may help others to walk in their ministry anointing, until we come in the "unity of the faith" (v13). The true exercise of your ministry will lead to unity, not to separation between "ministers" and "laymen". In fact, there are no "laymen" in the Body of Christ. We are all ministers, at least, if we want to believe the Scriptures (1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 1:6, Isaiah 61:6, Jeremiah 31:31-34, 1 John 2:20-27).

Competing names

In the dream, sister Tina felt "Perizzite" shame over two areas: her name and her finances. As we have said before, Amorites love to have their names "uttered"; they love to have their name in the air and to have that name exert influence over large numbers of people. Therefore, they hate any manifestation of authority which jeopardizes the loftiness of their name. They build up earthly kingdoms with structures which are geared towards the exaltation of their own name and the repression of any other competing name. This is why king Herod tried to kill baby Jesus when he learned that the "king of the Jews" (i.e.- his "competition") had been born:

"1Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born." (Matthew 2:1-4)

[The "chief priests" were Herod's Jebusites, while the "scribes" were his Girgashite teachers]

"Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men." (Matthew 2:16)

[Notice that the wise men (or "Magi") disobeyed the orders of Herod (mentioned in Matthew 2:8). The Holy Spirit calls Herod "king" in Matthew 2:1, meaning that Herod was a legitimate authority figure. Still, the Magi's disobedience of the authority's command was righteous before God. The Magi were willing to believe in the direct revelation that they received from God (Matthew 2:12) concerning Herod's intention against Jesus, a revelation that the "religious hierarchs" of the day obviously never received, since they gladly helped Herod to determine where Jesus had been born (Matthew 2:5-6). The Magi did not say, "How can we believe that God spoke to us. If this was of God, wouldn't He have revealed it to the chief priests and the scribes of the people before revealing it to us?". If they had said such a thing, the Magi would have acted like Perizzites. Perizzites are convinced that God can never talk directly to them, because they see themselves as "poor villagers", as the lowest rung of the "spiritual" hierarchy.]

The Amorite king establishes structures that teach the "common folks" that their name is worthless and insignificant compared to his. In other words, the structures of Amorite kingdoms instill a sense of shame over one's spiritual name. This is the prophetic reason why sister Tina felt shame over her name in the dream. As we said above, the Amorites that are currently inside the Church do not mind so much if a believer uses his or her spiritual name to "claim" a car or a high-paying job, but, woe be unto anyone who dares to apply his or her name over spiritual matters, especially when those matters bring into question the Amorite's name!! In a sense, the Amorites inside the Church promote the following doctrine:

You, "non-ministerial" believer, have the responsibility of financing God's work. You bring the money that supports us financially, and we take care of the "spiritual" part of God's work. After giving us your money and helping us out with menial chores around the church, all that is left for you to do is to come on Sunday and have a jolly good time!! Remember, you were placed on this Earth to support and edify our ministry, not the other way around. Ephesians 4:12 does not apply here.

Poor and ashamed

In the dream, sister Tina also felt shame over her finances. This implies a sense of shame over one's "poverty", which again points to the Perizzite spirit, since, the Perizzite spirit is the "poor-villager" spirit. In a previous article, we saw the strong connection in Scripture between the "poor" and the evangelistic anointing. According to the Lord, the "poor" are endowed with an anointing to possess the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:3). This means that the "poor" (i.e.- the "unimportant" and "irrelevant" people) have a special authority to overthrow Amorite kingdoms in the spiritual atmosphere and to possess the "air" unto God. This is the reason why Amorite spirits are very wary of the "poor". They know that the poor have a special anointing to overthrow them, so they make every effort possible to use the poor's own poverty against them; they emphasize the poverty as a source of shame in an effort to prevent the poor from seeing their conqueror potential in Christ.

