Train of thought

The Dramatic battle

{This train of thought is in response to the posting "Should we continue?" posted 5 days earlier}

I have been filled with an urgency and pressing desire to write to you ever since receiving your latest posting, "Should We Continue?", but, because it filled me with such an enormous number of issues to think about in depth, in the Lord's presence, I have waited until today. I pray with all that is in me that He provide the words and all that He would have me write.

So much of what you wrote you were feeling and experiencing could have been taken out of the pages of my life, during the same timeframe, that is, in the days leading up to and immediately following May 11, 2009. I had been looking forward to that day with great hope and expectation, until approximately two weeks prior to its arriving.

At that time, one day while walking, a heavy feeling seemed to fall upon me from above, a blanket of sadness and a realization. It was this: May 11th would not be heralding joyful events and happenings indicative of vast and deep spiritual changes in America. It would, instead, begin a period of intense judgments, of hardships, scarcity, and the proliferation of what I can only describe as foul, rotting corruption and evil. As horrible as that sounds, it was what I sensed. The reason this had to be was that we, the Church in America, had not "come to our senses"; the church system had not cracked, had not begun to crumble and fall. It needed to be brought down through extreme measures. I was so saddened, so depressed, but also, fully willing to do whatever I could, to endure whatever may be required in order to serve. This message was reinforced as I watched the news or tried to listen to supposed Christian messages on TBN and other stations. It was confirmed when, one morning in late April, watching the early morning show "Fox and Friends", they had on as guests two co-pastors of a megachurch in Houston, Texas who were there, ostensibly, to promote an appearance they were to make in a few days' time at Madison Square Garden. When one of the hosts asked them what they thought of obama's comment that America was no longer a Christian nation, their response made me want to vomit. It went something like this:

"Well, we would LIKE to think that he meant that we're a nation of many diversities and religions and that there's no reason why we all shouldn't get along and be tolerant of each other."

Fools! Cursed fools! While I agree that America is a nation of, at best, lukewarm Christianity, righteousness cannot be joined to unrighteousness. Major gulfs of differences cannot be glossed over with mere platitudes. It makes me sick that pastors such as these are winning hundreds of thousands of believers (?) to them and, undoubtedly, filling their storehouses to overflowing through their offerings!

I have proceeded with my life with this attitude and a sense of "plodding along", pressing through heavy muck and mire  each day since the "blanket" fell on me. The atmosphere everywhere has felt heavy and dense. I feel like I'm in a completely different world than everyone else. They seem to be going about the usual stuff in life as usual. I, on the other hand, keep looking at them, speaking to them in my heart and mind, saying, "Don't you see? Doesn't anything seem wrong to you? Are you not feeling a sense of impending doom?" I, too, feel invisible and unheard. I know this may sound melodramatic, but it is the truth. My heart is so heavy, I seem to pour out tears and crying at odd moments; even sometimes when I'm in a public place. I find myself turning my head, getting things under control, just not to attract strange looks. In my personal life, I have been filled with a sense of unrest. I have the sense that I may be moving (I don't know where); I have the feeling that there is to be an imminent collapsing of the economy, or perhaps, another terrorist attack, this time, of major proportions. As I write this, I also question myself and wonder if I'm not being an alarmist. Perhaps, it is only MY life that needs a thorough spiritual rebuilding. Nevertheless, I feel that America is on the brink of some kind of catastrophe.

When I awoke, at an early hour, on May 11, I immediately recalled a "hearing" which I had had just prior to falling asleep that night. In it, I saw a male newscaster, and he was proclaiming, with emotion and a sense of anticipation, "The plan is NOW CHANGED!" His voice then faded. I couldn't hear what was being said but had the sense that the station had paused for a commercial break and that he (it sounded like Shepard Smith of Fox News) was proclaiming this statement with such drama as an enticement to continue watching and listening. I fell asleep and had a LONG dream. As with so many of my dreams in recent weeks and months, I am working with a group of people, none of whose faces I can see. We work all night long, day after day, tirelessly bringing about the conditions to produce the latter rain. I know this is the nature of our work. I sense it almost every night and often wake up tired, as if I have been traveling to distant places and working on different projects, always, with groups of others who remain anonymous. On this particular evening, I am again working with others, only this time, it seems there is an urgency about the work. We are all being pressed into extraordinary duties, more taxing, more demanding, and more short of time than ever before. And it is a battle we are fighting. A critical moment in that battle. I have been sent to a place in America which seems to be in the West: it's a small airfield surrounded by miles and miles of open dry land. It reminds me of Texas or somewhere in the Southwest. I am at this airstrip and am being trained to direct and assist small, private aircraft, one- and two-engine planes, to take off and fly. I have finished my (brief!) training and am now standing at the head of a runway, a flag in each hand, [just] like a Landing Signal Officer. Planes have been continually taking off, one after another, as I step into position on this, my first assignment. I'm directing the next plane in line. As I stand there, a businessman, in a business suit and carrying a briefcase, literally jumps into the cockpit from above, his necktie flying back over his left shoulder. As he is taxiing towards me, he excitedly shouts to me, "I have to fly ... to the New York Isle!" I wake up and sense that the "plan" HAS changed, that it has to do with New York (Manhattan is sometimes called "Manhattan Island"), but I don't know in what way.

An odd incident happened later that morning as I was walking through the parking lot of the YMCA, thinking about the meaning of the dream and vision, and holding my new (black and red) cell phone in my hand. My attention was caught by the frantic cries of a red-winged black bird, as he bravely, gallantly, tried to dislodge from the top of a light pole a large hawk, who had positioned himself there, [had] zeroed in on the bird's young in their nest, and [was] waiting for the right moment to snatch one of them. But this little bird kept "screaming" at the hawk, directly to his face, and punctuated his screams with repeated dive bombings against the hawk from behind and from above. It was an amazing drama. I couldn't go into the building until I saw the end of it. It went on for some 10-12 minutes, with nothing apparently being accomplished by the little bird. It seemed as if those babies would be stolen by that robber. But the bird kept at it, over and over and over, doggedly, incessantly. FINALLY! Suddenly! The hawk just flew away! From what I could see, FAR AWAY, out of sight! By this time, an elderly gentleman had joined me and was captured by the scene as well. When the hawk flew off, we both let out a spontaneous cheer. I somehow felt a little relief and a moment of shared triumph of good over evil: perhaps we remnant (I pray to God that I may be accounted worthy!) might just be allowed to save The Day.

This past Thursday, May 6, I awoke very early from a long dream in which I was working on finding a course or path or trail across the country by which to save and accomplish our (usual) work. But just before waking, an odd thing happened. The land I was studying, apparently on a screen, suddenly was blocked from my view by one of those "function" or "menu" screens. I was almost frantic to return to where I'd been and the only words which I could think of were these: "ESCAPE! EXIT!" Then, it all faded and I woke up. I have been trying to understand what the Lord was telling me but can't yet get it. Somehow, it seems as if I (we?) should leave -- but leave or exit what? The country? The efforts? I don't know. I am in a limbo over it all.

Remnant businessman

As I was pasting sister Carol's words from her email onto this page, the Lord drew my attention to the words "business man" that sister Carol had written, and He prompted me to combine them into the single word "businessman". As I did so, I received this subtle but real impression in my spirit that there was something important hidden behind this word. As I then sat down to meditate on the words above, I remained clueless as to the meaning of the May 11 dream in which it was being certified that "the plan had changed". After several hours, the Lord suddenly reminded me of the word "businessman", and he prompted me to do a search for this word amongst previous postings. Interestingly enough, this word only appears 5 times amongst the many hundreds of thousands of words posted on this website, appearing once in each of the following 5 postings:

Article "What is a false prophet?", posted in April 2004

In this posting, the word "businessman" is mentioned in the following context:

When a member is in terrible financial debt, pastors get all worried and concerned, and start praying to God for supernatural financial provision, without asking God to help them discern the underlying spiritual root of the debt. The congregation member could be in debt because of irresponsible spending, because he is stealing God's tithe, or because he is a merciless businessman who ruthlessly sues any client who owes him the least bit of money. When a congregation member gets cancer, most pastors get all concerned and pray to God for healing to be manifested, without ever asking God to help them discern the underlying spiritual root of the disease. Anything that is "inconvenient" is automatically labeled as the "devil's work", but there is a passage of Scripture that is ignored in the hearts of most pastors

Article "The Amorites", posted on 12 June 2004

In this posting, the word "businessman" is mentioned in the following context:

Peter's third denial, in John 18:27, cost him the evangelistic anointing on his life. Why? Because the one confronting him asked him if he had been with Jesus at the garden. The garden speaks of a place with "earth", which points to the Girgashite spirit, which we studied in a previous article. As we will see in a future article (God willing), Simon Peter the fisherman was a man under a strong Girgashite influence in his life, and it was precisely when Jesus broke this influence (Luke 5:1-11) that He called him to be a mighty evangelist, a "fisher of men". Simon had been a practical businessman all of his life, and it was only when Jesus broke this Girgashite practicality that Simon woke up to the higher calling on his life, which was to be a mighty evangelist of God. When the servile Girgashite of John 18:27 confronted Simon about being in the garden, he was, in a spiritual sense, reminding him of his Girgashite roots, thereby calling him to resign from that "lofty ambition" of being a mighty evangelist for God.

