The 4 war fronts (Part 2)
First posted: November 16, 2006
This is the second
in a series of articles in which we study the 4 different types of spiritual fronts
that God's remnant believers will be called to fight on, often concurrently.
These 4 fronts (mentioned by God in Revelation 10:11) are made manifest as you progress in your spiritual walk in God.
The tiny little book
The tiny little book
In the
previous article, we studied how the mighty angel's 4 characteristics
mentioned in Revelation 10:1 point to the last 4 seals of the Apocalypse. The
next 2 verses then describe 4 actions performed by the mighty angel:
"2 And he had in his
hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left
foot on the earth, 3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion
roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices."
(Revelation 10:2-3)
The 4 actions described in the verses above are:
-
Holding a little book open in his hand
-
Setting his right foot upon the sea
-
Setting his left foot on the earth
-
Crying out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars
The first
action points back to the following passage:
"1 And I saw in the
right hand of him that sat on the throne
a book written within and on the
backside, sealed with seven seals.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice,
Who is worthy to open the book,
and to loose the seals thereof?
3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was
able to open the book, neither to look thereon. 4 And I wept much,
because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look
thereon. 5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold,
the Lion of the tribe of
Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven
seals thereof. 6 And
I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the
midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and
seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7 And he came and
took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty
elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden
vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. 9 And they sung
a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals
thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of
every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And hast made us
unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth." (Revelation 5:1-10)
[The phrase "strong angel" of verse 2 was
translated from the Greek words ischuros and aggellos, the same
words that were translated as "mighty angel" in
Revelation 10:1]
A little later, the Spirit records the following:
"1 And I saw
when the Lamb opened one of the
seals, and I heard, as it
were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And
I saw, and behold a white
horse: and he that sat on
him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and
to conquer." (Revelation 6:1-2)
Therefore, the little open book held by the mighty
angel in Revelation 10 refers to the book whose seals are opened by the Lamb.
Thus, it points specifically to the 1st seal, the white horse of the Apocalypse.
Those with the little open book in their hands are believers who have chosen to
mature into "spiritual lambs", which, as we have studied
before,
corresponds to entering "Level 3" of our spiritual growth. Those who want to
manifest God's Lamb nature in their own lives and the lives of others will be
willing to suffer massive
labour
pains in
order to forge the opening of the 7 seals on Earth. Their hearts will be set on
the "little book" being opened and on God's nature being manifested on Earth;
this attitude in their hearts will allow the "white
horse"
conquering anointing to come over them, thus unleashing the operation of the
4 horses of the Apocalypse on their own lives and on the lives of others.
The phrase "little book" in Revelation 10:2 was
translated from the Greek word bibliaridion, which is a diminutive form
of the word biblion, which is, in turn, a diminutive of the word
biblos meaning "book". Therefore, the word bibliaridion is a double
diminutive of the word "book", and could be translated in English as "tiny
little book". Interestingly enough, bibliaridion only
appears 4 times in the New Testament, and all 4 appearances are in Revelation
chapter 10, in verses 2, 8, 9, and 10. These 4 appearances correlates with the 4
horses of the Apocalypse:
-
In verse 2, the
mighty angel is holding the
bibliaridion in his hand, which
points to the
white horse, since
that is the horse that appears after the Lamb takes the book into His hand
and opens the first seal (Revelation 5:7, 6:1-2).
As we have said
before, the white horse acts as a spiritual umbrella for the other 3 horses.
Therefore, it makes sense that the appearance of
bibliaridion that correlates with the
white horse stands apart from the other 3 appearances, which appear in
successive verses (verses 8, 9, and 10). In a spiritual sense, the white
horse impartation happens in the anonymity of every believer's heart,
usually while the believer is still inside the
matriarchal Church's
religious structures. A close study of the order in which the tribes of
Israel are listed in Revelation 7:3-8 reveals that the white horse
impartation happens as a believer suddenly realises that we are
all priests. Once the believer removes the "ministerial leaders"
from the middle and begins to visualise a direct access with God, the white horse impartation
begins to operate in his or her heart, preparing the believer for the next 3 horses'
impartation.
-
In verse 8, the
voice from heaven tells John to go and take the
bibliaridion from the angel. This correlates
with the red horse, since that is the
horse through whom God
prompts His people out into the wilderness to receive
a direct impartation from Him.
-
In verse 9, John
approaches the angel and tells him to give him the bibliaridion.
Notice that God did not tell the angel to give the little book to John.