True prosperity

Just like sister Tina's friend in the dream, today's prophetic remnant lives in "poverty", i.e.- without the recognition and approval of the Church's religious structures. Yet, that "poverty" is one of the keys that will lead to the conquest of the spiritual atmosphere of the Earth by the remnant --- and by the Church as a whole. It is through those who are seen as irrelevant and unimportant that God will do His mighty work in this last day of the Lord's coming:

"22The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. 23This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. 24This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:22-24)

Just like sister Tina in the dream, believers have been ministered a deep sense of shame over their spiritual "poverty". The key to break this sense of shame can be found by studying the verses that follow Psalm 118:22-24 quoted above:

"25Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. 26Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD." (Psalm 118:25-26)

[The first part of verse 26 is quoted in Matthew 21:9 when the Lord Jesus enters Jerusalem, and is a prophetic sign that Psalm 118:22-26 will have a strong fulfillment during these latter days, when the Lord will make His parousia (i.e.- appearance or "coming") inside the Church, just as He "appeared" in Jerusalem; Jerusalem is a figure of today's Church that is mired in earthly structures and paradigms where the rulers are the "Pharisees and scribes", instead of God.]

Notice that verse 25 says, "save now, send now prosperity". I know that some see this verse as a ticket to earthly wealth, but those who do so should understand that the entire passage is enveloped in a deep prophetic context. For example, when verse 22 speaks of a "stone", there is no preacher who would be stupid enough to think that God is speaking of literal stones used in some construction job somewhere. When verse 24 speaks of a "day", no preacher would be stupid enough to think that God is speaking of a literal day in the calendar. Yet, when the word "prosperity" pops up in verse 25, the covetous eyes of many preachers bulge out in excitement, and, suddenly, the deeply prophetic passage becomes literal. The song "We are in the money" begins to resound in these preachers' heads, and the powerful spiritual meaning of all the verses surrounding verse 25 is lost. A literal interpretation of verse 25 does not fit in with the surrounding verses. I challenge any preacher on the face of the Earth to explain how a literal interpretation of verse 25 would harmoniously complement the verses surrounding it!!!

As we said above, Psalm 118:26 is quoted in Matthew 21:9 when the Lord Jesus enters Jerusalem. The phrase "Save now" in Psalm 118:25 corresponds with the cries of "Hosanna!" made by the multitudes as Jesus entered Jerusalem:

"And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest." (Matthew 21:9)

The word "Hosanna" is derived from the Hebrew words yasha, meaning "to save", and na, meaning "now, please". In other words, "Hosanna" literally means, "Save us now, please"; the multitudes were making the cry of "Save now" in Psalm 118:25. Can we then say that the multitude was making this cry because they saw the donkey-riding Jesus as the solution to all their economic woes. Were they saying within themselves, "send us money, send us cars, send us earthly blessings" as they were shouting "Hosanna!"? You would have to say "yes" if you sincerely think that the phrase "send us prosperity" at the end of Psalm 118:25 speaks of money. As the saying goes, you can't have your cake and eat it too. If you want to turn Psalm 118:25 into a money-making machine, you have to take it out of its context; if you want to keep it within its context, you will have to admit that it is talking about something much more important than Dollars and cents.

The word "prosperity" in Psalm 118:25 was translated from the Hebrew word tsalach, which literally means "to advance, to prosper". This word also appears in the following passage:

"And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them." (1 Samuel 10:10)

Interestingly enough, the word "came" was mistranslated from tsalach. Therefore, 1 Samuel 10:10 should really say, "God prospered upon him, and he prophesied among them". Notice, therefore, that "prosperity" is associated with an abundant manifestation of the "prophetic spirit" (Revelation 19:10) in believers' lives.

The word tsalach also appears in the following verse:

"O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king’s cupbearer." (Nehemiah 1:11)

Here, Nehemiah is praying to God to give him grace in the eyes of Artaxerxes, king of Persia, so that he would grant him permission to go to Jerusalem and restore its fallen walls. Nehemiah was not praying for a brand new car! He was not praying for the refurbishment of his own home! He was praying for God's people. In Nehemiah's Spirit-inspired prayer, "prosperity" was the restoration of God's people, not his own selfish furtherance. When Nehemiah returns to Jerusalem, he not only rebuilds the walls but restores the Law and the fear of God in Jerusalem (Nehemiah 5:15, Nehemiah 1:5). Nehemiah's heart was centered on more than material blessings. Notice also that Nehemiah says the word "prosper" right after saying that he "desires to fear His Name". His all-consuming concern was to see the fear of God's Name prospered and advanced on Earth. That is the prosperity that a true disciple of Jesus really longs for.