Train of thought "Grand Central explosion", posted on 3 September 2007

In this posting, the word "businessman" is mentioned in the following context:

Besides the above tragedy, the Pan Am Building was also known for the spectacular suicide of successful businessman Eli M. Black. On February 3, 1975, Eli Black shattered a window on the 44th floor using his briefcase and then jumped to his death on Park Avenue.

Article "The humanity project preserved", posted on 11 February 2008

In this posting, the word "businessman" is mentioned in the following context:

When human beings like Jesus who are apostolically righteous and prophetically sacrificial appear on the scene, a door of kairos opportunity opens. Those around them must then "seize the day", acting as true evangelists who are quick to seize opportunities to conquer new ground. To squander such a kairos door of opportunity is equivalent to a businessman squandering a market opportunity to take his company to unprecedented heights, or to a military commander who squanders a short-lived opportunity to surprise his enemy and utterly defeat him. Those of you who are evangelists (i.e.- people with a drive to conquer and win) know how painful it is to realise that you have squandered a precious opportunity to squash your enemy. Those who are indifferent to the battle feel no such pain. They can see the kairos door open and close and act as if it were no big deal, as if nothing relevant had happened. By contrast, those who forge the opening of the door, those who are apostolically righteous and prophetically sacrificial, are thrown into Sheol depression and despair when those around them do not seize the opportunity they have so expensively opened. Jesus gave Jerusalem a golden opportunity to see the fullness of God's Glory, but Jerusalem squandered it. Shortly after that, Jesus was sent to the depressing depths of Sheol (both figuratively and literally). It is ironic, but those who open the kairos door of God's Glory for others are the first to pay the price when that door is squandered by others.

Question & Answer "Visionary", posted on 9 June 2008

In this posting, the word "businessman" is mentioned in the following context:

Interestingly enough, Tony Rezko is a Syrian-born businessman, as indicated on bbc.co.uk

Of the 5 posts above, the one that the Lord immediately drew me to was the "Grand Central explosion" word, especially because of the businessman's "briefcase" that is mentioned in that word; this is due to the fact the businessman in sister Carol's dream carried a briefcase as he jumped into the plane's cockpit. Interestingly enough, that was the only time (prior to this posting) that we had ever used the word "briefcase". The fact that the (real-life) businessman mentioned in that word used the briefcase to leap to his death from the 44th floor was even more surprising to me, especially when I read what the Lord had had us write about the spiritual meaning of the number "44".

A few weeks ago, as I was walking home, I heard a very strong word in my spirit. Even though I cannot share with you the detail of what I heard, I can say to you that it involved the number "43" and the reaching of a sad and tragic end. The spiritual relevance of what I heard was sadly confirmed when, only a few of days later, a site visitor, named Linda Gray, emailed us for the first time, and the first thing she wrote was that she had been seeing the number "43" everywhere and that she knew there was a strong message behind it. Up until then, I had always seen the number "43" in a positive light, but, after the sad thing I heard that night, I began to "dread" that number. It was not until a few hours ago, as I read what we had posted on Eli Black, that I finally began to understand what the Lord was trying to let me know. As we said then, the number "44" speaks of a remnant interceding for a latter-rain, for a "national" revival. In this context, therefore, the number "43" speaks of a nation that fell one step short of interceding for revival, leading to the sad and tragic end of any hope of revival in the present generation. "Coincidentally", as I was typing the words above, the Lord made me hear on television that the lead singer for the Scottish group "Big Country" committed suicide at age 43. This emphasises how close this current American generation has come to killing the manifestation of God's revival in their own lifetime. The vision of a "big country" that God had for America was about to come to a sad and tragic end. As some of you may know, the greatest hit that "Big Country" had in America was the song "In a big country", whose lyrics go as follows (the spiritual connection is self-explanatory):

{Lyrics adapted from lirama.net}

I never saw you look like this without a reason
Another promise fallen through, another season passes by you
I never took the smile away from anybody's face
And that's a desperate way to look for someone who is still a child

[Chorus]

In a big country
Dreams stay with you
Like a lover's voice
Fires the mountainside
Stay alive

I'm not expecting to grow flowers in the desert
But I can live and breathe and see the sun in wintertime

CHORUS

So take that look out of here, it doesn't fit you
Because it's happened doesn't mean you've been discarded
Pull up your head off the floor, come up screaming
Cry out for everything you ever might have wanted
I thought that pain and truth were things that really mattered
But you can't stay here with every single hope you had shattered

The lack of a "nation-oriented" intercession for the latter rain is reflected in the foolish ministers mentioned by sister Carol, who appeared on the Fox News Channel saying that there is no reason why America should not be "a nation where all religions can co-exist", which proves that they do not visualise a day when America will be a nation whose spiritual atmosphere is utterly saturated with the presence of the God of Israel, the God of the Jewish Messiah who died at Golgotha 2 millennia ago. Obviously, this will be accomplished, not by military or political imposition (à la Muslim fundamentalism), but through spiritual warfare that releases literal transformation (and even literal death) through spiritual means. It is a warfare that longs for the manifestation of the True God and the True and Full nature of man that God intended from the beginning. The manifestation of Comprehensive Truth means proving all other options as either false or incomplete. There is no two ways about it. You cannot expose something as true without proving all other options false.

The reason why the foolish ministers were unwilling to speak of an America filled with the presence of God is because the only "fullness" they are ultimately interested in is in the "fullness" of their church buildings. As long as their buildings are full of people, and, as long as their ministries are prosperous, they couldn't care less what happens to America's spiritual atmosphere. They would care about that atmosphere being filled with God's presence, but only if that leads to their ministries being successful, for they have turned their ministries into the end pursued, without realising that they were intended to be the means to pursue the enabling of God's people and the refilling of the Earth's spiritual atmosphere with God's Awesome Presence:

"15Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all." (Ephesians 1:15-23)

The sad thing about the American Church and about the ministers who rule over it is that they believe that 'the Gospel's purpose is the "salvation" of as many people as possible'. Even though this is technically true, the meaning that the American Church and her ministers ascribe to the word "salvation" makes the statement abominably false. As we have studied before, Scripture reveals that "salvation" is much more than getting someone to repeat some "prayer of salvation" so as to save them from an eternal stay at the "Hell Hotel". By contrast, the Church and her ministers have turned "salvation" into a sales pitch that coaxes people into repeating a prayer, which leads to the entry into the "fold" of many (Ammonite) people who are not truly repentant and who see the recited "prayer" more as insurance policy against eternal suffering in hell than as a deep recognition of their need to change before God. Therefore, when you take the word "salvation" the way the Church understands it, the idea of equating the  "Gospel's purpose" with the "salvation" of as many people as possible is as stupid as claiming that the goal of the Ministry of Education (or "Department of Education") is to get as many students as possible enrolled in primary (or "elementary") school. Isn't its goal, instead, to forge an entire nation of educated professionals who can prosper on their own and who can enable the prosperity of others? It seems as if, to most believers, there is very little to Christianity after you get "saved" other than attending Church and getting others "saved", all of which turns Christianity into a simple pyramid scheme, a Ponzi scheme in which salespeople get their "real" commission from getting other salespeople into the business without the actual product ever being sold. All of these words might enlighten those with a heart open to God's will, but, to the simplistic soul that is bent on a "simple" Gospel, all of these words are utterly meaningless, but such a soul shall be held accountable by God for her arrogant, lazy, and dismissive simplicity.