Instead, He told John to get it from the angel himself, which meant
that John had to gather up the necessary courage. It required
confidence for John to approach the mighty angel described in Revelation
10:1 and ask him to give him the tiny little book. This, therefore, points to the
wilderness of
black-horse
impartation in which we grow in
prophetic and evangelistic grace. As we
abide in the black-horse wilderness, we become aware of our grace in God,
and we become willing to step out
on our own, without a spirit of permanent
dependence on others. Those who prefer to depend on men become
angel
worshippers, and angel worshippers will be
too much in awe of the mighty
angel to ever approach him and tell him to give the book to them.
-
In verse 10, John takes the bibliaridion and eats it, with the
bibliaridion turning
bitter in John's belly. The word "bitter" was translated from the Greek word
pikraino, which is apparently derived from the word peiro
meaning "to pierce". As we have seen
before,
piercing "stings" are a figure of bitter
Sheol
experiences. This correlates with the fact that John felt the bitterness
in his belly, since Sheol is a spiritual belly (Jonah
2:2,
Proverbs 27:20). In the innermost parts of his being, John felt a
stinging bitterness worthy of Sheol, the innermost part of the Earth.
Before eating the
bibliaridion, John was forewarned that it would be depressingly
bitter (Revelation 10:9). This means that John's Sheol experience was a
voluntary sacrifice. He knew the personal torment his decision would cause,
yet he willingly made the decision. All of this, therefore, points to the
green horse of the Apocalypse, since
green-horse riders
voluntarily allow themselves to be
bound up and taken where they would rather not go (i.e.-
Golgotha).
And, as we have seen before, green-horse Golgotha deaths are generally
initiated in the natural realm by a
Judas-style
betrayal.
"The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into
the innermost parts of the belly" (Proverbs 26:22)
Therefore, the
bitterness experienced by John in his belly was a prophetic figure of a
bitter betrayal by those who are supposed to help you but who eventually
leave you hanging in
no-man's land because of their half-hearted commitment.
They say "Yes" to you at the beginning, but they end up saying "No" and
abandoning you when push comes to shove. The fact that the verse above is in
verse 22 of chapter 26 has spiritual significance. Because of
the American Church's bitter betrayal of God's remnant spirit (caused by her
cautious
half-heartedness),
a bitter "22"
civil war has been decreed over America, a civil war in which God shall
execute
vindicating
revenge for the blood of the "26"
2-witness believers that was spilled on her soil, a blood spilled as the
American
Tyrians
casually
looked on as if nothing significant was taking place.
As we have said
before,
unGodly bitterness is a result of
man's
resentment against God's righteous judgments, which always cut deep into the
"heart of the matter" to obliterate the unrighteous roots of the issue (Hebrews
4:12,
Hebrews 12:15-17). As we have also said
before,
the green horse comes to obliterate the
soul
matriarchy, which is the basic
root from which all of man's needless woes have
issued. The green horse comes to
complete the process started by the white horse of the Apocalypse.
Therefore, God's green-horse riders come to cut off the deepest roots of
iniquity, the ones hidden so deep that most are not aware of them or of their
destructive effects. These are the roots hidden in the deep "soul soil" of
denial, hidden by the defiant determination of man's soul not to admit
the sin in his actions. As we have shared
before, "sin" in
Scripture goes much deeper than obvious wrongdoings such as stealing or
adultery, and it includes actions and thoughts that may seem "good" and
"noble" on the outside. These acts of sin cause "death",
i.e.- a state of separation between the person's soul and the Spirit of God.
When the person's soul perceives this separation, she (the soul) has 2 options: she can
either admit
her error or
cover it up,
devising
methodical excuses
and pretending as if she did
nothing wrong (Deuteronomy
16:3, Genesis 3:7-13). As the error (i.e.- sin) is repeated over and
over again in an atmosphere of death that clearly certifies that "something
ain't right",
Hittite
spirits of deceit,
emptiness
and
purposelessness are injected into the atmosphere. In other words, when
man's soul claims she is alive, when she is really dead, and continues in
her death-causing error (as if to certify her "righteousness"), she becomes
subject to Hittite stings that "fill" the surrounding atmosphere with deceit
and emptiness, turning that atmosphere into
Sheol
on Earth (Isaiah
28:14-19). This is the meaning behind the phrase "the sting of death
is sin" in 1 Corinthians 15:56. Sin causes death, and the dogged
repetition of that sin, even in a state of evident death, brings injections
of Hittite deceit and purposelessness into the atmosphere.
