More than Cyprus

As we have seen in recent postings, Genesis 10:4 lists the 4 sons of Javan:

"And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim" (Genesis 10:4)

As we have shared in this series, Javan is the father of the "Latin" racial group in Europe. We saw in previous posting that Elishah refers to the Portuguese people and Tarshish to the Spaniards. The question then becomes, what European "Latin" people does Kittim refer to? To answer that, we must first consider the historical connections of the name "Kittim".

According to wikipedia.org, "Kittim" was a settlement on the east coast of present-day Cyprus and eventually became the name for the entire island of Cyprus in the Hebrew language. Despite linking "Kittim" to the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, the Wikipedia article does admit that the name "Kittim" had a "variable" usage in Hebrew literature, meaning that it cannot be taken to simply mean "Cyprus".

The following passages illustrate how "Kittim" refers to more than a single island:

"9 Wherefore I will yet plead with you, saith the LORD, and with your children's children will I plead. 10 For pass over the isles of Chittim, and see; and send unto Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there be such a thing. 11 Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit." (Jeremiah 2:9-11)

"5 They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee. 6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim." (Ezekiel 27:5-6)

Since Cyprus is a single island and not an archipelago, and since Cyprus per se never became any sort of "empire" that conquered other islands, we can safely conclude that "Chittim", as used in the passages above, cannot be taken to be a single island or even a single, centralised location. Instead, it must be taken to refer to a people with significant influence or control over other peoples and places.

The Kittim isles

To gain a better sense of what "Chittim" refers to, we must consider the word "isles" in the phrase "isles of Chittim" that appears in the two passages quoted in the section above. In both passages, "isles" is translated from the Hebrew noun iy, which appears for the first time in the following verse, also translated as "isles":

"By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations" (Genesis 10:5)

The word "Gentiles" was translated from the Hebrew word goyim, which literally means "nations", and is ironically translated as such when it reappears at the end of the above verse. Notice, therefore, how iy is used in the context of a multitude of diverse nations and peoples speaking various tongues.

Interestingly enough, after its first appearance in Genesis 10, iy does not appear in Scripture until the book of Esther, a book that describes events that happened to the Hebrew people outside of Israel whilst under the control of a mighty empire:

"1 And the king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land, and upon the isles of the sea. 2 And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, whereunto the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia? 3 For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed." (Esther 10:1-3)

[The word "isles" was translated from iy]

In Scripture, the "sea" is often related to the "nations of the Earth", which once again points to a linkage between iy and a multitude of nations and peoples.

After Esther 10:1, iy appears twice in the book of Psalms, both times being used by itself to speak of "isles" in general (as opposed to "isles of ..."). After that, iy appears 17 times in the book of Isaiah. Out of those 17 appearances, it is used twice to speak of "isles of the sea", 3 times to refer to a single "isle", and 12 times to "isles" in the plural. This reinforces the connection between iy and a multitude of diverse nations and peoples, especially since it is only used in the singular 3 times. It must be noted that, in 2 of those 3 times, iy is used to implicitly refer to Tyre and once to the the people of Israel.

The next time that iy appears is in Jeremiah 2:10 (quoted earlier) in reference to the "isles of Chittim". After that, it appears 3 more times in Jeremiah to refer to the "isles beyond the sea" (Jeremiah 25:22), "isles afar off" (Jeremiah 31:10), and the "isle of Caphtor" (Jeremiah 47:4, where iy is mistranslated as "country" in the KJV and Caphtor is believed to refer to Crete). Again, we can see how iy points to nations all over the Earth.

After Jeremiah, iy appears 9 times in 8 verses of the book of Ezekiel, where it appears 7 times to refer to "isles" in general, once to refer to the "isles of Chittim" (in Ezekiel 27:6 quoted earlier), and once to refer to the "isles of Elishah". This yet again emphasises the connection between iy in Scripture and peoples in general.

After Ezekiel, iy appears once in Daniel to refer to "isles" in general and once in Zephaniah to the "isles of the nations" (in Zephaniah 2:11, where the KJV mistranslates goyim as "heathen"), which once again points to the generic nations nature of iy. It is interesting to consider that iy is used to refer to the "isles of the nations" in both its first and last appearance.

To summarise, here is a breakdown of how iy is used in Scripture:

Usage No. usages Category
The isles of Kittim 2 Multiple isles of a single nation
The isles of Elishah 1 Multiple isles of a single nation
The isle of Caphtor 1 A single island nation
The isles of the nations 2 A wide variety of nations
The isles of the sea 3 A wide variety of nations
The isles beyond the sea 1 A wide variety of nations
The isles afar off 1 A wide variety of nations
Isles in general 22 A wide variety of nations
A single isle (Tyre) 2 An implicitly named island nation
A single isle (the people of Israel) 1 An implicitly named symbolic island

Notice that, out of its 36 appearances, iy is only used 4 times to refer to the isles of a particular nation or peoples; and, out of those 4 times, only 3 refer to multiple isles; and out of those 3 times, only one nation is referred to more than once: Kittim. This means that the Spirit of God went out of His way to associate multiple "isles" to one and only one nation: Kittim. Since multiple "isles" are clearly related in Scripture to a wide variety of peoples and nations, we can conclude that Kittim is intimately linked with a history of dominion over a wide variety of nations.

As a side note, it is worth noting that 32 out of the 36 appearances of the word iy for "isle" in Scripture are in 5 prophetic books (17 times in Isaiah, 4 times in Jeremiah, 9 times in Ezekiel, 1 time in Daniel, and 1 time in Zephaniah). We can derive the following from these numbers:

  • 8 out of every 9 appearances of iy are in prophetic books. As we have shared before, the numbers 8 and 9 together point to the flight of the prophetic remnant during the 5th-seal period, meaning that the remnant have had to take refuge in "isles". This evidences a strong spiritual connection between "isles", Kittim, and the remnant's 5th-seal ordeal.

  • Out of the 4 "major prophet" books in the so-called "Old Testament", Isaiah is the evangelistic Ox-Face book. Therefore, the fact that iy appears 17 times in Isaiah means that the remnant shall rise out of the "isles" to evangelistically conquer and exercise God's dominion on Earth (since the number "17" speaks of a "manifested remnant"). This shall happen during the 6th-seal stage.

  • The fact that iy appears 9 times (in 8 verses) in Ezekiel, the prophetic Eagle-Face book out of the 4 "major prophet" books, means that God's prophetic power will emanate from the remnant hidden in the "isles" (since the number "9" refers to dunamis power).

  • The fact that iy 's 9 appearances in Ezekiel are in 8 verses points to how the manifestation of prophetic power from God's remnant will be founded on His regeneration purposes (since the number "8" points to a Noah-style regeneration of all things). This means that the remnant will release prophetic power in order to regenerate the Earth unto God, not for self-centred purposes. This is also emphasised by the 8-out-of-9 ratio of iy's appearances in prophetic books (mentioned above).

  • The fact that iy appears so often in prophetic books means that there is a strong prophetic connection between the "isles" and the latter-day fulfilment of God's prophetic word.

From the above, we can conclude that the "Kittim isles" serve as a spiritual 5th-seal refuge for the remnant, a refuge from which shall emerge the 6th-seal manifestation of evangelistic dominion and prophetic power to regenerate the Earth in these latter days. That is why it is so important to understand and embrace the spirit of Kittim. This writer prays that, by the end of this posting, you will have understood and embraced the spirit of Kittim into your modus operandi.

The historical connection

Now that we have established that Kittim points to dominion over a vast and diverse group of nations and peoples, we can consider what nation has been historically associated to Kittim through the years.

Even though Kittim seems to initially point to the island of Cyprus, the Septuagint translators (who translated the so-called "Old Testament" from Hebrew and Aramaic to Greek between the 3rd and 2nd centuries B.C.) chose to translate the word "Kittim" in Daniel 11:30 as "Romans":

"For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant" (Daniel 11:30)

The prophetic word in Daniel 11 has a transcendent spiritual interpretation with fulfilments in many contexts and time periods, but its first major fulfilment in the historical realm was during the time after Alexander the Great's death and the splitting of his empire into 4 kingdoms. As explained in great detail on herealittletherealittle.net, Daniel 11:30's fulfilment in that context was during the warring between these kingdoms, when the Seleucid king Antiochus IV Epiphanes sent his army against Ptolemaic Egypt in 168 BC but was forced to retreat by the Romans. This writer does not know whether the Septuagint's translation of Kittim as "Romans" in Daniel 11:30 was done before or after 168 BC, but, regardless of this, it is clear that there is a clear connection between Kittim and the Romans.

This connection to the Romans is emphasised in other places. As indicated on wikipedia.org, the Jossipon is a chronicle of Jewish history from Adam to the days of the Roman emperor Titus (79-81 AD). The Jossipon, or "Sefer Yossipon" in Hebrew, was compiled in Hebrew at the start of the 10th century by a Greek-speaking Jew in South Italy and was expanded by a Bulgarian Jew (Judah Leon ben Moses Mosconi) during the 14th century. The Sefer Yossipon indicates that, as the descendants of Noah spread out, Kittim settled in Campania (in southern Italy), and sons of Tubal settled in Tuscany (in northern Italy) and built the city of "Sabine". Needing women, the sons of Kittim kidnapped Sabine women during the incorrectly-named "Rape of the Sabines", and thus was the Roman nation born. Hence, we can see how the Hebrew tradition associates Kittim with the Romans, in no uncertain terms.

{As a parenthesis, the Sabines have historically been considered "Italic" people. However, as indicated on wikipedia.org, the Sabine language can be categorised as an "Umbrian" language, and the Umbri were considered Germanic by ancient Roman authors and mediaeval literature (as indicated on wikipedia.org). Thus, it is more correct to think of the Sabines as Germanic. This is consistent with the account in the Jossipon, since, as we have shared before, Tubal is the father of the Germanic peoples. As is known by many, people in southern Italy are known to be more dark-haired and dark-skinned than the lighter-skinned, blondish, and often blue-eyed people in northern Italy. This is because of the Germanic, "Tubalian" mixture in the north of Italy that is also present, but less prevalent, in the more strictly "Kittimian" south of Italy.}

As indicated on livius.org, various commentaries on the Hebrew Scriptures, known as the "pesharim" (or pesher in the singular), also associate "Kittim" to the "Romans" (including the "Pesher on the Apocalypse of Weeks", the "Pesher Isaiah", the "Pesher Habakkuk", and the "Pesher Nahum"). Thus, we see once again how the Hebrew culture has clearly linked Kittim to the historical Romans.

As we saw earlier, Kittim's connection to "isles" in Scripture reveals that the descendants of Kittim are linked to dominion over a vast and diverse group of nations and peoples. This correlates perfectly with the Romans, who, as we all know, maintained dominion over a diverse mixture of peoples for many centuries, all the way from Britannia to the Middle East. Even if it can be argued that the British Empire was greater in size, the Roman empire lasted longer, and it maintained prolonged control over most of Europe, something that the British Empire cannot claim. Thus, the Roman Empire was able to exercise dominion over a much larger variety of peoples, from whites to non-whites of very different cultures. Said another way, the Romans had dominion over a multitude of "isles", each of which was a different world unto itself, retaining its difference despite being joined to the other isles through Roman law and culture.

The Romans' effect on a "multitude of isles" can be seen even to this day all over the world. Most of the world either uses or is very familiar with the Romans' Latin alphabet, and most of the languages in Europe are strongly influenced by the Latin language. The Roman system of law has also had an enormous influence on the legal systems of nations all over the world.

From all of the above, we can safely conclude that Kittim refers to the Romans, and, hence, to the Latin group of "Italians" in general. To get a better sense of the spiritual identity of Kittim and Italians, we shall consider the Hebrew words used in Scripture that are similar to the word "Kittim". To do this, we shall consider the words immediately before and after "Kittim" in Strong's Concordance, given that Strong's Concordance orders the Hebrew/Aramaic words used in Scripture based on the (God-inspired) Hebrew alphabet.

The writing Kittim

Writing that stays

The Hebrew word immediately preceding "Kittim" (H3794) in Strong's Concordance is kethobeth (H3793), which means "impression, inscription, mark" and is used only once, in Leviticus 19:28, to ban the people of Israel from making any cuttings on their bodies for the dead or marking themselves with tattoos. Therefore, kethobeth has the connotation of a writing or mark of a permanent nature that has spiritual significance.

Writing laws

The next preceding word in Strong's Concordance is the Aramaic word kethab (H3792) meaning "writing, inscription, written requirement". The first appearance of kethab is in the following verse, translated as "written":

"And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, which is at Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses" (Ezra 6:18)

Notice, therefore, how kethab is linked with the concept of writing spiritual laws. This linkage is reinforced in the other 11 verses (in Ezra 6, Ezra 7, Daniel 5, and Daniel 6) where kethab is used. Thus, we can begin to see how kethab is related to the apostolic endowment, since that is the endowment most directly related with laws and the making of judgements. We can also see that kethab's linkage to the apostolic applies to the previous word, kethobeth, since kethobeth points to writing things that have spiritual significance, which is what apostles constantly do (literally and figuratively) as they lay down spiritual laws and judgements.

Writing patterns

The next preceding word in Strong's Concordance is the noun kathab (H3791), the Hebrew equivalent of the Aramaic word kethab mentioned above. The first occurrence of kathab is in verse 19 of the following passage, translated as "writing", when describing how David relayed from the Lord to Solomon the patterns that he needed to use to build the Temple:

"18 And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD. 19 All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern." (1 Chronicles 28:18-19)

Hence, we can see how kathab is related to the plastering of patterns and principles from God Himself, which once again points to the apostolic endowment, for that is the endowment most directly related to wisdom and the discernment of patterns, laws, and principles.

Writing dreams

The next preceding word in Strong's Concordance is the Aramaic word kethab (H3790), which is the verb equivalent of the Aramaic noun kethab mentioned above. Its 8 usages in 7 verses (in Ezra 4-6 and Daniel 5-7) reveal that the verb kethab is related to writing things that are intended to have a strong and lasting spiritual effect (in the first 3 usages, the intended effect was negative, and, in the other 5, the intended effect was positive, i.e. in accordance with God's will). Thus, it points yet again to the apostolic endowment that prompts you to "write" spiritual laws, principles, and judgements that are intended to have a strong and lasting effect.

Interestingly enough, the last usage of the verb kethab is in the following verse (translated as "wrote"), where Daniel begins to describe a vision of 4 great animals:

"In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters." (Daniel 7:1)

Notice how kethab is used in the context of "a dream and visions". This points in a very subtle way to the Spirit of Philadelphia, God's Spirit of Dreams and Visions.

Writing memorials

The next preceding word in Strong's Concordance is the Hebrew word kathab (H3789), which is the verb equivalent of the similar Hebrew noun kathab mentioned above. The first of the 223 appearances of the verb kathab in Scripture is in verse 14 of the following passage, where it is translated as "write":

"14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. 15 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi: 16 For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation." (Exodus 17:14-16)

Notice how kathab once again points to the writing of words that are intended to have a lasting spiritual effect. Notice also how kathab is subtly linked in its very first appearance to the name "Jehovah Nissi", which, as we have mentioned before, is the "Jehovah" name that is related to God's Spirit of Philadelphia, the Spirit of Dreams and Visions. Hence, we once again see a subtle linkage between the Hebrew words near Kittim and God's Spirit of Philadelphia.