From all of the above, the following can be concluded regarding the businessman who flew to "the New York isle" in the dream: He represents a change in the way the Lord decided to approach America as a result of her continued spiritual indifference. The American Church, including most of America's "spiritual best", are used to being approached and treated by American "ministers" who behave like businessmen pursuing natural interests. These "businessmen" are utterly self-serving, seeing the "sheep" as a means to enlarge their ministry rather than the other way around. They are ruthless in demanding what is "owed" them, especially when it comes to financial resources and ministerial reverence, but they spend little time worrying about the manifestation of God's ministerial endowments and spiritual potential in the people who serve them. This explains the reference to the "merciless businessman who ruthlessly sues any client who owes him the least bit of money" in the "false prophet" word mentioned above. As a result, the believers who serve under these "businessmen" operate under a paradigm of external, visible coercion in order to give, and they measure a ministry's results by external parameters such as buildings purchased, religious events organised, and number of attendees. Instead of measuring a ministry's value by the growth that it has produced inside of them, they measure a ministry's value by the external growth of the ministry itself. Thus, the ministry becomes a self-serving entity; it becomes the "end" that its members must pursue, instead of being the "means" to achieve true and ever-increasing spiritual growth in those who come into contact with it. If a ministry is producing invisible but transcendental growth in others, it will remain of little value to most believers, unless it begins to manifest "growth" that is measured by traditional, visible parameters. If a ministry is not constantly coercing the act of "giving" because it is not focused on producing external and visible growth, most believers are not led to giving, since they are used to the external voice of a "businessman" pressuring them into funding external projects. They do not rely on the invisible voice of the Spirit to determine who deserves to be enabled and who shouldn't, which leads to "business as usual" continuing within the American Church system.

Due to the above, those who begin to "minister" in one way or another eventually feel pressured to work within the corrupt "business" paradigm that has been established by the Church's moneychangers and dove sellers. This is why the Lord had us speak of Simon being a "practical businessman" in the Amorites article mentioned above. As Simon stood with the faithful followers of the Amorite religious leaders (John 18:24-27), he was being persuaded and pressured by them into renouncing his spiritual calling as an "evangelist", as "a persuader of others". Had he done so, he would have inevitably returned to his previous "professional" practice. Instead of being one of the "12 apostles" who helped jumpstart the spread of Christianity, he would have gone back to Bethsaida to continue with his "fishing business", a business he had been very skilled at. In the same way, whenever those of the remnant begin to "minister", they are pressured into surrendering the higher spiritual calling that God has placed before them, and they are forced into adopting the traditional business paradigms the the rest of the Church (the followers of the Amorites) are so used and responsive to. True remnant believers, however, adopt the attitude of choosing between a "true ministry" and "no ministry at all". A true remnant believer would rather give up "spiritual ministry" altogether than have a half-hearted "ministry" that will, at the end, be no different than all the earthbound ministries around it. That is the decision I was personally being led to as I sat on that Central Park bench on May 30, 2009.

As we share above, the Lord led us in an earlier posting to talk about the suicide of businessman Eli M. Black, who shattered the 44th floor of the Pan Am Building and jumped to his death on Park Avenue. It somewhat amazes me to consider how this correlates with my trip to the Manhattan Island on May 30, 2009, given that I pondered the end of my "public ministry" whilst sitting on a Central Park bench (which correlates with "Park" Avenue), and given that the Lord sent me to walk down 6th Avenue, which is known to non-New-Yorkers as "the Avenue of the Americas" (this correlates with "Pan Am", given that "Pan Am" is short for "Pan American", which means "covering all of the Americas"). In a sense, the Lord was sending me to Manhattan to plan the throwing of my intercession for national revival in America from the "44"th floor, especially because of the way America was lined up along "Pan Am Avenue" to honour people such as obama who practice "business as usual", people who practice self-serving business, people who are willing to hinder the "spiritual traffic" of others and squander other people's resources in order to satisfy personal whims and aggrandise their personal spotlight at the expense of other people's futures.

As the Amorite mountain of the enemy looms large, and as its influence continues to be fed by practically everyone (either through active support or through indifference), a strong pressure is placed on the remnant to give up their spiritual calling and go back to their "regularly scheduled programming". This is why the word "businessman" appears in the "Amorites" posting in the context of Peter being pressured into surrendering his evangelistic calling and returning to his former earthbound, practical business life. If this were to happen, if the remnant were ordered by God to call off the spiritual assault on the "beaches of Normandy", America (along with the UK and the world) would have squandered a mighty kairos door of opportunity to see God's glory manifested on Earth. This is the reason why the word "businessman" appears in such a context in the "Humanity project preserved" posting. Instead of supporting the "humanity project" that God wants to develop, America is bent on supporting businessmen with hidden agendas. This is the reason why the word "businessman" appears in the "Visionary" posting in the context of Tony Rezko, the shady Chicago businessman who helped finance obama's political career in Chicago, and who thus made it possible for obama to eventually have a crowd of adoring fans lined up along "the Avenue of the Americas" in New York waiting to see him on May 30, 2009.

The fact that Tony Rezko is Syrian has spiritual significance. For several years now, the Lord has impressed upon my heart that Syria is an Amorite-Hittite nation. The name for Syria in Hebrew is "Aram", which literally means "exalted"; therefore, "Aram" points to the Amorite spirit of self-exaltation. On the other hand, Syria is, as you may know, a nation known for sponsoring terrorism, which points to the Hittite spirit of terror. It is no coincidence, therefore, that its current president is a rather tall man who was born on September 11, 1965, meaning that his current age, at the time of this writing, is 43 (the man's tallness points to the spirit of Amorite giants, and his birth date points to 9/11 Hittite terrorism; his age points to the spirit that plans to end any hopes of "national revival" in this generation).

Eli Eli

Going back to businessman "Eli Black", the name "Eli" has spiritual significance in all of the above. As you may know, "Eli" was the name of the high priest that prompted God to renege on His promise for him; this reneging on the Lord's part was caused by Eli's indifference towards the unrighteousness of those who were dear to his soul (1 Samuel 2:27-36, 1 Kings 2:27). In a different sense, however, the name "Eli" points to the clamour heard from Calvary on the day the Messiah died:

"46And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? 47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias. 48And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink. 49The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him." (Matthew 27:46-49)

Therefore, the word "Eli" points to a desperate clamour from the remnant, a clamour motivated by the "forsaking" (i.e.- indifference) carried out by those around them. Spiritually speaking, the remnant were called to emit this clamour once, and they did when America forsook the remnant spirit in 2005, and this 2005 "forsaking" was so intense that it led to a 4-year delay. However, the remnant were not being called by God to emit this clamour again, for Christ was crucified once, not twice, meaning that God will not call us to go through green-horse death once and again for the sake of the same specific vision or purpose:

"23It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: 25Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; 26For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." (Hebrews 9:23-28)

Notice how the Spirit declares in verse 28 that, once the Messiah rises from his death, He is to appear a second time, not to die again, but rather to complete the salvation that He started through his death. When the Messiah appears a second time, He does not come to engage amongst men in a culture of sin, as He did the first time He came. Instead, He comes to obliterate that "sin culture" (i.e.- the culture where the soul rules over the spirit) in order to institute the Kingship of the spirit over the Earth. In the same way, those who operate in the Messiah's anointing are called to "die forsaken" one time on behalf of each vision they are called to fight for, but, on their "second appearance", they are not called to "die forsaken" again; instead, they are called to overtake the "sin system" that toppled them in their "first appearance". Those who crucify them on their "second appearance" are in effect committing spiritual suicide and are provoking God into forsaking them for good:

"6If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. 7For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned." (Hebrews 6:6-8)

As indicated in Matthew 27:47 above, those who heard the Messiah exclaim "Eli, Eli" thought that He was referring to "Elijah". This has spiritual significance. As you may know, Elijah had a moment of "failure in the flesh" when he fled from Jezebel and asked God to take him away, thinking that he was "the last of the Mohicans" (1 Kings 19:1-18). Therefore, the reference to "Elijah" by those who beheld the suffering of the Messiah with indifference points to the accusation that often comes against the remnant when they cry out from the depths of their soul, declaring that they have been forsaken. This accusation boils down to the following:

"Everything is OK!! There is no need to feel so desperate!! The problem is that you are allowing the enemy to get to you, and you are allowing him to fool you into focusing too much on yourself, just as he did with Elijah. There is no need to feel that all is lost!! The plan is still in place, and God will make sure it comes to pass!! When you start to think that it is all about you, you lose sight of God's power."

