Prophetic word for today

Denmark (Part 3)

This is a continuation of the prophetic word on Denmark and its relevance in the spirit realm.

The followed naked leader

Whereas Søren Kierkegaard is Denmark's best known philosopher and thinker, it can be argued that Hans Christian Andersen is Denmark's best known literary writer. As indicated on wikipedia.org, Andersen is the author of short tales known around the world, the most famous being "The Emperor's New Clothes", "The Little Mermaid", and "The Ugly Duckling". A close study of these 3 stories provides further insight into the spiritual significance of Denmark.

As indicated on wikipedia.org, "The Emperor's New Clothes" is a short story about two deceitful weavers who promise a wardrobe-obsessed Emperor the finest suit of clothes, which they would make from a fabric that was supposed to be invisible to anyone unfit for his position or just "hopelessly stupid". When the weavers show him this magical "cloth", the emperor is unable to see it (given that it did not exist), but he pretends to "see" it, for fear of appearing unfit for his position or "stupid". His ministers are also unable to see the "cloth", but they remain silent out of the same fear. When the weavers report that the suit is "done", they pretend to dress the Emperor in it; the emperor then goes out to show off his new "attire". As he parades around the streets naked, the crowds of subjects cheered loudly, crying out eloquent praises for the emperor's new "clothes". Amongst the crowd, no one could see the new attire, but they were also afraid of saying anything out of fear of appearing unfit or stupid. Finally, a little child who saw the emperor passing by suddenly blurted out, "But he hasn't got anything on!". When the crowd heard the boy's words, they all began whispering to each other what the child had said, and, as they did, they began to agree with the child's words. As the whispering increased all around him, the emperor began to feel that the whispers were indeed true, that he was parading around the streets naked, but he said to himself, "I will have to go through with the procession", so he held his head even higher and walked on with boldness to complete his naked procession.

As we have shared before, the name "Korah" literally means "bald", and it points to the brazen nakedness of the "female" soul that refuses to be covered by the "male" Spirit. As we have also shared before, the anti-green-horse spirit of Korah has a strong "Hivite" impartation of false prosperity with regard to spiritual matters (as opposed to the anti-black-horse spirit of Balaam, which has a strong "Hivite" impartation of false prosperity with regard to natural matters). The spirit of Korah is a spirit that deceives itself into walking around in aruwm nakedness, and those who operate in the Korah spirit are able to devise (i.e.- "weave") schemes that deceive others into shedding their own clothes and becoming as naked as they themselves are. Therefore, it becomes evident that the story of "The Emperor's New Clothes" is a prophetic portrayal of the spirit of Korah in action. As we have said before, Korah is a Canaanite-Girgashite gone deceivingly Hittite, which correlates with the 2 deceitful weavers (one weaver being "Canaanite" and the other being "Girgashite").

As we have studied before, the Canaanite spirit is the one most directly related to unrighteous peer pressure. Because of their vitriolic hatred of righteous judgements, Canaanites endeavour to suppress the judgements of the spirit and replace them with judgements that are based on soulish emotionalism. Because these judgements are not founded on sound and objective principles, they do not stand up to objective, logical scrutiny, meaning that the only way to truly enforce them is through collective emotional pressure. This is what happens in the emperor story. The act of judging the emperor as a naked fool is suppressed by the thought of what others may think of you if you have the courage to stand up and declare it. Through "collective peer pressure", the false judgement of the emperor as a "finely clothed man" is propagated throughout the entire crowd, and it is accepted as "unquestionable truth". Anyone who questions this truth is emotionally lashed out at as "stupid", with no objective analysis of the evidence ever being made.

As we have also shared before, the Girgashite spirit is the one most directly related to hierarchical structures. Therefore, it is only fitting that the swindlers in the emperor story got the people to worry about preserving their hierarchical positions. Thus, we can say that one of the two weavers, the Canaanite weaver, is the one who came up with the idea of people being "stupid" if they could not see the inexistent clothes (which contains the concept of "what will other people think of me?"), and the other weaver, the Girgashite weaver, is the one who came up with the idea of people being "unfit for their position" if they could not see the inexistent clothes (which contains the concept of "how important hierarchical positions are").

