Prophetic word for today

Flight 358

On Tuesday, August 2, 2005, Air France flight 358 from Paris crashed after landing in Toronto's Pearson Airport. The plane, an Airbus A-340, skidded some 200 meters (600+ feet) off the runway and into a ravine. The plane then burst into flames. It was carrying 309 people (297 passengers and 12 crew). According to reports, 3/4 of the people safely evacuated the plane within 1 minute of the crash, and all the people had safely exited the plane within 2 minutes of the crash. Shortly thereafter, the entire plane was completely engulfed in flames. Many consider it a miracle that no one was seriously injured. Only some 24 people suffered minor injuries. Air France reported that 101 French citizens and 104 Canadians were aboard the plane; there were also people from Britain, Italy, India, and the United States.

There was a vicious thunderstorm in the area at the time of the crash. Some passengers said that they believed that the airplane had been hit by lightning during the landing. The runway was wet with the rain that had fallen throughout the day. The airplane had tried to land once, but conditions forced it to abort the landing, and it lifted itself up into the air again. It was during the second landing attempt that the crash took place.

According to an August 5 report by investigators, the plane landed too far down the runway, which may have contributed to the crash. An August 6 report indicates that 4 out of the 8 emergency exit doors did not work. This only adds to the miraculous nature of the passengers' and crew's safe escape.

This accident is considered the most dramatic crash ever for an Airbus A-340 model plane, which has a very safe flying history. This plane is highly automated, and is capable of "landing by itself" when visibility is very low.

Air France is France's main airline company. In the last year, Air France bought the Dutch carrier KLM, Holland's main airline company.

The plane's scheduled landing time was 16:03, Toronto local time. The plane's flames lasted for around 2 hours after the crash.

"Coincidentally", exactly 20 years earlier (August 2, 1985), Delta Air Lines Flight 191 (a Lockheed TriStar model) crashed as it tried to land in Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in the U.S. In that crash, 136 of the 167 people aboard died. In the cockpit recorder, one of the copilots was recorded as saying that he saw lightning as they were approaching 1500 feet. That was the first sign of trouble. After reaching 800 feet, something very odd began to happen. The last words recorded in the cockpit were expletives. The aircraft landed on an empty field, bounced up "intact", and came down on Highway 114, a very busy 6-lane highway to the side of the airport. It then crashed into a pair of 4-million-gallon water tanks. Most of the survivors were in the tail section, which broke away from the rest of the plane before it hit the water tanks.

20 days after the Flight 191 disaster, on August 22, 1985, a British Airtours Boeing 737-200 had a horrific crash as it tried to take off from Manchester International Airport (in the U.K.) on its way to a Greek island. Parts of the engine casing ruptured the fuel tank next to the engine, and flames erupted. The plane veered off the runway, but the wind blew the flames onto the plane. Some of the exit doors could not be opened because of the flames. At the end, 55 of the 131 passengers on board died.

On August 7, 2005, 5 days after Flight 358's crash in Toronto, Canadian-born ABC News anchorman Peter Jennings died of lung cancer at the age of 67. In an interview aired on NBC's Today show, Barbara Walters, a co-worker of Jennings for many years, described him as "indefatigable", studious, detail oriented, hard working, and a "perfectionist".

Peter Jennings was a well-traveled correspondent who reported from many places around the world. According to Barbara Walters, he always emphasized the importance of covering world news, not just news in the U.S. His first work abroad was as a correspondent to Rome. His last broadcast appearance was on April 5, 2005 (124 days before his death), 3 days after the death of the pope. In his last broadcast, he announced that he would "temporarily" step down from his job at ABC to undergo treatment for his cancer. He never returned.

This is the prophetic interpretation of these events:

The ravine

As we have said before, France is a country dominated by the Girgashite spirit. As we have also said before, Scripture compares Girgashites to pigs running violently down an incline and into the sea:

"31So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine. 32And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters." (Matthew 8:31-32)

[According to Matthew 8:28, the Lord was in the land of the "Gergesenes", which is another way of saying "Girgashites"]

As you all know, the sea is a "hole" filled with water. There is a river that runs near Toronto's Pearson Airport, and the ravine into which the plane crashed is part of the geographical landscape surrounding that river. Therefore, the plane's violent skid into the ravine is a prophetic figure of how France's Girgashite spirit has turned France into a nation of Girgashite people who have forsaken the pursuit of the above (Colossians 3:1-4) and are running violently towards a hole in which they will drown as they pursue a life focused on the earthly things below.

