Prophetic word for today

Flooded land

Word received by: Donna

This dream I had on Oct. 3, 2004 --- My husband and I were standing in what appeared to be an old farm house, old wood no paint, and I could see to my right a field of green crops of some sort that went on for miles. Suddenly, I hear this commotion outside, like lots of people talking, and I hear them talking about a flood coming and how this water comes quickly and we needed to get to higher ground ----- My husband is on a motorcycle, trying to get it started; he tries three times; it doesn't start, so he lays the bike down with the person on it and runs in the house to get the right keys -- he's trying to get this person to safety.

Then I hear someone ask if we have 4-wheel drive. We say "no", and I see myself walking out of the house, carrying a small silver metal box, and I drop it. As I do, I see how quickly it went under the muddy water, but I see where it went, even though the water is muddy, and I quickly retrieve it.

There are people running around trying to get to safe ground. I see my husband and me in a vehicle, thinking "This isn't going to get us out of here", and, suddenly, we are in a red SUV with 4-wheel drive scaling a rock wall in front of us, almost supernaturally flying over it. I could see part of the road in front of the wall, and I could see the water coming down, but this water was running clear like water from a waterfall. End of dream.

Our comments

The "farm" Church

The old farm house is a figure of the Church in its current condition. The "farm" speaks of "land" or "earth", which in turn points to the Girgashite spirit of earthliness. The fact that it was "old" speaks of how the Church is trapped in human, Girgashite traditions. Since a farm produces "fruits of the ground", it points to a Church dominated by the spirit of Cain which is bent on offering God earthly sacrifices that are meaningless to Him (Genesis 4:3-7).

Uncovered wood

The fact that the house was made of old wood with no paint speaks of how the Church has been unwilling to cover (i.e.- to "paint") her earthliness or temporality (i.e.- the "wood" -- 1 Corinthians 3:12) with eternal, spirit nature. As we have said before, Girgashites ignore the spiritual nature of man and focus on temporary things, thinking that man can find perfection or "self-fulfillment" in the middle of his human weakness and temporality, without realizing that God has called us to cover or "dress up" our earthly weakness with His eternal, spirit nature (2 Corinthians 5:1-5). The Church is full of Girgashite believers who think that their relationship with God can be fulfilled through the carrying out of "religious" activities, without really groaning within themselves to manifest God's supernatural, Spirit nature which He deposited inside of them when they were born again (Ephesians 4:24, Colossians 3:10, Ephesians 2:8-10).

"10And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. 11And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about." (Exodus 25:10-11)

Notice that the Ark of the Covenant was made of wood, but that wood was overlaid with pure gold. "Gold" in Scripture is a figure of the Glory of God, and the word "pure" speaks of gold that has been purified through fire, meaning that it speaks of God's purifying judgments. We are to be like the Ark of the Covenant, made of frail, weak flesh (i.e.- "wood") but coated over with God's Glory (both inside and outside) as we go through the fire of His purifying judgments. Girgashites place so much value on temporary things that they become unwilling to pay the price to manifest God's Glory on Earth, meaning that they remain as "uncoated", "uncovered" wood that is soon to be burned in the fire of Gehenna.

The "unpainted wood" in the dream also points to the following:

"13And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. 14Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch." (Genesis 6:13-14)

[The reference to "flesh" and "earth" in verse 13 points to the Girgashite spirit of earthliness (since human flesh is made of "dust of the Earth" (Genesis 3:19). The reference to "violence" points to the judgment-hating Canaanite spirit (Amos 6:3).]

Just like in the dream, God sent a flood against the Girgashite and Canaanite spirits that were prevalent in the Earth during Noah's days, and the wood that would "withstand" that flood had to be coated with black pitch, which speaks of hiding our soul in the "blackness" or "darkness" of anonymity so that our God-given spirit may shine forth in Him, like gold.

Parrot crops

The green crops to the right of sister Donna have a powerful prophetic significance. As we have said before, the color "green" is strongly related to the prophetic ministry, since it speaks of "life" and "hope", and the prophetic anointing imparts a sense of vision, life, and hope. As we have also said before, the prophetic ministry is a "left-handed" ministry which, by its very nature, must allow the emotions to overflow and supersede natural thinking. Therefore, the fact that the "green" crops were to the right, not to the left, of sister Donna speaks of how the Church has tried to yield prophetic fruit through right-handed, mind-oriented, Girgashite teacher-thinking.