The word tsalach also appears in verse 4 of the following passage:

"2Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. 3Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty. 4And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things." (Psalm 45:2-4)

[The phrase "terrible things" was translated from the Hebrew word yare, which literally means "to fear, to revere"]

Notice that "prosperity" is tied here to "truth", "meekness", and "righteousness" (v4), all of which are "right-handed" concepts, and that "prosperity" is tied to an abundance of right-handed teaching that inspires "fear" and "reverence" towards God.

The word tsalach also appears in the following passage:

"10Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities." (Isaiah 53:10-11)

Notice that "prosperity" is mentioned in the context of a person who is willing to suffer so that God's purpose in others may be fulfilled. Such people delight in what God takes delight in. This why "the pleasure of the Lord" prospers in their hands (v10). To the Lord Jesus and to those of you who are willing to share in His afflictions (Colossians 1:24), "prosperity" is equivalent to seeing God's righteous purposes and desires fulfilled on Earth. What makes God smile will make you smile, and what angers Him will anger you. You become a channel of God's emotions on Earth; you become a manifestation of God in the flesh; you become an "Immanuel" (Isaiah 7:14); it is then that you truly express the nature of Jesus Who is inside of you.

The word tsalach also appears in the following verse:

"Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom." (Ezekiel 16:13)

If you read Ezekiel chapter 16 from the beginning, you will notice that the entire chapter figuratively speaks of Jerusalem first as an "abandoned baby" and then as a "beautiful young woman". Therefore, the entire chapter is enveloped in a deep prophetic context, meaning that the "gold", "silver", and "raiment" mentioned in verse 13 are prophetic figures. Notice also that prosperity is tied to the concept of "kingdom", meaning that true prosperity speaks of the expansion of God's kingdom in the spiritual atmosphere.

The word tsalach also appears in the following verse:

"Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel" (Amos 5:6)

The words "break out" were translated from tsalach, meaning that the phrase "lest He break out like fire" can be read as "lest He advance like fire" or "lest He prosper like fire". Therefore, "prosperity" is tied here to the concept of God as "consuming fire", which, according to Hebrews 12:28-29, implies a sense of "reverence" and "fear" of God.

From all of the above, we can conclude that, according to God and His Scripture, the breakout of true tsalach prosperity throughout the Church does not refer to an increase in the per capita number of Porsches among the Christian population. Instead, it means the following:

bullet

An overflow of the prophetic spirit in believers throughout the Church

bullet

The fulfillment of God's eternal purposes in the lives of countless precious souls

bullet

An amazing expansion of the fear of God's Name throughout the Earth

bullet

The expansion of God's kingdom and the tearing down of Amorite strongholds in the spirit realm

All of this prosperity will be manifested in these latter days through the "poor" believers whom the Amorites put to shame. The "shameful" and insignificant believers will be the very ones God will use to seal the Amorites' doom. It is through the latter-day Zerubbabels that God's Glory will come in these latter days:

"6Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. 7Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. 8Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 9The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. 10For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth." (Zechariah 4:6-10)

The Lord's scorn

In sister Tina's dream, her friend scorned her at first. Why? Because, in the dream, sister Tina prophetically represents those who have allowed themselves to become Perizzites because of their unquestioned acceptance of the Amorites' shame. In the dream, sister Tina was enveloped in a shroud of shame that she had willingly allowed the Amorites to place on her. In a prophetic sense, sister Tina represented those who have accepted the name of an Amorite (not God) as a covering over their lives.