Cursed methods

As we have said before, Girgashites become overly reliant on human methodologies. They become mechanical followers of pre-devised methodologies that eliminate and suppress individual thinking. Obviously, methods are not wrong in and of themselves, but they are wrong when blind faith is placed upon them. We are called to be prophetic people who move according to the leading of the Spirit. We must be like sailboats that are sensitive to the winds of the Holy Spirit and move accordingly (John 3:8). We must maintain a direct reliance on God, not on methods that are detached from Him.

Girgashites also rely a great deal on "experience" and "seniority". Because of their obsession with time and their incessant tendency to look to the past (without ever looking forward), Girgashites sincerely believe that something is "truer" if it has been around "longer". To Girgashites, someone is more reliable if he or she has more experience or a higher rank. To them, something is more believable if it has a quantitatively greater load of supporting evidence in the past. This turns Girgashites into overly mechanical, pragmatic, and empirical individuals.

The model of the plane that crashed, the Airbus A340-300, is a highly automated plane with a good safety record, and it is even capable of landing itself in low visibility. The plane had made a failed attempt at landing prior to crashing. During the second attempt, the pilot decided to defy the difficult conditions, and he placed his faith on the plane's good safety record and on the plane's automated instruments. In short, he placed all of his faith on the plane; he placed all of his trust on the "vessel" (i.e.- methods). This is why God literally destroyed the "vessel" (Jeremiah 17:5).

Thunder and lightning

Many passengers believed that they saw the airplane get hit by lightning as it was descending. Even though subsequent reports say that they have found no evidence of this, there is a spiritual reason why many believed that lightning was the cause of the crash. In Scripture, thunder and lightning are associated with God's Kingship and the Kingship of God's people in Him:

"7The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. 8He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them. 9He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. 10The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed." (1 Samuel 2:7-10)

"17Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king. 18So Samuel called unto the LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel." (1 Samuel 12:17-18)

[Notice how the Lord "thundered" to express His displeasure when the people of Israel rejected His Kingship, preferring a human king instead. Notice also how the thunder and lightning came as Samuel called unto the Lord, which means that Samuel was the channel of God's Kingship over Israel. Even though Samuel was not a human king, he was a spiritual king who operated in the Kingship of God because he was a faithful believer. According to Revelation 1:6, we are all kings and priests, and we are all called to manifest the kingly authority that Samuel manifested that day. We are not called to be kings over each other; instead, we are called to be kings over the spiritual atmosphere of the Earth. We are to be kings that conquer all unrighteousness and iniquity on Earth. When the people of Israel manifested wickedness, the Lord's thunder through Samuel came to confront that wickedness. In other words, Samuel had until then been a "spiritual king" over his brethren's unrighteousness, not over the brethren themselves. False kings bring others under their own personal dominion. True kings bring others under the dominion of God, so that God may be all in all (1 Corinthians 15:27-28).]

A king is a person whose name is "broadcast" across the "airwaves" of a territory, and whose name instills fear throughout that territory. When the Lord "thunders", His Name is being broadcast in the spiritual atmosphere, and fear is instilled in those who hear His Name:

"26When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder: 27Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out. 28And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding." (Job 28:26-28)

When the Lord "thunders", He is declaring His Kingship, and He is challenging the Amorite kings who stand against Him:

"And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt." (Exodus 9:23)

[Notice how the Lord sent "thunder" at the prompting of Moses, just like with Samuel in 1 Samuel 12:17-18 above. God manifests His Kingship on Earth through yielded vessels. He does not manifest His Kingship independently of us, because He has given the Earth to the "sons of men" (Psalm 115:16).]

"29And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto the LORD; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is the LORD’S. 30But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will not yet fear the LORD God." (Exodus 9:29-30)

[Notice how the thunder-and-hail plague was designed to show that God is the owner (i.e.- King) of the Earth (v29)]

Notice how the Lord sent thunder and hail to challenge Pharaoh's kingship. Notice also how Pharaoh, in his hardness of heart, was unwilling to fear the King of Kings despite the thunder and hail (v30). Amorites become so proud and so enamored with their puny little kingships that they have a hard time recognizing God's Sovereign Kingship. This is why they must always be brought down by force:

"9Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? 10Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty. 11Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him. 12Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place. 13Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret. 14Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee." (Job 40:9-14)

"17And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18And he said unto them, I beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven." (Luke 10:17-18)

[The word "devil" was translated from the Greek word daimonion, which means "demon", "an inferior deity", or "demigod". Therefore, "demons" refer to Amorite spirits that try to establish themselves as "gods" over the Earth.]