Such an accusation usually emanates from people with a strong pastoral spirit, people who are generally more focused on "minimising" the remnant's sense of pain and loss than on getting to the heart of the matter. They thus turn into false prophets that stroke the remnant's hair saying "All is OK, OK" when, in fact, all is not OK. As they simplistically dismiss the remnant's cry of desperation, attributing it to a mere "emotional overreaction of the flesh", and as they stand there watching the remnant die, telling the remnant to get down from the cross (because, in their view, the cross  is "imaginary" and "self-inflicted"), they are unaware of the fact that they are beholding the death of their own calling, the death of God's vision for them. These believers are convinced that, if things do not happen, it is because God does not want them to happen, and they shift the entire burden of human events over to God, without realising that God has placed that burden upon them (Psalm 115:16, Genesis 1:28). These simplistic believers are not aware that human history is a "battle of wills" in which man has been given the prerogative to decide what happens or does not happen on Earth. Obviously, after man has made his decision, consequences will come from above, but God's perfect will for man cannot be fulfilled until the hindering wills are removed, and they are removed through human wills that are aligned with His perfect will; these are wills cloaked in visible, human flesh who are "willing" to wage costly warfare against the hindering wills until those wills are either overcome or obliterated. If the hindering wills in a "city" cannot be conquered, the entire city is cursed unto destruction, meaning that the victory over the hindering wills will not be followed by a "spiritual revival", as the Lord clearly states in Hebrews 6:8 above. This is what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah, whose hindering wills were unwilling to surrender to God, forcing God to condemn them to total destruction. This is different from what happened to Nineveh when Jonah appeared in their midst. Jonah had already "been crucified once" (when he was swallowed into the fish's belly ... Matthew 12:40), and, on his "second appearance", he spoke a word of stern warning against the hindering wills in Nineveh. Had Nineveh "crucified him again", Nineveh would have sealed her own destruction. However, since they decided to honour Jonah rather than crucify him, Nineveh was spared, and "spiritual revival" from God reached that land. In short, those who point to "Elijah" (as they behold the remnant being crucified again) have failed to understand that the cross that the remnant are hanging on is the cross of their indifference. They have failed to understand that God has decreed that the course of human events is "up to them", not "up to Him". They have failed to perceive the sin of their own passivity. They have failed to understand why Jesus said "the harvest is truly plentiful, but the labourers are few; pray that the Lord of the harvest may send forth labourers" (Matthew 9:37-38). If everything is "up to God", why would the Lord of the harvest need "labourers", and why would Jesus tell us to pray for labourers to be sent? If one "labourer" (i.e.- one willing soul) were enough, why would Jesus tell us to pray for more? Doesn't this point to a numeric "cut-off" point, a minimum number of souls required to make the whole project feasible? Sodom had one soul willing to cooperate with God, yet that one soul (the soul of Lot) and his family were not enough to carry out the project of restoring and reviving Sodom, regardless of how much God may have wanted to carry it out:

"23And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? 24Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? 25That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? 26And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. 27And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes: 28Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it. 29And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake. 30And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there. 31And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty’s sake. 32And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake. 33And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place." (Genesis 18:23-32)

There was a cut-off point of "ten" in Sodom. Once Abraham got down to this number, he dared not go below it, for he was standing before the face of the Lord, and his intercession was therefore constrained by God's righteousness. Some preachers foolishly and naively argue that Abraham made a mistake by stopping at "ten" and that, had he been willing to go down even lower, Sodom would have been spared, especially since Lot lived in Sodom. If we assume for one second that this is true, wouldn't that be even more proof that the course of human events is "up to the will of men". Otherwise, why would Sodom's salvation depend on Abraham lowering the number below "ten"? If it is all "up to God", wouldn't God have spared Sodom regardless of Abraham's will?

Fellow believer, on April 13, 2009, sister Carol (the sister whose word we are posting here) sent us a letter telling me that (even though she had never seen me in the natural) she had seen me "outstretched and hanging on a cross" and that she was floating in the air, with her hands firmly gripping my arms in an effort to uphold my body's weight and prevent me asphyxiating. When I read those words, my "knee-jerk" reaction was to say, "No; if I am on a cross, they should let me die; that is what the cross is for; the soul is always against death on the cross". Yet, as I said those words within me, something didn't seem to make sense. It was only after a while that I realised that sister Carol was trying to prevent me dying from a "second crucifixion". A few weeks later, on May 9, 2009, sister Linda Gray, the same sister who emailed us about the number "43", shared the following in that same email:

I was walking across a mound covered with dirt. Something was protruding from the ground on top of the mound of dirt. As it began to move upward I realized it was some sort of wooden beam. As it moved up further, I saw that it was a cross. Then I saw Christ there on the cross dying. I couldn't look at Him, but a deep sense of grief consumed me. Distraught, I buried my face in my hands, then I cried, "Not again! He has already been crucified!" In shock, I awaken from just the sheer mental impact of it. I became cognitive before I could move myself, or, to be more specific, the part of my brain that controls my muscles was still asleep, but the part that controls cognition was wide awake. I realized I was in a strange position, my hands were crossed at my wrist above my head and my feet were crossed at the ankles, my head was lying over on my right side with my chin on my chest. I couldn't move but I was able to observe the position. A few minutes later I was able to move and was puzzled about my reaction to the dream. The afternoon and evening following the experience, I felt like I had had a glass of wine, not drunk but warm and a bit dizzy. In the days following I dismissed it as just a severe reaction to the Biblical account of the crucifixion.

To my knowledge, at the time, my recollection was that Jesus was on the cross with His arms stretched out on the horizontal bar of the cross. That's how I remembered the pictures. Subsequently, a few days later, I heard a pastor on the radio describe the crucifixion in detail, and, strangely, he explained that the arms of the one to be crucified were nailed above their head and the hands were crossed at the wrist. As I remember it, he said that it had something to do with it limiting their breathing and it made the crucifixion more agonizing.

Mind you, the thought that came into my heart about the number "43" a few days earlier was so dreadful that I had not shared it with anyone, and I had shared my thoughts on sister Carol's letter with practically no one. We had never had any communication with sister Linda prior to her May 9, 2009 email, yet she was expressing thoughts and concerns that I had whispered deep within me. The crucifixion position described by sister Linda is even more disconcerting, given that such a position meant that no one could support the crucified person's arms, implying that, if believers such as I were being "crucified", there would be no hope for others coming to our aid because they would not have a way to uphold our arms the way sister Carol did in her vision. The fact that the "pastor on the radio" confirmed this crucifixion position to sister Linda indicates that the pastoral spirit that rules the Church was indeed trying to say to people such as me that we were not to expect any support to come our way. The motionlessness that sister Linda experienced was a figure of the "spiritual motionlessness" in America's best, a motionlessness born out of passive indifference about the manifestation of God's transcendental purposes on Earth.

After the indifferent onlookers mistook Jesus' cry of "Eli" as an "Elijah reaction", Matthew 27:48 declares that one of these onlookers ran to get some vinegar, filled a sponge with it, put the sponge in a reed, and offered it to Jesus. They then laughed, saying, "Let's see if Elijah comes to his aid". Vinegar is inherently bitter; therefore, we can say that the sponge with vinegar was their way of saying,

Your fate is to die in bitterness. Just accept it. No one will come to support you. Just absorb the bitterness like a sponge and live out the rest of your short life.

The "reed" used to offer Jesus the sponge points to the following two passages (these passages include the first two appearances in the original text of the Greek word kalamos, the same word that is translated as "reed" in Matthew 27:48):

"7And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? 8But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. 9But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. 10For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 11Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. 13For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come. 15He that hath ears to hear, let him hear." (Matthew 11:7-15)

[Verse 7 above has the first appearance in the original text of kalamos (translated as "reed")]

"14Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him. 15But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; 16And charged them that they should not make him known: 17That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, 18Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. 19He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. 20A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory. 21And in his name shall the Gentiles trust." (Matthew 12:14-21)

[Verse 20 above has the second appearance in the original text of kalamos (translated as "reed"). The word "Gentiles" in verse 21 was mistranslated from the Greek word ethnos, which literally means "nations"]

Notice how the first appearance of kalamos (in Matthew 11:7) is in the context of (red-horse) John the Baptist, a man who died without seeing the kingdom that he fought for (Matthew 11:12) manifested. In this passage, the Lord equates John the Baptist with Elijah, which points to the "Elijah references" made by the indifferent onlookers at Golgotha. The second appearance of kalamos (in Matthew 12:20) points to the black horse of the Apocalypse. As we began to study in a previous article, Matthew 12 is intimately related to the 4 horses of the Apocalypse. We already saw how Matthew 12:1-8 points to the white horse and how Matthew 12:9-14 points to the red horse. If the Lord allows it, we will be posting a follow-up to our previous article describing how the rest of Matthew 12 points to the other 2 horses of the Apocalypse. Suffice it to say, for now, that Matthew 12:14-21 above is speaking of the remnant's black-horse stage. This is a stage where the "reed" of the religious establishment has been bruised (by the red horse) but is yet to be visibly broken. This is a stage of anonymous sounds emanating from the wilderness of black-horse scarcity, a stage in which deep underlying issues are dealt with. The Lord knows that visibly breaking the reed immediately after it has been bruised by the red horse may be "faster" but is utterly useless because the reed will simply grow back from its hidden (human-will) roots. Therefore, the remnant who follow Him must be willing to go into the black-horse stage (of anonymous warfare) and the green-horse stage (of Death and Sheol) in order to forge the true regeneration of the nations of the Earth (Matthew 12:21).