When sister Tina presented herself before her friend, she was prophetically presenting herself before God, and she was "wearing" the name of an Amorite over her head at the time. Since our God is a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:24), the name of the Amorite over her head served as an affront to God, and the Lord's reaction was to scorn that name. As the next passage shows, this is God's reaction when He faces Amorite kings:

"1Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure." (Psalm 2:1-5)

Verse 4 speaks of the Lord's "derision" against Amorite kings, and, as you know, "derision" and "scorn" are synonyms. Verse 5 speaks of God's "sore displeasure", which is what sister Tina was receiving as her friend scorned her. Fellow believer, when we yield to Perizzite shame, we do it "voluntarily". We willingly relinquish our spiritual authority. No one (not satan, not the Amorites, not anyone) can forcibly take that authority and prophetic anointing (v2) from us. This is why God has to confront us for willingly taking Amorite names as coverings over our heads.

One with God

When sister Tina was "pulled" into her friend's shoulder, it was a prophetic figure of how God wants to unite us unto Him so that we may be One with Him. The Perizzite feels "unworthy" of direct Oneness with God and sincerely believes that such direct connection belongs only to the "full-time" ministers and the renowned "spiritual figures" of this world. The "deep sobs" that sister Tina cried were a prophetic awareness of how much God loves her and how valuable she is to Him. The "release" that sister Tina was experiencing was a prophetic figure of how God was releasing her from the clutches of Amorite domination and taking her unto Himself. She was being released from the grip of intermediate "angels" and arche principalities, and she was experiencing the true love of God that unites us unto Him:

"37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:37-38)

A shoulder to cover

The fact that sister Tina cried on her friend's shoulder also has prophetic significance:

"But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them was that they should bear upon their shoulders." (Numbers 7:9)

[The "sons of Kohath" were Levitical priests]

"14So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel. 15And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD." (1 Chronicles 15:14-15)

From the passages above, we can see that the "shoulder" in Scripture is a figure of priestly intercession that draws in the Shekinah presence of God (represented by the ark of the Lord). As we said above, sister Tina's friend represents the latter-day prophetic remnant, meaning that those of you who are part of that remnant are willing to bear suffering on your spiritual shoulders in order to see the ark of the Covenant manifested in the lives of others.

The word "shoulders" in both passages above was translated from the Hebrew word katheph, which is derived from another Hebrew word meaning "to clothe". Through prophetic intercession, the remnant is helping to clothe or "cover" those who feel ashamed or "uncovered" because of Perizzite influences in their lives. Fellow believer, if you are willing to bear suffering on your shoulders, you will clothe the shame of many and help them to fulfill the glorious Spirit-potential inside of them.

"Poor" conquerors

Because of the spiritual connection between the "poor" and "evangelism", those who are released from Perizzite oppression become powerful evangelists, and they become channels that spread God's true prosperity on Earth. As we saw above, "true prosperity" means the fulfillment of God's prophetic, eternal purposes in countless others and the spread of the fear of God's Name and His Kingdom on Earth. Evangelists are spiritual conquerors who spread God's kingdom in the spiritual atmosphere. Therefore, it is not surprising that Romans 8:37 (quoted above) speaks of us being "more than conquerors". Believers generally quote this passage in the context of conquering their own personal problems, but, as can be seen from all that we have studied in this word, the true meaning of Romans 8:37 goes beyond the conquering of personal obstacles; it refers to the conquering of spiritual kingdoms unto God.

The phrase "more than conquerors" in Romans 8:37 was translated from the Greek word hypernikao, which is a combination of hyper (meaning "beyond, over") and nikao, meaning "to conquer, to overcome". The word hypernikao only appears once in the New Testament, but the word nikao appears 29 times. The first time it appears is in verse 22 of the following passage:

"21When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: 22But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. 23He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth." (Luke 11:21-23)

Notice that the Lord uses the word nikao in the context of warfare against spiritual strong men (i.e.- the Amorite giants -- Amos 2:9). Another verse where nikao appears is Revelation 6:2, which speaks of the white-horse rider who goes forth "conquering" and "to conquer"; again, nikao is used in the context of warfare. The word nikao also appears 7 times in reference to "conquering the world", which speaks of believers who overtake the earthly system and its structures; nikao also appears in the following verse:

"These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful." (Revelation 17:14)

Therefore, when Romans 8:37 calls us "hyper-conquerors", God is referring to us as spiritual warriors against whom no Amorite giant can prevail when we abide in Christ.