Notice how the demons were dethroned through the Lord's Name (v17). The broadcasting of God's Name leads to the expansion of God's dominion in the heavenlies. This is what it means to "thunder" in the Spirit. Thunder instills fear, meaning that God's Name is not truly being broadcast if the fear of God is not being instilled in others. As God's Name is "thundered" in the heavenlies, people become aware of His awesome and fearsome Nature. There might be Amorites who refuse to fear, but their stubbornness will only accelerate their inevitable fall. This is why the Lord saw satan "fall as lightning" from the spiritual atmosphere (v18).

Therefore, when the passengers in Flight 358 perceived that the plane had been struck by lightning, they were spiritually perceiving God's thunderous attack against the Amorite spirit of pride in France. As we have said before, France is also gripped by a strong influence of Amorite pride. When the Air France flight was brought down, it was a prophetic figure of God's judgments against the spirit of Amorite pride in France. This is the reason why the plane's accident happened in the midst of vicious thunder and lightning.

16:03

The plane's scheduled landing time was 16:03, Toronto time. As I meditated on that time, the Lord impressed "Isaiah 16:3" in my heart:

"2For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon. 3Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth." (Isaiah 16:2-3)

The reference to the "wandering bird cast out of the nest" (v2) speaks of how all the passengers and crew were forced to hurriedly flee from the plane. Girgashites place all their eggs in the nest of temporal human "vessels" (i.e.-methods). Therefore, when the passengers were escaping out of the plane, they were like Girgashites who were being forced to renounce to all the "eggs" they had placed in the basket of human methods.

The reference to providing a "shadow" to "hide the outcasts" (v3) speaks of how Canada was called to harbor and give protection to the passengers who were escaping from the plane. Most of the passengers and crew were "outcasts" in a foreign land who had lost their earthly belongings and were at the mercy of the Canadian people. As we have said before, Girgashites place a great deal of faith in familiar, well-established, and long-standing human structures and coverings. In this case, however, the Air France passengers were forced to depend on the protection of strangers in the middle of very unfamiliar circumstances.

Notice what the Lord says a few verses after Isaiah 16:3:

"6We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so. 7Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the foundations of Kirhareseth shall ye mourn; surely they are stricken." (Isaiah 16:6-7)

Notice the reference to Moab's pride (v6), which correlates with the influence of Amorite pride in France. In verse 7, the Lord speaks of the foundations of Kirhareseth. The word Kirhareseth literally means "wall of potsherds". The "wall" speaks of a fortress or stronghold, which points to the Amorite spirit, since Amorites are "strong men" that establish strongholds of iniquity in the spiritual atmosphere. The "potsherds" speaks of "clay pottery", which in turn points to the Girgashite spirit, since the word "Girgashite" means "clay dweller". Therefore, the "foundations of Kirhareseth" point to the Girgashite foundations of Amorite strongholds. As we have said before, all Amorite kings require a Girgashite "ground-swell of support". Once that supporting pedestal is hammered, the Amorite's fall is just a matter of time. Through the plane crash, therefore, God is prophetically declaring that He is striking down the Girgashite foundations of the Amorite stronghold in Europe, especially in France. God will do great things in France and in Europe, and He announced it prophetically through the crash of Flight 358.

The hour 16:03 is 963 (=16 x 60 + 3) minutes into the day, and the number 963 equals 107 times 9. As I meditated on this, the Lord brought the verse "Psalm 107:9" to my heart:

"9For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. 10Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron; 11Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High: 12Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help. 13Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses. 14He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder. 15Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! 16For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder. 17Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. 18Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death. 19Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. 20He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." (Psalm 107:9-20)

Verse 9 begins with the statement that God "satisfies the longing soul". Why? Because, as we have said before, Girgashites feel complete in their visible temporality. This means that their souls never long after a higher, invisible calling. Girgashites are emotionally dry individuals who are reluctant to expose themselves to emotional suffering for the sake of others or a higher cause. Girgashites feel a very limited need for "spiritual" things, which means that they don't feel a need for God and His Mighty calling in their lives.

When God crashed Flight 358, He forced all the Girgashites inside to forget their temporal belongings and to long for freedom and life. He forced them to think about the briefness of temporal life, and He forced them to wonder if there was something beyond this ephemeral existence. He created a longing in their soul, and when God sees a soul that finally becomes aware of how unsatisfactory temporal life is, He is more than willing to satisfy that longing and manifest Himself in that life.

Notice how verse 10 above speaks of people who were sitting in darkness and in the shadow of death. This points to the moment when the passengers were in their seats shortly after the plane had crashed into the ravine. They could see the fire and smoke, and they knew that they were in the shadow of death at that moment. As Girgashites, they had rebelled against the words of God (v11), but a deep cry went from within them unto the Lord (v13), and He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death (v14).

