Woke up with the word "Rome" in my spirit.

A few days ago, we received a very short e-mail which contained nothing but the line shown above. We were initially very intrigued by this e-mail, but we felt in our spirits that God wanted to say something to us through it. We prayed to the Lord to reveal His purposes to us, and this is what happened...

At one point on Thursday (Feb 10, 2005), this e-mail returned to my mind as I was watching the news. I began to think about the word "Rome" and lost the notion of what was being said on television. Suddenly, I raised my eyesight towards the TV, and I saw the word "Rome" printed on the bottom of the screen. They were showing a certain religious leader coming out of a Rome hospital. It was then that God confirmed to my heart that the inkling I was having at that moment was from Him: His reason behind this e-mail was related to the sickness of this religious leader. Before watching it on the news, I was not aware that this man had been staying at a hospital in Rome.

Last night (Friday, Feb 11), I sat down to meditate on another dream we received a week and a half ago. After I finished asking God concerning that dream, the "Rome" e-mail came to my mind once again. A second inkling that had come to my heart shortly after reading the e-mail was that the word "Rome" was an acronym for some phrase. I would read the word and feel that a phrase wanted to "blurt" out of my mouth, but the phrase wouldn't quite come out. Last night, however, as I began to think about the word, the phrase suddenly "bubbled" out of my inner being:

Reasoning Overload, Mind Enchantment

The religious leader mentioned above got sick around the day of the Iraqi elections (January 29-30, 2005). This is not a coincidence. As we briefly shared in a previous word, this man was completely opposed to the war in Iraq. On March 5, 2002, this man said during one of his "sermons" that there could be no peace on Earth while the peoples are oppressed and suffer social injustices. Yet, this hypocrite declared the war against Saddam Hussein to be "immoral". Well, if there can be no true peace while the peoples are oppressed, how could he in any way talk of making peace with a ruthless dictator who tortured, oppressed and even threw chemical weapons at his own people?!!! If this hypocrite had had his way, there would have never been free elections in Iraq on January 30, 2005, and the Iraqi people would still be under the boot of a ruthless and oppressive man.

In a prayer diary I used to keep, I began recording judgment prayers against this man starting on July 23, 2002. If we take that day as day #1, today (Feb 12, 2005) would be day #936. Interestingly enough, the number 936 equals 104 * 9. In a previous word, we shared on how Psalm 104 was reflected in a prophetic incident on July 31, 2004 where a tiger named "Apollo" escaped from a traveling circus and roamed about Queens, New York for about 30 minutes. Apollo's breakout was a figure of how God is releasing judgment lions in these latter days to disrupt the spirit of "religiosity" that has turned church gatherings into nothing more than "fun family picnics".

The religious leader in question is the head of a so-called "Christian" group that has turned "religiosity" into an art form. For centuries, this group's hierarchy has been very skillful at turning the so-called "Christian faith" into a series of rituals and empty ceremonies. In countries all over the world, people get dressed up on Sunday to attend these rituals, only to return to their sinful lives on Monday morning, all without ever seeing an inherent contradiction in the dual lives they are leading. Even mafia bosses have been known to be very devout members of this religious group; that goes to show how deeply rooted the spirit of "religiosity" is inside that group. Even though religiosity is rampant throughout the Body of Christ in general, this group has become a powerful stronghold of this spirit on Earth. Therefore, the spirit of religiosity cannot be defeated without this stronghold being torn down first. In the years to come, and especially after its current leader dies, you will see a rapid decline of this group's influence around the world. The reason why this current leader is holding on for dear life and hasn't kicked the bucket yet -- despite all the prayers of judgment that are weighing him down -- is because satan (cursed be he) knows that he will begin to lose his grip on many people's hearts upon the death of this man.