As we have studied before, the 4 horses of the Apocalypse come to overthrow the matriarchal system imposed by the soul over the entire Earth, and, after each horse gallops through, the invalidity of the matriarchal leadership becomes more and more exposed. Therefore, as the last horse, the green horse, gallops through, the matriarchal leadership is left completely bare, and the people who follow this leadership are forced to decide whether they will continue to follow this tainted leadership and its poneros paradigms. As evidenced by what happened with the historical Korah (Numbers 16), and, as evidenced, by the emperor story, it is very difficult for natural souls to admit the invalidity of the matriarchal leadership, even when its blatant nakedness is staring them right in the face. That is why many continue to side with Korah, even after God's green-horse riders have dealt him a mortal wound to the head in the spirit realm. Instead of destroying Korah and its crooked paradigms, they turn around and slay God's green-horse riders, sending them to Death and Sheol. It is after this that the last 3 seals of the Apocalypse are opened, which initiates the final stage of the process that will overthrow the matriarchal leadership for good, regardless of who is for it or against it.

America's naked emperor

As we have studied before, God has had a rather difficult time getting America to "turn from black to green". Despite His many efforts, America has remained reluctant to fully embrace His green-horse anointing, and she has either rejected or been indifferent to His green-horse riders. America's best remained comfortable in the black-horse stage, and, even though they were friendly to many green-horse concepts, they saw no need to cross the river Jordan and enter into the Promised Land. To them, their side of the Jordan seemed fine, and all they saw necessary was to "spruce up" the place a bit as they waited for Jesus to come down from heaven and take them away in the mythical rapture. In a sense, they perceived the "other side of the Jordan" to be an invisible, idyllic heaven outside of this world, a magical place where everything was "peace and harmony", a place they would be taken to "automatically" if they only waited long enough. Whereas the historical Joshua generation knew that brutal war and conquest lay ahead after they had crossed the Jordan, America's pseudo-Joshua generation expected nothing but harps, angel wings, and elevator music once they crossed their magical Jordan in the mythical rapture. Whereas the Joshua generation knew that their crossing was "horizontal", keeping them within the realm of "difficult reality", America's pseudo-Joshua generation expected a "vertical", escapist crossing that would take them away from this difficult existence and into a Hivite "problem-free zone". Whereas the Joshua generation understood that the priesthood within them had to rise up, take the Ark of the New Covenant, and "break open" a way across the Jordan (Joshua 3:3), America's pseudo-Joshua generation expected God to come from the other side of the Jordan, split open the river from the other side, and wave at God's people from a distance to let them know that the river was now crossable because the land under their feet would now be dry. Whereas the Joshua generation understood that the Jordan crossing was different from the Re(e)d Sea crossing, America's pseudo-Joshua generation expected a "repeat performance" by a new and improved version of "Moses". America wanted Jesus to open the "Red" Sea for them, blow the seabed dry so that their dainty little feet would not get wet, and they wanted their "Moses" (i.e.- their hierarchical religious leadership) to lead the way so that the poor little "laymen" would not get lost during the crossing. By contrast, the Joshua generation knew that they were children no longer; they knew that they were not to wait for God to do the work for them; instead, they knew that, as a matured people, God was expecting to do the work through them. They were not waiting for a Moses to take them by the hand and lead them across the Jordan. They had to proactively put their feet in the waters first, and, as they did, the waters would begin to part. Instead of a single, "renowned" man leading them across, it was a group of anonymous priests who took the first steps into the Jordan; and what distinguished these men was that they were carrying the Ark of the Covenant, i.e.- the presence of God, with them. The Joshua generation understood that the God of Israel is a "male of war"; by contrast, America's pseudo-Joshua generation chose to see Him as a glorified version of the dalai lama, a sedated "peace loving" genie whose sole interest is to make us feel comfortable and happy.

