Blood drops from the sky

Dream (in the morning of December 26, 2004) ...

I am at the church I was attending but no longer do. There is an altar call, and there is a woman I know who is "not" saved up front with other people I do not know. She is wearing a very nice brown suit. What I notice most is that it is way too small and she does not look good in it (this is the woman I know), It is a pantsuit. I'm standing behind her. Then I notice there are very small drops of blood on the floor around her. I see that she is thinking the blood is coming from her, and she starts to walk away like she was going to her seat. Then, someone says it is coming from someone else. I am looking at the floor and notice that there are many, many, more drops. I realize that they are coming from above; I believe from heaven.

Next, I am standing in front of the pastor, and he wants to know what I think the blood means. I told him it was a sign of the Glory of the Lord would soon come. He rebuked me very sharply and told me I was very wrong and that I should know the answer better than that. I backed down and said I must have been wrong.

Next, I am in the foyer of this same church and am leaving out the door at the end of the service. There are others leaving also. I wasn't leaving because I was hurt. The pastor is in front of the door. He grabs me and gives me a kiss on the lips. I was so mad I hit him, and, then, I remember twisting his nose. The pastor has a smirky smile on his face. Someone said, "It was just a kiss". I said, "It was on the lips". I remember feeling very violated. End of dream.

Our comments

In churches across the world, "altar calls" are moments where "regular believers" go to the front to receive "blessings" from their "ministers". Obviously, there is nothing inherently wrong with an altar call, but altar calls have become a subtle mechanism that reinforces a permanent state of spiritual dependence between "ministers" and "regular believers". Altar calls are generally initiated by a minister who promises some sort of material or emotional blessing to those who step to the front. An altar, however, is --- by definition --- a place built for the making of sacrifices, meaning that it is a place where one goes to give, not to receive. The sacrifice that God demands of us is the full yielding of our lives unto Him. His "altar calls" call us to die to our own soul-centered desires and purposes and to become unconditional vessels of His will and purposes on Earth. Pastors, however, have turned "altars" into places where believers go to "claim their lotto prizes", into places where problems magically disappear, into places where the spiritual covetousness of believers is energized instead of destroyed.

As we have said before, the Church's "leaders" do these prize-claiming altar calls to win over believers and control them. By blinding believers from their spiritual inheritance and potential, and by making them focus on temporary blessings, the "ministers" become the monopolistic source of "spiritual experiences" and become like "wolves" and "serpents" that spiritually devour and possess the people around them.

The reason why the sister who had the dream saw an unsaved friend up front has prophetic meaning. As we have said before, the word "salvation" in Scripture refers to more than the moment when we are spiritually born again; it also refers to a growth process where we are worked over by God in such a way that we recover and fulfill all the spiritual attributes that Adam lost in the garden of Eden. Because of the judgment-hating pastoral matriarchy, this salvation process is at a standstill in the lives of the great majority of believers throughout the Church. They go to altar call after altar call to get "blessed" by the "minister", but they go back home as "unsaved" as they were before they went to Church. This goes on for years and years until they die as spiritual midgets that never fulfilled all the Glorious spiritual potential that laid buried inside of them throughout their lives. This is the reason behind the shortness of the nice pantsuit that the "unsaved" friend was wearing. The nice pantsuit is an outward manifestation of her spiritual growth.

The fact that the pantsuit is brown also has spiritual significance. As we share in a previous word, the color "brown" speaks of prophetic potential "trapped" or "hidden" inside an earthly exterior. The fact that it was a suit speaks of clothing that is appropriate for going out of the house to work, which speaks of the "male" ministry anointings that project believers from the confines of religious conformity out to wage spiritual warfare. The pastoral matriarchy has thwarted the "male" ministry anointings inside the Church, leading to believers who are "short" on spiritual projection.

The drops of blood around the "unsaved" friend speak of sacrifice. As the crowds continue to gather in front of altars all over the world to "receive blessings" from their "ministers", God is beginning to hold a true altar call in the heavenlies. As we have shared before, there is a prophetic remnant that has rejected the comfort of the Church's religious structure and has gone out into the desert to die in loneliness and rejection and under God's judgments. In keeping with the nature of Jesus, the prophetic remnant is willing to be "crucified" and ostracized by the religious structures in order to be an instrument of salvation unto others. The prophetic remnant is going through this "crucifixion" process in the anonymity of the spirit realm, just as Jesus was crucified outside Jerusalem (Hebrews 13:12-15, Matthew 16:24-27, Colossians 1:24). This explains why the drops of blood seemed to be dropping from "out of nowhere", and they were dropping from the sky because this spiritual sacrifice is taking place in the spirit realm, outside of the Church's earthly structures.

