The sons of Javan - Elishah

This article is the fifth in a series meditating on the spiritual significance of the sons of Japheth, son of Noah. It is also the first in a sub-series of articles on the sons of Javan, son of Japheth.

Jumping to Javan

As we have studied in previous postings, Genesis 10 first lists the 7 sons of Japheth, son of Noah. After this, the Spirit of God lists the 3 sons of Gomer, the first son of Japheth. However, it is interesting to note that the Spirit of God did not proceed to list the sons of all the other sons of Japheth. Instead, He chose to only list the sons of another son of Japheth, Javan:

"And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim" (Genesis 10:4)

As we studied before, Javan is the father of the "Latin" racial group in Europe. As it turns out, each of the sons listed by the Spirit of God in Genesis 10:4 can be linked to each of the major sub-groups that comprise the "Latin" racial group in Europe. Each of these sub-groups reflects a different side of the "Latin" spiritual profile. We will now focus on Javan's first son listed in Genesis 10:4: Elishah.

Prophetic Elishah

The name "Elishah" literally means "God of the coming (one)". Hence, it is clear that it has a strong prophetic connotation (in the sense that it points towards someone coming in the future). Thus, it is no coincidence that the name "Elishah" is phonetically identical to the name of the most powerful prophet mentioned in the so-called "Old Testament", the prophet Elisha. The names "Elishah" and "Elisha" are also identical in their Hebrew spelling except for the last letter, which is the letter he (the equivalent of a soft "h" in English) in the son of Javan and ayin (one of the two equivalents of "a" in English) in the famous prophet.

The name Elishah only appears 3 times in Scripture, once in Genesis 10:4 above, once in 1 Chronicles 1:7 (which is a repetition of Genesis 10:4), and for the 3rd and last time in Ezekiel 27:7:

"Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee" (Ezekiel 27:7)

Notice, therefore, that the only description of Elishah in Scripture links him to using the colours blue and purple as a covering. This immediately points to the Celts, since, as described on Wikipedia, the Celts were known for painting themselves in blue when going out to war. This implicit connection between Elishah and the Celts is emphasised by the fact that the Celts are the most prophetic of the 5 European "racial groups" (as we have shared before).

Blue Elishah

The word "blue" in Ezekiel 27:7 above was translated from the Hebrew word tekeleth, which appears in 49 different verses in Scripture. Interestingly enough, 34 of those 49 verses are in the book of Exodus, which is the most prophetic of the 5 books of the Torah (Genesis is apostolic, Exodus is prophetic, Leviticus is evangelistic, Numbers is pastoral, and Deuteronomy is teacherly). This once again emphasises Elishah's connection to the prophetic endowment and, hence, to the Celts in Europe.

The word tekeleth is used in Exodus in reference to ...

  • ... the Holy Tabernacle

This reveals tekeleth's connection to priesthood, which once again points to the Celts since, as we have said before, Celts are the European "racial group" most directly linked to priesthood. In a sense, Celts are the European version of Persians, who are the "racial group" linked to the priestly tribe of Levi.

  • ... voluntary offerings

This emphasises tekeleth's connection to the prophetic endowment, since that is the endowment most directly related to voluntary sacrifices.

  • ... the attire that Aaronic priests were called to wear

This re-emphasises tekeleth's connection to priesthood, and, hence, to the Celts in Europe.

  • ... Bezaleel, son of Uri, son of Hur, anointed with special craftsmanship

Bezaleel was the chief artificer of the Holy Tabernacle, which yet again emphasises tekeleth's connection to priesthood. The fact that Bezaleel descended from Hur implicitly points to the incident that Hur is most well-known for: the time when Moses prayed from the top of a hill as the people of God waged war against Amalek down below:

"8 Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim. 9 And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. 10 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. 11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. 13 And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword." (Exodus 17:8-13)

As you may see, the passage above refers to prophetic intercession that wages warfare in the heavenlies so as to forge manifestations in the tangible realm below. Hence, the fact that Bezaleel descended from Hur once again points to the prophetic endowment and, thus, to the Celts in Europe. The fact that Aaron was the person who stood with Hur to hold up Moses' hands also emphasises the connection to priesthood.