Because of America's reluctance to enter into the fullness of God's green-horse stage, she became gravely exposed to a massive infiltration of the green horse's nemesis, Korah. Even when God gave America an opportunity to reverse the infiltration in 2008, she chose to enable it even further, which led to the election of the most blatant manifestation of Korah in American political history: a deceitful third-world demagogue named barack hussein obama. As many of you may know, a significant number of people in America (many of whom had strong anti-liberal values) voted for barack obama out of a sense of guilt or concern over what others would think about them if they did not vote for him. Even as the scandal over jeremiah wright (that arrogant little bastard cursed by God) broke out, and, even as many of obama's ultra-liberal views and shady associations became evident, these men and women chose to give obama the "benefit of the doubt". They wanted to prove to themselves, to their neighbours, and to the onlooking world that America was not a "racist" nation, that they were "modern" and "enlightened" enough to vote for a black man. Just like the crowd in the emperor story, these Americans were willing to pretend as if they could not see b.o.'s blatant nakedness, for they were way more concerned about what others might think if they pointed out b.o.'s nakedness and voted against him. This strong Canaanite peer pressure was evident not only in the guilt-ridden whites but also in the churchgoing, Bible-carrying blacks. Even when they knew that b.o. was radically pro-abortion, even when they knew the type of perverted message being preached in b.o.'s whorish congregation (cursed is every member of that congregation and their families), even when they knew of obama's dislike of the Bible as a guiding book for governing, even when they knew that this bastard saw the Bible as a pro-slavery book, even when they knew of b.o.'s flip-flopping "Christianity", they voted for him in mindless droves. They saw it as a duty to their "race" to vote for a black man; they felt as if they "owed" it to Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King to vote for obama; they allowed their idiotic pastors to fool them into believing that obama was the "fulfilment of prophecy", even when the predictions that they pointed to did not match obama's timeline.

From the above, we can say that obama's election was propelled by the same Canaanite peer pressure and Girgashite thinking evidenced in the naked emperor story. Under Canaanite pressure, white Americans wanted to appear "post-racial" and "enlightened", and they wanted to make up for the guilt of living under the righteous prosperity induced by God's judgement against the descendants of Ham (Genesis 9:25-27). Under Canaanite pressure, black Americans were worried about not seeming to be "traitors" to their own "race", and, under Canaanite emotionalism, they allowed obama's fluff-filled speeches to convince them that he was somehow a reincarnation of Martin Luther King. Under Girgashite hierarchical (and tradition-centric) thinking, both black and white Americans thought that they had to vote for b.o. if they wanted to preserve the "civil rights traditions" fostered by the likes of Martin Luther King, Robert Kennedy, and Rosa Parks. They felt that they would show themselves unfit for their role in American civil-rights history if they passed up on the opportunity of electing a black man. Viewing past civil rights leaders through the prism of "ancestral greatness", they felt more bound to obey their false "ancestral" voice than to heed the clear facts present before them. This is how such an inept, deceitful, and radically-left soul was elected to "lead" America. Even as he has broken one campaign promise after another, many of those who voted for him continue to pretend as if all the broken promises and false predictions are nothing more than "misunderstandings", like a buyer who knows he has bought a "lemon" and yet continues to justify his ill-advised purchase.

"Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel." (Proverbs 20:17)

Many black Americans were deceived by obama's pseudo-MLK speeches because they are still living under an Old-Covenant Moses mentality. Martin Luther King could only take black Americans so far because, just like Moses, he began to shield America's black people from God's purifying judgements. This is why he was only allowed to see the Promised Land before dying, without entering it (as was the case with Moses). The time for a "Moses-style" leadership has long been over, and it is time for black people in America to rise up under a Joshua anointing. Yet, America's black culture continues to wait for a second Moses (a second Moses Luther King) who will come and give black Americans all the entitlements, i.e.- all the "reparations", that they feel they have a right to receive. This is why they allowed themselves to be seduced by a liar who will eventually leave office without having done anything significant to improve the lives of black people in America. Even when obama never offered any significant ideas or a concrete vision to improve the lives of black people, they voted for him under the assumption that he was "bound" to do something for blacks simply because he was half black. When you are expecting someone else to do all the work for you, there is little point in sitting down to examine what needs to be done, and there is little point in evaluating the options offered by your potential "saviours". As long as you "know" that they belong to the "clan", their emotional "loyalty" is more than enough to guarantee that, whatever they do, it will be "good for you". As you can see, what happened to the gospel-singing, Bible-carrying black Americans in the 2008 election is a manifestation of what has been happening to the American Church in general. When you are stuck in the black-horse stage and refuse to move into the fullness of the green-horse stage, you expose yourself to the Canaanite and Girgashite weavers of Korah deceit.

The little mermaid

When the emperor's story was published, it was published along with the story that Hans Christian Andersen might just be most famous for, "The Little Mermaid". As indicated on wikipedia.org, this tale is about a little mermaid who lived in the deep sea with her sea-king father, her grandfather, and her older sisters. As we have shared before, green-horse riders are God's "seafarers". Therefore, the little mermaid points directly to the green horse. The fact that she was "little" (and a female) points the green-horse rider's inherent vulnerability. Whereas Korah exposes himself in his quest for personal grandeur, the green-horse rider exposes himself in vulnerability to the point of Death.