Roman laws and writing

We can see how all of the above correlates with the Romans, for, as was mentioned earlier, the Romans are famous not only for their conquests but for the legal system that they consistently applied across their entire empire. As indicated on wikipedia.org, the Roman law system lasted for over 1000 years and is the basic framework for civil law, the most widely used legal system on Earth today. The Roman influence is so strong that many Latin legal terms remain in wide use to this day. This means that Romans revealed an inherent ability to write down laws, i.e. writing things of a permanent nature that reflect higher principles that need to be upheld. Therefore, we can say that, as the Romans put together a law framework that would be used by the rest of the world, they were fulfilling part of their Kittim calling.

The fact that Scripture reveals a subtle connection between this type of apostolic writing and the Spirit of Philadelphia means that there is a subtle connection between the Romans, i.e. Italians, and the Spirit of Dreams and Visions. As one enters into the apostolic Kittim anointing of "writing" out laws and principles of a transcendent nature, one becomes more likely to be exposed to and embrace God's Spirit of Philadelphia. Silly as this may sound, this writer feels compelled to share that it is no coincidence that the Rocky films involve an Italian fighter from Philadelphia who starts from poverty and smallness but who dreams of great things and eventually achieves them, becoming world champion.

As a side note, the Romans' connection to "writing" is even reflected in the alphabet used by most of the world in a great variety of languages (all the postings on this website were originally written using the Roman alphabet, and you are probably reading these words in the Roman alphabet as we speak). And, as was also mentioned earlier, a wide variety of languages not only use the Roman alphabet but have many of their words deriving from Latin, the Romans' language. God even allowed the relevance of Roman writing to be reflected on the cross at Golgotha:

"And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS" (Luke 23:38)

"This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin" (John 19:20)

Kittim goods for others

The next preceding word in Strong's Concordance is kishrown (H3788), which is translated as "success, skill, profit" in Strong's Concordance. However, the KJV translators chose to translate it as "equity", "right", and "good" in its 3 appearances in Scripture.

kishrown: Foundational wisdom

The first appearance of kishrown is in the verse below, translated as "equity":

"For there is a man whose labour is in wisdom, and in knowledge, and in equity; yet to a man that hath not laboured therein shall he leave it for his portion. This also is vanity and a great evil." (Ecclesiastes 2:21)

Notice how kishrown is used in the context of "wisdom", and, in a sense, it is also used in the sense of foundations, since it speaks of someone doing work that is left for someone else to continue. Thus, it points yet again to the apostolic endowment, the endowment most directly related to wisdom and to the laying of spiritual foundations.

kishrown: Price to pay

The second appearance of kishrown is in the verse below, translated as "right":

"Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit." (Ecclesiastes 4:4)

Notice that, within the context of the first half of this verse, kishrown is used in a positive sense to describe work related to "travail". And, as evidenced in 1 Corinthians 4, the apostolic endowment prompts believers to carry out burdensome, travailing work in order to blaze a new trail that others can walk in. Unlike Girgashite work, apostolic work has a spiritual imprint on it, for which reason Ecclesiastes 4:4 above ends with a reference to the "spirit" (and not the soul). Thus, if we consider Ecclesiastes 4:4 from a higher perspective than the one normally applied to it, we can say that it speaks of how the world system has forced true apostolic work to come with a high price of spiritual turmoil ("vexation of spirit") and a sense of emptiness ("vanity") for the one doing the (righteous) work.

It is also worth noting that the "jealousy" in Ecclesiastes 4:4 speaks of the zeal that is stirred by judgements. This is because the word "envied" was translated from qinah, the same word that is used in verses such as Numbers 25:11 and Psalm 69:9 to refer to the zeal that emanates from someone making judgements. Thus, Ecclesiastes 4:4 is speaking of the counter judgement-zeal that apostolic judgement-zeal triggers in the people around them. As people are judged by the apostolic endowment, they judge back, usually in Canaanite revenge, causing unGodly harm on the apostolic believer.

kishrown: Accelerated impartation

The third and last appearance of kishrown is in the verse below, translated as "good" in the phrase "what good is there":

"When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?" (Ecclesiastes 5:11)

The word "beholding" was translated from the Hebrew verb reiyth, which is only used once in Scripture and is derived from the verb raah meaning to "see". Given that raah is the verb used in Genesis 1:4 when describing that God "saw" that His work was good, we can see that both reiyth and raah are related to apostolic judgements that decide whether something is "good" or not. Therefore, we can see how kishrown is subtly connected, yet again, to the apostolic endowment of wisdom and judgements.

Subtle spiritual equations

As a parenthesis, it is worth mentioning that Ecclesiastes 5:11 above has a deeper meaning that the one that can be easily discerned when reading it (just as we saw with Ecclesiastes 4:4). Unbeknownst to most believers, most of the sayings in Proverbs and Ecclesiastes are more like spiritual formulas than declarative statements that something is "good" or "bad". In other words, they are like chemical equations that say that, if you mix "x" amount of A and "y" amount of B, you will get "z" amount of C and "r" amount of D. The results predicted by the formula will be the same, regardless of whether A, B, C, and D are applied for good or evil. For example, the statement "Practising something repeatedly will make you good at it" means that if you apply large amounts of "practice" to a certain "activity", you will produce new amounts of "skill" in performing that "activity". This "chemical equation" will be valid regardless of whether the "activity" in question is a rescue operation to save people in peril or shooting and killing forest animals just for sadistic pleasure. This means that the statement "Practising something repeatedly will make you good at it" makes no statement about the "goodness" or "evil" of the activity. Thus, we cannot praise someone for being good at something simply because he followed the "practice makes perfect" equation. The "practice makes perfect" statement does not make a value judgement about "practising" and in no way declares that adding the "practice" ingredient to something makes it morally good. It just states a cause and effect, and this cause and effect can apply to morally good things and to morally bad things, and it can apply to different things in different realms and levels.

Accelerated productivity for others

Therefore, if we return to Ecclesiastes 5:11 with this awareness, we can see that it not only makes a statement about the vanity of accumulating earthly things, it actually makes a statement about what happens every time that "goods" increase. Upon deeper meditation, it can be seen that Ecclesiastes 5:11 is saying that apostolic wisdom increases productivity and that new wisdom can be absorbed quickly by many people who were not part of the original process that produced that wisdom, making that new wisdom an essential part of many people's lives even when they had no "need" for it before the new wisdom was birthed (consider, for example, how mobile phones are an essential part of people's lives even when no one had a "need" for them 40 years ago). In the midst of this widespread absorption and consumption of the new wisdom, those who gave birth to it can watch with satisfaction and know that it is all "good" because apostolic wisdom's ultimate purpose is not to enrich the apostle but to accelerate the production and use of wisdom in other people's lives . If you go back to Ecclesiastes 2:21 above, you will see that it also speaks of how apostolic wisdom is intended to accelerate the production and use of wisdom in others who may not have participated in the initial sowing process (Matthew 20:1-16). This is a difficult thing to accept for the matriarchal soul but a joyous reality for those who operate in the Spirit.

Roman zeal to do what is right

All of the above once again correlates with the Romans. Imperfect and flawed as they were, they did show an inherent tendency to seek to do the right thing (kishrown) as per the laws they had established:

"13 Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee? 14 And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly. 15 Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would. 16 And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas. 17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ? 18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him. 19 When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. 20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus. 21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas. 22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. 23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified. 24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it." (Matthew 27:13-24)

Notice how Pilate was trying to find a legal justification or procedure to let Yeshua go. Even though he was the governor of the region and had extensive power, he did not feel comfortable with punishing Yeshua under Roman law because he could not find anything to accuse him of. On top of that, he was concerned about the prophetic word that his wife had given him about Yeshua. Unfortunately, the soulish part of Pilate was also interested in appeasing the Jews in order to preserve the "peace" in his Roman province. This is why he tried the "free a prisoner" loophole, pitting the innocent Yeshua against an obvious murderer. According to Mark 15:7 and Luke 23:19, Barabbas had participated in an insurrection against the Romans, meaning that Pilate was willing to risk the liberation of a dangerous man who had rebelled against him and the Romans in order to give Yeshua a "legal chance" (in his view). Unfortunately, and to Pilate's surprise, the Jewish crowd chose the murderer over the innocent Yeshua. It was still within his authority under Roman law to simply set Yeshua free, but, because Pilate was also interested in appeasing the Jews and preserving the "peace" in his province, he took the other option that was available to him under Roman law: delegate the fate of Yeshua to the "local authorities". Due to Pilate's selfishness and due to the reaction that he saw in the Jewish crowd, he felt compelled to hand Yeshua over to the Jews, his cowardly soul felt cornered, and he relinquished Yeshua, but not without washing his hands in public because his Roman sense of legality knew that a horrible injustice was about to be committed. The point here, however, is how Pilate tried to follow the law when dealing with Yeshua, never acting like a monarch with absolute power.

"24 The chief captain commanded him to be brought into the castle, and bade that he should be examined by scourging; that he might know wherefore they cried so against him. 25 And as they bound him with thongs, Paul said unto the centurion that stood by, Is it lawful for you to scourge a man that is a Roman, and uncondemned? 26 When the centurion heard that, he went and told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what thou doest: for this man is a Roman. 27 Then the chief captain came, and said unto him, Tell me, art thou a Roman? He said, Yea. 28 And the chief captain answered, With a great sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free born. 29 Then straightway they departed from him which should have examined him: and the chief captain also was afraid, after he knew that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him. 30 On the morrow, because he would have known the certainty wherefore he was accused of the Jews, he loosed him from his bands, and commanded the chief priests and all their council to appear, and brought Paul down, and set him before them." (Acts 22:24-30)

Notice how the centurion immediately froze when Paul told him that he was a Roman citizen. The centurion could have simply said, "Who cares? I have the whip, and you don't. You are bound, and I am free to whip you, and there is nothing you can do about it." However, because he was a minister of the Roman law system, and because he knew that the Roman law system would prosecute him if he chose to whip a Roman citizen without clear justification, he notified the chief captain about Paul's "legal status", and, instead of taking an "I couldn't care less" attitude, the chief captain acted like the centurion and froze in fear, ordering that the "whipping crew" distance themselves from Paul (v29). Notice that the chief captain, who was clearly the person "in greatest control" and with the greatest power in the situation, shivered in fear over the possible consequences of having bound a Roman citizen (even when they had not flogged him). All of this illustrates how law-oriented the Romans were and how focused they were on "doing the right thing" (at least to the best of their natural understanding).

"36 And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace. 37 But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out. 38 And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans. 39 And they came and besought them, and brought them out, and desired them to depart out of the city." (Acts 16:36-39)

As described earlier in the chapter, the magistrates flogged Paul and Silas because they had been called in in the middle of a great agitation in which the crowd accused Paul and Silas of causing unrest in the city and stirring revolt against the Romans. In other words, the magistrates flogged Paul and Silas because they became entangled in the frenzy and confusion caused by the Korah-ite crowd that surrounded them. However, when they later realised that they had flogged Roman citizens, fear enveloped them, even when they could have argued that their actions were in the interest of the "better good" because they were able to quell the unrest. This is because, as ministers of the Roman law, they knew that they had a duty to "do the right thing", regardless of the circumstances. All of this emphasises how the sense of duty to the law was ingrained in the thinking of the Roman people, including those who held the reins of power.

As we have already shared above, Roman law is the foundation for most of the legal systems around the world, especially the successful ones, meaning that the sense of duty to the law and to doing the right thing has benefited many others, serving as an important element in the social and economical prosperity and dominance of many generations in other nations, even when the Romans fell from their prosperity and dominance many centuries ago. This illustrates how "Kittim apostolic work" can be a source of immediate blessing to those who did not participate in the original work.

Kosher Kittim

The next preceding word in Strong's Concordance is kasher (H3787), which, according to Strong's Concordance, can be translated as "to succeed or prosper, to be acceptable". Just as with kishrown , this word's "official" translation does not reflect the truer meaning of this verb, which is better discerned from the 3 verses where it is used in Scripture.

Right to the mind

The first appearance of kasher is in the following verse, translated as "seem right":

"And said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king's provinces" (Esther 8:5)

Notice how kasher is used in the context of writing new laws to reverse the effect of previous unrighteous writings, which once again points to the apostolic endowment of laws and judgements. Notice also that kasher is used as a complement to "favour" and "pleasing", meaning that it appeals more to the "right" side of the king, i.e. his mind. In other words, Esther (the person speaking in the verse above) felt the need to use kasher because she wanted to speak of something that went beyond having favour and being pleasing to the king. She was appealing to the king's sense of right and wrong, meaning that she was not asking for a law to be written solely on the basis of favouritism but wanted a law that was consistent with God's justice.

Sabbath wisdom

The next time that kasher appears in Scripture is in the following verse, translated as "direct":

"If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct" (Ecclesiastes 10:10)

The KJV translators' use of "direct" to translate kasher is because they realised that kasher was being used to signify something that sends you on the "right" path, as opposed to something that sends you to the wrong place. Hence, we can once again see kasher's linkage to the apostolic endowment that enables correct judgements that allow you to discern which is the "right path". The connection to the apostolic endowment is further emphasised by the explicit reference to (apostolic) wisdom.

It is worth mentioning that Ecclesiastes 10:10 speaks of the importance of strategy over "brute force", and it speaks of the importance of "keeping the Sabbath". People, especially those who are strongly influenced by the teacher endowment, have a tendency to apply the same procedures and methods over and over again without taking time to evaluate or improve those methods' effectiveness. Ironically, such people become so focused on using time "efficiently" that they find it a big "waste of time" to stop what they are doing and evaluate the results of their methods, even when those results are inefficient. In other words, they think it is a better use of time to continue chopping away with their blunt axe than to stop their chopping and invest some time sharpening the axe. The reason why the Lord commands us to "keep the Sabbath" (spiritually speaking) is so that we may stop the repetitive, natural work done during the "week" so that we may turn our eyes towards higher, more spiritual things. Contrary to what a Girgashite teacher might think, this "weekly" break from the mundane will actually allow the mundane tasks for the next week to be more effective and prosperous, for it will allow God to intervene in your heart and mind and give you the apostolic wisdom and prophetic insight that you will need to elevate everything that you do to a higher level.