Bitterness

Based on the above, we can conclude that the reed that was being "shoved" in Jesus' face as he hung from the cross is a figure of the religious system saying to the Messiah, "You thought you could break us; you may have bruised us, but you did not break us; we are still around. We knew you would go down before we ever would, and we were right, weren't we?". The vinegar-filled sponge on the end of the reed was the religious system's way of saying, "Die with bitterness!! We proved to be stronger than you!!". The Lord would not accept this bitterness because He was in the green-horse stage of His walk on Earth, and He knew that this green-horse defeat was part of the plan. Had He accepted the vinegar, He would have been saying that the battle had been for naught and that victory was not achievable. In essence, Jesus' bitterness would not have been so much an indictment against Him for having "failed", but, rather, an indictment against us for not allowing Him to carry out His will for us. This is similar to a person who becomes bitter over an incorrigible brother or son who refuses to change despite all the sacrifices made on his behalf. Despite the matriarchal pastors' claim to the contrary, bitterness per se is not necessarily a "sin" or a "reaction of the flesh". Its validity must be judged in terms of what triggers the bitterness. Whereas soulish pastors are inclined to simply remove the bitterness "taste bud" from the bitter person's soul (so as to numb its suffering), those in the Spirit are more inclined towards detecting the source of the bitterness. If the sense of bitterness is justified, those in the Spirit not only do not remove the bitterness, they share in it, and they join in the battle to destroy the unrighteous source causing that bitterness. By contrast, those in the soul simply retrain the bitter soul to ignore the source of the bitterness, like a person who tries to numb his sense of smell when he perceives a bad smell in the room, instead of looking for the source and removing it. They prefer to remove the batteries from the smoke alarm instead of looking for the source of the smoke. Soulish people are quick to blame the sensor and not the object being sensed. Why? Because their goal is for us all to have as "happy" a life as possible without making judgements. Setting things right is less important to them than achieving peace and happiness in the midst of unrighteousness and mediocrity. They turn Christianity into a self-help philosophy, instead of a truth system geared towards regenerating the world. There is righteous bitterness and unrighteous bitterness. It all depends on what you are bitter about.

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20)

"25A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bare him. 26Also to punish the just is not good, nor to strike princes for equity." (Proverbs 17:25-26)

[Notice how verse 25 declares that bitterness is a natural reaction in a mother with a foolish son. Notice also how the Spirit made sure that the next verse spoke of not punishing the just. In other words, it is unfair to punish the mother for being bitter (or to criticise the father for being grieved), for the punishment must be dealt out to the foolish son, who is the one provoking the justifiable bitterness (and grief).]

"18And now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river? 19Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts." (Jeremiah 2:18-19)

[Notice how verse 19 declares that it is an "evil" and "bitter" thing for the so-called "people of God" to forsake God. In other words, when God is forsaken, He justifiably considers it an evil thing that provokes bitterness in His soul. Whatever we do to one of His "little ones" we are doing it to Him (Matthew 25:31-46), meaning that to forsake His remnant and to leave them fending for themselves is to forsake God.]

"10Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears. 11And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear. 12Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place. 13I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing. 14So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me." (Ezekiel 3:10-14)

[Notice how the words of the Spirit within Ezekiel prompted him to become bitter, but it was a bitterness motivated by righteous frustration. To the matriarchal pastors, God's words are only supposed to make us feel "nice and gooey" on the inside, but, to those in the spirit, His words sometimes stir strong emotions within them, emotions such as "anger", "bitterness", and "frustration". Why? Because such believers have their souls connected to the soul of God, and, as a result, they perceive what He perceives and they feel what He feels. Our 9 emotional sensors {indignation, hope, joy, confusion, elucidation, certainty, awe, concern, and intimacy} were placed within us by God to act as "power generators" that release power into circumstances when there is something wrong with them, just as a thermostat that releases power to either heat up or cool down a home depending on the temperature it senses, so that the temperature will always be the "right" one for the moment.]

"For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs." (Habakkuk 1:6)

[Notice how God can send "bitter" people to carry out His will. Why? Because that "bitterness" is a sign of compatibility between God's soul and that army's soul regarding the task at hand. If God is outraged over a set of circumstances, He cannot send people to correct the matter unless they share in His outrage. If God is bitter over a set of protracted circumstances, He cannot send people to correct the matter unless they share in His bitterness. If they are apathetic towards the issue that outrages or embitters God, they will be useless in the battlefield. If the people being sent do not share God's sense of "haste" or "urgency", they will not carry out the task in time. As you may know, those in haste can become bitter and irritated more easily than those who are at ease. God has designed our human bodies to inject adrenaline into our system whenever we perceive an urgent matter. Thus, a heightened emotional state is not wrong per se. In fact, a lack of adrenaline in the face of a truly urgent matter is actually a bad sign, not a good sign.]

"9And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. 10And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. 11And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings." (Revelation 10:9-11)

[Notice, again, how an impartation of words from God can produce "bitterness" in the belly instead of joy. This bitterness is a manifestation of the frustration and despair you will feel as you prophesy to others (v11) who insist on resisting the spirit of the words that God has placed within you. His words may be sweet to you and bring you personal joy, but they will become bitter as you perceive the unwillingness of the human wills around you to conform to those words. Since these words are "unadulterated truth", you cannot ignore your surroundings' rejection of them, for any environment that dismisses pure truth will inevitably be permeated with death.]

Switzerland and the black plague

For some reason, as the Lord had me thinking about all of the above around D-Day, the Lord drew my attention to two things that are seemingly unrelated to all of this: "Switzerland" and "the Black Plague". On D-Day 2009, the Lord had placed an unusual expectation in my heart about whether Swiss tennis player Roger Federer would be able to win the French Open, which was the only Grand Slam title that had eluded him. To be honest with you, I am not much of a tennis fan; after the days of McEnroe, Becker, Navratilova, Graf, Agassi, and Sampras, I basically lost interest in the sport, so the 2009 French Open would not have normally been high on my "watch list". Yet, on D-Day 2009, the Lord made me understand that there would be a spiritual message behind the results of this final.

In the meantime, the Lord also had me watching a long History Channel documentary on the "Black Plague" that ravaged Europe towards the end of the Middle Ages. In it, they began to talk about a Jew called Agimet from Geneva, Switzerland. They mentioned that, in 1347, he embarked on an important business journey to Venice, but, after this was said about him, he was not mentioned at all throughout the documentary until the end, when they explained that the "flagellants" tortured him into "confessing" that a Jewish Rabbi had ordered him to poison water wells in Venice in order to start the plague; the "flagellants" were a self-whipping group of religious zealots who travelled from town to town flagellating themselves as a form of punishment, all in an effort to "convince" God to forgive the people and drive the Black Plague away. As I awaited to know what Agimet from Switzerland had to do with the whole story, the Lord kept reminding me of an odd email out of nowhere that I had received (from a person who is not a site visitor and who, as far as I know, does not even know that the site exists); this email did not have any text; it simply included a PowerPoint file with the name of Switzerland in it. This person apparently sent this email not only to me but to all of her contacts (she is not in my "contacts" list, but I was apparently in hers because of several emails I was forced to send her). Due to the odd contents of the email, and due to the fear of viruses, I chose not to open the attachment, and I eventually decided to delete the email altogether a week or so after I received it; therefore, to this day, I have no idea why this person had any reason to send me any information on Switzerland, and I have no idea what the PowerPoint presentation was about. I knew, however, that the Lord was trying to tell me something about Switzerland.