In the story, the little mermaid falls in love with a human prince, and she is willing to make a very painful sacrifice in order to become human and have a chance to be with him. This once again points to the green horse, since, as we have shared before, green-horse riders are believers who have fallen in love with God's vision, and they are willing to go through anything to see it fulfilled. In the story, the mermaid could expect to live for 300 years, but she knew that, upon dying, she would become as "sea foam" and disappear; by contrast, humans had a much shorter lifespan, but, upon dying they had an eternal soul that would go to heaven. Therefore, by becoming a human, the mermaid was sacrificing the shorter-term benefit of a longer lifespan in return for the opportunity to cross over into eternity. This also points to green-horse riders, since they are the ones who make the quantum leap of faith into God's green olam eternity.

In the story, the little mermaid knew that she was taking a big risk in becoming a human and pursuing the love of the human prince. If the prince chose to marry someone else, her sacrifice would be for naught, and she would turn into sea foam the next morning, with her heart literally breaking on the inside. This points to the risk of failure that green-horse riders expose themselves to. Unlike what the traditional Church teaches, not all endeavours done in complete obedience to the Lord are bound to be "successful". Why? Because the success of many endeavours not only depends on God's will or your will; it depends on the wills of others. Despite having done all that she could do, the little mermaid depended on the human prince aligning himself with the eternal plan for his life in order for the endeavour to be "successful". When you allow your fate to be defined by others (as was the case when Jesus stood before the people and the people picked Barabbas), you expose yourself to your hopes being dashed and to your heart being broken, as was the case with the little mermaid. Even so, there is no other way of forging God's will on Earth.

"Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life." (Proverbs 13:12)

In order for the little mermaid to become human, she also had to sacrifice her tongue. This meant that, if the prince was to communicate with her, it would have to be at a level much deeper than the natural level of human communication. This points once again to the green horse of the Apocalypse. Communication is an example of "transport"; concepts, emotions, and spirits are transported as you communicate with another person. As we have said before, believers operating at the green-horse stage operate at the highest level of transport, to the point, even, of supernatural physical transport. Therefore, believers in the green-horse stage become very adept at the highest level of spiritual communication, a level that does not require literal words and literally-understandable signs. As we have also said before, green-horse riders "tithe" at the deepest level possible, meaning that they operate at the deepest level of priesthood, the priesthood of Melchizedek. Once you enter that realm, actions and reciprocations are totally uncoerced. You give without being demanded to give, and you appreciate what is given to you without the giver having to pound the gift into your brain. It is a realm of "instant gratefulness", a realm of constant appreciation and thanksgiving.

In the story, the little mermaid could read the prince's thoughts better than anyone else, but the prince was unable to see into her and read her thoughts, meaning that he failed miserably when it came to operating at that higher and deeper level of communication. The mute mermaid who stood before him was the one who had saved his life at high sea, yet, even as he came to dwell with her on a daily basis, he never became aware of that. He was not even able to fathom the level of sacrifice that the little mermaid had gone through in order to be with him, even as he interacted with her everyday and came to realise in his mind that she loved him more than anyone else did. In the same way, America has been rather slow to understand the depth of sacrifice that God's green-horse riders have made to rescue and enable America's latter-day spiritual calling.

In the story, the little mermaid rescues the unconscious prince from the shipwreck, carrying him from the sea to the garden of a temple by the shore. She hid behind the sea foam, watching to see if anyone would come to the prince's aid. That is when a maiden from the temple appeared, and, when the prince awoke, he became convinced that she was the one who had rescued him from certain death. He then became infatuated with her, hoping to see her again some day and marry her. The fact that the little mermaid rescued the prince in anonymity, worrying little about human recognition, points to the anonymous priests who are forging God's latter-rain revival. As we shared above, the crossing of the Re(e)d Sea is under the leadership of a very visible and well-recognised Moses. By contrast, the crossing of the River Jordan is forged by nameless priests who step out in faith under the anointing of the New Covenant, paving the way for others to follow and imitate. They are not after human recognition, for they have sold their visible cloak in order to buy the invisible "3rd sword", the sword of the Spirit, the sword that effects true and eternal transformation in the spirit realm. The immature believer, however, becomes infatuated with the visible priest, the visible maiden from the visible temple, the one that operates in the visible realm and under more natural religious paradigms. This infatuation with the Levitical priesthood prevents him seeing the value of the Melchizedek priesthood, and, as a result, he remains ungrateful to it and is unable to enter into the fullness of that priesthood calling in his own life.