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33)

Based on the above, we can say that America's conservatives are the ultimate blunt-axe lumberjacks. They constantly swing the same blunt axe of the flawed Constitutional system that their idols, the Founding Fathers, gave to them over 200 years ago. Unaware that this flawed, blunt axe was allowed by God for a season because America was still too immature for a "more perfect" system, they treat it as if it had been handed down by God to Moses on Mount Sinai. Whenever the Constitution's blatant flaws are exposed and taken advantage of by worthless liberals, conservatives' knee-jerk reaction is to blame those "evil liberals" instead of realising that America's bastard liberals have been able to do a great deal of their damage precisely because America's constitutional system is fundamentally flawed and requires a massive overhauling from its foundations. Unfortunately, America's conservatives would rather die with a rifle in their right hand and a "Don't tread on me" flag on their left hand than ever admit that the Founding Fathers established a system that is metaphysically flawed. Despite the many great elements and "good intentions" embedded in it, America's Constitutional axe requires a massive, fundamental "resharpening" so as to establish a system that is metaphysically kasher-ed and is less susceptible to the abuses that America's bastard liberals (those sons of Belial) have been able to execute with such deceitful impunity. When will the American conservatives who refuse to keep the Sabbath disappear from the face of the Earth? When?

Conscious and unconscious "right"

The third and last time that kasher appears in Scripture is in the following verse, translated as "prosper":

"In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good" (Ecclesiastes 11:6)

The above verse speaks of two different activities, one done during sunlight and one done when the sun is down. Hence, it points to a combination of visible and invisible activities. The sowing of seed during the morning speaks of the "right-handed", visible actions that we can perform in pursuit of a certain outcome. The "non-withholding of the hand" during the evening speaks of the "left-handed", invisible actions that our "sub-conscious" can perform as we rest from the visible actions we executed during the day. In the verse above, the Spirit of God is saying that we need to be open to both and to be aware that some outcomes can be achieved mostly with right-handed visible actions, others mostly with left-handed invisible actions, and others with a combination of the two. Sometimes, the conscious, right-handed actions are the right thing to do, and, at other times, the sub-conscious, left-handed actions are the right thing to do. Thus, we can see that kasher points to what is the right thing to do and can be labelled "good" (as indicated at the end of Ecclesiastes 11:4 above), meaning that it points to an application of the apostolic endowment of judgements that does not unrighteously lean to the right or to the left only.

What is truly kosher

As you may know, the word "kosher" is used in English to refer to food that is acceptable in Judaism because it conforms literally to the dietary laws in the Torah. As indicated on wikipedia.org, this word originated from the Ashkenazi pronunciation of the Hebrew verb kasher studied above. This further emphasises the apostolic nature of kasher, due to kosher's connection to law and judgements.

In the light of how the Spirit of God uses kasher, we can see how Judaism, which is so concerned with being "kosher", has violated Ecclesiastes 11:6 by unrighteously leaning to the visible "right" side, focusing on the literal application of dietary laws without ever taking the time to discern their invisible, prophetic, "left-handed" meaning. Judaism has also violated Ecclesiastes 10:10 because it has not taken the time to truly keep the Sabbath by ceasing from all of their religious activities to evaluate the validity of those activities, especially in light of how Christianity has refused to go away. If Yeshua is not the Messiah, why has God not judged Christianity to extinction or reduced it to a tiny, insignificant religion? If Yeshua is not the Messiah, why has Christianity become the instrument through which the relevance of the Bible and the Jewish people have been established around the world? If it were not for Christianity, what "Gentile" from any race would even consider naming their son "Daniel", "Jeremiah", or "Isaiah"? If it were not for Christianity, how many non-scholar "Gentiles" would even know about Moses and the parting of the Reed Sea, Noah and the flood, or David and Goliath? If Yeshua is not the Messiah, why did Israel, as a nation, suddenly disappear from the face of the Earth a mere 37-40 years after Israel had rejected Yeshua as the Messiah and killed Him at Golgotha? And why did Israel resurface as a nation only after 6,000,000 Jews were sacrificed in the Holocaust, thereby fulfilling the curse of Deuteronomy 28-29 in such a violent and literal way?

If Yeshua is not the Messiah and Christianity was a vicious deception from the enemy, why have Christians been the main source of support for the nation of Israel despite the massive onslaught of Arab and secular hatred? If the Jewish people were actually "honouring" God by rejecting Yeshua, the followers of mohammed would never be able to defeat Israel, even if Israel had no Western help, for God would never allow His true faith to be obliterated by the sons of Ishmael. The fact, however, is that, were it not for the Christian influence in the U.S. and the U.K., mohammed's followers would not have a fear of retaliation from the U.S. and Europe, and they would have launched a deadly attack on Israel that would have resulted in the utter destruction of both Israel and all the Arab nations that follow mohammed. If the followers of Judaism ever took time from their literal Sabbath to meditate on all of this, their eyes would be opened, and they would enter into the life of Elohim. They would enter into what is truly kasher in the eyes of God and they would finally walk in God's intended calling for them. Naturally, Israel's awakening will not happen until the so-called "Christian" Church awakens from its soulish, matriarchal stupor and begins to walk in the Spirit, thereby manifesting the true God of Israel and stirring the Israelites to jealousy (Romans 11:11).

A "touch" of prophetic

As a final note in this section, you may have noticed that, even though the words we have meditated on strongly point to the right-handed apostolic endowment of wisdom, laws, and judgements, they also point in a subtle way towards the left-handed prophetic endowment. We can see this interplay of apostolic and prophetic in Pilate's dealing with Yeshua. As we shared above, the Spirit of God declares (in Matthew 27:19) that Pilate's wife had a dream warning her and her husband about Yeshua's innocence and about not inflicting any harm on Him and that Pilate was notified by his wife of the dream as he sat in the judgement seat to judge Yeshua. It is evident from the context that Pilate took his wife's dream very seriously, even as he also weighed the evidence that was visible to his natural mind. In other words, Pilate the Roman was open to the prophetic voice when executing apostolic judgements. This is a subtle trait embedded in the Romans, i.e. the Italian people, the sons of Kittim.

Kittim strikers

So far we have gone back 7 words in Strong's Concordance from the word "Kittim". We shall now move "forward", considering the words that appear right after the Hebrew word for "Kittim" in Strong's Concordance.

Pounding into a desired shape

The Hebrew word that appears right after the word for "Kittim" in Strong's Concordance is kathiyth (H3795), which means "beaten out, pounded fine" and is derived from the verb kathath meaning "to beat, crush to pieces, crush fine". To get a sense of kathath, consider how it is used in some of its 17 appearances in Scripture:

"In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction" (Isaiah 24:12)

[The word "smitten" was translated from kathath]

"And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit" (Isaiah 30:14)

[The phrase "broken in pieces" was translated from kathath]

"Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong" (Joel 3:10)

[The word "beat" was translated from kathath]

Notice how kathath has the connotation of a persistent pounding or beating on something until it achieves the desired shape, as when a ploughshare is beaten until it becomes a sword or when a vessel is beaten until it is reduced to powder. Thus, kathath points to the constant application of judgements on something until it achieves a desired shape, which can either be a better shape or no shape at all (as when something is judged unto destruction). As you can imagine, beating something into a desired shape requires a certain amount of "mercilessness" towards the object. You cannot beat a ploughshare into a sword if you think of the ploughshare as a living creature with "feelings". Instead, you must "ruthlessly" continue to pound on the ploughshare until you see that it has the shape of a sword. You cannot beat a clay vessel into dust if you are emotionally attached to it or if you see it as some sort of "life form". Instead, you must focus on the goal of turning it into dust and not waste any time in your pounding, for you will know that it will require a significant amount of blows to turn all the clay pieces into dust.

Considering the 3 verses quoted above, it becomes evident that kathath is a very strongly linked to judgements, and, hence to the apostolic endowment. When you are kathath-ing an object into a desired shape, you are in essence working to give that object the shape indicated in a judgement's verdict. Since kathiyth is directly derived from kathath, we can then infer that the word kathiyth is also apostolic in nature.

Striking oil

Now that we have considered kathath, the verb form of kathiyth, let us consider how kathiyth itself is used in Scripture. Interestingly enough, kathiyth is only used 5 times in Scripture, 4 times in the Torah and once in 1 Kings. And, all 5 times, kathiyth is used to refer to oil, as shown below:

"And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always" (Exodus 27:20)

[The word "beaten" was translated from kathiyth]

The word "oil" above was translated from the Hebrew noun shemen, which is the noun that the adjective kathiyth is always applied to wherever it is used. As we have shared before, oil is most directly related to the prophetic anointing. Therefore, the fact that the Spirit of God interlocks apostolic kathiyth with prophetic shemen emphasises the need to operate in both endowments in order to deal out "kosher Kittim blows".

The elements of a good beating

When applying a "Kittim judgement beating" on something or someone, one must take into account 3 elements:

  • Intensity
The beater must consider how hard or how soft each blow must be, taking into account the intended final shape. If that final shape is dust, the blows must be very hard. If the intention is to add a curvature to the object, the blows may need to be hard or soft, depending on the material the object is made of, and the blows may need to be softer and softer as the desired curvature is reached.

As we have shared before, the Son of God is the Person in whom we can discern "what" to do, and the Son is most directly related to the apostolic endowment of judgements. Therefore, we can say that, as we act like "sons of God" immersed in this realm to make apostolic judgements about our surroundings, we become aware of the intensity with which we must apply the judgement blows. This is because, as apostolic sons, we will be stirred to different levels of wrath depending on the type of unrighteousness we come in contact with when we interact with the sons of and daughters of men (Hebrews 10:27, 2 Corinthians 7:7-11, Philippians 3:4-6).

  • Timing
The beater must also consider the correct time for each blow, which includes discerning the correct "blow frequency". Even if he is striking with the right strength or intensity, blows at the wrong time can have negative consequences (as when someone takes sleep-inducing medicine before operating heavy machinery), and blows that are either too infrequent or too frequent can prevent the desired result (as when someone takes a dosage too infrequently, reducing its effectiveness, or when someone takes a dosage too frequently, which can lead to terrible side effects).

As we have shared before, God the Father is the Person in whom we can best discern "when" to do something, and the Father is most directly related to the evangelistic endowment. Therefore, we can say that, as we choose to heed the will of the Father and act in His Authority, we become evangelistically enabled to recognise doors of opportunity and to burst through them at the right time to achieve the desired result. This means that we will know exactly when to strike each blow.

  • Location
The beater must also consider the correct location for each blow. Even if your blows have the right intensity and the right timing, they will either be ineffective or be destructive if they are not applied in the right location (consider, for example, someone applying a defibrillator on the knees instead of the heart).

As we also shared before, the Holy Spirit is the Person in whom we can best discern "how" to do something, and the Holy Spirit is most directly related to the prophetic endowment. Therefore, we can say that, as we choose to be sensitive to the invisible voice of the Holy Spirit, we become prophetically enabled to know the exact location where each judgement blow must be struck. If we are unwilling to or uninterested in allowing ourselves to be led by God's prophetic Spirit, our judgement blows will strike in the wrong place and will have the potential to do more harm than good. This is why, for our blows to be "kosher", we must have a mixture of right-handed apostolic and left-handed prophetic.

The Kittim wall

The next word after kathiyth in Strong's Concordance is the Hebrew word kothel (H3796), which literally means "wall" and is only used once in Scripture, in the following verse:

9 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice. 10 My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. 11 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;" (Songs 2:9-11)

As we have shared before, the spirit is "male" and the soul is "female". Therefore, the wall separating the beloved from the bride speaks of a separation between the spirit and the soul. In the passage above, the Spirit is telling the soul that the time of Old-Covenant division has ended and that the barrier separating the spirit realm from the soul (and hence the natural) realm could be crossed.

The written wall

The next word after kothel in Strong's Concordance is the Aramaic word kethal (H3797), the Aramaic equivalent of kothel. The word kethal is only used twice in Scripture, the first time being in verse 8 of the following passage, translated as "walls":

"7 They sent a letter unto him, wherein was written thus; Unto Darius the king, all peace. 8 Be it known unto the king, that we went into the province of Judea, to the house of the great God, which is builded with great stones, and timber is laid in the walls, and this work goeth fast on, and prospereth in their hands." (Ezra 5:7-8)

The above words were part of the letter sent by the enemies of God to king Darius to complain about the walls of Jerusalem that God's people were building. Therefore, kethal is being used here to speak of walls that keep God's enemies away.

The next and last time that kethal is used in Scripture is in the following verse, translated as "wall":

"In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote" (Daniel 5:5)

As you may know, the verse above refers to the famous "writing on the wall" that king Belshazzar saw right before God's judgement rained down on him for having defiled the Temple's holy vessels. The two words "wrote" that appear in the verse above were translated from the Aramaic word kethab that we had studied earlier. Interestingly enough, kethab is also used in Ezra 5:7 above (translated as "written") right before kethal (translated as "walls") is used in Ezra 5:8. Therefore, we can conclude that kethal refers to walls that are created through the writing of judgements. Even though Ezra 5:8 seems to speak of walls that can be torn down through writings (since the enemies were writing a letter to prevent the wall being built), it indirectly speaks of a wall erected through writings. Why? Because, when Darius received the enemies' letter, he ordered that the laws archive be searched to determine whether the wall had legal backing, and they found the following:

"2 And there was found at Achmetha, in the palace that is in the province of the Medes, a roll, and therein was a record thus written: 3 In the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore cubits;" (Ezra 6:2-3)

The word "written" in verse 2 above was translated from the same Aramaic verb kethab used in Ezra 5:7 and Daniel 5:5 above. Therefore, the Spirit of God is certifying that Jerusalem's walls were being erected as a result of someone's writing. This is why the enemies of God were also using kethab writing to attempt to tear it down.

The male wall

The next word after kethal in Strong's Concordance is "Kithlish" (H3798), the name of a lowlands town in Judah, which only appears once in Scripture, in the verse below:

"And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish" (Joshua 15:40)

The name "Kithlish" means "man's wall" and is derived from the words iysh meaning "man" (as opposed to "woman") and kothel meaning "wall", which we already saw above. The name "Cabbon", on the other hand, means "the builder". Therefore, we can say that "Kithlish" speaks of a wall built in the "maleness" of the Spirit. This "male" element is essential to being an effective Kittim wall builder who builds a wall that keeps unrighteousness out, for it prevents the ("female") soulish tendency to build doors into the wall that allow soulishness and unrighteousness in. A true "male wall" protects righteousness and keeps out unrighteousness with no compromise or hesitation. Having said that, a Kittim "male wall" builder will always be open to both the right-handed apostolic and the left-handed prophetic so as to prevent the wall legalistically keeping out things that should be inside the wall.

The name "Lahmam" between "Cabbon" (builders) and "Kithlish" (man's wall) in Joshua 15:40 was mistranslated from a Hebrew word whose pronunciation is closer to "Lachmas". Lachmas can be translated as "provisions" and is derived from the Hebrew word lechem meaning "bread". Both Lachmas and lechem use the same Hebrew letters, except that Lachmas has an extra samekh (ס) at the end of it. As indicated on abarim.com, the name of each letter in the Hebrew alphabet has a meaning; samekh, the name of the letter ס, means "lean upon, support, uphold" and is the verb that is used when speaking of "laying on of hands" in Scripture (in verses such as Leviticus 3:2, Leviticus 3:8, and Leviticus 4:4). Therefore, Lachmas can be translated as "bread for support".