"Charitable" giants

There is a prophetic reason why sister Tina had this dream on December 25th, 2004, i.e.- xmas day 2004. This past xmas, God unleashed His judgment on "Theresa-style" human mercy through the tsunami that killed over 150,000 in south Asia; mother Theresa lived out a "gospel" of providing for the material needs of the "poor" in India without battling in the Spirit to truly change the spiritual atmosphere of India. Despite the universal accolades of man, Theresa's seemingly successful "evangelism" yielded no lasting harvest unto God (ironically, the name "Theresa" is apparently derived from the Greek word therizein that means "to harvest", according to a name-meaning site).

Within the Church, the Amorite "ministers" who have cast themselves as "spiritually superior" constantly portray themselves as "charitable giants" by doling out "spiritual blessings" ("wheat" and "barley") to the "spiritually inferior" people, in much the same way that Amorites like Saddam Hussein would occasionally hand out "gifts" to the "masses" to show them how "kind and generous" he was. In a sense, the Amorites preach the following message:

"You are permanently crippled. You are permanently incapable of moving in the spirit realm as I do. This is why God sent me (the 'minister') to you (the 'layman') -- so that you can leave the spiritual stuff up to me. I will give you the spiritual blessings you need, because I am kind and generous. I am your santa claus, oh little one, and every day at church with me as top dog will be like xmas day for you."

A black & white issue

At the beginning of this word, we shared on the meaning of sister Tina's black friend appearing as white during the dream. However, there is another dimension to this "black and white" issue.

The color "black" speaks of the black horse of "famines" (Revelation 6:5-6) that comes to bring judgment of scarcity against the "3M god" of false, earthly prosperity so that the true prosperity may be manifested in the Church. These judgments are being unleashed by the remnant from the "blackness" of anonymity. This is why Revelation 6:6 says that John "heard a voice" in the midst of the 4 living beings that was declaring judgment against the wheat and the barley. John didn't see who was pronouncing the judgment; he just heard the voice.

The color "white" speaks of the white horse (Revelation 6:1-2) that goes forth conquering and to conquer. As we saw above, the concept of "conquest" and "prosperity" are related in Scripture. In the midst of the earthly "poverty" brought on by the black horse, a spiritually rich nation of white-horse riders will emerge to conquer the world unto God.

Down with the accuser

The word nikao studied above also appears in verse 11 of the following passage:

"7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil, and satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." (Revelation 12:7-11)

The devil is the "accuser of the brethren" (v10), the one who constantly works to put believers to shame. Through his Jebusite cohorts, he works to make believers feel spiritually crippled and ashamed. As we shared in a previous word, there is a spiritual "Michael" (i.e.- the remnant) fighting to "open a hole" in the atmosphere so that believers may have direct and unencumbered access to God. The remnant does this as it operates in the red-horse anointing, confronting the "Cains" inside the Church who are bent on preserving "their way" inside the Church.

The name "Michael" means "Who is like God? ". In other words, it refers to believers who have seen God's greatness and who therefore are unimpressed by any manifestation of human greatness. The spiritual Michaels are completely unimpressed and not intimidated by the human titles or "ministry size" of any Amorite inside the Church. This is why they dare to confront the spiritual "Cains" and are unharmed by satan's shame-loaded accusations.

Elections in Iraq

I am typing this 10 minutes after polls opened in Iraq. Hallelujah!!! On the night of December 21, 2002, I was praying with a prophet from Cuba, and as we prayed, the Lord showed me a vision. In the vision, I saw a two-dimensional, cartoon-like image of men dressed in Persian attire standing in some sort of plaza at night. Suddenly, a hole in the sky was opened, and a three-dimensional light shone through, forming a tube of light that reached the ground. As it did so, the Persian men began to dance for joy around the light.