As we said above, the number 936 equals 104 * 9. This is what verse 9 of Psalm 104 declares:

"Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth." (Psalm 104:9)

A line has been drawn, and you shall not pass over it -- says the Lord -- for you shall not see your next birthday. Your whorish ways have reached my nostrils, and I have abhorred you. No one shall be called 'Holy Father' but Me. Cursed be the man who dares to take My place and who calls others to worship him as only I am to be worshipped. My wrath is against you and against all those who hold you up in prayer. My wrath shall descend upon all those who work to support you and uphold you. Death, disease, and heartache await you. For every second of prayer that you pronounce, countless hours of agony shall befall the people around you, for the time has come. I shall complete My work in these latter days, and cursed is any man who stands in My way.

According to a news report, this man left the Rome hospital at 19:36 local time; notice that the number 936 appears in the hour (I had not realized that until now). According to that news report (which I have to my left at this moment), this man is expected to make his 105th trip abroad to Köln, Germany in August. This means that he has already made 104 trips. "Coincidentally", 936 is 104 times 9. The line has been drawn at 104 (Psalm 104:9), and this man will never make trip 105. Hallelujah!

This Wednesday, this religious leader missed his first "Ash Wednesday" appearance in his 26 years as "supreme leader". The line has been drawn, and there is nothing he or anyone else can do about it.

This religious leader was hospitalized because of a severe respiratory condition. In other words, the man was "drowning". This is because the spirit of "religiosity" is intimately linked to the Girgashite spirit. As we have often shared, the Girgashite spirit likes to institute earthly methodologies and traditions, and the religious group this man leads is full of such methodologies and traditions; as we have also said before, Girgashites are condemned to die by "drowning".

Interestingly enough, the verses prior to Psalm 104:9 (quoted above) say the following:

"⁶Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains. ⁷At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away. ⁸They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them." (Psalm 104:6-8)

Notice that these verses speak of God's waters flooding the earth, which speaks of how God drowns those who live in Girgashite earthliness by flooding the very earth these Girgashites have placed their faith in.

As we shared above, the first part of the phrase that the Lord placed in my heart when thinking of ROME as an acronym was "Reasoning Overload". This speaks of this religious group's long tradition of "philosophical theology". This group's religious scholars like to delve into deep, philosophical discussions on theology and morality. Sure, they make references to the Bible, but their understanding of the Bible is at a purely literal, Girgashite level. As we shared in a previous word, "theologians" such as these like to "study God" the way a biologist studies a dissected animal. If you hear this group's theologians closely, you will notice that they looove the word "mystery"; the "mystical aura" surrounding that word seems to give them some sort of unhealthy intellectual high!

If you hear the sermons given by this group's preachers, you will see how they are loaded with earthly, moralistic, and humanistic comments. Rarely, if ever, do they quote the Bible. They base the value and authority of their messages on their ordained ecclesiastical title rather than on God's Word and His Anointing. For centuries, these preachers even preached in a dead language not spoken anywhere, and their followers were supposed to sit for 30 minutes as they listened to someone babbling in a language they did not understand. By doing so, these preachers were violating God's Word:

"Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue." (1 Corinthians 14:19)

Paul wrote the verse above in the context of the gift of tongues, which at least entails the flow of a spiritual gift through the person:

"For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries." (1 Corinthians 14:2)

The fools from this religious group, however, were preaching in a dead language!!! They were not speaking "mysteries" in the Spirit as they flowed in some angelical tongue; they were speaking dead garbage!!! The only "mystery" there was why in the world there would be a group of people out there who would be willing to sit through 30 minutes of such incomprehensible rambling!!!

The reason why this dead-language tradition persisted for so long is because it expressed a deeply-rooted problem in this group's leaders: they love to be admired. Saying things in some fancy, intellectual dead language that no one but they themselves understood gave them a sense of intellectual power and superiority. It was their subtle way of saying to the audience, "See, I am the only spiritual one here; you don't understand any of the mysterious things I am saying, do you?".

This group's religious leaders are plagued by Girgashite "intellectual-itis". They have "reasoning overload".