As the passengers were running for their lives, their souls "abhorred all manner of meat" (v18). They were no longer interested in earthly belongings and what they would eat after they got off the plane. Many passengers were left with nothing but the clothes on their backs, but, at that point, life became more important than temporal things. The Lord sent His word and He healed them, and He delivered them from their destruction (v20).

Everyone who witnessed the crash considers it a miracle that no one was killed in this tremendous accident. Girgashites live in the natural and temporary realm; they live in the world of "logic" and "common sense". On this day, however, the Girgashites aboard Flight 358 lived through a completely "illogical" and "unnatural" experience. Just like Jonah, they were supernaturally delivered out of the big fish's belly (i.e.- the plane's belly), and, just like Jonah, they were given a second chance to fulfill their prophetic calling.

358

As I meditated on the number "358" in "Flight 358", the Lord impressed "Isaiah 35:8" in my heart:

"8And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. 9No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: 10And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away." (Isaiah 35:8-10)

Notice how verse 8 declares that even the wayfaring fools will not "err" or go astray from the "highway of holiness". This points to the fact that all passengers survived despite the fact that the plane landed too far down the runway. Despite all the human and mechanical follies, everyone was able to reach land safely. In the same way, God is prophesying that, despite the Girgashite and Amorite follies of the French, God will restore the French in these latter days. Just as He did with all the passengers in Flight 358, He will save France's prophetic calling, and the prophetic seed sown there many centuries ago will finally germinate and yield great spiritual fruit. The "ransomed of the Lord shall return", and they will come back to Zion with "songs and everlasting joy upon their heads" (v10). Just like the passengers of Flight 358, Frenchmen will in the latter days rejoice in the prophetic life God will pour upon them.

The number 358 is also a prophetic warning against the Girgashite spirit in France. The number 358 equals 179 times 2. The number "179" points to Isaiah 17:9:

"9In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation. 10Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips: 11In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow." (Isaiah 17:9-11)

[The word "bough" in verse 9 is a mistranslation of the Hebrew word choresh, which literally means "wood, forest, wooded area"]

Girgashites rely on their methods ("vessels"), and Amorites rely on their strength. When these two spirits come together, as is the case in France, it produces people who rely on the strength and ingenuity of their large vessels. This is the reason why God shall turn their strong cities into a "forsaken forest" (v9), and this is the reason why God came against the Airbus A-340 and destroyed it completely. France has forgotten the God of her salvation and has not been mindful of the rock of her strength (v10), because she has inebriated herself in the pride of her own intellectual strength. Her Amorite-Girgashite harvest shall be "a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow" (v11). This is the reason why God burned the Airbus A-340 into a heap of useless junk.

309

There were 309 persons inside the plane at the time of the crash. The number "309" equals 103 times 3, which points to Psalm 103:3:

"3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s" (Psalm 103:3-5)

The Flight 358 crash is a prophetic sign of redemption and forgiveness for France. God will forgive her of her iniquities (v3), and, just as He did with the flight's passengers, He will redeem France's life from destruction (v4). He will snatch away France's crown of intellectual pride, but He will replace it with a crown of mercy (v4).

He will renew France's youth like the eagle's (v5). As we have said before, the "eagle" is a figure of the prophetic anointing. As we have also said before, the Girgashite spirit is the spiritual antithesis of the prophetic anointing. Therefore, God is declaring that He will free France from the earthbound shackles of Girgashite thinking so that she will finally be free to fly in the freedom of her prophetic calling. France will go from the stagnation of Girgashite oldness to the youthfulness of prophetic freedom.

297

There were 297 passengers in Flight 358. The number "297" equals 27 times 11. As we have said before, the number "28" speaks of perfection or completion. As we have also said before, the Girgashite spirit is a distorted form of God's Spirit of Perfection, and the number "11" is a figure of purifying judgments. Therefore, the number 297 (27 times 11) is a spiritual indictment against Girgashite imperfection. Girgashites believe that they can be "complete" or "perfect" through the accumulation of external achievements and the execution of multiple external activities. They sincerely believe that a human being can be "complete" (i.e.- "28") within the context of the natural, visible realm. However, they discard 1 important "factor": the One Invisible God in whose image and likeness man was created. Therefore, Girgashites can never reach "28" (i.e.- perfection); at best they can reach "27" (28 - 1). Since God judges on the basis of our potential, Girgashites are judged ("11") in terms of the spirit potential in them, even when they have deliberately decided to ignore that potential. This is the reason why there were 297 (27 times 11) passengers on the plane.