As we have said before, the Church is full of Girgashite eschatologists who publish tons of books and hold numerous conferences on end-time events. The Church has allowed these eschatologists to shape her view and understanding of the Lord's coming. They have been labeled as the "experts" on "prophetic events", yet, they are completely devoid of any real prophetic anointing. They have reduced the understanding of what the Lord will do in these latter days to a mental analysis of prophetic passages which God has decreed to be un-interpretable without the free flow of His prophetic anointing. Since these men (and the Church in general) are comfortable with traditional interpretations of prophetic passages, most believers throughout the Church remain unaware of what will really happen in these latter days.

From the Girgashite eschatologists, the Church has come to believe that she is "right and well" with God and that her "commendable" task of saving "lost souls" will continue until she will be "raptured" one day, escaping from the terrible judgment that will befall this "wicked" world. Millions of books and novels that revolve around this concept of the end-times are sold around the world, yet, most believers will be surprised when they realize that the "movie" will not play out as these foolish eschatologists have scripted it. Most believers are as unprepared as the people in the dream, and, after the real movie plays out, it will become evident that the eschatological books, novels, and conferences -- many as they are -- were nothing but meaningless, mental works of the flesh. Just like the green crops that went on for miles, they will be flooded and rendered useless, for God's coming will not coming without judgment coming on the Church first. The Lord cannot appear until the Church accepts that most of the works that she has performed during the last 19 centuries have been nothing but works of the flesh, for she has defied God by maintaining a pastoral matriarchy that has hindered the true manifestation of the Spirit of God in His people.

"17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" (1 Peter 4:17)

"If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha" (1 Corinthians 16:22)

The word "Maranatha" means "our Lord comes", while the word "anathema" means "accursed", and refers to something or someone set apart for destruction. Therefore, the verse above literally says the following:

"If any man does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, cursed be him. Our Lord comes."

Why would the Holy Spirit inspire Paul to pronounce a curse immediately before speaking of the Lord's coming? Because those who long to see the Lord manifested in the House know that it is necessary to clean up the House first (through spiritual judgment) before the Lord can come. As we have shared before, God's visitation immediately unleashes judgments on the place or person He visits. This is why the book of Revelation is so laden with judgments, since it is the book that describes what happens when the Lord reveals Himself (Revelation 1:1).

The connection between "cursing unto destruction" and the Lord's visitation or "revelation" can also be seen in the following passage:

"17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus." (Revelation 22:17-20)

Notice that the book of Revelation ends with a curse pronounced by the prophet John (v18-19) that is wrapped between invocations for the Lord's coming (v17, 20). Any eschatological "prophetic word" that does not reflect an awareness of the role of judgment curses (pronounced by the Church) prior to the Lord's coming is worthless "prophetic" word, as worthless as the green crops that are washed away in the dream.

The green crops speak of Cain-like "fruit of the ground" that poses as prophetic sacrifice. Abel knew that only blood sacrifice is acceptable prophetic sacrifice unto God, so much so that Abel was willing to sacrifice his own blood. Today's eschatologists do not have a true prophetic spirit that is willing to boldly challenge the earthly teachings of men, even at the price of being criticized and ostracized. They show no signs of hearing directly from God as they read through the prophetically-inspired Scriptures (2 Peter 1:19). They act like green parrots that do nothing but repeat traditional interpretations and passages of Scripture that they really do not understand.

Girgashite drowning

Since Girgashites are "clay dwellers", they are comfortable when they stand on emotionally dry ground, i.e.- on "safe", "traditional" ground that does not demand any type of emotional sacrifice. They hate anything or anyone that calls them to pay the price to pursue a higher calling in life. In other words, they are comfortable living at "sea level", with no interest in pursuing higher ground. This is why God will send a flood against the Girgashites in the Church, just as He did with the Girgashite "earth dwellers" during Noah's days. Those who refuse to pursue higher ground and those who try to use earthly methods to escape the flood will "drown", but those who recognize the need to pursue a higher calling and who recognize the futility of earthly methods will be saved.