The reason why the "unsaved" friend decided to walk away from the altar call when she thought that the drops of blood were hers is because most believers go up front to get "blessed", not to die. They want the blessings without the sacrifice of self, the benefits of intimacy without the covenant, the benefits of resurrection without the death, the benefits of "grace" without the truth, God's back without His Face. As we have said before, they want Balaam's undead wheat.

When the pastor asked the sister to interpret the blood, she replied that it was a sign of God's coming Glory. This answer is prophetically correct. As we have said before, the Glory of God is in His Face (Revelation 1:16, 2 Corinthians 4:6, 2 Corinthians 3:7, 2 Corinthians 3:18), and the Glory of His Face causes death. Contrary to popular belief, God's true Glory has not yet been seen in His Church because most believers have been after the blessings of His Back, not His Face. As the prophetic remnant sheds its blood and suffers "outside the gate" (Hebrews 13:12-15), the Face of God is being drawn back, and His Glory will soon be manifested throughout His Church. Through true prophetic prayer and sacrifice, those of you who are willing to "shed your blood" by exposing yourselves to attacks from principalities will pave the way for the manifestation of God's Righteous Glory in these latter days. Those of you who are willing to be red-horse riders of "pestilence" will be used to end the Hittite emptiness inside the Church so that the fullness of God's Shekinah presence may be manifested. There can be no Glory without a willingness to die, because, as we said above, God's Glory causes death.

The reason why the pastor rebuked the sister for interpreting the blood as a sign of God's coming Glory is because pastors prefer the blessings "Gospel" and hush up anyone who speaks of judgments or a spiritual price. The pastoral matriarchy wants to prolong the covenant that it has made with death and Sheol (Isaiah 28:14-19), a covenant that has promoted the Church's abhorrent self-deception over its own spirituality and righteousness before God. This covenant has served as a mechanism that gives pastors control and possession over God's sheep, and they try to silence those who are brave enough to confront this vain covenant. They do so by using the weight of their religious titles and human authority to intimidate anyone who dares to challenge their hegemony. This is why the sister in the dream ended up saying to herself "I must have been wrong".

The people who are leaving the church at the end of the dream are a prophetic figure of what happens after the spiritual red horse of the Apocalypse appears. When spiritual "pestilences" (like Paul) appear, the religious, sterile "peace" is broken, and internal strife begins to take place. As this happens, the "Jacob"s and "Esau"s that have coexisted within the Church's womb begin to struggle against each other, and division takes place (1 Corinthians 11:18-19).

The fact that the pastor grabbed the sister as she was leaving is a prophetic figure of the pastors' possessive nature. This possessive nature is a combination of maternal Canaanite possessiveness and Amorite "crowing". The pastor's kiss also has spiritual significance. As we have said before, kisses in Scripture are a figure of "soul contact" or "soul communion", and pastors like to use "soul communion" as a weapon to keep sheep within "their" fold. They love to say things like "Stay with us, brother; this church is fun; we have many activities for you and your family; enjoy the friendship and communion we offer". Instead of offering the Shekinah, life-transforming presence of God, they offer "soul candy". Cursed be those who reduce the congregation of the saints to a mere social club gathering!!! Cursed be those who have deliberately reduced the spiritual things of God to the soul level!!! God's wrath is upon you, and your time will soon be up!!! The days will come when "altar calls" throughout the world will become "alter calls", because they will be moments where believers will be truly altered and transformed.

As we have said before, "kissy" pastors are level-1 pastors (the lowest of the 3 pastoring levels). They may be good at doling out gooey phileo love, but they are unwilling to practice true sacrificial agape love (John 10:11). Their love towards Jesus (i.e.- their towards His brethren, the "sheep") stays at a purely emotional, "affectionate" level, and those whose love does not progress to the agape level eventually end up betraying Jesus (i.e.- His brethren, the "sheep"), just as "kissing Judas" did (Matthew 26:48-50, Matthew 25:45).

When the sister hit the pastor for kissing her, she was executing a spiritual judgment against him. As we have said before, when we move in the Melchisedec priesthood Anointing, we operate at a level that transcends any "religious hierarchy" or "human rank". This is why Scripture clearly declares that a person who operates in the Spirit judges all things and is judged by none (1 Corinthians 2:15-16). Pastors believe that they have the spiritual equivalent of "diplomatic immunity". Since they have exalted themselves as the Church's hierarchs, they see themselves as exempt from God's judgments, especially when those judgments come from "little sheep" who are "beneath" them (Luke 11:19). When the judgment is forceful and spiritually undeniable, they simply point to their pastoral "name tags" and say to themselves, "How can I be wrong? I am ... the PASTOR!!" This explains the pastor's "smirky" smile in the dream. Instead of feeling shame after the sister's judgment, he shows defiant, "naughty-boy" arrogance against her.