Five days before Flight 358's crash in Toronto (July 28, 2005), we received an e-mail from a fellow believer in Toronto who wrote to us regarding the "sheep jump" word we had recently posted. For some reason, when I heard of the Flight 358 crash, I immediately sensed that this e-mail had been a prophetic sign from God confirming the spiritual significance of what would happen in Toronto 5 days later. The number 297 can also be interpreted as 3 times 99. As I meditated on the number "99" and the "sheep" e-mail, the Lord spoke the following words to my heart:

I shall go after France with the same zeal as a shepherd who leaves his 99 sheep to go after his one lost sheep that went astray. Even though you are stubborn and you have been hiding from Me, I will find you. I will put you together and restore you. In the latter days, you shall see this come to pass.

DUMB BULL

As I meditated on the reason why the Air France plane had crashed in Toronto, the Lord spoke to my heart and said, "Add a 'to' in the middle of Toronto". As you may have noticed, the name "TORONTO" has a "TO" at the beginning and a "TO" at the end. If you add a 3rd "TO" in the middle, you get "TOROTONTO". In Spanish, the phrase "TORO TONTO" means "DUMB BULL" ("dumb" in the sense of "non-smart").

As we have said so far, France is gripped by the Girgashite and the Amorite spirits. Girgashites (who are generally teachers gone awry) are mind-oriented individuals who focus on what is visible with the eyes of their natural mind. Therefore, the word "dumb" in "dumb bull" is an indictment against Girgashite "mental smartness", and the word "bull" is an indictment against Amorite strength (Amos 2:9). In the eyes of the Lord, France has behaved like a "dumb bull", like a "Tyrian wild boar" racing towards spiritual self-annihilation. Like the strong and massive Airbus A-340 that was furiously skidding down the Toronto runway, France has been charging like a "dumb bull" towards a Hittite hole of spiritual purposelessness.

Just as He did with king Nebuchadnezzar, God will force proud and stubborn France to come to her senses:

"24This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king: 25That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. 26And whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule. 27Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity. 28All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar." (Daniel 4:24-28)

[Notice how the interpretation of the dream ends in verse 27 and how God's judgment ("11") falls upon Nebuchadnezzar in the next verse. All of this correlates with what we said above regarding the number 297.]

Just as He did with Nebuchadnezzar, God's "watcher" (Daniel 4:13), i.e.- His prophetic remnant, has declared judgment word against France's Amorite-Girgashite spirit. These judgments, which are already at work, are preparing the groundwork for France's wonderful spiritual restoration down the road. Just as He did with Nebuchadnezzar, God will restore France, and she shall behold the glory of the Lord:

"34And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: 35And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? 36At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. 37Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase." (Daniel 4:34-37)

As we have said before, Girgashites are always looking down towards the earth. Therefore, when Nebuchadnezzar came to his senses, he "lifted up His eyes unto Heaven" (v34) and became aware of the "things above" (Colossians 3:1-5). Amorites always want to establish their own dominion. Therefore, when Nebuchadnezzar was restored, He immediately recognized the Dominion and Kingship of God (v34). Girgashites are "clay dwellers", which means that they are "inhabitants of earthliness". This is the reason why Nebuchadnezzar admitted that "the inhabitants of the earth" are "reputed as nothing" (v35). Girgashites are prone to carry out their own will based on human factors and reasoning; therefore, Nebuchadnezzar admitted that God's will is sovereign (v35).

As Nebuchadnezzar repented of his "Amoriteness" and "Girgashiteness", God restored him to his kingdom (v36). Notice that Nebuchadnezzar praises God for His judgments (v37), because he realized that those judgments had made him come to his spiritual senses and recognize the truth. It is not through "feel-good", "please-receive-Jesus" evangelism that France will be restored. It will be through judgments released into the air by a faithful prophetic remnant that realizes that short-term suffering will lead to true, long-term transformation (2 Corinthians 7:8-11).

Flight 191

As we said at the beginning, Flight 358's crash came 20 years to the day after the crash of Delta Air Lines Flight 191 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area on August 2, 1985. According to the cockpit recordings, one of the copilots said that he saw unexpected lightning coming from a cloud. Another aircraft had landed on the same runway a few minutes earlier, and that aircraft did not report any weather abnormality.

In Flight 191, 136 of the 167 people aboard died. The number 136 equals 17 times 8. As we have said before, the number "17" represents the manifestation of God's prophetic remnant in these latter days, and the number "8" in Scripture speaks of "regeneration". Therefore, the number 136 (17 times 8) speaks of the manifestation of the prophetic remnant and the latter-rain revival through spiritual regeneration. As we have said before, the Church needs "regeneration", not "repair". The Church's current structures must be destroyed in order to "start over". The Lord has declared that the coming of the Son of man shall be as in the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37). In the days of Noah, God wiped out the human race and started all over through Noah. God is doing the same once again. He will spiritually wipe out all the matriarchal structures that have prevented the manifestation of His Glory through the sons of men, and He will raise up a remnant Church in the fullness of His apostolic, prophetic, and evangelistic anointings.