As those of you who are tennis fans may know, Roger Federer ended up winning the 2009 French Open, thus becoming only the 6th man in history to complete a "Career Grand Slam". I then began asking the Lord, "What is the meaning of this and how is it all related to the Black Plague?" Even though I have yet to understand the full answer, these are some of the thoughts that the Lord led my attention to:

According to wikipedia.org, Switzerland "is an easy place to do business", ranking 16th out of 178 countries in the "Ease of Doing Business Index" and 2nd (after Ireland) in the "Index of Economic Freedom" for 2008. Switzerland has one of the lowest taxation rates amongst developed countries, leading to an "overwhelmingly private sector economy" where many industries thrive. Because of this environment conducive to capitalist enterprise, Switzerland was, for much of the 20th century, the wealthiest country in Europe by a wide margin.

Switzerland is a landlocked alpine region. Therefore, it speaks of a spiritual stronghold and haven from which kingship can issue forth.

bullet

Switzerland is called "Confoederatio Helvetica" in Latin. This is because of the Celtic tribes of Helvetii that dominated the region in ancient times. According to wikipedia.org, the name "Helvetii" may be derived from the root elw, which appears in Welsh and means "gain" or "profit", and the prefix il, which appears in Old Irish and means "many" or "multiple". In other words, the word "Helvetii" can be translated as "multiplied profit" or "multiplied wealth". Some believe that "Helvetii" was derived from the root elu meaning "numerous" and etu meaning "grassland"; thus "Helvetii" can also be translated as "rich in grassland". This is evidence that there is a strong linkage between the Helvetii and the Spirit of Prosperity.

The History Channel documentary indicated that the Black Plague started amongst the Mongols and reached Europe through the trade routes that the Mongols established between the East and the West. A close study of Mongols reveals that they had a strong Hittite-Amorite impartation. Their Hittite nature can be discerned from the chaotic terror that Mongol hordes inflicted on their enemies, and their Amorite nature can be discerned from their ability to expand their empire and rule over vast amounts of territory (as we have shared before, the Hittite spirit is a "spirit of terror", and the Amorite spirit is a spirit of territorial conquest). The documentary also indicated that the Mongol empire had made the "world a better place for business", but, in doing so, the Mongol empire also opened it up to the Plague.

It is no coincidence, therefore, that North Korea has been "sabre-rattling" in obama's face in recent months, given that it includes territory near Manchuria (in northeastern China) that was once ruled by the Mongols; according to wikipedia.org, Korea was, for 80 years, under Mongol rule, to the point that there was much intermarriage between Korean and Mongolian princes and princesses during that period.

According to behindthename.com, the name "Roger" comes from the Germanic elements hrod and ger meaning "fame" and "spear" respectively. Therefore, it points both to the evangelistic and the prophetic endowments, given that the evangelistic endowment is associated with the broadcasting of a name (i.e.- "fame") and that "spears" and "arrows" are related to the prophetic endowment. As we have also shared before, evangelists gone bad turn into Amorites, and prophets gone bad turn into Hittites, meaning that the name "Roger" can be seen as evangelistic-prophetic in a positive sense, and as Amorite-Hittite in a negative sense.

The Black Plague spread through fleas travelling on "stowaway rats" in merchant ships. As we have shared before, rats are intimately related to the spirit of Hittite terrorism. The fact that no one could see the source of the disease points to the invisible nature of Hittite attacks. Even though rats per se do not point to the Amorite spirit, the rapid geographic spread of the black-plague disease they carried clearly points to the Amorite spirit of territorial conquest and expansion. The fact that these rats were "stowaway rats" points to the 5th-seal stage during which God's remnant are forced to hide away. As we have said before, everything that happens on God's side has a "mirror" image in the enemy's "anti-universe", and the influence of one is inversely proportional to the influence of the other. In other words, if the actions on God's side are well received by men, the effects of the actions in the enemy's anti-universe are diminished; by contrast, if the actions on God's side are rejected by men, the effects of the actions in the enemy's anti-universe are intensified. Thus, if the "stowaway" remnant souls are well received when they disembark their ships, the "stowaway rats" will immediately be squashed when they disembark; if the "stowaway" remnant believers are not well received when they disembark, the "stowaway rats" will inadvertently be well received, and their terrorising and expansive effects will be felt.

Both the fact that there are 4 Grand Slams in tennis and that a player of Federer's calibre took until 2009 to complete his career Grand Slam were God's way of emphasising that, in 2009, America's 4-year delay was over, and that the door was now wide open for the manifestation of a "Switzerland" of "spiritual prosperity" and completeness. In Hebrew, the word for "peace", shalom, has a connotation of fullness, of completeness, of an abundance that fills to overflowing, of an enveloping presence in which there is nothing lacking, nothing missing, a presence in the midst of which all emptiness is driven away. That is the peace that the remnant have been struggling to forge, but which the American Church cannot even fathom or fall in love with. Why? Because longing for such a peace takes "too much out of you"; it drains you dry and empty; it corners you into a hopeless position, like Kong on top of the Empire State Building, in love with the lofty view of a beauty the rest seem not to discern.

Engadin

As I was thinking about Switzerland, the Lord quickly drew my attention to Switzerland's "Engadin Valley". Every time I would see the name "Engadin", I immediately thought of the following passage:

"8Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed. 9And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh. 10And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many. 11But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt." (Ezekiel 47:8-11)

Notice how the word "Engadin" is similar to the word "Engedi" mentioned in verse 10 above. Notice also how "Engedi" is mentioned in the context of the River of God flowing through the Earth, which shall provide a place for "abundant fish", as opposed to the miry places of stagnation where the River shall refuse to flow (v11).

Interestingly enough, on June 23, 2009, the main Yahoo! page featured a curious news story from "Ein Gedi, Israel" entitled "Dead Sea peril: sinkholes swallow up the unwary". The report talks about a man named Eli Raz who was "peering into a narrow hole in the Dead Sea shore when the earth opened up and swallowed him". He had fallen into a 30-foot-deep pit, and he feared he would never be found, so he proceeded to "scribble his will on an old postcard". It took a search party 14 hours to finally find him and pull him from the hole unhurt. This happened 5 years ago, and Eli Raz had now decided to return to the Dead Sea to save others from the fate he had suffered (by helping to map the sinkholes that are spreading on the Dead Sea's banks); even more interesting is the fact that Yahoo! decided to feature this unusual story on its home page just as we were about to finish this word! What adds to the "coincidence" is the fact that this story speaks of "sinkholes", which correlates with the places of spiritual stagnation that are mentioned in verse 11 above, immediately after "Engedi" is mentioned in verse 10.

This story seems to be portraying the following spiritual message: It seems as if America has postponed the latter-rain revival for an entire generation, and the time period the Lord keeps placing in my heart is "30 years", which correlates with the 30-foot-deep pit that Eli Raz (who represents the remnant) fell into. Things seem to be so hopeless that the remnant have been writing their last will and testament, feeling that their time to minister in the spirit realm has been placed on serious hold (just as Eli Raz did when he began to write his will on a tourist postcard). The fact that Eli Raz could not escape from his quandary by himself is a figure of how it is not up to the remnant for the situation to change. Eli Raz required the determined effort of others in order to be rescued from his predicament. In the same way, those bearing the remnant spirit require the support of others in order to prevent the loss of an entire generation. The 14 hours that the search party had to invest to find Eli has spiritual significance. As we have shared before, the number "14" speaks of an "unmanifested remnant". Thus, the rescue of the present generation will require a group of believers who become painfully aware that the remnant have yet to be manifested at an hour when that manifestation should already be in full swing. Only those who perceive the absence of a "notorious remnant manifestation" will be capable of rescuing it from a further 30-year delay (just as those who perceived that Eli Raz was missing were the ones who found him). These will be the only ones who will be able to hear God's remnant crying "Eli, Eli" from the depths of the 30-foot pit. The fact that Eli Raz was found in real life is a hopeful sign that America might just be able to avoid the 30-year abortion of God's revival. I pray that this is the case, even though things do not look all that positive yet. It is fitting that the Yahoo! news story ends with the following words, "No quick solution is in sight ... Without a solution, the sea is expected to shrink to lose another third of its sea over the next century".

As a final comment on Engadin, it is worth saying that the Engadin valley in Switzerland is located in the canton of Graubünden, which was formed by combining three local alliances, the "Grey League", the "League of 10 jurisdictions", and Gotteshausbund, which means "The League of God's House" (as indicated on wikipedia.org). These 3 alliance names reveal the following message: "America remains in the greyness of her indecisiveness, and she must be willing to surrender the tithe that God is demanding of her in order to become the House of God".