To better understand the spiritual meaning of Lachmas, we must consider verse 5 below, which is the only verse in all of Scripture that uses the word samekh twice, translated as "uphold" and "upheld":

"1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. 2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? 3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. 4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. 5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. 6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth." (Isaiah 63:1-6)

Notice how the passage above speaks of a ruthless application of violence in order to execute the righteousness of God on Earth. The ruthlessness and "bloody" disposition required is one that most people refuse to manifest, even those who are not in the full grip of the pastoral matriarchy and who recognise its evil. This is why those who engage in this type of "bloody" disposition feel so alone and with no support from others (v5), being forced, therefore, to support or uphold themselves through the fury of the Spirit in them and the strength of their own arm (v6). Hence, the name "Lachmas" in the middle of Joshua 15:40 means that the builders represented by "Cabbon" require an infusion of "support bread" to fuel an uncommon level of ruthlessness so that these builders may be able to deal out the intense Kittim blows that are needed to produce a true "male wall" ("Kithlish"). This is why Trump has been such a failure in producing the southern-border wall that he promised so fervently during his campaign in 2015 and 2016. He lacks the "ruthlessness" of Isaiah 63:1-6 and is always willing to sell out the weak remnant when he comes across a certain level of inconvenience (as when he brazenly reneged on his promise to prosecute and incarcerate the criminal hillary clinton immediately after being elected in 2016 or when he betrayed the Kurds in Syria and largely ignored the Hong Kong and Iran protesters in 2019).

Despite Trump's bold claims of wall-building success and his (partially-valid) excuses about how the Democrats have blocked him, he has yet to build any significant amount of new wall and has only built a few symbolic miles of replacement wall. In fact, by making the false promise to build the wall from Day 1, he only encouraged a rush of illegal aliens who were bent on entering the U.S. before the wall was actually built, especially when they saw that he was dragging his feet at the start. In short, America ironically has many more illegal aliens now than it would have had without the promise of a wall. Instead of seeking people who would support him with the bread of "ruthlessness" and "intensity", Trump surrounded himself with bastards and whores (like jared kushner and ivanka trump) who do nothing but steal that bread from him every time it starts to accumulate in his heart. Instead of correcting this proclivity for surrounding himself with wrong people, Trump does nothing but act surprised when one insider after another betrays him and sells him out to the media and the Democrats. Therefore, Trump is nowhere close to a full-blown Kittim wall builder and is a constant source of disappointment and betrayal for the remnant, doing very little to lighten the heavy spiritual burden on the remnant. Trump does not measure up to the spiritual mettle required to build a true Kittim "male wall" (Daniel 5:25), regardless of what his idiotic (golden-calf) worshippers may think. Even so, cursed is anyone who attacks Trump because they perceive a measure of God's righteousness in him. Cursed are the bastard liberals in America (and their families) who attack Trump because they perceive (and loathe) the spiritual remnant substance that upholds him and that allowed him to occupy the White House in the first place (even if Trump keeps betraying that substance day after day).

{As a parenthesis, it is worth noting that the Democ-rat-ic opposition in the House of Representatives is not a valid justification for Trump's wall-building delay. America idiotically handed the House to the rats only until 2018, meaning that Trump had 2 years to put legitimate pressure on the whore paul ryan and traitor-turtle mcConnell to either gain the necessary funding or at least expose them enough to trigger the support and election of less mushy Republicans in 2018. Instead, he kept praising ryan and mcConnell and trying to work with them until they effectively handed power over to the Democ-rats in 2018. Mind you, Trump's harsh criticism of ryan now that ryan is out of power, is as pointless as injecting medicine into a cadaver. Besides this, Trump has always had the option to fund the wall through the military budget, as he has clearly proved recently, meaning that he has never had (and will never have) an excuse not to have built most of the southern wall by the end of his first term. To make matters worse, it seems as if little jared kushner is now in charge of the wall's construction (according to dailymail.co.uk), which certifies Trump's wilful spiritual failure regarding the wall.}

The fact that the cities in Joshua 15:40 were assigned to Judah has spiritual significance. As we have shared before, each of the 12 tribes of Israel corresponds to one of the 12 "racial" groups on Earth, with the tribe of Judah corresponding with the Jewish race and, hence, with the Hebrews and the nation of Israel. Therefore, Judah in this context speaks of the God of Israel, the "male" of war (Exodus 15:3), and, as we have shared before, the God of Israel is not the effeminate, soulish "God" promoted by the matriarchal Church. The God of the Hebrews, the One True God, has a "bloody", more "violent" nature that Shemites are more familiar with but that "civilised" Japhethites are very uncomfortable with (and Hamites openly abhor).

Therefore, the town names in Joshua 15:40 indicate that you need "builders" ("Cabbon") with a provision of "ruthlessness bread" ("Lachmas") to produce a Kittim "man's wall" ("Kithlish"). That "ruthlessness bread", which is often self-provided, requires an acceptance of the "ruthless" and "violent" God of Israel, God of the Hebrews, a "male" of war.

Kittim's permanent marker

The next word after "Kithlish" in Strong's Concordance is the Hebrew verb katham (H3799) meaning "to carve or engrave, to inscribe indelibly"; this word only appears once in Scripture, in verse 22 of the passage below, translated as "marked":

"21 Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me? 22 For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD." (Jeremiah 2:21-22)

Notice how katham is used to speak of a permanent marking on a person as a judgement for a person's terrible degeneration. This means that Kittim writers have the authority to write judgements that become an indelible mark on people's lives. Said another way, Kittim writers have the authority and willingness to write entries on people's "permanent record" when a person has manifested a permanent and deliberate degeneration that has distorted all the beauty and gifts that God deposited in him or her. Said another way, Kittim strikers have the authority and willingness to strike blows that leave permanent scars of shame on those who have callously gone down a path of degeneration.

As we have shared before, "wine" is most directly related to the evangelistic endowment, and the corruption of the evangelistic endowment leads to the Amorite spirit of pride. Therefore, the reference to a "vine" in Jeremiah 2:21-22 above means that the authority to etch these permanent scars of shame is especially present when judging people imbued with Amorite arrogance.

Kittim gold

The next word after katham in Strong's Concordance is the noun kethem (H3800) meaning "gold, pure gold". It is interesting to note that, as indicated on biblestudy.org, the Spirit of God uses 7 Hebrew words in Scripture to refer to "gold", and there are verses where 2 of these words are used at the same time.

Apostolic gold

A quick meditation on the 7 Hebrew words used for "gold" reveals that they correspond to the 7 Spirits of God and to the 5 ministerial endowments:

Word Strong number Usage Spirit of God Ministry Brief explanation
zahab H2091 Generic word for gold Spirit of Perfection
(Sardis)
Teacher The teacher endowment is the one most directly related to the "earth" and the natural realm. Hence, it correlates with the generic word for gold that is most commonly used throughout Scripture and that essentially "categorises" gold, differentiating it from other metals in the natural realm.
paz H6337 Pure and refined gold (and God's Glory) Spirit of Prosperity
(Laodicea)
--- Being the word that refers to gold in its most pure and refined state, it points to the most "valuable" form of gold and, hence, to prosperity
betser H1220 Broken-up gold (when dug up and cut off from the ground) Spirit of Prophecy
(Smyrna)
Prophet The prophetic endowment is the one most directly related to "being broken" and sacrificially dying (i.e. being cut off from the Earth) for the Lord's sake
charuts H2742 Gold chopped into pieces Spirit of Service
(Thyatira)
Pastor Unlike the other words for "gold", this word is also used to mean other things that seem completely unrelated to gold, e.g. it is often used to refer to a "diligent" person. Hence, this word speaks of the faithful execution of one's appointed duties, something that a good server is wont to doing.

The word's connection to "chopped" gold points to a person who can "chop himself up", which points to someone who can multitask, a trait very common in people with the Spirit of Service (consider, for example, how good bartenders can handle multiple incoming orders without becoming confused).
kethem H3800 Pure gold as originally mined Spirit of Wisdom and Judgements
(Ephesus)
Apostle This word refers to gold in its original, "foundational" state, and the endowment most directly related to origins and foundations is the apostolic endowment of wisdom and judgements.
segor H5458 Gold as a solid Spirit of Head Authority and Conquest
(Pergamos)
Evangelist This word emphasises gold's "rock solidity" and inherent strength and is very similar to the Hebrew word sagan meaning "ruler, governor". Hence, it points to the "strong" evangelistic endowment of conquest and Head Authority.
dehab H1722 Aramaic form of zahab Spirit of Dreams and Visions
(Philadelphia)
--- Being the only non-Hebrew word for "gold", it is the "smallest" and "poorest" of them all, thereby pointing to the "poor villager" Spirit of Dreams and Visions.

This word appears 5 times in Ezra and 18 times in Daniel; 4 of those 18 times are in the context of Nebuchadnezzar's dream of an image (tselem) with a head of gold in Daniel 2, which emphasises dehab 's subtle connection to God's Spirit of Dreams and Visions.

Interestingly, dehab is used 7 times in the next chapter, Daniel 3, to refer to a large golden image (tselem) made by Nebuchadnezzar, which was an evil manifestation of the image Nebuchadnezzar had seen in his dream. This subtly points to how those with the Spirit of Dreams and Visions have their hearts open to the literal manifestation of their dreams and visions (even if it was a misguided manifestation in this case).
* The list of words and the usage column above were derived from biblestudy.org

The word kethem (the word near "Kittim" meaning "gold" that originated the table above) is derived from the verb katham meaning "to carve, engrave" that we studied immediately above. Therefore, we can say that kethem refers to gold in its pure state as it appears when it is carved out from the ground (i.e. mined). This connection to katham reinforces kethem's connection to the apostolic endowment indicated in the table above (since, as we saw earlier, katham is a strongly apostolic word). Hence, we once again see the strong apostolic nature of the Hebrew and Aramaic words around "Kittim".

Golden transformative blows

To better understand the spiritual meaning of kethem, we shall focus on one of its 9 appearances, which happens to be the "middle" one, i.e. the 5th appearance of kethem in Scripture:

"As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear." (Proverbs 25:12)

The verse above is one of the examples where two different Hebrew words are used by the Spirit of God to refer to "gold". The first "gold" above was translated from zahab, the word most commonly used for "gold" in Scripture, and the second "gold" was translated from kethem (translated as "fine gold" to attempt to differentiate it from the first "gold").

As we saw in the table above, zahab is most directly related to the teacher endowment. Due to their methodical and structured nature, teachers make the best students, especially because of their inherent willingness to submit to others to achieve a goal. Therefore, the "earring of zahab gold" in Proverbs 25:12 above refers to the ear of a teacher who submissively sits under another teacher to listen and learn from him or her. Usually, a teacher experiences the most "progressive" learning when listening to an apostolic source (either the apostle himself or someone who has himself learnt from the apostle). This explains why the word "wise" appears in Proverbs 25:12, since the apostolic endowment is the one most directly related to wisdom.

The word "ornament" in the phrase "ornament of gold [kethem]" in Proverbs 25:12 was translated from the Hebrew word chaliy, which has the connotation of something that has been polished. Interestingly enough, chaliy is only used in one other verse of Scripture, where it is translated as "jewels":

"How beautiful are thy feet with shoes, O prince's daughter! the joints of thy thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman" (Songs 7:1)

The word "joints" was mistranslated from the Hebrew word chammuwq, which literally means "curve, curving". Thus, the verse above is referring to something that has been polished into a smooth, pleasant shape. The word "thighs" was translated from yarek, which is also used in Genesis 32:25 to refer to the place where the angel of the Lord "touched" Jacob when He wrestled with him in Penuel:

"And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him" (Genesis 32:25)

The word "touched" above was translated from the Hebrew verb naga, which can be translated as "strike" (and is translated as such in the KJV in Exodus 12:22); naga can also be translated as "beaten" or "defeated" (as in Joshua 8:15 in the KJV). Therefore, naga has a connotation stronger than a simple "touch". We can therefore say that the angel of the Lord literally struck Jacob's thigh during the struggle, and the blow was strong enough to leave Jacob hobbling when all was said and done (Genesis 32:31). As the Lord indicates in Genesis 32:28, Jacob's struggle with the angel of the Lord at Penuel also resulted in Jacob being transformed into a new man, to the point that he was given a new name, "Israel".

From all of this we can conclude that, as Kittim deals his blows of "wise reproof", he helps to polish the nature of others, and he works a transformation in their nature that allows the "gold" in them to shine forth and be manifested. Said another way, wherever Kittim is allowed to strike his blows in righteousness, apostolic kethem gold is produced in abundance.

Striking arrogance to strike gold

Before proceeding to the next Hebrew word in Strong's Concordance that is near "Kittim", we must consider another passage where kethem , the word for "gold" studied above, is used in Scripture:

"10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. 11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. 12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. 13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger." (Isaiah 13:10-13)

The word "man" in the phrase "I will make a man" of verse 12 was translated from the Hebrew word enowsh, which is subtly related to "strong evangelists" in Scripture. On the other hand, the word "man" in "even a man" in the same verse was translated from the Hebrew word adam, which points in Scripture to man's "earthliness", i.e. to "natural man". The phrase "fine gold" in verse 12 above was translated from the Hebrew word paz, which, as we saw earlier, is most directly related to God's Spirit of Laodicea, the Spirit of Prosperity. On the other hand, the phrase "golden wedge" in that same verse was translated from kethem, which is most directly related to God's Spirit of Ephesus, the Spirit of Wisdom and Judgements. Notice that the preceding verse, verse 11, speaks of God punishing the world for its evil and the wicked for their iniquity, striking down the arrogance of the proud. This means that Kittim's judgement strikes are most intended to target the arrogant who refuse to submit to God and who try to assert their strongholds of unrighteousness and iniquity on Earth, resisting the inflow of God's Kingdom. When we deal out Kittim blows against the arrogant on Earth, we further the end of unrighteousness and iniquity, which allows the "polished gold" (kethem) of natural man (adam) to shine forth, making it possible for the "prosperous gold" (paz) value of man's evangelistic nature to abound. Therefore, those who fight against these Kittim blows against the proud Amorites are actually fighting to prevent the manifestation of these 2 types of gold in man.

Colourful Kittim

The next word after kethem in Strong's Concordance is the Hebrew noun kethoneth (H3801), which means "tunic, undergarment, coat". Its first appearance is in Genesis 3:21, which describes how God made "coats of skins" for Adam and his wife to cover their nakedness shortly after their fall. Between this verse and Exodus 28, kethoneth only reappears in Genesis 37 when describing the "coat of many colours" that Israel made for Joseph:

"Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours" (Genesis 37:3)

Notice that the Spirit of God uses the name "Israel" instead of "Jacob", meaning that Jacob's decision to make Joseph a kethoneth of colours was one that he made in his renewed spirit nature (the one forged in his Penuel struggle, where he acquired the name "Israel"), as opposed to his previous fallen and manipulative soulish nature.