The word tekeleth meaning "blue" is apparently derived from the word shecheleth meaning "onycha", which only appears in the following verse in Scripture:

"And the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight" (Exodus 30:34)

As declared in Revelation 8:4, incense refers to prayers that go up to God in Heaven, and, as we have shared before, the endowment most directly related to prayer is the prophetic endowment. Therefore, the fact that shecheleth (i.e. onycha) was an ingredient used in holy incense once again emphasises the spiritual connection between tekeleth blue and the prophetic endowment, especially in the context of priesthood. Thus, when the Spirit of God linked "blue" to Elishah in the only verse describing him, He reaffirmed the connection between Elishah and the Celts.

Purple Elishah

As we saw in the previous section, Ezekiel 27:7 associates "blue and purple" to Elishah. The word "purple" used there was translated from the Hebrew word argaman, which apparently refers to a reddish shade of purple; argaman appears in 38 verses, with 26 of those verses in the book of Exodus. This means that, just like tekeleth, argaman appears between 68% and 69% of the time in Exodus, the most prophetic of the 5 books of the Torah. It is also interesting to note that tekeleth and argaman appear together in 32 verses of Scripture, with 26 of those being in Exodus, meaning that argaman is often used in the same spiritual context of prophetic priesthood as tekeleth. This writer has no discernment on the exact spiritual difference between the 2 words, but it is safe to say that their spiritual meanings are very similar and that everything that we shared about tekeleth above applies to argaman as well. Therefore, it is also safe to say that argaman once again reinforces the spiritual linkage between Elishah and the Celts in Europe.

The Elishah covering

As we saw earlier, Ezekiel 27:7 speaks of "blue and purple from the isles of Elishah ... that covered thee". The word "covered" was translated from the Hebrew verb mekacceh, which is only used in 4 verses of Scripture, the last one being Ezekiel 27:7. We shall consider the 3 other verses below.

The covering omentum

The first appearance of mekacceh in Scripture is in verse 19 of the following passage, translated as "covereth":

"18 He slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about, 19 And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver: 20 And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar: 21 And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded." (Leviticus 9:18-21)

Notice how the passage above once again points towards priesthood and, hence, towards the Celts in Europe. Notice also that mekacceh is used to refer to the omentum, i.e. the large apron-like fold of visceral peritoneum that envelops the intestines (according to wikipedia.org). The omentum is the first structure observed when the abdominal cavity is opened in the front, meaning that it refers to the layer of spiritual work that is invisible to the natural eye but acts as the intermediary between workings in the spirit realm and their physical manifestation in the natural realm.

Because it contains fatty tissue, the omentum can store fat, which once again points to the prophetic endowment, since "fat" and "oil" are interrelated, and "oil" is related to the prophetic endowment. The omentum also provides immunity protection because it has milky spots that collect macrophages, which are white blood cells that engulf and eat up cellular debris, foreign substances, microbes, and even cancer cells (according to wikipedia.org). This points to the spiritual work (done by the remnant) that protects God's spiritual operations in His willing people, shielding them from damage from the natural realm.

The worm covering

The second time that mekacceh appears in Scripture is in verse 11 of the following passage, translated as "cover":

"9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. 10 All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? 11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee." (Isaiah 14:9-11)

The word "worms" in the phrase "the worms cover thee" of verse 11 was translated from the Hebrew word towla, which is also used in Scripture as the name of the judge "Tola" in Judges 10. As we have studied before, the name Tola and its word in Hebrew speak of green-horse riders who are willing to be led down to Sheol so as to perform deep, underground spiritual work that does eternal damage to the enemy. Therefore, it is no coincidence that the passage above speaks of "hell" (i.e. Sheol in Hebrew), where God's green-horse worms cover the enemy. All of this subtly points to the Celts in Europe since, as we have shared before, the European "racial group" that is most innately related to the green horse of the Apocalypse are the Celts.