109 days later, on April 9, 2003, I had the joy of seeing the giant statue of Saddam Hussein (cursed is he) brought down to the ground by coalition troops, and I leaped for joy as I saw the Iraqi people joyously dragging the statue's head around that plaza, hitting the head with their sandals (our God is indeed an awesome God). I also remember seeing images of Iraqi people dancing in the streets as coalition forces took control of Iraq away from Saddam Hussein. All of this reminded me of the vision, and I rejoiced as I saw the fulfillment of God's judgments against Saddam Hussein. In a prayer diary I kept, the Lord had prompted me to record judgment prayers against Saddam Hussein beginning on September 9, 2002. After exactly 7 months of prayer, God brought the tyrant down, and a nation of crippled people finally had the opportunity to stand up and take control of their own lives. Saddam Hussein would literally cripple, torture, and even kill any Iraqi who dared to speak up and question his tyranny, but on April 9, 2003 (hallelujah!) his scepter was taken away from him, and a two-dimensional nation finally had access to God's three-dimensional light. I still rejoice at how pathetic and shameful Saddam Hussein looked as he was dragged out of his puny little spider hole by an Iraqi named Samir!!! According to comments by Mr. Samir (during an interview on the Fox News Channel that was being aired shortly after I had typed the previous sentence), Saddam behaved like a "coward", crying, "Please don't shoot me! Please don't shoot me!" How pathetic!!! Who's the "lame" one now?

A close study of Acts chapter 28 and certain passages in Proverbs reveals that the Perizzite spirit, when strong, produces people with "simplistic" thinking. This explains why the Persians (i.e.- Iraqis) in the vision were shown as 2-dimensional cartoons. Perizzites become simplified cartoons drawn according to the whims and tastes of their Amorite "creator". When God punctured a hole in the sky, it was a figure of how He would open up direct communication between the Iraqi people and Himself, which would turn them from 2-dimensional (body and soul) creatures into 3-dimensional beings (body, soul, and spirit). When I had this vision, I understood that it applied to the Arab world in general. It was only until Saddam's fall that I realized its direct application to Iraq itself. God has plans for the Arab people, and I shall see the day when God's Glory will flow through the Arab nations like a mighty river. My eyes long to see those days!!! The Perizzite and Hittite spirits that are pervasive throughout the Arab world shall be destroyed. Cursed be anyone who stands in the way of the Lord!!!

The elections in Iraq began on January 30, 2005, 7:00 AM Iraq time, which, means that they began on January 29, 2005, 11:00 PM (U.S. Eastern Standard Time). Between December 21, 2002 (the date of the "Persian" vision) and January 29, 2004, exactly 770 days (110 weeks) went by. As we have said before, the number "11" is a figure of purifying judgments (which points to the apostolic ministry), while the number "10" refers to the final stretch of sacrifice that we must be willing to suffer in Christ to receive the "crown of life" (which points to the prophetic ministry). Meanwhile, the number "7" in Scripture represents "perfection" or "completion", since the Lord completed His work in 7 days in chapters 1 and 2 of Genesis. Therefore, the fact that 770 equals 11 times 10 times 7 means that, through apostolic judgments and prophetic sacrifice, the road is being paved so that those under Perizzite oppression may be perfected (Ephesians 4:12) and may become all that God has called them to be.

There is a powerful reason why the prophet with whom I was praying that Saturday night was Cuban. After 45 years of Amorite oppression on the part of fidel castro, Cuba is also a nation full of "simplified", Perizzite people. As we shared with you in a previous word, we rejoiced (Revelation 19:1-4) when we saw that evil tyrant (cursed is he) shamefully fall to the ground on October 20, 2004 and suffer 8 bone fractures in his left knee and a hairline fracture in his right arm. Just as he has put many Cubans to shame, so did God internationally humiliate him on that day. The video of his pathetic fall was aired around the world!!! Hallelujah!!!

It is no coincidence that God prompted us to post the interpretation of sister Tina's dream on the day when Iraq would hold its first free, democratic elections in its 5,000-year history -- and, believe you me, this was totally unplanned (at least on our part, but not on God's part). Iraq is a vivid example of how God will liberate His Church from Perizzite oppression in these latter days. The "shamer" will be put to shame, and the "shamees" shall rise to fulfill all their God-given potential. The nations will marvel at what the Lord will have done.

"20For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off: 21That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought. 22Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale. 23But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel. 24They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine." (Isaiah 29:20-24)

"For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed." (Romans 10:11)