When the prince married the temple maiden, the little mermaid was "doomed" to perish as sea foam. Her sisters sacrificed their hair to get the little mermaid a knife that she could kill the prince with and return to a mermaid body, thereby undoing the terrible sacrifice she had made. Even with the knife in her hand, and despite her family's advice to return to her previous life, the little mermaid chose not to kill the prince, which meant certain death for her. She threw herself overboard from the ship she, the prince, and the temple maiden were on. However, because of her self sacrifice, she did not become sea foam and perish; instead, she rose from the sea foam and became a "Daughter of the Air", and she was told that she could gain an eternal soul after 300-years worth of good deeds. The "daughters of the air" in the story point to the cloud of green-horse witnesses who perish without seeing the vision fulfilled in their lifetime. These believers remain trapped in the intermediate 5th-seal stage, waiting for the time of 6th-seal redemption to be manifested. In the story, the 300-year waiting period can be either lengthened or shortened by the actions of men. When a daughter of the air flies into a man's house and finds a son of man behaving well, a year is taken from their waiting period, and, if she finds a son of man behaving improperly, they must shed tears of sorrow (Psalm 126), with each tear adding a day to their waiting period. This speaks of how green-horse riders become beholden to the willingness of others. When the Church is indifferent to God's latter-rain plans, the manifestation of God's kingdom is delayed. When believers react to God's latter-day purposes, the manifestation is accelerated (2 Peter 3:12).

In the story, the "daughters of the air" have a voice so spiritual that no human ear could detect it, and they could move about the Earth's atmosphere without limitations. All of this points to how God's green-horse riders are able to break the sound and light barriers and operate at spiritual dimensions that natural believers are unable to reach or even discern. Unlike natural believers, green-horse believers are not bound by a "parochial" view of the Church. Instead, they have a vision of God's Kingdom as a generalised manifestation that envelops the entire atmosphere of the Earth, permeating the entire spectrum of the human experience. They are not wrapped up in a limited religious world, awaiting a magical rapture that will never come. This is why the impact of their spiritual work reaches across the nations of the Earth, without being bound by the limitations of time and space that imprison natural man. Therefore, it is ironic but true that the green-horse riders who are trapped in the 5th-seal cloud are, in reality, the spiritually "freest" humans. Even when they are bound by the whimsical will of others, they have the greatest potential and ability to impact the nations of the Earth.

The term "daughters of the air" used by Andersen in his story also points to the "episynagoge" that is mentioned only twice in Scripture (in 2 Thessalonians 2:1 and Hebrews 10:25). As we have shared before, the "episynagoge" is the spiritual gathering that most believers never attend, even when they go to church Sunday after Sunday, participating in all the church's events and interacting with all the brothers and sisters. In that sense, the lonely and unappreciated congregators at the "episynagoge" are more spiritually connected and in touch with the Body of Christ on Earth than the religious churchgoers will ever be.

If you read the original version of the story, you will notice that Hans Christian Andersen explicitly speaks of the little mermaid lifting her eyes towards "God's sun" after she threw herself overboard to perish as sea foam. This points to the Sun of God's Righteousness (Malachi 4) that green-horse believers long to see shining over an Earth that is currently ruled by the Soul Moon. Hans Christian Andersen also states that the daughters of the air rise "to the kingdom of God" after their 300-year waiting period is over, which points to the kingdom vision that the cloud of witnesses have their sights set on (a vision that the rest of the Church remains unable to understand). Hans Christian Andersen also writes that "God shortens our days of trial" when a child of man is found to be behaving well upon a visitation by a daughter of the air. This points to God's burning desire to shorten the green-horse rider's ordeal, an ordeal that is unjustly lengthened by the sons of men who are both unable and unwilling to understand God's latter-rain purposes on Earth.

The ugly duckling

As indicated on wikipedia.org, "The Ugly Duckling" is a story about a swan that is born amongst ducklings and who suffers a great deal of persecution and scorn for being different and for appearing "ugly" when compared to the ducks and other animals around him. Even though he looked "grey" and "ugly" at the beginning, he was a white swan on the inside waiting to come out. This is a figure of the believer who is hatched in the middle of the Church's Old-Covenant structures but who one day has a white-horse epiphany and realises that he or she is a Melchizedek priest, a member of a spiritual royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people set apart by God to manifest His Glory on Earth (1 Peter 2:9).