As we shared above, in between the garden of Eden (Genesis 3:21) and the post-Egypt description of priestly attire (Exodus 28:4), the Spirit of God reserves His use of kethoneth for Joseph only, in Genesis 37. This has spiritual significance. Joseph was a dreamer, and the narration in Genesis 37 revolves around Joseph's dream regarding his brothers, which precipitated the series of events that led to Joseph and the entire people of Israel being in Egypt, which then led to their exodus from Egypt and all the events narrated in the book of Exodus prior to Exodus 28:4. All of this points to God's Spirit of Philadelphia, the Spirit of Dreams and Visions, especially since the series of events triggered by Joseph's dream enabled the process that transformed Israel from a single family of 12 children to a large nation of people that has forever affected the history of mankind (for the Spirit of Dreams and Visions prompts you to believe in the possibility of achieving great things even in the midst of smallness and poverty). Hence, we once again see the subtle connection between Kittim and the Spirit of Philadelphia.

The fact that Joseph's kethoneth (i.e. tunic, coat) was multi-coloured has spiritual significance. As we have seen so far, Kittim is strongly related to apostolic judgement blows, and, wherever the apostolic endowment is allowed to flourish, wisdom abounds, and, where wisdom abounds, simplistic thinking disintegrates and complexity can prosper in a helpful way. This means that, as Kittim dishes out his apostolic judgement blows, the world around him goes from a simple black-and-white universe to an intricate multi-coloured one with many fascinating layers. This is why the multi-coloured rainbow appeared over the Earth after the mighty apostolic judgement blow known as "Noah's flood" (Genesis 9:11-13).

After typing the paragraph above, this writer suddenly felt prompted by the Spirit to learn about the connection between Italy and colour television. As it turns out, during the late 1960s and early 1970s, whilst most of Europe was adopting the "PAL" system, a colour-television encoding system developed by a German, Italy had developed a system of its own, the "ISA" system, developed by the Italian company Indesit (as indicated on wikipedia.org). Italy debated whether to officially adopt the PAL system or its own ISA system, which led to a delay in the adoption of PAL, for which reason Italy was one of the last European nations to adopt PAL in 1976-77, some 9 years after it began to be used. Interestingly enough, the first countries to begin using PAL were the United Kingdom and West Germany (in that order) in 1967. As we have shared before, both the United Kingdom and Germany are strongly apostolic, which reinforces colour's connection to apostolic Kittim. The fact that the Italian system was not the one that became generally adopted in Europe is more due to the fact that Italians, the literal sons of Kittim, are sons of Javan, meaning that they are "Latin" and from the "pastoral" branch of Europe, making them less likely to father the complex apostolic technology that was developed by the British and the Germans. Why? Because the British and the Germans are more directly influenced by the Nordics, who, in turn, descend from the "apostolic" European branch of Gomer. Even so, the fact that the literal sons of Kittim developed a viable colour system of their own (and seriously considered adopting it for themselves) emphasises the "multi-colour" nature inherent in their Kittim DNA.

Kittim Marciano

So far, we have meditated on the 14 Hebrew/Aramaic words around the word "Kittim" in Strong's Concordance, the 7 before "Kittim" and the 7 after. As we have done this, we have discovered the spiritual qualities embodied in Kittim, qualities that are clearly evidenced in the history of the Italians, which confirms that Italians are the literal sons of Kittim in the natural. Let us now consider the meaning of the name "Kittim" itself and consider how it relates to Italians.

The name "Kittim" literally means "bruisers", which correlates with the spiritual connection between Kittim and "beatings" or "striking blows" that we saw above. The word "bruisers", however, illustrates another subtle quality that becomes evident as one studies the Italian people.

To be a "bruiser", you must possess an inherently "tough" nature, a nature that is not "soft-hearted" or excessively "merciful" and a nature that is willing to resist the "counter-brusing" of those whom they are bruising. This explains why the only undefeated heavyweight champion of the world in boxing history is Rocky Marciano, an American of Italian descent, as indicated on wikipedia.org. Marciano's record was 49-0-0, and he held the undisputed heavyweight title between 1952 and 1956, successfully defending it 6 times and winning all but 6 of his 49 bouts by knock-out. This is a remarkable fact, especially when you consider how heavyweight boxing has been overwhelmingly dominated by blacks. It is even more remarkable when you consider that his dominance did not stem from an unusually large physical size. As indicated on wikipedia.org, he was not even 6 feet tall (5 ft. 10½ in.), he weighed less than 200 lbs. (never weighing above 192+ lbs. during his career, according to boxingnewsonline.net), and he had the shortest reach in heavyweight boxing history (68 inches).

Rocky Marciano's actual name was Rocco Francis Marchegiano (the "ch" is pronounced like a soft "k" and the "g" is pronounced like a soft "g"). Because of the problems people had pronouncing his Italian surname, his handler suggested that he use "Rocky Mack" as his professional name, but he rejected the surname "Mack" because it did not sound Italian enough, and he eventually decided on "Marciano". The decision not to go with "Mack" was of God, for He was called to personify Kittim's "bruiser" nature.

It is widely agreed that the man who came the closest to defeating Marciano was Roland La Starza, another American of Italian descent, as indicated on wikipedia.org. Marciano beat La Starza in a split decision with the voting going 5-4, 4-5, and 5-5. Despite the tie in the votes, the decision was awarded to Marciano on a supplemental point system used in both New York and Massachusetts (the 2 fighters' home states). The fact that it took another person of Italian descent to almost defeat Marciano emphasises the "Kittim bruiser" anointing on Marciano and on Italians in general. Interestingly, both Marciano and La Starza were undefeated before their bout, with La Starza's record at 37-0 and Marciano's at 45-0. Despite the loss to Marciano, La Starza finished his career with an impressive record of his own, 57 wins and 9 losses.

As you may know, Rocky Marciano inspired another American of Italian descent, Sylvester Stallone, to create the film character of Rocky Balboa, a fighter from Philadelphia who rises to greatness out of anonymity and poverty. This emphasises the spiritual connection that we saw earlier between Kittim and God's Spirit of Philadelphia, the Spirit of Dreams and Visions. This connection is emphasised by the fact that Marciano became world heavyweight champion in Philadelphia, where he defeated "Jersey Joe Walcott" even though Walcott knocked him down in the first round and built a points advantage throughout the fight. Marciano achieved his unlikely victory over Walcott by knocking him out in the 13th round, landing a right hook that left Walcott motionless long after he had been counted out. The fact that he took the title from a man whose professional name was "Joe" is no coincidence either, since it points to Joseph the dreamer and to God's Spirit of Dreams and Visions once again. It is interesting to consider that Jersey Joe Walcott's real name was Arnold Raymond Cream, and he chose to call himself "Jersey Joe Walcott" because he admired a welterweight champion from Barbados named Joe Walcott. He added the word "Jersey" at the beginning of his name to distinguish himself from the original Joe Walcott, as indicated on wikipedia.org. It is as if God prepared him to be the person from whom a son of Kittim would later take the world title by inspiring him to adopt the name "Joe".

As some of you may know, Marciano died at an early age, on 31 August 1969, one day shy of his 46th birthday. As indicated on wikipedia.org, Marciano was a passenger on a small private plane, travelling with two other persons: the pilot and the son of a former boxer and childhood friend. It was night-time, and they were on their way to Des Moines, Iowa, when the plane encountered bad weather. The pilot attempted to land in a small airfield outside of Newton, Iowa, but he hit a tree 2 miles from the runway. All 3 persons aboard died instantly, and Marciano's life was over, exactly on the last day of his 45th year. The childhood friend whose son died with Marciano was "Lew Farrell", whose real name was actually "Louis Fratto" (as indicated on wikipedia.org). For some reason, Fratto switched from an Italian surname to an Irish surname when he was a boxer, and this switch symbolises a separation from the Kittim anointing, at least in the positive sense of that anointing. As it turns out, Lew Farrell was a labour racketeer and organised-crime figure in Chicago and Des Moines, and the reason for Marciano's trip to Des Moines was to give a speech in Des Moines on behalf of Lew Farrell's son (the one who died with him in the crash). This illustrates the fact that, despite his God-enabled success, Marciano was never able to break childhood soul ties with the unrighteous elements of his Italian heritage, for which reason God became a Kittim bruiser against him, striking his plane with a tree and then knocking him out permanently with the ground of Iowa.

It is interesting that God struck him down from the air in a place near Newton, since Newton is the name most directly associated with gravity. It is also interesting that He did not allow him to reach Des Moines, since "Des Moines" literally means "from the least" in French, which implicitly points to the rise of dreamer Philadelphians from a position of smallness to one of greatness. It is as if God was judging Marciano for dishonouring the "Philadelphian" Kittim rise that He had enabled for him. The level of dishonour was heightened by the fact that Des Moines had been Italian Louis Fratto's little "kingdom", since he had been the "mob boss" there for many years. In a sense, Marciano's death served to illustrate what has gone wrong with Italians' usage of their Kittim anointing. Despite the sadness of Marciano's end, it is still interesting that God allowed it to happen in Iowa, since, as you may know, Iowa is now strongly associated with the 1989 film "Field of Dreams", which yet again points to God's Spirit of Dreams and Visions.

To summarise, Rocky Marciano is a very clear manifestation of the Kittim bruiser anointing that we as believers are to manifest and emulate. We are to be relentless bruising strikers who release uncontainable blows against those who defiantly oppose God and against the structures they erect. God raised up Rocky Marciano so that we could see a materialisation of what a true "Kittim" believer is to look like in the spirit realm.

Tough-as-nails Kittim

The Kittim "bruiser" nature exhibited by Rocky Marciano is also evident in other elements of Italian life and culture. For example, Italians, who have won 4 football (a.k.a. "soccer") World Cup titles (in 1934, 1938, 1982, and 2006), are known for their tough and physical style, a style that is centred around "Catenaccio". As explained on wikipedia.org, Catenaccio (which means "door bolt") is a highly organised tactical scheme that emphasises a backline defence geared towards nullifying the other team's offence. Even though Catenaccio has had different implementations and is technically not used much any more (at least as the term is officially defined), the spirit and mindset it embodies has remained at the heart of Italian football from the beginning.

This writer would dare say that Italians are the best "tacklers" in the world. If you are familiar with football (a.k.a. "soccer"), you will know that tackles are a defensive move where the defender slides (like a baseball player into a base) to push the ball away from the player possessing it. Tackles constitute the most "violent" legal action in football ("soccer") and can cause great harm to the attacker if done incorrectly. A tackler must be fast and aggressive, especially if the attacker is dribbling the ball at great speed, and he must be able to strike the ball in his slide with the same efficiency that a boxer lands a blow on an opponent's fast-moving face. The tackler must do all of this whilst placing his own body in a vulnerable position as he slides under the cleats of a fast-running attacker. In short, it takes great physical and mental toughness to be a consistently good tackler, and Italians constantly show themselves to be the best at tackling, and clean tackling at that (i.e. tackling that takes the ball away from the opponent without hitting him first). This contributes to Italians always having a strong defence.

Italians' propensity for playing a tough and physical brand of football dates back many centuries. As described on wikipedia.org, "calcio fiorentino", or "calcio storico", is a form of football (a.k.a. "soccer") and rugby that originated in Florence, Italy during the 16th-century. In calcio storico, which is still played today, each team has 27 players and no substitutions are allowed, even for badly injured players. As you may discern from videos like the one in this YouTube link (and from the gruesome images on this dailymail.co.uk article), calcio storico can be rather violent, often seeming like a mixture of football, rugby, and bare-knuckle boxing, and it is not for the faint of heart.

Calcio storico is believed to be a revival of the ancient Roman game of "harpastum". As explained on wikipedia.org, harpastum was played with a small ball as hard as a modern softball, and, even though little is known about the game's exact rules, it is known that it was rather violent, with players often being knocked down to the ground, and it is also known that the sport required much speed, agility, and physical toughness. This emphasises how the "bruising toughness" in the sons of Kittim can be traced back to their beginnings.

As described in detail on knowtheromans.co.uk, soldiers who joined the Roman army knew that they were in for 25 tough (but potentially rewarding) years. This is because the Roman army systematically endeavoured to instil discipline and toughness in its soldiers, which helped turn them into a fearsome and formidable force that ruled over a vast empire for hundreds of years, subduing their enemies and establishing Roman law across new and strange lands. Thus, the Roman army's consistent performance over hundreds of years once again emphasises Kittim's inherent tough, "bruiser" nature.

"Machiavellian" Kittim

Though negative, another example of Italian toughness and "ruthlessness" is the infamous Niccolò Machiavelli, who was born in the 15th century in Firenze (i.e. Florence), the same place where calcio storico was born. As you may know, Machiavelli is known around the world for his 1513 book titled "The Prince". As described on wikipedia.org, "The Prince" is a book steeped in amoral pragmatism that includes "teachings" from a philosophical perspective on how and when to use immoral cruelty and violence to attain and secure power. In other words, "The Prince", in essence, lays out a systematic framework of principles to apply cruelty and violence in order to have power. The fact that it was an Italian, and not a person from another race, who has become known worldwide for such a philosophical work emphasises not only the undercurrent of apostolic laws and judgements in Kittim but his inherent toughness, a toughness that, when untamed by God's righteousness, can lead to a brutally evil application of cruelty.

Machiavelli criticised how so-called "Christianity" had focused so much on the next world that it had handed the present world over to evil. This illustrates a reality that Kittim is quick to discern but that the matriarchal Church is resistant to. Because of Kittim's apostolic underpinnings and his natural inclination to "strike blows" and "bruise", he knows that matriarchal "sensitivity" and "restraint" allows evil to grow unhindered and that man must strike forceful blows against it to contain it and then destroy it. Unfortunately, Machiavelli was only aware of matriarchal (and hypocritical) "Christianity", for which reason he rejected it completely and swung over to an unrighteous extreme, unaware of the male God of war (Exodus 15:3) that the soul matriarchy constantly endeavours to hide. The barrier that Canaanite pastors and Girgashite teachers have erected to hide the true male God requires Kittim warriors who will "ruthlessly" strike it down with lethal blows that will seem "evil" and "unGodly" to the unrighteous soul. Interestingly, the surname "Machiavelli" means "to battle and demolish" (according to names.org), which is what those in the Kittim anointing do to this matriarchal barrier so that a righteous new wall can be built.

The Ashur prosperity mafia

Now that we have meditated on the meaning of the word "Kittim" itself, let us consider how the name Kittim is used in Scripture.

After its initial appearance in Genesis 10:4 where the sons of Javan are listed, the name "Kittim" next appears in the following verse, which contains the last recorded words of Balaam's last prophecy to (and against) Balak:

"And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever" (Numbers 24:24)

Notice that the ships of Kittim shall bring affliction to two groups of people, Asshur and Eber. Therefore, we must consider what "Asshur" and "Eber" represent in the spirit.

The name "Asshur" is the Hebrew name for Assyria, and it means "a step". It is derived from the verb ashar meaning "to go on, advance, make progress" and can be associated with the concept of "happiness". Thus, Asshur has the connotation of happiness and prosperity. In a negative sense, therefore, the name "Asshur" (and the nation of Assyria) points to those ensnared by the "gospel" of prosperity and happiness, which includes both the sons of Joel Osteen and the sons of Kenneth Copeland at the time of this writing.