Mankind demands that God, if He exists, fix the
world. Yet, when He reads out the steps that must be taken to set the world
right, the matriarchal Church and the rest of the world complain and say,
"No, we will not change that!! There is nothing wrong with that!! That has nothing to
do with the problems we are going through!! We want an end to our problems, not
someone sermonising us about irrelevant issues!!"
"12 There is a
generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their
filthiness. 13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes!
and their eyelids are lifted up. 14 There is a generation, whose
teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from
off the earth, and the needy from among men." (Proverbs 30:12-14)
As a green-horse
rider is taken where he or she does not want to go, he or she begins to bear
the chastisement of others' actions. He or she begins to suffer the stings
of Sheol in his or her soul, stings caused by the dogged repetition of
matriarchal sin in those who refuse to change what must be changed. As the
green-horse rider is stung over and over, bitterness begins to invade the
innermost parts of his or her belly. He or she begins to bear the bitterness
of betrayal, the bitterness of man's betrayal against God. Just as Adam betrayed God
after co-labouring with Him
in the garden of Eden for a season, and just as
Judas betrayed Jesus after co-labouring with Him for a season, God's
green-horse riders experience the betrayal of those who worked alongside of
them for a season, only to "cut and run" at the last minute. These
green-horse riders are called to experience the same sense of betrayal that
God Himself felt when man cut loose from Him and went his arrogant little
way, just as Hosea was called to experience the betrayal felt by God at the
hands of a faithless wife (Hosea 1:2). By doing so, God's green-horse riders
are paying the price of judgment
for the sake of others, and they set in
motion the
final and
decisive stages that shall lead to the re-conquest
of the world
lost
by the former Adam.
By bearing the
bitterness of Sheol in their bellies, God's green-horse riders enable the
final and lethal injection of bitterness into the matriarchal world system,
an injection
that leads to its spiritual collapse. In that sense, by spiritually
descending to Sheol, God's green-horse riders become the lethal syringe that
reaches into the deepest parts of the Earth to kill off the matriarchal
roots of unrighteousness that have led to the disastrous world the former
Adam has fashioned. This is the reason why God's green-horse riders are so
reviled. Since they bring obliterating judgment on the soul's ways, they
cause the deepest
bitterness in a matriarchal world that
abhors
God's judgments, and, by
vengeful
consequence, the matriarchal world spirits -- operating through
those at
peace with the world system --- do everything in their power to make the
green-horse riders' life as bitter and frustrating as they can.
The
bibliaridion was initially "sweet as honey" in John's mouth before it
turned bitter in his belly. This is a figure of how, when God's words are
birthed in the Head, they bring great joy, as when a new baby is born.
However, as the newly birthed words descend from the Head to those who are
supposed to be "the Body", they bring great bitterness to God because
they are harshly rejected by those who are supposed to joyously embrace and
digest them. Those who are connected to the
Head
are quick to rejoice in God's judgments, regardless of any temporal pain
they may cause, and regardless of any persecution and any bitter tears that
accepting them may bring about:
"103 How sweet are
thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! 104 Through
thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way" (Psalm 119:103-104)
"133 Order my steps
in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. 134 Deliver
me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts. 135 Make
thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes. 136 Rivers
of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law." (Psalm 119:133-136)
"139 My zeal hath
consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words. 140 Thy
word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it. 140 Thy word
is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it. 141 I am small and
despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts. 142 Thy righteousness
is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth. 143 Trouble
and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.
144 The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me
understanding, and I shall live." (Psalm 119:139-144)
Notice how verse
141 above declares that those who are consumed by the zeal of God (v139) are
"small and despised". Just like the "tiny little book" of Revelation 10,
God's faithful believers are
insignificant to and
belittled
by the
simplistic eyes of
soul-dominated
man. Those who are consumed by the zeal of God understand the spiritual
impact of little things that others disregard or minimise. They are quick to
point out a series of "little" things hidden deep beneath the surface,
little things that bear out the reasons for huge problems in the surface
above. In their hearts, they carry a "tiny little book" containing these "tiny little
things", a book they constantly "read out" to those around them, not only
through their words but through their actions. Their "tiny little book" becomes
reviled because it condemns little things that others find no fault in.
The
thousands upon thousands of people who walked by the Temple in Jerusalem
every day found no fault in the moneychangers and dove sellers there; yet,
there was a "neurotic" itinerant preacher who found fault with them, and His
accumulated
frustration with their presence there reached a point that led
to a "neurotic episode" of "irritated explosion", an episode of deliberate
fury:
"13 And the Jews’
passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, 14 And found
in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of
money sitting: 15 And
when he had made a scourge of small cords,
he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured
out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables; 16 And said
unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s
house an house of merchandise. 17 And his disciples remembered
that it was written,
The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up." (John 2:13-17)
[Notice that Jesus took the time to make a
"scourge of small cords" (v15). This speaks of deliberateness.