Interestingly enough, the ugly duckling's egg takes longer to hatch than the other eggs, which speaks of the spiritual process that true believers go through. Whereas the Church wants to produce half-baked Ammonite semi-converts with the same speed that a low-class fast food chain churns out bad food, God's desire is to produce true believers in the Spirit through judgement processes founded on righteousness. Even if the process takes longer than the blind and impatient soul is willing to tolerate, it is the only way to yield true sons and daughters of God that are pleasant to God's soul.

In the story, the ugly duckling enters into conflict with the "duck community" that is all around him due to his different appearance, which correlates with the conflict that red-horse riders endure as the white-horse revelation within them puts them in unavoidable friction with all the believers who remain comfortable under the old structures. In the story, once the conflict reached a "breaking point", the ugly duckling leaves the "brothers and sisters" he was born amongst and goes out into the lonely world on his own. This correlates with the black-horse stage where believers go out into the lonely wilderness of scarcity and are forced to "survive on their own" under a direct impartation from God above. No longer under the red-tile covering of Cain, the black-horse rider is forced to look up into the uncovered sky and seek covering from the Invisible One, the Lord God Himself.

After leaving the ducks, the duckling was forced to escape from some hunters. The bullets that these hunters shot at the duckling point to the spiritual attacks that those who remain under the old structures launch against those who have refused the covering of man and have gone out into the black-horse wilderness. These spiritual attacks can be manifested in idle gossiping and "reputation-besmirching" comments spoken against those who are no longer "present". By the same token, those in the black-horse wilderness are also launching spiritual judgements against the stubborn Church they left behind. These invisible judgement missiles are laden with God's apostolic and prophetic anointings, exposing those left behind to the emptiness of their religious activities and methods.

After evading the hunters' gunfire, the duckling "ran across fields and meadows". This points to the perilous run towards the "house on the meadow" that green-horse riders undertake. The duckling then reached a miserable little hovel and went inside to escape the fierce storm. Inside that house lived an old woman with her cat and her hen. According to the story, "the cat was the master and the hen was the mistress" in that house. The two of them had such a limited vision of the world that they thought of themselves as "half of the world", with them being the better half. As we have shared before, cats, in a negative context, point to the Hivite spirit, and, as we have also said before, the Hivite spirit is a "village" spirit that limits people's spiritual vision, causing them to believe that the world was created to serve them and fulfil their every desire. This correlates with the self-absorbed vision that the cat and the hen had about themselves, and it also correlates with the fact that the old woman in the house was short-sighted, to the point that she mistook the duckling for a fat duck. The old woman waited for 3 weeks in the hopes that the duckling was about to lay eggs, but, as was to be expected, the duckling didn't produce any eggs, given that he was a male.

As we have said before, the spirit of Korah, the spirit that green-horse riders war against, has a strong Hivite impartation. Therefore, the hovel that the duckling ran into was a house run by the Hivite spirit of Korah, which emphasises the fact that the duckling was in the green-horse stage of his walk. As we have also studied before, Korah is a clever schemer who loves to rape and take advantage of anyone weak or vulnerable that comes across its path. This is the reason why the first thing that the old woman thought of when she saw the vulnerable duckling was all the eggs that she could get from him. The fact that she confused him with a female also points to the "androgynous" nature that green-horse riders manifest as they enter into the fullness of their green-horse work. As we have said before, green-horse riders cloak themselves in vulnerability in order to draw Korah's attack, which makes them appear like weak "females" to the enemy, with the inherent strength of their "male" spirit nature hidden underneath.

In the story, the hovel was the first house that the duckling lived under ever since he left the barnyard. This correlates with how the green-horse rider is forced to "return to Jerusalem" in order to die there, just as the Lord Jesus did when He went to Jerusalem, the epicentre of the corrupted faith, in order to be slain. This brief "return" to the decrepit Church is spiritual in nature, even though it can have literal overtones. When the green-horse rider "returns", his intention is not to re-accomodate himself to the Church structures he left behind. Instead, it is to act as vulnerable bait and draw Korah's attack.