Those who believe in the "gospel" of prosperity are constantly standing in front of the altar, declaring passages of Scripture and using them to demand things that they need and want from God. Unlike narrow-gate believers, who endeavour to filter all their requests through the narrow gate of God's perfect will, the followers of "prosperity" filter their requests through the wide gate of their own personal desires and interests, which are all weighed down by earthliness and temporality. In other words, the followers of "prosperity" do not care about God's eternal purposes. They have no interest for the desires that are deep within God's heart. They only care about what pertains to them and their immediate family and friends, turning God into a cash machine where Scripture becomes the cash card that they can use to demand withdrawals at any time.

Mind you, this writer is not against prosperity or against the idea that prosperity will ensue in places where God's will is allowed to flourish. In fact, prosperity is to be the natural and expected result when one submits to God's righteousness, and that righteous prosperity can only be reduced in the natural realm if there are entrenched forces opposed to God or if a voluntary prophetic sacrifice is being made in order to further God's purposes. Unfortunately, the worshippers of prosperity do not understand this sacrificial component. They would never be willing to surrender their "well-deserved" prosperity in order to defeat the enemy and further God's spiritual purposes. Like the rich young man that Yeshua encountered (Matthew 19:16-30), they would rather cling to their riches than complete their righteousness. They believe that Yeshua's sacrifice was "price enough" and that our "duty" is to now make good use of the cash card that His sacrifice has made available for us. The closest that these believers come to "sacrifice" is to send "seed offerings" to certain ministries, but only because those seed offerings come from their overflow and because those offerings are more like stock-market investments that are "guaranteed" to immediately produce more wealth and allow them to make larger withdrawals from the "God cash machine".

Just as they do not understand the "sacrifice component", the worshippers of prosperity do not understand the fact that the entrenched enemies of God can actually limit their prosperity. To them, speaking such words is to confess that "satan is greater than God". They believe that, the stronger the enemy, the stronger our faith must be so that "our stronger God" will give us what we want. These believers do not understand the 3-will principle that we have shared before. They do not understand that other men's will cannot be indiscriminately overridden by our faith (or even by God). They therefore turn into spiritual mafia enforcers, constantly bullying and extorting both God and men to get what they want.

As some of you may have noticed, the Ashur mafia are, in essence, the followers of Balaam during the black-horse stage, the believers who use prophetic and evangelistic grace for Girgashite, short-term ends that yield natural wealth and short-term emotional experiences. Thus, it is no coincidence that Balaam mentions Ashur in the last words that Scripture records of him. It must be remembered that, in Numbers 22 through 24, Balaam speaks truth because he is willingly under His God-given prophetic anointing (after some reproof from his ass). Unfortunately, after giving his 3 prophecies against the enemies of God, the allure of temporal prosperity was so strong that he willingly ignored everything he had just uttered in the anointing, and he succumbed to Balak, thereby becoming an enemy of God and a tool to derail God's people.

As a side note, there is a measure of "truth" to what the Ashur Prosperity Mafia believe. Yes, our faith can always overcome the enemy, no matter how strong he is, but it must be in the context of God's righteousness, what God desires, and the inherent authority of man's will. Because of this, that faith must involve a willingness to pay a sacrificial price when necessary, and it must be subservient to God's will and judgements. If the Ashur Prosperity Mafia were half as adamant and determined to enforce God's eternal purposes as they are about achieving their temporal interests, the manifestation of God's Glory on Earth would be much closer, much broader, and much less costly to the remnant than it is now.

As a second side note, it must be emphasised that one of the 7 Spirits of God is indeed the Spirit of Laodicea, the Spirit of Prosperity. Therefore, it is correct to say that God is a God of Prosperity, but one must remember that the Spirit of Laodicea, the Spirit of Prosperity, is the 7th and last Spirit to speak in Revelation chapters 2 and 3. This is because God's Prosperity comes at the end of a long and arduous process, and, even though His prosperity will always have tangible manifestations along the way, its final manifestation at the end of God's process achieves a width, length, height, and profundity that goes far, far, far beyond what the Ashur Prosperity Mafia can ever achieve, regardless of how many spiritual kneecaps they beat to a pulp.

The Eber mafia

As we saw above, Numbers 24:24 prophesies that the ships of Kittim shall afflict both Ashur and Eber. Now that we have a better understanding of who Ashur are, let us consider Eber.

The name Eber, or "Heber", means "the region beyond", and is the root of the word "Hebrew". The first time that the name "Eber" or "Heber" is mentioned in Scripture is in Genesis 10:21-25, where Eber is said to be a descendant of Shem. Even though Eber was Shem's great grandson, his relevance in the Shemite branch of humanity is so strong that Genesis 10:21 calls Shem, "the father of all the children of Eber". As described in Luke 3:34-35, Abraham is a descendant of Eber (6 generations removed).

Two parts: a son and his brother

This is how Scripture describes the direct descendants of Eber:

"And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan" (Genesis 10:25)

Notice that, instead of simply saying something like "Eber begat Peleg and Joktan", as is done throughout Genesis 10, the Spirit of God goes out of His way to state the number of sons that Eber had ("and unto Eber were born 2 sons"), and He then proceeds to make a comment about the first son, Peleg, before quickly mentioning the other one, Joktan. Notice also that, instead of saying, "and Eber's other son was Joktan", the Spirit of God says, "[Peleg's] brother's name is Joktan", thereby describing Joktan in terms of his brother instead of linking him directly to his father. It is also interesting that the Spirit of God explains Peleg's name by saying that, "in his days was the earth divided". All of this emphasises a "duality" in Eber where the first side is more relevant and the second side somehow stems from (or divides itself from) the first side.

Considering all of the above, we can better discern the broader meaning of Eber. Because of his explicit relevance in the Shemite branch (as established by the Spirit in Genesis 10:21), we can see Eber as a reflection of a duality within the sons of Shem per se. As the vast majority of people would admit, the sons of Shem have 2 main branches from a cultural perspective, the Jews and the Arabs, and 2 branches from a religious perspective, the Jews and the Muslims. This second division is much more applicable, since the vast majority of non-Jewish Shemites (which includes the Arabs and the Persians) are Muslim. In other words, the 2 sons of Eber can be taken as "the Jewish Peleg" and the "Arabic Joktan" or as the "Jewish Peleg" and the "Muslim Joktan" (and it can even be said that the non-Jewish Shemites can in turn be divided into "Arabic Peleg" and "Persian Joktan").

Eber the zealot

The fact that the word "Hebrew" is derived from the name "Eber" means that, as we consider the spiritual meaning of Eber, we must place an emphasis on people with a high measure of religious zealotry, as can be discerned when one meditates on passages such as the following:

"4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: 5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless." (Philippians 3:4-6)

[Notice that Paul very deliberately uses the term "Hebrew" as a label of religious zeal, not simply as a race or nationality]

From all of the above, we can conclude that Eber points to those with a strong religious zealotry and who can essentially be divided into zealous Jews ("Peleg") and zealous Muslims ("Joktan"). Since Eber is mentioned in a negative sense in Numbers 24:24, we can say that Numbers 24:24 emphasises the more negative of the 2 branches, which, in this case would be zealous Muslims (in case of any doubt on this, consider the last time that zealous Jews flew huge passenger planes into massive skyscrapers or the last time that zealous Jews raped and beheaded foreigners, videotaping it all to prove to the world that they "meant business"). Even so, the more relevant branch of Eber, i.e. the Peleg zealous Jews, are not absolved from judgement in Numbers 24:24, as you will hopefully discern by the end of this section.

When one meditates on the actions of evil Eber, i.e. zealous Muslims, it becomes clear that they also manifest a mafia spirit, thuggishly imposing their beliefs on others, and literally beating to death those who dare to oppose their tyranny. Even though they never respect the beliefs of others, they violently demand that their beliefs be treated with extraordinary reverence. If you have any doubts, consider what happens if anyone dares to so much as draw a cartoon of more-ham-ed and contrast that with the Christians' reaction when a bastard moron puts a cross on a urinal and calls it "art". When muslim Ebers invade a European town, they demand (and with great success) that they be free to impose their own religious laws on previously secular neighbourhoods, just as when the mafia impose their own rules and taxes on a terrified neighbourhood, rules and taxes that operate independently of the legitimate rules and taxes that should be followed.

It must be said that, though less violent and tyrannical than their muslim "Joktan" counterparts, the "Jewish Peleg" branch of negative Eber is also guilty of imposing laws on top of the laws that need to be followed. And, just like their "muslim Joktan" counterparts, they often show little to no interest in obeying the laws that are outside of the artificial laws that they so harshly impose on themselves. Once they step outside of the immediate realm of their own religious laws, the devious and trickster "Jacob"ite side of "Jewish Peleg" arises, and that is when he usually degrades into immorality, thievery, and scamming whenever he can get away with it (à la Bernie Madoff, saul alinksy, and hugh hefner). Just as much blessing has come to the world through the Jewish sons of Abraham, many of the most destructive philosophies and ideologies have emerged from "Jewish Peleg" (e.g. karl marx and sigmund freud), for which reason the Jewish people have much judgement accumulated against them, hanging over them like a dark cloud that will strike a multitude of lightnings against their mafia-like behaviour. Cursed are they, for the subtlety of their mafia behaviour does not shield them from the wrath of the God of Israel. May the blessing of Abraham be stripped from them, and may they perish in naked shame like filthy Gentiles that are burnt like rubbish outside the city walls, for they profane the name of the God of Israel, and they persist in being unfaithful, even when God reiterates His faithfulness to them in the midst of their unfaithfulness.

The counter-mafia mafia

Two sides of the mafia

So far, we have established that Ashur and Eber in Numbers 24:24 represent the following:

  • Ashur points to the sons of Balaam that act like the mafia in their pursuit of earthly prosperity and happiness
  • Eber points to those imbued with a religious zealotry that causes them to act like the mafia to artificially impose their artificial laws in order to aggrandise themselves

Even though there are many different manifestations of Ashur and Eber at varying degrees, it can be said that the "main" manifestation of Ashur are the "prosperity, name-it-and-claim-it" believers who follow Balaamites such as Kenneth Copeland and Joel Osteen. It must be said, however, that most of the leaders in the "prosperity gospel" started off well, sincerely seeking God and embracing His red horse, but they unfortunately got lost in the black-horse wilderness and became seekers of self and temporal power. And, as this happened, they deformed into sneaky manipulators and into a mafia mob that constantly extorts God and their fellow man to get the wealth and power that they want.

On the other hand, it can be said that the "main" manifestation of Eber are the "Joktan muslims" that act like a mafia that violently bully others into embracing their false laws and accepting them as the true source of power and authority. To a lesser degree, the zealous "Peleg" Orthodox Jews and their relatives are also a destructive manifestation of the same mafia behaviour, imposing artificial and unnecessary laws on the people immediately around them and using deceitful trickery and manipulation to extort and steal from others. Because of the spiritual dependence that Joktan has on Peleg, it can be said that much of the spiritual power that the muslim mafia wield actually stems from the existence of the Jewish mafia. In other words, were it not for the Jewish mafia that have persisted for so many centuries, the muslim mafia would be very weak and would not be able to unleash the destruction that it does today. That increases the Jewish mafia's accountability in the eyes of God, even if their brand of mafia relies more on trickery than on violence.

Hence, we can see that Numbers 24:24 is a word of judgement against the spiritual "mafia" in its two fundamental manifestations, the "prosperity-gospel" Ashur and the "zealously bullyish" Eber. It is interesting, therefore, that those assigned by God to afflict the "mafia" are the sons of Kittim, who, in the natural realm, are the Italians. Thus, it is no coincidence that the concept of "mafia" is so directly associated with Italians.

The unexpected antidote

The question then arises, Why would God use the very people who are so associated with mafias to fight unGodly mafias? Because, in some cases, you must fight fire with fire. As you may know from watching mobster films and dealing with bullies in your daily life, you cannot deal with mobsters using reasoned arguments or kind and gentle words. Anyone approaching the mafia with a flower in his hair and a "peace-sign" T-shirt will either be laughed off, seduced into adherence to them, or beaten into silence if he refuses to go away. The only language that the mafia understand is the language of forceful "violence" and the brutal application of the laws that they so flippantly dismiss (and which they replace with their own, more convenient brutal laws). And, just as the mafia constantly use unrighteous cunning to get their way, they must also be dealt with using righteous cunning. Consider, for example, how mafioso Al Capone was finally imprisoned by cleverly using tax laws against him after he had cleverly evaded numerous other laws. The main reason why the unrighteous mafia need to rely on cunning and deception is that it allows them to build a "wall" that protects their territory from the laws that they want to ignore, preventing those laws seeping into their domain. That wall of deception also serves to hide their intentions from the people that they seek to steal from in order to acquire more wealth and power.

As we have seen in this posting, the sons of Kittim were enabled by God Himself to "write laws and principles", and they were also made "natural strikers" capable of dishing out punishing blows to ensure that the laws they have written are followed. God also endowed the sons of Kittim with the natural ability to build walls in order to more easily enforce their laws by preventing the entry of forces (and people) contrary to those laws. Therefore, Kittim has all the natural attributes required for a perfect "mafia boss" when he strays from God's will. When he stays within God's will, however, he is the perfect "human weapon" to fight unrighteous mafias and to solidify God's apostolic judgements on Earth. This is why his ships shall afflict the Ashur and Eber mafias, causing them to perish forever.

It is worth noting that the Spirit of God says that the ships of Kittim shall "afflict" Ashur and Eber. This speaks of a process in which the enemy is worn down, just as Rocky Marciano would wear down his opponents with one punishing blow after another until the time came for the final, devastating knock-out blow. Obviously, some enemies can be knocked out more quickly than others, but, even with first-round knock-outs, victory is almost never achieved with the very first blow.

The ships of Kittim

As you may have noticed, Numbers 24:24 does not simply say that Kittim shall afflict Ashur and Eber. Instead, it declares that the "ships of Kittim" shall do this. As we shared in the previous posting on Tarshish, Kittim's brother, Scripture establishes a strong connection between Tarshish and ships. However, the word for "ship" used in the original Hebrew text in Numbers 24:24 is different from the word oniyah that is used for "ship" when referring to the ships of Tarshish. In Numbers 24:24, the word used by the Spirit of God is the Hebrew word tsiy, which is only used in 4 verses of Scripture, with Numbers 24:24 being the first verse.