Therefore, when 136 people died in the Flight 191 crash of 1985, it meant that the prophetic remnant's manifestation through regeneration was squashed (temporarily). As we have said before, the 1980s saw the rise of the "2nd prophetic movement" since the rebirth of Israel. This movement, however, tried to have the prophetic anointing work with the Girgashite structures already in place within the Church. Since the prophetic anointing is the spiritual antithesis of the Girgashite spirit, this prophetic movement was doomed to fail from liftoff, just like the space shuttle Challenger in 1986. Instead of working to destroy the anti-prophetic Girgashite structures in the Church, the prophetic movement of the 1980s tried to "tweak" those structures. That movement did not believe in regeneration (i.e.- destruction and rebuilding), which is the reason why it failed.

Of the 167 people aboard in Flight 191, only 31 survived. As we have said before, the number "31", when used in a negative sense in Scripture, refers to the Amorite spirits of pride and self-exaltation, which means that the Amorite spirits in the Church were able to survive the prophetic movement of the 1980s. As we have said before, Amorites need a Girgashite structure of support in order for their earthly kingdoms to stand. Since the prophetic movement of the 1980s had no intention to attack the Girgashite spirit head on, the Amorites were completely safe from any meaningful harm.

Flight 191 took off from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and was intended to make a stop at Dallas-Fort Worth on its way to Los Angeles. As we have studied before, Florida is a state full of workaholic Girgashite people who have gone down to Florida to enjoy their Hivite retirement. Therefore, the fact that Flight 191 took off from Florida once again refers to a prophetic movement that used Girgashite structures as its "launching pad" instead of fighting against those structures. Its destination, "Los Angeles", points to the following passage:

"47Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! 48Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. 49Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. 50Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. 51And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man." (John 1:47-51)

The prophetic movement of the 1980s intended to take the Church to a "Hivite heaven" where the Church would enjoy "angelic" impartations of material blessings from heaven. As many of you may recall, the focus on "material prosperity" became strong in the 1980s, and one of the ministries that was essential in promoting this "gospel" is "coincidentally" based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where Flight 191 crashed (that ministry took off in a mighty way during the 1980s, and many of the ministries it spawned are strong, even to this day).

What the "material prosperity" movement of the 1980s did not realize, however, was the fact that the "angelic" impartation of John 1:51 is possible only as the spiritual "Nathanaels" get out from under the fig tree (John 1:50). As we have studied before, the "fig tree" in the passage above speaks of human, Girgashite coverings from which we must come out before we can recognize "the son of God" inside the "son of Man" (John 1:49). Just like Nathanael, only those who come out from under the fig tree will see the God-potential in every single believer. Those of you who see that potential will be the ones used by God to shake the nations of the Earth and to transform the Church for His Glory and Honor. Therefore, it is impossible to reach the spiritual "Los Angeles" of John 1:51 without rejecting and separating yourself from the Girgashite structures of "Fort Lauderdale, Florida". This is what the prophetic movement of the 1980s failed to understand.

In a negative sense, the name "Fort Worth" speaks of two spirits. The word "Fort" speaks of a "fortress" or "stronghold", which in turn speaks of the Amorite spirit, since Amorites are "strong men" that establish kingdom strongholds in the spiritual atmosphere. When taken in a natural sense, the word "worth" speaks of "monetary value", which speaks of the Girgashite spirit that focuses on earthly things. Therefore, the place where Flight 191 crashed ("Fort Worth") speaks of the Amorite-Girgashite stranglehold in the Church.

Flight 191 crashed into two huge "water tanks", which speaks of "stagnant water". As we have said before, the Girgashite spirit is an emotionally dry spirit that fights against the free flow of prophetic waters. Therefore, the Girgashite spirit promotes an atmosphere of anti-prophetic, emotional stagnation. God crashed Flight 191 into the tanks of "stagnant water" as a figure of how the prophetic movement of the 1980s tried to "flow in the prophetic" in the midst of Girgashite stagnation. Obviously, when the plane hit the tanks, the "stagnant" waters in the tank became "flowing" waters. This is what God intends for prophetic believers to do. They must be willing to clash against Girgashite stagnation, even at the risk of "losing their lives". Since the prophetic movement of the 1980s was unwilling to surrender its temporal life, that temporal life was forcibly taken away from it, just as it happened with the passengers of Flight 191.

Notice how the two spirits that dominate France (the Amorite and the Girgashite spirits) are represented throughout the Flight 191 crash. It's no wonder, therefore, that this crash happened 20 years to the day before the Air France Flight 358 crash.