Therefore, this was an episode of premeditated
revenge against the enemies of God. There was no more time for
"compassion" and "understanding", for the moneychangers and dove sellers had
had a chance to hear God's message against them, yet they defiantly remained
at the Temple, and there was no one else outside of Yeshua who was
spiritually enraged by their staunch defiance. It was infuriating to Yeshua
to see them just "sitting" there (v14). To everyone else, these
moneychangers and dove sellers were providing a beneficial "community
service". To God and to His "neurotic" green-horse Yeshua, however, they
were a manifestation of everything that was wrong with man's perverted ways.
The phrase "small cords" in verse 15 was
translated from the Greek word schoinion, which is a diminutive
of the word schoinos, meaning "rush (the plant)". Therefore, the
scourge of "small cords" made by Jesus is a prophetic figure of attention to
little details. It is the cumulative attention to small details which
leads to a true understanding of the hidden "root issues" behind the
problems visible on the surface. God's bibliaridion is full of these
"tiny little details".
The word schoinos (mentioned above)
means "rush (the plant)". According to
wiktionary.org, "rushes"
are "Any of several stiff aquatic or marsh plants of the genus Juncus
having hollow or pithy stems and small flowers".
The rush's "stiffness"
speaks of the
uncompromising "rigidity" of God's green-horse riders.
The fact that rushes grow in stagnant
"marshes" is a figure of green-horse riders willing to grow by
leaps
and bounds, even when surrounded by conformant stagnation.
The "small flowers" are a figure of the "small"
details that those with God's zeal are concerned about.
The "hollow stems" are a figure of how
green-horse riders present an uncompromising and rigid front, even when they
are utterly vulnerable on the inside. Like the Twin Towers in New York City,
they stand sturdy and uncompromising, but can be easily brought down with a
lethal blow. The "pithy stems" are a figure
of the eternal spiritual substance inside of God's green-horse riders. Even in
their temporal vulnerability, they possess an eternal sturdiness that can be
rattled by no man. In English, the word "pithy" is used to refer to things
that are brief and small but very substantive. God's green-horse riders are
filled with "pithiness". They are concerned about small issues that have
substantial spiritual consequences. They are short on "idle talk" but long
on "substantive action". They come with a "choose-a-side" anointing that
forces people to decide
which side they will stand on. They are "down-to-business"
sons and daughters who end the pretty and pleasant "chit-chat" of those who
constantly say
to God, "I love you"; through His green-horse riders, God demands
that those "love declarations" be proved with
Jordan-crossing
actions.]
The verse numbers in which bibliaridion
appears in Revelation 10 --- verses 2, 8, 9, and 10 --- have prophetic
significance:
-
The number "2"
refers to those who are at "Level 2" of their spiritual growth but who long
to enter into "Level 3". Because of this, they open their hearts to the
anointing of the white horse over their lives.
-
As we have said
before, the number "8"
speaks of
"Noah-style" regeneration. As God's remnant believers open their hearts
to the white-horse anointing, their eyes are opened to the faults in the
Church's religious methodologies. They then begin to act as "pestilent"
red-horse believers who begin to restlessly declare that there is something
fundamentally wrong with "church as usual", and they begin to discern and
present teachings from Scripture that testify that something is indeed wrong
(just as Martin Luther did in 1517). In their words and in their actions,
they begin to preach a message of "regeneration", because you cannot
"repair" something that is inherently wrong. Instead, you must break it
apart and
start over.
-
As we have said
before, the number "9"
speaks of God's dynamis power. Because God's remnant believers are
willing to lay a red-horse
foundation
of fundamental regeneration, an extraordinary and unusual stream of
dynamis power begins to flow through them (Acts
19:8-11). Fellow believer, as you begin to operate in the black-horse
anointing (and many of you reading this already are), God will begin
to do extraordinary things through your life. God will release mighty power
through you, power that will have visible and sometimes devastating effects,
even when no one knows
that you are the source on Earth of that power (Revelation
2:17). You will grow in grace, and
God will begin to prepare you for the next stage of your spiritual walk.
-
As we have shared
before, the number "10"
speaks of prophetic,
narrow-gate
sacrifice.