As this religious group "evangelized" different regions in the name of God, they played the Canaanite, people-pleasing game of appeasement. In Latin America, for example, this group saw that the natives were big fans of "statue worship", so they engaged in the practice of teaching them to revere statues of various saints. They would create a localized version of some major "religious figure" (like "Mary" or "Jesus") and make a statue that would adopt physical characteristics that people would relate to. They would also mix in local pagan traditions to make "Christianity" more palatable to them.

As we have shared before, the current (Feb 12, 2005) leader of this religious group has even made trips to various countries to "crown statues", i.e.- to hold ceremonies where he would place a crown on a statue's head. Apparently, the stupid little crown would make the statue worthy of even greater reverence and worship, especially since the crown was placed by their "great leader".

This religious group is aware of the Protestant influence In the U.S., so they have made a deliberate effort to tone down the emphasis on statue worship because they know that Americans would be offended by it. In Latin America, however, they have greatly adorned statues placed at the so-called "altar"; in these churches, their faithful followers respectfully walk down the middle lane to approach the altar and bow in deep reverence before these statues. The religious leader who will die this year not only has seen this. He supports it, and he even allows this type of statue worship to be applied to him, their greatest living statue.

"⁴Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: ⁵Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me" (Exodus 20:4-5)

"¹⁹Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: ²⁰But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood." (Acts 15:19-20)

This religious group has for centuries engaged in blatant "mind enchantment". They "enchant" people into mingling iniquity with righteousness in such a way that many of their followers no longer possess the capability to judge or discern the blatant sinfulness in many of their acts. I know of very devout people from this religious group who wouldn't miss a "statue procession" for the world but who at the same time see nothing wrong with basic sins such as lying, cheating, lewd language, fornication, idolatry, or even adultery!!! As we have said before, the mind is the "judgment factory" of the soul, and when the mind is enchanted by Canaanite spirits, the ability to make fair, righteous judgments is lost. This explains why Latin American countries (which as a region adopted this religious group's practices as their "official religion" for decades and decades) have historically been countries plagued by corruption, bloody violence, and political oppression. As Protestant "Christian" groups have made inroads into Latin America, they have fallen into the very same practices, but now at a subtler level. The judgment shall be worse for these Protestants, for they supposedly have more of the Scripture open to their minds, yet they have fallen back into the same spiritual atrocities!!! The atrocities of the past can be attributed to spiritual ignorance. The atrocities of the present, however, can only be attributed to blatant hardness of the heart.

"²³And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. ²⁴But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee." (Matthew 11:23-24)

This judgment word applies not only to the Latin American Protestants but to the elite hierarchy of the religious group we have discussed so far. They are living in an age where the revelation is available to them for them to repent, yet they have chosen to stick to their stale practices, which are rusting away before their eyes, just as their "great" leader is physically rusting away before ours!!

God has already been bringing judgments against the religious group we have discussed here. As some of us have unleashed judgment prayers against them in recent years, the pedophile scandals have surfaced and have produced great embarrassment for them; their leader's physical appearance has turned more and more pathetic, and the staleness of their practices has become more and more evident in the spirit realm.

When their "great" leader dies, a great spiritual door will be opened. The Lord has placed in my heart a deep love for the Italian people. I know in my knower that God will do great things in Italy in the latter days. As I began to earnestly pray for Italy some years ago (for no particular "natural" reason), the Lord would bring this religious leader to my mind time and time again, as if to say, "You must tear down this strong man before the people you are after can be rescued". Fellow believer, if you love the Italian people, please pray for the dismantling of the spiritual scaffolding that this religious group has placed over Italy (which serves as prison bars for her). Pray for death judgment against the unrepentant leaders of this religious group. It will not only liberate Italy; it will serve as spiritual seed that will help to restore the Church in general.

Before the Philistines can be defeated, Goliath must be defeated first.