The people who did survive the Flight 191 crash were those in the tail section of the plane. This section broke away from the plane before the plane hit the water tanks. This once again speaks of "separation". Those who "separated" themselves from the plane's "Girgashite" structures were able to survive the tragedy. In the same way, those who are willing to break away from the Girgashite structures of the Church will have their prophetic calling preserved and developed.

As we have shared before, the red horse of the Apocalypse is the horse of "internal war and conflict" that causes "separation". This means that the prophetic movement of the 1980s was trying to bring the latter-rain revival without the "conflictive" red horse that comes against the Cain-style Girgashite structures in the Church. It is not surprising, therefore, that 1985 was a particularly "bloody" year in the airline industry; there were 6 major accidents that cost the lives of over 1300 people ("6" is the number of human weakness or earthliness). Since the Church was trying to avoid the "bloody" red horse during the 1980s, the Lord made 1985 (the year when the prophetic movement of the 1980s died) a particularly "bloody" year for commercial flights. As we have said before, the prophetic anointing is spiritually related to "flying", since it speaks of freedom from earthly limitations. The Church wanted a "bloodless" prophetic flight, but God was not about to grant them their iniquitous wish. He therefore imposed the "bloody" red horse upon commercial flights in 1985. Fellow believer, the things that happen in the spirit realm have consequences and manifestations in the natural realm. Let him who is able to accept this truth accept it.

Exactly 20 days after the Flight 191 disaster, on August 22, 1985, a British Airtours Boeing 737 taking off from Manchester International Airport (in the U.K.) burst into flames after takeoff. The prevailing wind blew the flames onto the aircraft, which made the problem worse. Some of the exit doors failed to open, which turned the plane into a "grave" for 55 out of the 131 passengers on board. In the same way, the Girgashite religious structures of the Church become the believer's spiritual grave when he or she is unwilling to come out from under them.

As we have shared before, the Lord intends for the latter-rain revival to start in the United States and to spread across the Atlantic Ocean into Britain, and, from there, into the rest of Europe. Therefore, the British Airtours accident that happened 20 days after the Flight 191 disaster in the United States is a prophetic figure of how the revival in Britain and the rest of Europe was aborted once it was botched up in the United States. The British Airtours flight was headed towards a Greek island, which is a prophetic figure of how the revival that was to hit Britain was intended to spread from there into the European continent.

While the British Airtours disaster occurred 20 days after the Flight 191 disaster, the Air France Flight 358 disaster occurred 20 years after Flight 191. As we have shared before, while Britain will be the first European country impacted by the latter-rain revival, France and Spain will be the last European countries fully impacted by the revival. Therefore, it is not surprising that the chain reaction of the Flight 191 disaster in America took 20 days to hit a British plane and 20 years to hit a French plane.

In Scripture, the number "20" is the number of "young warriors", since 20 was the age when the Israelites were old enough to fight (Numbers 1:3). Therefore, God is declaring that He is setting Himself at war against the Amorite-Girgashite strangleholds of Cain in the Church and in the world. He is sending the "peace-removing" (i.e.- war-causing) red horse (Revelation 6:4) against the Amoritely proud and Girgashitely structured Cain spirit. No one can resist a determined God. If God has determined to obliterate the Cain spirit, it shall be done, no matter who dares to get in His way.

Judgment on the Canaanites

While most of the passengers (205 of them) aboard Flight 358 were either French or Canadian, there were also passengers from Britain, Italy, India, and the United States. This is not a coincidence. As we have shared before, the first European country after Britain that will be fully impacted by the latter-rain revival will be Italy. Since the death of the Vatican king, the groundwork has been laid for a mighty revival in Italy in the years to come. The fact that there were people from India is also a good sign. As we have shared before, India is a country swarmed by the Canaanite-Amorite frog spirit. The Lord will continue pounding India with painful purifying judgments until the frog spirit there is destroyed. After that, a wonderful restoration will ensue.

In the last year, Air France acquired Holland's main airline company, KLM. This is no coincidence. On May 29 and June 1, 2005, the French and the Dutch voted against the European Union (EU) constitution. As we shared in a previous word, the French "no" vote was a figure of the oncoming defeat of the Girgashite spirit in Europe, while the Dutch "no" vote was a figure of the oncoming defeat of the Canaanite spirit in Europe. When Flight 358 crashed, not only was Air France affected, KLM was also affected. This means that, in the middle of all of this, there is also a hidden strike against the Canaanite spirit in Europe and the world. This explains why Canaanite India was implicitly involved in this crash.