Roland Garros

There is another reason why the Lord is emphasising the French Open in the context of all of this. As many of you may know, the French Open is also known by the name "Roland Garros", in honour of the famous French aviator who fought and died in World War I. This correlates with the businessman who flew an airplane to the New York isle in sister Carol's dream.

As indicated on wikipedia.org, Garros was already famous before World War I, having been the first man to make a non-stop flight across the Mediterranean, travelling from Fréjus to Bizerte in 1913.  Fréjus is a coastal town on France's Côte d'Azur (i.e.- "Coast of Blue", also known as the French Riviera). Bizerte, on the other hand, is a port city in northern Tunisia, which, according to wikipedia.org, is the oldest and most European city in Tunisia; Bizerte was founded around 1000 B.C. by Phoenicians from Tyre, and it was the last town to remain under French control after the rest of the country had gained independence from France (in other words, Tunisia became an "independent nation" only until Bizerte became free). As you may have discerned, all of these details are amazingly related to the current word.

In 1914, Roland Garros joined the French army to fight in World War I, and he was the first aviator to ever successfully shoot down another aircraft on 1 April 1915, using a new technology that he helped implement: a "synchronisation gear" that finally allowed planes to have forward-firing guns that could shoot through the spinning propeller in the front of the plane without hitting the blades. Interestingly enough, the "synchronisation gear" used by Garros was initially designed and patented by Swiss engineer Franz Schneider, according to wikipedia.org. After his successful downing of 1 April 1915, Garros gunned down 2 more German planes 17 days later before falling and being captured by the Germans on 18 April 1915. The Germans were able to analyse the synchronisation-gear mechanism in Garros' downed plane, and they combined it with the work they had already been doing, leading to a machine gun that allowed the Germans to shoot down many Allied aircraft in the war years that followed. In February 1918, Garros was able to escape the German POW camp he was in, and, instead of going back to his regular life, he rejoined the French army. From all of this we can discern that Roland Garros represents those remnant believers who are waging innovative "air warfare" in the heavenlies against the enemy, fighting not for personal freedom but for the freedom of entire nations. As indicated on behindthename.com, the name "Roland" literally means "famous land", which emphasises the spiritual connection between Roland Garros and an interceding remnant fighting for the evangelistic conquest of entire nations, given that the evangelistic ministry is the one most directly related to "fame" and to the "broadcasting of a name" in the spiritual atmosphere.

On 5 October 1918, Garros was shot down and killed near the French town of Vouziers in Ardennes, where his body was eventually buried. According to wikipedia.org, Vouziers was a crossroads of wheat trading during the Middle Ages, and, in April 1516 (399 years before Garros downed the first warplane in history), king Francis I re-established fairs and markets in Vouziers, thus ensuring the town's prosperity for many years to come. Therefore, we can say that Garros died at a crossroads, at a place where an important decision had to be made, a place where great prosperity lay ahead.

Garros died in air combat on 5 October 1918, one day short of what would have been his 30th birthday (6 October 1918). As we have shared before, the number "30" speaks of "ministerial maturity". Therefore, Garros' tragic death one day shy of his 30th birthday is a figure of a remnant that perish before they are allowed to see the full manifestation of the spiritual ministry that God had intended for them. Garros also happened to die 37 days shy of the end of World War 1 (on 11 November 1918). Therefore, Garros is also a figure of a remnant who die before they can see victory over the enemy fully manifested. A close study of Isaiah 37 reveals that it is a chapter strongly related to prophetic intercession. Thus, the 37 days between Garros' death and the end of World War 1 also point to how the Church has wasted away much of the remnant's prophetic intercession.

As you may know, America stubbornly hesitated to enter World War I, even after the Germans sank the British liner "Lusitania" in 1915, which had 128 Americans on board (according to wikipedia.org). Due to the influence of isolationists in America, it took America 3 years to enter the war. Had America entered sooner, the war would have ended much more quickly, and Garros would have lived to see his vision of a conquered enemy realised. America's delayed entry also contributed to the destabilisation of Russia, given that the Russian population became weary over how the Tsar was handling the protracted war. This unrest within Russia led to the Communist takeover of 1917 one month before America entered the war. Had the idiotic American isolationists not delayed America's entry into the war, the Bolsheviks would not have had the door of opportunity opened to them, which would have saved America from all the decades of heartache and resources required to eventually topple the threat of Soviet Marxism 72 years later (in the same way, had the American Church looked outwards rather than inwards between 2005 and 2008, the door of opportunity for a man of Marxist-Socialist inclinations such as korah obama would have never been opened, and America would not be staring down the decades-long barrel of the heartache that will be needed to overcome the consequences of the disastrous economic policies this bastard fool is instituting).

Evangelistic-prophetic proposition

Notice that a great deal of the things the Lord has had us mention here point in one way or another to the combination of the Amorite and Hittite spirits in a negative sense, and to the evangelistic and prophetic endowments in a positive sense. There is a reason for this. All successful businessmen have a strong impartation of the evangelistic anointing. Why? Because any "business" is, in essence, the microcosm of a "kingdom", and a conquering evangelistic endowment is required in order to make any "kingdom" flourish and spread the influence of its name. Therefore, the businessman in sister Carol's dream was flying on an "evangelistic" assignment. The fact that his necktie flew back over his left shoulder points to the left-handed prophetic anointing, meaning that he was on an evangelistic-prophetic mission. He was on an assignment to make a prophetic business proposition in America's spiritual capital, "the New York isle" (this is due to the fact that New York is to be the epicentre of America's latter-rain revival). Since the best representatives of the American Church had failed to understand the business proposal when it was whispered to them by the Holy Spirit, it became necessary for God to send a visible emissary to make the proposal more "obvious" to the American Church's dulled senses. America tends to react only to Amorite businessmen offering visible spiritual proposals that carry hidden Hittite agendas, as shown by her positive reaction to the politician from Amorite-Hittite Chicago who won over her heart by offering her deceitful Hittite promises spoken in Amorite arrogance. This is the reason why He had to change His plan from a subtle, whispered proposal to a more overt proposition. As this happened, however, America lost "bonus blessings", but the basic business proposal remained on the table. Being still an Old-Covenant Church, the American Church can only understand a language in which true spiritual laws are represented in literal, visible shadows (Hebrews 10:1), and even most of "America's best" have proven themselves slow to visualise God's plans without the need for these literal, visible props. They continue to need Old-Covenant style goading and Old-Covenant style plans and goals in order to react.

Even though the Lord is "changing His approach", He is not selling out on His truth and judgements. His "business proposal" remains righteous and prophetic in nature, just as Tamar's intentions remained righteous and prophetic in nature when she cut across Judah's path the way she did in Genesis 38:15-18 (she did what she did because Judah had proven unapproachable through purely spiritual mechanisms). The Lord is offering a "business proposal" that will turn America into a "Switzerland" of "spiritual prosperity", a "Switzerland" of "spiritual capitalism and freedom", as opposed to the "spiritual Marxism" that Korah (represented by obama in the political realm) has to offer. The Lord is offering a spiritual "economic" environment in which the "government" (i.e.- the established ministerial oligarchy) gets out of the way and allows the individual spiritual endowments of believers to flourish, as opposed to the all-embracing "nanny-state" environment that the first and second beasts have to offer. America's spiritual best, however, remain uninterested in the proposal. Most fail to visualise a "transformed land", a transformed environment, an utterly transformed landscape, for they are focusing mostly on the limited scope of their earthly lives and temporal ministries. This is the reason why Swiss tennis player Roger Federer had to complete his "Career Grand Slam" at the French Open. As you may know, the French Open is different from all of the other Grand Slams in that it is played on red clay. As we have studied before, "red clay" points to the Girgashite spirit, the spirit that focuses people on temporal concerns about self. In the life of a Girgashite, the world revolves around their earthly concerns, much as the sun revolved around the Earth in the mindset of Middle-Ages man. Girgashites are unable to fall in love with a vision that encompasses the "strangers" around them, and they are only interested in promoting projects in which they see immediate benefits for themselves and their "loved ones". Thus, when Federer finally won the French Open to complete a Career Grand Slam, it was a figure of how a righteous "Switzerland" of spiritual prosperity shall be possible in America, the UK, and the world only if the spirit of self-centredness can be overcome.