Commanded boundaries

The word tsiy seems to have been derived from two different words. One of them is the verb tsavah meaning "to command, charge", which is used for the first time in verse 16 the following passage, translated as "commanded":

"16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." (Genesis 2:16-17)

Notice that tsavah is used in the context of a limitation that God placed around the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which was equivalent to a "wall" or "fence" around the tree to prevent man eating from it (at least at that point in time). This connotation of a "delimiting wall" can be seen throughout the usages of tsavah in Scripture, as in the following verses, where it is translated as "charged":

"And Abimelech charged all his people, saying, He that toucheth this man or his wife shall surely be put to death" (Genesis 26:11)

"And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan" (Genesis 28:1)

The dryness weapon

The second word from which tsiy is apparently derived is the Hebrew noun tsiyah meaning "dryness, dry place", which is used in the following verse, translated as "dry":

"And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness" (Zephaniah 2:13)

[Interestingly, the word "Assyria" above was translated from the same Hebrew word for "Ashur" in Numbers 24:24, which emphasises the spiritual connection between the ships of Kittim and the judgement on Ashur]

From the above, it becomes clear the word tsiy does not speak of a ship as a mode of transport to enable encounters with faraway peoples (the way that Tarshish's oniyah does). Instead, it speaks of a ship as a way to "command a dry place" in the middle of much water. In a sense, the ship acts like a wall that keeps the unwanted sea water out and keeps those on the ship dry. Thus, Numbers 24:24 not only points to Kittim as the afflicter of Ashur and Eber but points to the means through which Kittim will carry out this afflicting. It is through the "ships" that Kittim builds that he will command dryness on Ashur and Eber, depleting their wealth and causing poverty on them. Kittim believers will do this as they stand on these ships, meaning that they will have to willingly expose themselves to a measure of "dryness", i.e. depletion of wealth, in their own lives in order to unleash massive dryness and depletion on Ashur and Eber, to the point of causing Ashur and Eber to perish forever, as per Numbers 24:24.

Safety-demolishing angels

The third of the 4 appearances of tsiy is in the following verse, again translated as "ships":

"In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh" (Ezekiel 30:9)

The word "messengers" in the verse above was translated from the Hebrew word malak, which is generally translated as "angel" in Scripture (as in Genesis 16:7, for example, when referring to the "angel of the Lord"). As we have shared before, angels are "soulless spirits" who execute judgements without granting any room for soulish "mercy". This points once again to the ruthless way with which Kittim must deal out his punishing judgement blows.

The word "careless" in Ezekiel 30:9, was translated from the Hebrew word betach, which literally means "safely" and is derived from the verb batach meaning "to trust, to feel secure". The first time that the verb batach is used is in the following verse, translated as "trustedst":

"And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee." (Deuteronomy 28:52)

Notice how the verse above speaks of someone having a sense of safety from the walls around him. Thus, we can see how the word betach in Ezekiel 30:9 above speaks of how Kittim, who himself is a wall builder, comes to break through the enemy's walls of safety to punish him into extinction. It is also worth noting that the verse above appears within the curse that God would place on the people of Israel if they chose to be unfaithful to Him. This reaffirms the role of Kittim believers in punishing and destroying the "Peleg Jews" who safely hide behind their natural Abrahamic blessing to do their mafioso deeds.

Great pain for Cush

The word "Ethiopians" in Ezekiel 30:9 above was translated from the Hebrew word "Cush", which literally means "black". Even though there is a literal application of the judgement in Ezekiel 30:9 to black people in the literal realm, its deeper, truer application is in the spirit realm to the followers of Balaam, which, as we have said before, is the remnant's enemy during the black-horse stage. In other words, the "Cushites" that Ezekiel 30:9 refers to are the enemies of God's "black"(-horse) remnant who seek after temporal prosperity by misusing God's grace and who believe that they can use that ill-gotten prosperity to erect an impenetrable wall around them, like a mafioso who uses his money to buy bodyguards and a huge mansion to protect himself from the law and from his "competitors".

The phrase "great pain" in Ezekiel 30:9 above was translated from the Hebrew word chalchalah, which can also be translated as "trembling" or "twisting in anguish". The Spirit of God emphasises this "great pain" or anguish on Cush ("Ethiopia") 5 verses earlier, again using the same word chalchalah:

"And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down" (Ezekiel 30:4)

To better understand the nature of and the reason for this anguish on Cush, we must consider the following verse, where chalchalah is translated as "pain":

"Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it." (Isaiah 21:3)

Notice that chalchalah points to the twisting anguish of childbirth. The reason why this type of pain must be brought on Cush Balaamites is because the pain of childbirth is a selfless, sacrificial price that woman must pay in order to bring new life into the world (John 16:21). This price became excruciatingly intense as a result of the fall of man, which stemmed from man's "male" spirit becoming submitted under the "female" soul:

"16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;" (Genesis 3:16-17)

"13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety." (1 Timothy 2:13-15)

Said another way, the pain of childbirth is a green-horse Sheol experience that woman must go through as a redeeming price for the destruction wrought by the matriarchy of the soul. Were it not for the fall of man and the matriarchy of the soul, childbirth would not be as harrowing an experience as it is today, and it would probably have entailed going into a profound state of sleep, as when God caused Adam to sleep before He brought forth woman from inside of him (Genesis 2:21). Childbirth would still have been a green-horse, Sheol experience, but without the unnecessary suffering that the soul added to it when it attempted to supplant the spirit.

As we shared above, "Cush" (or "Ethiopia") at times represents those who wander around the wilderness, faithfully following Balaam during the black-horse stage. These are the souls bent on using spiritual things to satisfy themselves and no one else, not even God. Because of their manipulation of spiritual things for their own pleasure (like Belshazzar in Daniel 5), they become accountable for never going "green", for which reason God forces them (through Kittim) to go through involuntary "green-horse anguish". Had these "black" souls not chosen to abuse God's spiritual things, they would not be required to go through this otherwise-voluntary green-horse experience. When the sons of Kittim trigger this anguish on Cush in the natural realm, they release redemption for all of mankind. When man does not allow this anguish to be triggered on Cush in this realm, the ultimate redemption of man is stalled.

All of the above explains why the Spirit of God says the following to Nineveh, the capital of Ashur (i.e. "Assyria"):

"8 But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall flee away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back. 9 Take ye the spoil of silver, take the spoil of gold: for there is none end of the store and glory out of all the pleasant furniture. 10 She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness." (Nahum 2:8-10)

[The phrase "much pain" in verse 10 was translated from chalchalah]

As Kittim's blows bring judgement on the Balaamite mafia, the unrighteousness of their nature will be exposed in their faces, for which reason their faces will gather "blackness", just as they used God's spiritual things to greedily gather temporal blessings during the black-horse stage, never willing to go "green".

The day of Egypt

As we have shared before, Egypt is generally a figure of the Girgashite spirit in Scripture, and Girgashites are the "earthliest" and the most bound to the natural realm of all people. Therefore, in a general sense, the obscure phrase "as in the day of Egypt" in Ezekiel 30:9 above speaks of a removal of the spiritual intangibles that the Balaamite mafia always use to do their mafioso deeds and protect themselves from the true law. Once deprived of these intangibles, they will stand like naked Egyptians with no protection from the punishing blows of Kittim and will be destroyed forever.

Feeding on wind

The phrase "day of Egypt" in Ezekiel 30:9 was translated from the Hebrew words yowm meaning "day" and mitsrayim, the Hebrew word for "Egypt". Interestingly, yowm and mitsrayim also appear in the following verse (though not next to each other):

"Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt" (Hosea 12:1)

[The word "daily" was translated from yowm and the word "Egypt" was translated from mitsrayim]

There are several things worth noting in the verse above:

  • The name "Ephraim" can be translated as "doubly fruitful". Thus, it points to prosperity and abundance. Since Ephraim is being spoken of in a negative sense, Ephraim here represents people who prosper, or who seek after prosperity, in an unrighteous way.

  • The word "wind" was translated from the Hebrew word ruwach, which is also the word for "spirit". Therefore, the beginning of the verse above could have been translated as "Ephraim feedeth on spirit".

  • The phrase "east wind" was translated from the single Hebrew word qadiym, which is used to refer either to east as a direction or to a wind from the east. In Scripture, the "east" generally refers to resurrection glory, since that is where the sun rises after having "died" the night before.

  • It is safe to assume that qadiym refers to the "east wind" and not to the "east" per se because of the explicit reference to "wind" prior to the use of qadiym.

  • The phrase "followeth after the east wind" has the connotation of someone who is constantly on the lookout for the east wind in order to be pushed by it. Since the east wind blows from east to west, those who are pushed by it will move west, with their back to the east.

  • The word "make" in the phrase "make a covenant" was translated from the Hebrew verb karath, which literally means "to cut, cut off" (and is translated as such in many verses, such as Genesis 9:11 and Genesis 17:14). Therefore, a literal translation would read "cut a covenant".

  • The word "Assyrians" was translated from the Hebrew word ashur, the same word translated as "Asshur" in Numbers 24:24. Therefore, the word "Assyrians" is referring to the Ashur mafia that we have meditated on so far.

  • As we have shared before, "oil" in Scripture points to the prophetic anointing and Egypt to the Girgashite spirit.

Therefore, putting it all together, we can conclude that the Spirit of God is declaring the following in Hosea 12:1: Those who prosper unrighteously ("Ephraim") enrich themselves by using the things of the Spirit ("feed on the wind"), and they make an effort to enjoy the benefits produced by the resurrection glory of those who have resurrected after dying in sacrifice, but with their backs to the Face of God's Glory ("followeth after the east wind") because they do not care to have a relationship with God and His Consuming-Fire nature (Hebrews 12:29). Such people accumulate lies and desolation day after day as the "resurrection sun" rises in the east daily and they turn their backs to it to catch the benefits of the east wind that flows from that sun ("daily increaseth lies and desolation"). These prosperity chasers cut a covenant with the spirit of Ashur because they are aware of the power of covenants and the binding laws that emanate from such covenants ("they do make a covenant with the Assyrians"). This is why "prosperity gospel" believers talk so much about "covenants" and about finding and using laws in Scripture to extort God for natural things. As they do all of this, they take the prophetic anointing and use it for Girgashite ends ("oil is carried into Egypt").

Hittite Ephraim and Amorite Ashur

Everything said about Ephraim in the paragraph above applies to any prosperity chaser, but it is clear, especially from the reference to "oil", that the Lord uses the name "Ephraim" more directly to refer to those who are drawn to the prophetic, distorting it into Hittite deception for Girgashite ends (since Hittites are prophets gone bad). By contrast, Ashur, or the "Assyrians", points more to those drawn to the evangelistic, distorting it into Amorite dominance for Girgashite ends (since Amorites are evangelists gone bad). This is because Assyria was a great empire, and the Lord refers to its capital, Nineveh, as a "great city" (Jonah 4:11), all of which points to evangelistic conquest and greatness in the positive and to Amorite dominance and pride in the negative.

Based on the above, we can say that the covenant that Ephraim cuts with the Assyrians points more directly to the alliance between those who embrace the Hittite and those who embrace the Amorite. This correlates with the fact that the followers of Balaam during the black-horse stage are Hittite-Amorites gone Girgashite.

Mafia desolation

The word "desolation" in the phrase "he daily increaseth lies and desolation" of Hosea 12:1 above was translated from the Hebrew word shod, which also appears in the following verse, translated as "spoiler":

"Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land" (Isaiah 16:4)

Notice how the verse above speaks of an "extortioner", which points to the mafia spirit that righteous Kittim fights against. Hence, the verse above emphasises the connection between the mafioso Balaamites and desolation. Their abuse of God's spiritual things leads to a harvest of desolation wherever they go. It is important, therefore, for the spiritual sons of Kittim to remember this as they strike angry blows against the Balaamite mafia. They deserve merciless and violent blows against them until they "cease" and they are "consumed out of the land", and the sons of Kittim are spiritually authorised to write the laws and build the walls to make this a reality in the "day of Egypt".

{The fact that the words in Isaiah 16:4 are directed at Moab have deep spiritual significance, but that significance is beyond the scope of this posting. Suffice it to say, that, at a "superficial" level, Moab refers to the American South and its current responsibility to protect the sons of Kittim.}

The day of congregation

Later in Hosea 12, the Spirit of God again uses the words yowm ("day") and mitsrayim ("Egypt") in the same verse, in verse 9, translated as "days" and "Egypt" respectively:

"8 And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance: in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin. 9 And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast." (Hosea 12:8-9)

[Notice how verse 8 speaks of Ephraim boasting about its wealth, certifying Ephraim's connection to the Balaamite prosperity chasers]

Interestingly enough, the phrase "solemn feast" was translated from the Hebrew word mowed, which literally means "appointed place, appointed time" and is actually translated as "congregation" by the KJV in around two-thirds of its appearances in Scripture. Hence the phrase "days of the solemn feast" can also be translated as "appointed days" or "days of congregation". The significance of this becomes clearer when one meditates on verse 22 below, where mowed is translated as "solemn" and yowm is translated as "day":

"21 The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed, and not pitied. 22 Thou hast called as in a solemn day my terrors round about, so that in the day of the LORD'S anger none escaped nor remained: those that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed." (Lamentations 2:21-22)

Notice how the passage above speaks of the Lord "calling a meeting" or "congregation" of terrors around the one under judgement. This is to illustrate the nature of the sin being judged. The Lord God called the Ephraimites out of Egypt so that they could have a holy congregation unto God in the wilderness, a congregation in which they were to understand the holiness of what had just been given to them and where they would become aware of the brethren around them. Instead, they went out as self-centred individuals with no "corporeal" awareness of their brethren. And, when they congregate, they do it to see what they can extract from the brethren around them and from God, with no understanding of how they are desecrating the things and people that they are handling. When they do this, they effectively "desolate" those things and persons, for they deprive them of their true, eternal purpose. This is why God rewards them by congregating terrors around them, and this happens as Kittim deals his deadly blows against them, like an enraged Rocky Marciano mercilessly pummelling them into nothingness. This is what the desolating "day of Egypt" in Ezekiel 30:9 is about.

Beating the Balaam out of the anti-Christ

The last time that the name Kittim appears in Scripture is in verse 30 of the following passage:

"25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him. 26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain. 27 And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed. 28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land. 29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter. 30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant. 31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. 33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. 34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. 35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed. 36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. 37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all." (Daniel 11:25-37)

As you may know, Daniel 11 is a prophecy that applies to the "son of perdition" that Paul warns the Thessalonians about. This connection between Daniel 11 and 2 Thessalonians 3 becomes clear when one considers the reference to self-exaltation in both chapters:

"3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (2 Thessalonians 2:3-12)

The two kings

Notice that, in Daniel 11:30 above, the Spirit of God once again refers not just to Kittim but to his ships; and, just as in Numbers 24:24, the word for "ships" in the original Hebrew text is tsiy. This once again points to the need for Kittim to impose "dryness" and a "limiting wall" on himself before he can apply it with resounding power on God's enemies.

In Daniel 11, the Spirit of God describes the conflict between two kingdoms, the kingdom of the "north" and the kingdom of the "south". This correlates with how the nation of Israel was split into 2 kingdoms, the northern kingdom of Samaria and the southern kingdom of Judah. When one meditates on how both kingdoms are described in Scripture, it becomes evident that the northern kingdom of Samaria represents grace, liberty, and a lack of traditional limitations, and is therefore "left-handed"; by contrast, the southern kingdom of Judah represents law, judgements, and limitation, and is therefore "right-handed". Thus, we can safely infer that the northern kingdom of Daniel 11 is "left-handed" and the southern kingdom is "right-handed". As indicated in verse 27, both the king of the north and the king of the south will be corrupt, meaning that none of them can be considered "the good guy" in the story. Having said that, it is clear that the king of the north is by far more evil and corrupted than the king of the south, for the king of the north is the son of perdition.