As the grace of God abounds in God's remnant, they are called to surrender
the glory of that grace in order to die a green-horse
sacrificial death, just as Yeshua did when He gave up the glory of His
earthly ministry in order to die at the hands of His enemies.
Even in the strength
of their grace, God's remnant are called to die in weakness. In that sense,
those who complete their spiritual journey are obligated to swallow a
"bitter pill" of death.
Notice that the
sequence of verse numbers 2, 8, 9, and 10 passes through the numbers "8" and "9"
before reaching "10". This points to the giant house in the meadow described in
a dream posted recently.
In that dream, there was a house built for someone 8 to 9 feet tall. The
dreamer noticed this as she was approaching the house's entrance. After entering
the house, she ran up the stairs to reach a window which, as we said
before,
represents the "light
barrier" beyond which we can take refuge within
the Lord God of Israel. This window can only be reached if we are willing to die
in selfless green-horse sacrifice, which points to the number "10".
Interestingly enough, the numbers
2, 8, 9, and 10 add up to 29. The number "29" points to
Psalm 29, which speaks
of the devastating flood of God
and of the earth-shaking voice of God that shatters the forest of
Amorite-Canaanite
cedars:
"1 Give unto the
LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. 2 Give unto
the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of
holiness. 3 The
voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth:
the LORD is upon many waters. 4 The
voice of the LORD is powerful;
the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. 5 The
voice of the LORD breaketh the
cedars; yea, the LORD
breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. 6 He maketh them also to skip like a
calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn. 7 The voice of the LORD
divideth the flames of fire. 8 The
voice of the LORD shaketh the
wilderness; the LORD
shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh. 9 The voice of the LORD maketh the
hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one
speak of his glory. 10 The
LORD sitteth upon the flood;
yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever. 11 The LORD will give strength
unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace." (Psalm 29:1-10)
This is the spiritual reason why Revelation 10:3
speaks of the 7 thunders that roared after the mighty angel with the
bibliaridion cried out with a loud voice. The accumulation of the spiritual
efforts by God's remnant ("2", "8", "9", and "10") leads to the unleashing of
God's
thunderous voice upon the Earth ("29"), the voice that shatters the
pastoral cedar kingdoms of this world and establishes the kingdom of God on this
Earth. It is no spiritual coincidence that flood-causing
Katrina hit New Orleans on
a 29th (of August 2005), and it is no coincidence that
Latin
America (as a region) was cast off by God on a 29th (of June 2003). Because
America behaved in accordance with the
Latin
American spirit in the
spring and
summer of 2005, she received a judgment worthy of Latin America's
unrighteousness exactly 26 months later. As we have said
before, the number "26" is
the spiritual number of God's
2-witness
believers who unleash God's counter-rebellion against the stubborn rebellion of
matriarchal man.
Notice the spiritual connection
between the numbers "26" and "29" above. Both numbers start with the digit "2",
and the second digit in "29" (i.e.- "9"), is the inversion of the second digit
in "26" (i.e.- "6"). According to
wikipedia.org, the 10-digit numerical system used throughout the planet
utilises digit symbols imported into Europe from the Middle East; these symbols
were slightly modified in Europe and then exported to the rest of the planet.
Therefore, the fact that the digit symbol "9" is the inversion of the digit
symbol "6" is no spiritual coincidence. As we have said before, the number "6"
speaks of human weakness, and the number "9"
speaks of dynamis power. Therefore, the transition from "26" to "29"
means that, as God's 2-witness believers shed themselves cloaked in human
weakness (Revelation 11:7), they unleash the power-filled thundering voice of
Almighty God into the Earth. The same 2-witness believers who are "killed" in
"6"-style weakness resurrect in "9"-style power, and, through them, the power of
God gushes forth into the world (from the depths of Sheol and from the heavens
above) to turn the world's order upside down, turning it from a "6" system where
the soul rules
over the spirit into a "9" system where
the spirit rules over the soul (a "Psalm
69" transition). The number "6" equals 3 times 2, which points to the
2 soul-centred "female"
ministries, and the number "9" equals 3 times 3, which points to the 3
spirit-centred "male"
ministries. Oh, how I long to see
the day when the
soul shall be toppled from her queenly throne on Earth!!! How my heart burns
with the desire to see the fire of God
consuming the
cedars of
whited-sepulchre
Lebanon in His wrath!!! How my heart longs to see the wave of God's voice
roaring through the whole globe!!! That wave has begun, and it shall continue!!!
Things are coming shortly
that
will bear this out.
There is more to say regarding this subject, but we
will do so in the next article...