In the story, when the duckling tells the hen about the joys of swimming in water, the hen chastises him by saying, "Surely you don't think you are cleverer than the cat and the old woman, to say nothing of myself. Don't be so conceited". This points to Korah's delusions of grandeur. Even as the cat, the hen, and the old woman lived in a run-down little house in the middle of nowhere, they thought of themselves as the "crème de la crème", as the kings of the hill whose wisdom and grandeur were unparalleled. This correlates with Korah's inherent self-deception, a deception that causes him to think he is walking around in regal attire when he is actually naked and wretched.

Because of the harassment he received in the cat's home, the duckling eventually left and went to live by the water on his own. He then spent a cold autumn and winter on his own, and he continued to be slighted "by every living creature because of his ugliness". This points to the 5th-seal hibernation that green-horse believers go through after their sacrificial "death" and the subtle (but very real) Jebusite-Hittite harassment they go through during that period. The only thing that keeps believers going during this protracted period is the vision of God's redemption and the hope of seeing the "manifestation of the sons of God" (Romans 8:18-24). Therefore, it is no coincidence that the duckling in Andersen's story began to see white swans for the first time during this period. The duckling felt drawn to them, and he longed to be with them, even when he felt he was too ugly to be in their company. As he gazed up at the flock of swans, his heart became excited, for he was beholding the manifestation within him that was "dying" to get out.

During this period of hibernation, the duckling in the story was found by a farmer who took him in after finding him frozen in the ice. Whilst at the farmer's house, however, the duckling was startled by some playful children who wanted to catch him and play around with him. As he escaped from them, he caused a ruckus, splashing some milk all over the room. The farmer's wife became so angry that she tried to attack him with some fire tongs, but he was able to escape, finding himself once again out in the bitterly cold snow. This incident is a figure of how believers during the 5th-seal period may be tempted to give up their calling and embrace the warmth of certain types of believers in order to escape from the harshness of their 5th-seal isolation. These believers are the ones who broke away from the traditional Church because they perceived its fallacies, but they got lost somewhere along the way due to some "Sisera" fallacy that came their way. Because they become more enchanted with the thrill of the "rebellious" journey than with the tortuous search for an immovable truth, they are easily captured by subtle heresies that have an element of truth to them but are at the end false, like a poisonous, inedible plant that resembles a healthy, edible plant. When God calls you to rebel against man's ways, he is not calling you to rebel for rebellion's sakes. He is calling you to build a foundation of truth so that truth may be established on Earth. There is an end-goal to the journey; it is not a wandering journey for wandering's sake. In that sense, we can say that we are not called to be a "Christopher McCandless" aimlessly wandering across the land; instead, we are called to be a "Christopher Columbus" sailing to find a new land to the blessing of others and the glory of God.

As we have studied before, the key to overcoming the Sisera fallacies that may nullify your journey involves giving those fallacies "basic-doctrine milk", the way Jael did to Sisera. This correlates with the milk that the duckling splashed all around the farmer's house as he escaped from the grasp of the little boys and the farmer's wife. Jael also covered Sisera with a mantle, which is symbolised in the story by the fact that the duckling flew into a butter tub and then in and out of a meal barrel, meaning that he became covered with butter and grain. In a sense, it is as if he was furiously trying to shake off the Sisera contamination that was on him, like a person feverishly rubbing himself with a cream to cover and nullify a contamination on his skin.

After escaping from a "Sisera" trapping at the farmer's house, the duckling went through many more hardships that rough winter; but, by the time spring finally came around, he had blossomed into a beautiful white swan, and he was able to join 3 other white swans in the sky. Instead of being mocked, he was now being praised and applauded by people, which points to the 6th-seal vindication that comes after the woes of the 5th-seal phase. It is at this time that the white horse from the 1st seal reappears, only now it comes to exact God's vengeance upon the soul matriarchy that resisted His remnant (Revelation 19:11-21).

As shown by all of the above, Hans Christian Andersen's 3 most famous tales are spiritual portrayals of the remnant's journey through the green-horse stage and beyond. This certifies even further the spiritual connection between Denmark and the final 3 seals of the Apocalypse. Given that human history is currently going through the 5th-seal stage, it becomes even more evident why Denmark is spiritually relevant in the remnant's emergence from the 5th seal and into the 6th and 7th seals. When the remnant are able to emerge from the 5th seal, they will overcome at last and be able to rest from all of their works, and Denmark is spiritually related to that rest.

If the Lord allows it, we will sharing more on the spiritual relevance of Denmark in a future posting...