Amorite-Hittite attack

As we have studied before, the black horse comes against the spirit of Balaam, which is a Hittite-Amorite gone Girgashite. Therefore, the recurrence of the Amorite-Hittite combination throughout this word points to the black-horse stage. As we have shared before, America (unlike Latin America) successfully completed her "black-horse stage" and was to enter into the fullness of the next stage, the "green-horse" stage. Unfortunately, America hesitated, and she regressed back to the black-horse stage. This prevented the resurgence of a full-fledged intercessory movement that would have led to a true national revival of latter-rain proportions. This is the reason why the man mentioned above is called "Eli Black". As we shared in a previous word, businessman Eli Black had been a rabbi in Woodmere, New York before he decided to give up his "rabbi-hood" to become an entrepreneur. This is a figure of the believers who heed the red-horse shout and who are willing to give up the comforts and security of the religious life as they venture out into the black-horse wilderness. Had he stayed within the staleness of the rabbinical traditions, Eli Black would have led a comfortable but nonchalant life as a rabbi in New York. Yet, his heart longed for more, and he followed an inner calling to become a businessman. As such, he thrived, to the point that he was able to buy a company as large as the United Fruit Company. However, when that venture became tainted by Latin American contamination (literally), an utter sense of despair hit his soul, to the point that he eventually leapt to his death from the 44th floor of the then "Pan Am" building. Most would be quick to argue that this was just another example of how materialistic modern society has become, yet such a conclusion would be quite simplistic. This man had a strong spiritual calling upon him, which is what led him to become a rabbi in the first place. As he left the religious lifestyle to pursue the businessman calling that God had placed inside of him, his apparently secular life gained strong spiritual overtones, and, when he purchased United Fruit Company (a company which, as we have said before, had strong "green-horse" connotations), the spiritual pressure on him mounted. The ineptitude of others, which led to United Fruit's woes, made that pressure even worse. As the inability to "move forward" businesswise dragged on and on, the invisible spiritual pressure on him mounted and mounted, so much so that, on that sad and tragic day, Eli Black was unable to take it anymore, and the Hittite spirits of suicide, along with the "heightened" Amorite spirits, tortured him into committing suicide by throwing himself from the heights of the 44th floor.

As a judgement against America's insistence on remaining in the "black-horse stage", the Lord sent black-horse Katrina and Rita against her in the first year of the 4-year delay. Yet, even after the long delay has come and gone, America remains stuck in the black-horse stage. Because of this, the Lord is preparing something far worse than Katrina and Rita. This is the reason why the Lord focused our attention on the "Black Plague", which, according to many historians' estimates, literally wiped out a third of Europe's population. The swine flu pandemic is a spiritual sign, a spiritual precursor of the "black plague" that is coming. The black plague was taken into Europe through the trade routes established by the "terrorising" Hittite-Amorite Mongols as they did business with the West. In the same way, the "Hittite-Amorite Syrians" are bringing the black plague to America as they "do business" with the West, just as Syrian businessman Tony Rezko helped bring the black plague of obama to America's political scene. The longer the remnant's business proposition remains on the table unattended, the more these Hittite-Amorites' business dealings will prosper, thus intensifying the power of the black plague that comes at the end of it.

According to many historians, the scourge of the black plague helped to "reboot European civilisation". Those who survived were able to consolidate more lands for farming, which increased efficiency and allowed more food to be available to fewer people. A middle class began to emerge, which led to the eventual end of the tightly hierarchical Middle Ages and to the fostering of individualism. The established Church's inability to contain, or even explain, the black plague helped to break the chains of unconditional ministerial faith that had shackled European society for centuries. Out of the ashes of the black plague, a new Europe emerged. In a sense, the Black Plague was sent by God to jolt Europe out of a "black-horse" stagnation and into a "green-horse" renaissance.

An incident at the YMCA

The bird incident at the YMCA car park that sister Carol narrates emphasises America's black-horse stagnation. As we share in a word entitled "Red and black operations", posted on October 17, 2006, America has been like a Peter who "refuses to turn green". The successful operations of the red and black horses were visible in America, but the signs of "green-horse success" were nowhere to be seen. This is the reason why the mobile phone that sister Carol had with her as she beheld the bird incident was red and black. This is also the reason why the bird that fought against the hawk was a black bird with red wings. The red wings speak of believers who overcome the gravity pull of the Girgashite-Jebusite spirit of Cain and who are able to fly away from the religious structures to abide in the black horse wilderness, which is represented by the bird's black body. As we have said before, "car parks" are a figure of temporary places, which emphasises the fact that the black-horse stage is designed to be a temporary condition, not a permanent state. The abbreviation YMCA stands for "Young Men's Christian Association", which points to the green-horse army of young warriors that God wants to raise in America. The raising of this army remains "on hold", which explains why the entire bird incident happened in a YMCA car park.

As we have also shared before, the "hawk" is intimately related to the red horse of the Apocalypse. Therefore, the fact that the hawk was eyeing the baby birds speaks of how America's stagnation at the temporary black-horse stage is risking a tragic regression into the red-horse stage (stage "3" in the 5-stage bowl we have shared on before). This regression would lead to the loss of an entire generation (represented by the baby birds). As we have shared before, those who are willing to become remnant believers must be willing to bear the "unbearable burden", and they become exposed to unnecessary suffering when those they are spiritually responsible for refuse to mature. That is why the Lord declares in Matthew 24:19, "Woe unto them that have in the belly and those who are breastfeeding in those days". Because the American Church, including most of America's best, have failed to mature, they have forced the remnant (represented by the green-horse "guardian bird") to remain for an uncomfortably long period in the black-horse "car park", investing an inordinate amount of spiritual effort to fend off the enemy so as to protect the spiritual babies who refuse to mature and who remain unable to fly for themselves. America already had a Shittim regression from the green-horse stage to the black-horse stage, and, were she to regress from the black-horse stage back into the red-horse stage, she would suffer the same fate of spiritual rejection as Latin America did, only that America's rejection would last for an entire generation (as opposed to Latin America's rejection, which is permanent and irrevocable).

As we have shared before, there is a spiritual connection between "phone rings" and the green horse. Therefore, sister Carol's (silent) red-and-black mobile phone points to how the remnant are waiting for America to go past the red and black stages and to finally ring in the fullness of the green-horse stage. The fact that the red-and-black bird was able to drive the hawk away and spare the lives of the young birds may be a sign that that ring will finally come before this present generation is lost.

Sister Carol shares that an elderly gentleman joined her in watching the epic battle between the little bird and the hawk. This elderly gentleman represents the past generations of believers who, like Simeon, have been praying for true revival to come upon the Body of believers; most of these men and women have passed on without seeing their intercession materialised. In a larger sense, the elderly gentleman represents the cloud of witnesses of Hebrews 11 and 12, the "hall of faith" of believers from ages past who are eagerly waiting for the present generation to "seal the deal", for they know that they cannot enter into the fullness of their inheritance until we come through (Hebrews 11:40).

Exit strategy, again?

In her May 6 dream, sister Carol was working on a path across the country, which speaks of the remnant's intercessory prayer for a revival that encompasses every aspect of the nation's life. The "function" or "menu" screen that suddenly appeared is a figure of the crossroads that America has reached, a crossroads at which God has stopped the spiritual work being carried out by the remnant because it could simply not go on the way it was. As the remnant worked on behalf of America, America remained ungratefully indifferent to that work. This ungratefulness triggered a pop-up window that is coded according to the following "integrity rule" delineated in Scripture:

"10Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God." (2 Corinthians 9:10-11)

Thus, thanksgiving (i.e.- gratefulness) begets multiplication, and ungratefulness begets lack. When you are grateful for what you are receiving, the stream from God is maintained and intensified. When you are ungrateful, the stream from God eventually dries up, and you stop receiving that which you were ungrateful for. Therefore, as America remained ungrateful for and indifferent to what God wants to accomplish in her, the work was suddenly stopped, and America's indifference level had to lower in order for the pop-up window to disappear and allow work to continue.

In 2005-6, the remnant were called to carry out a "hurried exit" strategy, and, due to the way America was proceeding in 2008-9, the remnant have been on the verge of being called to another "hurried exit". This is the reason why sister Carol could only think of the words "ESCAPE!" and " EXIT!" as she tried to close the pop-up screen.

Will the work be stopped for 30 years? It depends on what happens in the coming weeks. Regardless, a black blizzard is coming, just as it did on May 9 and May 11, 1934.

{Fellow believer, we strongly urge you to read a prophetic word that a sister in Christ made us aware of just a few days ago; it is a word given to Sandy Warner entitled "The Destiny of America" that is available on thequickenedword.com}