The useless motorcycle

The motorcycle in the dream has a powerful prophetic significance. Motorcycles speak of freedom and excitement, and therefore point to the left-handed concept of "grace". When sister Donna's husband tried to start the motorcycle 3 times, it was a prophetic figure of how the Church has tried to end the influence of the Girgashite spirit through prophetic intercession movements that focus so much on grace that they forget the foundation of truth and judgments. As we shared in a previous word, there have been 3 such prophetic movements in the last 40 to 50 years, all of which have ended in spiritual failure.

When sister Donna's husband goes to look for the "right keys", it is a prophetic figure of how this 4th prophetic movement that is starting now will restore the Church, because it will recognize the need to die:

"17And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. 19Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter" (Revelation 1:17-19)

The keys of hell and death are possessed by those who are willing to go through Sheol death. When the Lord Jesus gave Himself in sacrifice for us, He exposed Himself to God's judgments so that we may be justified in Him. He did not espouse a prophetic movement of grace and spiritual blessings alone. He preached of a prophetic move that was based on the foundation of God's truth and judgments (Matthew 16:24-27). Before the Lord used Peter to start the prophetic revival at Pentecost (Acts 2:1-41), He exposed Peter to satan's sifting (Luke 22:31) in order to prune his soul (John 15:1-8). Before the 3,000 converted at Pentecost, they were exposed to God's word of judgment against them (Acts 2:22-37). Any true prophetic movement will have a foundation of truth and judgments.

Sister Donna's husband felt compelled to find the "right keys" because he wanted to save another person. This is a figure of prophetic sacrifice. Instead of worrying about himself (as a Girgashite would), he was concerned about saving others. The Lord Jesus has the keys of hell and death because He was more concerned about saving others than saving Himself.

In the dream, sister Donna hears someone asking if they have a 4-wheel drive. This is a figure of how God is calling believers in the Spirit to forsake the truthless, 2-wheel motorcycle grace and to go after grace with a truth foundation. A car, by virtue of its 4 wheels, is more stable and secure than a 2-wheel motorcycle, which therefore speaks of a truth foundation that remains forever (1 Peter 1:24-25).

The small silver box

As we have said before, "silver" in Scripture is generally a figure of "mental purity", i.e.- a mind that makes correct judgments (Proverbs 25:4-5, Psalm 66:10-11, Malachi 3:3). As we have also said before, "smallness" is associated in Scripture with God's judgments. The "box" speaks of "limitation" (as in the phrase "boxed in") and speaks of limiting oneself within the confines of God's laws and judgments. Therefore, the "small silver box" speaks of God's right-handed truth, laws, and judgments. When sister Donna dropped the silver box in the muddy water, it acted as a prophetic figure of how the Church lost God's truth and judgments in the middle of Girgashite earthliness. The Church equated God's judgments with the following of legalistic, man-made rules that give the appearance of "pious religiosity" but do little to truly transform people on the inside (Colossians 2:16-23). The 3 latter-day prophetic movements that failed came against this spirit of legalism, but, in doing so, they ended up forgetting about God's judgments altogether, equating any reference to truth and judgments with the legalistic trends of the past.

The fact that sister Donna recovered the silver box, therefore, is a prophetic figure of how the Church will recover its awareness of God's purifying judgments. Since it is founded on truth and judgments, this 4th prophetic movement will succeed. Even though sister Donna was trying to escape from the flood, she understood that the silver box was important and could not be left behind. This speaks of how believers in the 4th prophetic movement will be aware that the Church cannot be saved (i.e.- restored) without a foundation of truth and judgments.

The 4-wheel drive

When sister Donna sees herself along with her husband inside a vehicle, she thinks, "This is not going to get us out of here". The vehicle was a 4-wheel car, which offered advantages over the 2-wheel motorcycle. Yet, it lacked an essential element.

Traditional cars have motors that propel the back wheels only, while the front wheels merely serve to change the car's direction. In a 4-wheel drive vehicle, however, all 4 wheels are connected to the power of the engine. This is a figure of a future Church where all believers are directly connected to the power of the Spirit, as opposed to the current Church that is divided between "ministers" and "laymen"; the "ministers" are the back wheels that are connected to the power of the engine and move the car, while the "laymen" are the powerless front wheels that merely follow the impulse of the back wheels.

The 4-wheel drive, therefore, speaks of a latter-day Church that will leave its Old Covenant structures of "ministerial intermediaries" and finally understand that God has called us to live under a New Covenant where each believer has uninhibited, direct access to God Himself, and where each believer is a minister of the Most High God.