Peter Jennings

Five days after the Flight 358 crash in Toronto, Canadian-born news anchorman Peter Jennings died of lung cancer. Those who knew Peter Jennings describe him as "studious", "indefatigable", "detail-oriented", and a "perfectionist". As we have shared throughout various articles, these are all unequivocal characteristics of a person with a "teacher" calling, and they are clear manifestations of the Girgashite spirit when that teacher calling goes astray.

Peter Jennings was known for his emphasis on world news, as opposed to the more "U.S.-centric" approach taken by most U.S. newscasters. This clearly shows that Peter Jennings had an "expansive" nature about him, which means that he also had the calling of a conquering "evangelist". Peter Jennings was a man of great natural grace and charm, which emphasizes his "evangelist" calling, since evangelists are endowed by God with a "natural grace" that enables them to attract souls unto God. Peter Jennings even had the name of an evangelist ("Peter" - Luke 5:10, Matthew 16:17-18). However, as we have said before, evangelists who stray from God's will become Amorites, which means that Peter Jennings was susceptible to the Amorite spirit.

Peter Jennings developed lung cancer because he smoked for 30 years. Cancer is a disease induced by the Amorite and Girgashite spirits, because it is a disease where the natural, biological life in cells goes greedily out of control. It is the "pride of life" manifested in the natural. As we also have shared in a previous word, the act of smoking has strong Amorite and Girgashite roots as well, and it is strongly related to France (the word "nicotine" comes from the name of a Frenchman, Jean Nicot). Therefore, it is not surprising that Peter Jennings was predisposed to smoking, and it is not surprising that he died of cancer shortly after the Air France Flight 358 crash, which happened in Canada, Peter Jennings' country of birth. As we have said before, Girgashites die by "drowning", and lung cancer destroys a person's ability to breathe properly, which is a figure of Girgashite drowning.

Peter Jennings' last broadcast appearance on the ABC network in the U.S. was on April 5, 2005, 3 days after the death of the "pope", "king of the Vatican". As we have shared before, the spiritually hideous "king of the Vatican" was a living manifestation of the Girgashite spirit on Earth. There was a partial sun eclipse in some parts of the world during his funeral. Many saw this as a sign of this man's "greatness", but those in the Spirit understood that it was a sign of God darkening the oppression of the Girgashite sun over the Earth.

Besides being a Girgashite, the "pope", as "king of the Vatican" was an Amorite king. He allowed others to exalt him, turning him into a "demigod" before whom his "brethren" were supposed to reverently bow and kiss his hand. Therefore, the "pope" was a living symbol of the stubborn Cain spirit on Earth; he was a living symbol of the Amorite-Girgashite spirit. It is not a coincidence, therefore, that Peter Jennings did his very last broadcast 3 days after the death of the "pope". Interestingly enough, Peter Jennings' first job as a "foreign correspondent" was in Rome. Again, this reinforces the influence of the Amorite and Girgashite spirits over Peter Jennings' life.

The Flight 358 crash happened 119 days after Peter Jennings' last broadcast on ABC News. The number 119 equals 17 times 7. As we have said before, the number "17" speaks of the manifestation of God's prophetic remnant, and the number "7" speaks of "resting in the Spirit. Just like all Girgashites, Peter Jennings was a workaholic who found it hard to rest. Therefore, the number 119 here is declaring that God's prophetic remnant will have victory over the stubborn Girgashite spirit in the Church. God will cause the Girgashite Church to finally rest in the Spirit. The Church will become prophetic, and she will flow in the fullness of the Spirit.

Peter Jennings died 124 days after his last broadcast on ABC News. The number 124 equals 31 times 4. As we have said before, the number "31", when used in a negative sense in Scripture, refers to the Amorite spirit. In a prophetic word that we "coincidentally" posted exactly 2 months after Peter Jennings' last broadcast (on June 5, 2005), we studied the "4 leviathans" and the connection between the Amorite spirit and "leviathans". Therefore, the number "31 times 4" points to the "4 leviathans". This means that Peter Jennings' death is also a prophetic figure of God's victory over the 4 Amorite leviathans in the Church.

In conclusion, the death of Peter Jennings is a prophetic figure of God's attack against the Amorite-Girgashite influence in general, and it is also a prophetic figure of God's attack against that influence in Canada proper. Canada is a strange mixture of the American, British, and French cultures. Even though this is not visible to the natural eye, the Flight 358 crash and Peter Jennings' death are prophetic seed in the spirit realm that is working to end the negative spiritual influence of France in Canada. This will prepare Canada for the latter-rain revival that will flow out from America and Britain. Canada will wake up spiritually, and she will begin to live out her evangelistic and teacher callings. In the latter days, all of this will become evident.
