I recently heard a
sermon by Chuck Missler in reference to the Genesis 14 story, the battle of the
nine kings, and, then, the battle between Abram and the four kings. Chuck
Missler mentioned in passing that the names of the kings/cities had root
meanings in names of head demons. I have been trying to track down the etymology
of these kings' and cities' names and have not been successful in tracking down
the correlation with demons/idols. Can you offer insight or resources that may
help in this research?

"Chapter 14 [1990s]"; when you click on that link, it will ask you to download a
file that will allow you to hear the study. If you prefer, you can also click on
this

never heard of Chuck Missler until this email came in, and I only felt led to
look for and listen to this bible study until after this word had been
completed. We had wished that this would be the study that the site visitor was
referring to, but apparently it is not. The study focuses mostly on Abraham and
Lot, and the only direct reference to the 4 kings and the 5 kings is in a brief
stretch between ]