Under the Old Covenant structures, it is impossible for the Church to be restored. This is why sister Donna thought that the traditional car would not save them.

The red SUV

As I pondered the meaning of the "SUV", the Lord deposited this phrase into my heart: "The Spirit Under the Veil". According to the following passage, the "veil" is our flesh:

"19Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21And having an high priest over the house of God; 22Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water." (Hebrews 10:19-22)

[Notice how this passage emphasizes our direct, New-Covenant access to God's Glory. Notice also how verse 22 emphasizes purity, which corresponds to the small silver box.]

Underneath our weak, human flesh, there is a spirit-man who was placed inside of us when we were born again. This spirit-man was created in God's likeness, in righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:24, Colossians 3:10). This spirit-man is the "son of God" inside of us and is what allows us to call Jesus our brother (Hebrews 1:11-13). This spirit-man is invisible to the natural eye, since it is enveloped inside our weak, human flesh, and can only be discerned in the Spirit.

As we have said before, the color "red" speaks of our Adamic exterior. Therefore, the "red SUV" is a figure of believers who operate in the Spirit and who allow the spirit-man inside of their Adamic exterior to be manifested. The "spirituality" of believers has been measured by the religious title they wear, but God will raise a latter-day army of believers who will be aware of their SUV, i.e.- the Spirit Under their Veil. Without regard to human titles, this army will do a mighty work as they operate in the authority of the Spirit that is inside of them. This is how the Church will be restored in these latter days.

The rock wall

The fact that the 4-wheel drive red SUV was scaling the rock wall and supernaturally flying over it is a figure of a latter-day Church full of believers who will move in the prophetic anointing that breaks the barriers of natural, earthly limitations. The rock wall speaks of God's Spirit nature, since, as we have seen before, "rocks" in Scripture are a figure of the manifestation of spirit nature. The rock speaks of the fortress of Zion (2 Samuel 5:6-10) that God will establish in these latter days that will tear down the Amorite strongholds in the spiritual atmosphere of the Earth. This fortress will serve as a haven for all those who seek after God's kingdom and His righteousness:

"1Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. 2From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. 3For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. 4I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.5For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. 6Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: and his years as many generations. 7He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him. 8So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows." (Psalm 61:1-8)

[Notice that this psalm speaks of seeking God's protection in the context of those who long to abide in God's truth, who fear God, and who want to live out the vows they have made before Him]

The waterfall

The clear water that was running down like a waterfall is a figure of the prophetic teaching that God is beginning to pour down upon His Church in these latter days. As we shared in a previous word, the Lord will pour prophetic teaching in these latter days that will be laden with apostolic judgments. This prophetic rhema word will come directly from Heaven, uncontaminated by the Girgashite, earthly thinking of man.

October 3, 2004

The date of the dream also has prophetic significance. October is month number 10, and, as we have seen before, the number "10" refers to the final stretch of sacrifice that we must be willing to suffer in Christ to receive the "crown of life" (which points to the prophetic ministry). The number "3" speaks of operating as three-dimensional beings (body, soul, and spirit). Therefore, "October 3" speaks of the days when believers will move in the true prophetic anointing and will manifest the spirit nature that has been hidden inside of them.

The tsunamis that flooded South Asia happened on December 26, 2004, 84 days after sister Donna received this dream. 84 equals 28 times 3. As we have said before, the number "28" speaks of perfection, and the number "3" speaks of three-dimensional beings. Girgashites seek perfection in the realm of their earthly nature, forsaking the pursuit to manifest their spirit nature. Therefore, 28 times 3 speaks of the Church finally understanding that perfection will come only after believers begin to seek the manifestation of their spirit nature.

October 3, 2004 was day #277 of year 2004. As I pondered this, the Lord impressed "Isaiah 27:7" in my heart. As I pondered on "28 times 3", the Lord impressed "Isaiah 28:3" in my heart. If you look carefully, you will see that the passage in the middle of these two verses is strongly related to the dream:

"7Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him? 8In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind. 9By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up. 10Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof. 11When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour. 12And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel. 13And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem. 1Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! 2Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand. 3The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:" (Isaiah 27:7-28:3)

The 84 days between sister Donna's dream and the south Asia tsunamis also points to Psalm 84:

"5Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. 6Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. 7They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God." (Psalm 84:5-7)