Even though both kings are evil, the king of the north does not consider the other king an "ally". Instead, he despises him because he represents a hindrance to his total and unopposed control. This is because the southern kingdom contains elements of righteousness that get in his way, as well as the fact that the king of the south has unrighteous "controlling intentions" of his own.

Constraining perdition wealth

Notice that Daniel 11:28 above indicates that the king of the south shall attack the southern kingdom, ransack it, and return to his land with great riches. Based on all that we have shared so far, this points to the Balaamite mafia spirit, meaning that the son of perdition shall make use of this spirit to have his way on the southern kingdom, thereby becoming dangerously strong. This is why, when he unleashes a second attack on the south (v29), the Spirit of God raises up the ships of Kittim, His anti-mafia special forces, to pound the son of perdition and his army and inject desolation into them. This is how God will nullify the Balaamite component in the son of perdition to prevent him becoming too wealthy and powerful to be stopped. Notice also that Daniel 11 implicitly indicates that the anti-mafia mafia, i.e. Kittim, will not emerge from within the southern kingdom, for that kingdom is too weakened by subtle corruption to possess such people; that is why they must come in ships from a different place to beat up the son of perdition and its army and rescue the southern kingdom.

Invisibly punching out the anti-Christ

Despite Kittim's ability to beat the Balaam out of the son of perdition, his visible blows will not be enough to utterly defeat him. There are two reasons for this. For one, the southern kingdom's own unrighteousness makes it spiritually impossible for the son of perdition to be obliterated, especially because the son of perdition's utter defeat would solidify the power of the southern kingdom in its unrighteousness, making it impossible for the kingdom of God to flow in the land. Second, Kittim's "innate" ability is against the spirit of Balaam, which is the remnant's enemy during the black-horse stage. Warfare in the next stage, the green-horse stage, however, is different in its nature. You cannot simply "beat" your way out of the green-horse stage, for that stage is one of voluntary sacrifice, death, and subsequent 5th-seal hibernation and "underground persecution". This is why, after Kittim's strikes on the son of perdition, the son of perdition is made to "grieve" (Daniel 11:30), meaning that he is disheartened and saddened, but he is able to retreat and regroup (through no fault of Kittim). Though not complete, Kittim's victory is crucial to keeping hope alive.

"For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant" (Daniel 11:30)

Notice that, after retreating, the son of perdition's reaction is to "have indignation against the holy covenant". This is because Kittim's strength derives from a righteous and reverent understanding of covenants, whereas the Balaamite mafia relies on an irreverent and carnally-opportunistic interpretation of covenants. After being broken by a Kittim that follows after the holy covenant, the son of perdition becomes determined to take full revenge on such a covenant, and he begins to consort with "them that forsake the holy covenant".

The word "forsake" in Daniel 11:30 was translated from the Hebrew verb azab, which literally means "leave" and is translated as such in verses such as Genesis 2:24 when speaking of how a man shall "leave his father and mother" and "cleave unto his wife". Therefore, it has the connotation of someone who lets go of something in order to take hold of something different. Hence, Daniel 11:30 is speaking of people who break off all connection with the "holy covenant" in order to openly help the enemy. This points in a subtle way to those who stop following "black-horse stage" Balaam and begin to follow "green-horse stage" Korah, since Korah is the ultimate blasphemer who loses absolutely all respect for anything that is holy and begins to build a new world of his own that is devoid of anything "holy" (except for that which relates to him). Unlike Balaam's followers, Korah's followers do not see the value of embracing holy covenants and manipulating them for temporal gain. Instead, they believe in the power of human alliances, meaning that they believe in the power of human covenants but reject the benefits of covenants with "spiritual entities". The only "spiritual" covenant that they are willing to embrace is the one where they worship satan and give it full control of the spiritual atmosphere in exchange for being "left alone" to rule down in the earthly realm, as when satan offered Yeshua the kingdoms of the world and their glory in exchange for falling down and worshipping it (Matthew 4:8-9).

As we have shared before, green-horse riders are believers who make a vow of utter surrender to God, allowing Him to bind them and take them where they do not want to go, which ultimately means being taken through Death and Sheol experiences. Unlike the black-horse stage, which is one of processes, growth, and continuous exchanges with God in His Holy Covenant, the green-horse stage involves a "one-time moment of ultimate commitment" followed by the consequences of that binding commitment. In a sense, the followers of Korah, the green horse's nemesis, do the same thing, but in the "opposite" direction. They too make a "one-time ultimate commitment" by falling down and worshipping satan, and the rest of their journey consists of them using all the tools and tricks that satan makes available to them in order to achieve what satan offered them ("the kingdoms of the world and their glory"). These are the vile souls that the son of perdition colludes with to unleash the death and persecution that is described after immediately Daniel 11:30.

As we said earlier, Kittim's "literal", visible blows are not enough to overcome the son of perdition during the green-horse phase. But, once the green-horse sacrifice has been made, Kittim's "punching tendencies" must be adopted again, only at a higher, more spiritual level, and more as a defensive, reactive measure than as an offensive, proactive strategy. Why? Because the son of perdition and its minions revert to the mafia assault mentality against the weakened remnant, and mafia tactics must be fought with counter-mafia "mafia" tactics, and those counter-tactics will involve invisible but deadly Kittim blows in the spiritual atmosphere. This is why Daniel 11 ends with these verses:

"42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. 44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. 45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him." (Daniel 11:42-45)

Notice how the son of perdition seems to thrive after its initial setback at the hands of Kittim. Even so, without much explanation, the son of perdition comes to a sudden end, with no one to help it (v45). This is the Spirit's way of illustrating the silent, invisible way in which the remnant will wipe out the son of perdition and that animal's worthless army. The fact that Kittim is mentioned two-thirds of the way into chapter 11 (v30), 15 verses before the son of perdition's demise is declared (v45), with no other opponent (of the son of perdition) being explicitly mentioned in between, implies that the invisible way through which the remnant shall fight and defeat the son of perdition is through Kittim "counter-blows" in the spirit realm that have incremental effects in the spirit realm and a sudden manifestation in the natural realm, just as when Marciano knocked out the 1952 world champion in the 13th round after being down on points throughout the fight.

A clear manifestation of Daniel 11

The story narrated by the Spirit of God in Daniel 11 represents a spiritual pattern that is to be lived out in order to destroy the spirit of anti-Christ, which is the spirit in the son of perdition. The eschatological parrots tend to see Daniel 11 as a literal prophecy, and they therefore believe that the only reason to learn Daniel 11 is to be on the lookout for its literal manifestation in the course of world events. Many believe (and this writer agrees) that Daniel 11 had a very clear manifestation in what happened after Alexander the Great completed his great conquest and his kingdom was split in 4 after his death. In that context, the kingdom of the north was literally represented in the Seleucid kingdom of Antiochus II in Syria, and the kingdom of the south was literally represented in the Ptolomaic kingdom of Ptolomy II Philadelphus in Egypt, as described on biblebookofdaniel.com.

Despite this fulfilment of the Daniel 11 prophecy in Greek history, most believe that it has a latter-day fulfilment as well. However, eschatological parrots believe that this second fulfilment will be as literal and visible as the first fulfilment so many centuries ago. This writer believes that, more than likely, there will never be a second literal fulfilment, at least not one as "historically tangible" as the first one. To expect this second literal fulfilment is not only a waste of time but is also a reflection of a deep misunderstanding of God's prophetic word. The Spirit of God did not inspire the prophecies in Scripture to simply "predict the future" the way a daily horoscope pretends to. Instead, the intent of these prophecies is to reveal spiritual patterns and principles that are not visible to the natural eye. These prophecies are also intended to motivate those who believe to embrace these prophetic rhemas and to declare them in the spirit realm so as to accelerate their ultimate fulfilment in the natural realm. God's prophecies in Scripture are also intended to give understanding and comfort to those who are in the middle of spiritual currents and who do not comprehend what is going on or what God's global picture is.

Having said the above, let us consider a recent, very relevant fulfilment of Daniel 11, one whose understanding gives this writer a great deal of comfort, especially after all that God's remnant have had to go through in the last 10 to 15 years. The recent fulfilment of Daniel 11 unveils before one's eyes the moment one realises that the son of perdition is the worthless impostor barry hussein obastard. This writer believes that there has not been a more vile manifestation of the son of perdition in the world stage than obastard, and this is because of the spiritual glory and life that obastard's rise hindered and almost killed off forever. This writer knows that the previous statement sounds like a gross exaggeration, but I know that 100 years from now, it will have been established as evident truth, and the generation that allowed the rise of obastard will be more reviled for all of eternity than the generation that allowed the rise of hitler or even lenin.

Once one recognises the "son of perdition" in barry obastard, it becomes clear that the kingdom of the north was "played" by American liberals and the Democrat party and that the kingdom of the south was "played" by the Republican Party. Kittim was "played" in the literal realm by the Tea Party and by a core of catholic people who dared to fight back against obastard's evil with no fear of liberal reprisal and without relying on the strength of the matriarchal religious system. It must be said, however, that the spiritual currency that gave these people authority to fight back in the anointing of Kittim was paid by the invisible remnant fighting in the spiritual background, the remnant who were God's sole justification for investing any effort in restoring a deeply corrupted American nation.

In the above scenario, the Edom and Moab mentioned in verse 41 were "played" by staunch American conservatives and the American South, and the "chief of the children of Ammon" in that verse refers to the best of the believers who are improperly birthed into the matriarchal Church through "Ammonite" means that compromise Christianity so as to gain more "converts". According to verse 41, these 3 groups (Moab, Edom, and the best of the Ammonites) escape the hand of the son of perdition, and they do so because there is enough love for truth and enough of the Kittim fighting spirit in them to strike back, at least enough not to be overwhelmed by the son-of-perdition spirit as the rest of the non-remnant population is.

Trump Kittim

In a literal sense, barry obastard suffered the sudden, ignominious end described in verse 45 when, out of nowhere, the complete opposite of it, Donald Trump, took the White House back from it. In a deeper sense, however, the son-of-perdition spirit continued, manifested now in the liberal, leftist forces that continue to destroy America. In this new context, Trump now plays the role of Kittim in the literal, visible realm, pounding away at the liberal media and Democrats with the tact and diplomacy of a heavyweight boxer. Unfortunately, Trump stunted his growth, so he is unable to play the silent and invisible green-horse role of Kittim, and he is doing little to alleviate the 5th-seal affliction of God's remnant (he does not care for the remnant, for he sees no glamour in them).

It is no coincidence that, as we have been typing this posting, a news story appeared on the Gateway Pundit, a popular news website, around 10 Nov 2019, which spoke of a man named Thomas Zimmer and his prophecy about Trump from the 1980s. According to romancatholicman.com and conservativefighters.com, Thomas Zimmer is an American who decided to leave everything in America and move to Loreto, Italy to dedicate the rest of his life to prayer, for which reason he became known as the "Hermit of Loreto". At some point during the 1980s, he told an American doctor that he had a premonition about a coming leader who would lead America back to God, and that that leader was Donald J. Trump. As indicated on andamazinggrace.com, the doctor was utterly surprised, since Trump at the time was known as a millionaire from New York who seemed more interested in the pleasures of this world than in anything spiritual. However, the Hermit of Loreto was so convinced of his premonition that he donated a brick to be put on the so-called "Holy Door" of the Vatican that said "Donald J. Trump". He donated the brick during the year 2000, a year that the catholic church had declared as a "Jubilee year" and during which the "Holy Door" was being reconstructed.

This writer believes that God inspired these actions years ago (even through people trapped in the catholic sect), allowing these actions to resurface out of nowhere as this posting was being written in order to confirm the "Italian Kittim" nature that would be embedded in Trump; and the brick donated by the Hermit of Loreto emphasises the wall-building nature of Kittim. This writer also believes that the name "Donald J. Trump" in that brick stands for more than the man himself but for the spirit of the remnant believers who have enabled his rise to power and who provided him with the spiritual currency to do the things he has done. Trump would have been a remnant believer himself and a much greater "Kittim" destroyer of the American left had he not allowed his heart to be swayed by the external glamour and appeal of some of his treacherous enemies, amongst whom are ivanka and that little monster named jared.

{As we have been proofreading this posting and adding links to it, Trump decided to post a tweet with an image where his head is superimposed on Rocky Balboa's body. This is no spiritual coincidence. Trump followed the prompting of the Spirit when he posted this very unusual tweet (which is considered "un-presidential" by God's bastard enemies). May those who have ears hear what the Spirit of God is saying through it.}

America Kittim

As we studied in a previous posting, God made sure that America would be discovered through the Spaniards, the sons of Tarshish in the natural, because of the anointing and calling on Tarshish. However, He also made sure that the discovery would be made by an Italian, Christopher Columbus, and He also ensured that the New Land would be named after an Italian, in this case, Amerigo Vespucci. All of this was to certify the strong spiritual connection between America and the spirit of Kittim, and it emphasises the fact that the core of the resistance against the spirit of anti-Christ, as implied in Daniel 11:25, will play itself out in the American landscape, even when the remnant spirit did take refuge for a season in Britannia's spiritual realm. The apostolic endurance and zeal for righteousness inherent in Britannia is not enough to battle the anti-God mobs. There is a need for a Rocky-Marciano-style, Kittim bruising attitude to beat back against them and destroy them.

Hittite-kicking Kittim

As we studied earlier, Exodus 27:20 reveals a subtle spiritual connection between the name "Kittim" and the beating of olives. In a positive sense, olives and their oil point to the prophetic endowment; therefore, in a negative sense, they point to the Hittite spirit, since Hittites are "prophets gone bad". Therefore, we can conclude that Kittim is well-endowed to beat up on and quell the Hittite spirit of terror and deceit when necessary.

As we have shared before, the Hittite spirit is the one most directly related to suicide. This explains why Italy is the country with the second-lowest suicide-per-capita rate in Europe, as shown in the 2016 lists posted on wikipedia.org and who.int at the time of this writing. The only European nation with a lower suicide rate is Greece, which makes sense, given the strong biological connection between Greece and Italy that we have mentioned before. The fact that Italy could not beat Greece in this category may stem from the subtle presence of the Hittite spirit within the catholic sect, and, as long as Italy is willing to embrace the catholic spirit, it will not fully manifest its inherent Kittim ability to beat up on the Hittite spirit, even when that ability is there and has had clear manifestations in the Italian people.

Ironically, when Kittim goes bad, he becomes a conduit for the very Hittite spirits that he is naturally enabled to beat up. This is evident in the Hittite terror that the mafia can inflict on people trapped within their walls.

{God willing, we shall share more on the sons of Javan (and Japheth) in a future posting.}