The sister's twisting of the pastor's nose has tremendous prophetic significance:

"Because thy rage against me and thy tumult is come up into mine ears, therefore I will put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest." (2 Kings 19:28)

The Lord speaks these words against Sennacherib, king of Assyria. As we have said before, Assyria in Scripture is a figure of the spirit inside the Church that promotes "blessings" and "spiritual contentment"; the spirit of Assyria is prevalent in pastors throughout the globe. This spirit leads to spiritually arrogant pastors who belittle the believers that are placed under their care. These pastors are unwilling to understand that, by defying an anointed believer's judgments, they are defying God Himself!!! This is why the Lord says the following against Sennacherib, king of Assyria:

"21This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin the daughter of Zion hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee. 22Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel." (2 Kings 19:21-22)

Interestingly enough, the word "nose" in 2 Kings 19:28 above was translated from the Hebrew word aph, which is translated as "anger" in 172 of the 276 times it appears in the Old Testament. By twisting the pastor's nose, the sister in the dream was prophetically declaring God's red-horse wrath against him.

The word aph also appears in the following passage:

"32If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth. 33Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife." (Proverbs 30:32-33)

Notice that this passage says that the "wringing of the nose" brings forth blood. By twisting the pastor's nose, the sister in the dream was also confronting the pastor prophetically for not shedding his blood in sacrifice. In a sense, it's as if she was saying to him:

"You foolish pastor! You are supposed to be bleeding for your brethren; instead you are drinking their blood. Here is a little twist of the nose to make you bleed. Since you will not bleed voluntarily, God's wrath is coming against you to cause you involuntary bleeding."

Notice also that Proverbs 30:33 speaks of the "forcing of wrath" bringing forth strife. The word "wrath" was translated from aph, the very same word in Hebrew for "nose" that is used in the first part of this verse. Therefore, the latter part of this verse could very well be translated as "the forcing of the nose brings forth strife". God is coming to provoke strife against those who have challenged Him for centuries. In these latter days, He is raising strife-causing red-horse riders who will come to destroy the peace of spiritual staleness inside the Church. Why? Because, as Proverbs 30:33 declares, "the churning of milk brings forth butter", which speaks of spiritual transformation. As God churns His Church with red-horse strife, milk will be turned into butter, and a Church of lame, milk-drinking babies will be turned into a solid and mighty Church that will shake the nations of the Earth through spiritual judgments.

"13And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? 14Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. 15Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good." (Isaiah 7:13-15)

The fact that someone said, "It was just a kiss" is a prophetic figure of how believers have a natural tendency to condone iniquity and to downplay the importance of sin that is abhorrent in God's eyes. As we have said before, today's Church lacks a strong manifestation of the Spirit of Ephesus --- the Spirit of Justice and Judgments --- one of the 7 Spirits of God. Today's Church has no awareness of how much God abhors sin and iniquity, especially when it manifests itself in believers who have been given a new inner-man through whom they have the potential to operate in righteousness and judgments (Ephesians 4:24, 1 Peter 4:17).Notice that the Lord says the following as a compliment to the church at Ephesus:

"I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:" (Revelation 2:2)

This is what the Lord has to say to those who say, "It was just a kiss":

"20Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! 22Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: 23Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! 24Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. 25Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still." (Isaiah 5:20-25)

[Notice that the end of verse 24 is similar to 2 Kings 19:22 quoted above]

The sister had this dream (and e-mailed it) on December 26, 2004, the same day of the tsunami disaster in south Asia. It was only until yesterday that I noticed this! It was even more surprising to me that the Lord had prompted us to post a prophetic word on December 30, 2004 concerning the tsunami disaster where we quote a phrase from mother Theresa about a "drop in the ocean". As we share in that word, the tsunami waves were God's way of returning the well-intentioned but meaningless "drops" that mother Theresa and others like her dropped into India and south Asia in the form of humanitarian aid based on human effort and strength. Instead of becoming a spiritual menace against the many spiritual principalities and powers in India, mother Theresa became Theresa the "beloved by man". If she had been willing to pay the "politically incorrect" price of being a strife-causing catalyst in the spirit realm, she would have become an agent of long-lasting spiritual transformation in India. Instead (as a 1987 song by the group "Crowded House" would say), she became one of the many futile paper cups trying to catch a deluge that can only be stopped by attacking the spiritual roots of idolatry and iniquity in India and south Asia.

It was interesting to me to realize (until today) that the Lord had prompted us to speak of the Lord's Glory coming from the south in the prophetic word regarding Theresa's "drops" and the tsunami disaster, since the sister in the dream saw the drops of blood as a sign of the coming of God's Glory. Theresa's drops of human mercy were futile seed, because they were motivated by "soulish" short-sightedness; they were seed that was unwilling to die to man's techniques and paradigms. On the other hand, the drops of blood being shed by the prophetic remnant "outside the gate" are meaningful seed, because they are a result of believers who have died to the rule of the soul and who understand that God's key to restoration is a foundation of righteousness and judgments (Isaiah 1:26-27).