As you can see, the "worm covering" above has the implicit connotation of the worms devouring the enemy, just as worms devour cadavers buried in the ground. This correlates with the omentum covering of Leviticus 9:19, since, as we mentioned above, the omentum has collections of macrophages that engulf and devour foreign content that does not belong in the body.

The covering taken from Tyre

The next time (and last before Ezekiel 27:7) that mekacceh appears in Scripture is in verse 18 of the following passage, where it is translated as "clothing":

"17 And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth. 18 And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing." (Isaiah 23:17-18)

Notice that mekacceh appears in the context of clothing from Tyre. As we have shared before, Tyre is spiritually related to the treason that the remnant will suffer from within the Church, and, as we have also mentioned before, Gad, the tribe that the Celts are related to, is prophesied in Scripture (in a subtle way) to be part of a major treason against the remnant that has caused an extra burden to be placed on the spiritual tribe of Zebulun. Thus, the above passage reveals once again the spiritual connection between mekacceh and the Celts in Europe, this time in the context of the Celts' treason and the retrieval of their spiritual clothing so that it can be used by God's remnant. Since the Celts and the tribe of Gad are so strongly linked to priesthood, we can conclude that the "durable clothing" referred to in the passage above points to a visible exercise of their priesthood by God's remnant (as when a priest is recognised by the clothes that he wears). And that visible exercise of priesthood will include the deserved benefits that come with priestly work. Currently, the remnant work out their priesthood in anonymity, without the recognition and the practical rewards that should come from their work. These benefits have, in a sense, been hoarded not only by the pastoral matriarchy but by the Tyre traitors who sold out the remnant to the matriarchy in order to be given a share of those benefits. Had they not sold out the remnant, they would have enabled the remnant to exercise their priesthood in a more visible way, which would have allowed the remnant to enjoy more of the benefits from their priestly work. The fact that the restoration of these benefits is being mentioned (in Isaiah 23:18) in the (implicit) context of Elishah (by way of the word mekacceh) indicates that the descendants of Elishah will have a role in this restoration.

The "Tyre believers" have had access to resources within the pastoral matriarchy, and they had the option to enable the remnant through those resources. However, they chose to side with the Church's matriarchy so as to consolidate their earthly status. This also points to the Celts in another way. As we have shared before, the Celtic people were "genetically endowed" by God to act as "double-agents" capable of interacting with the enemy in order to infiltrate it and destroy it from within. Unfortunately, the Celts (i.e. the human "tribe of Gad") have generally chosen to align themselves with the enemy after interacting with it, using that interaction as a way to consolidate themselves instead of using it to destroy the enemy. All of this correlates with the role of macrophages in the organism, which (as we shared above) interact with "enemy" cells and substances to destroy them. The Celtic or Gadite "macrophages" in the Church, however, have chosen to derive mutually-beneficial strength from the enemy "cells" after interacting with them (instead of devouring them). Thus, we can see that Isaiah 23:17-18 above is speaking of God's judgement on this Celtic betrayal, a judgement that will rectify the wrong done by Gad, thereby allowing the remnant to be finally clothed in the elegant priestly clothing that they should have received through the help of "Celtic Tyre".

It is worth noting that the word "durable" at the end of Isaiah 23:18 is a slight mistranslation of the Hebrew word athiyq, which is derived from the verb athaq meaning "to move, proceed, advance, grow old". In a positive sense, athaq has the connotation of someone being promoted and empowered, as shown in the following verse, where athaq is translated as "become old":

"Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power?" (Job 21:7)

In the natural, matriarchal system, the wicked are promoted and grow "mighty in power", and it requires the work of "Tyre" believers to revert that unrighteous trend and allow the remnant to be promoted and empowered. When those "Tyre" believers betray their calling, however, it is the wicked who continue to hold the power, which allows them to delay the manifestation of God's Kingdom on Earth. Hence, Isaiah 23:17-18 above is declaring that, at the end of the day, the remnant will receive the promotion and empowerment that the Tyre people were originally supposed to provide them. At the end of the day, the remnant of God will indeed wear the visible "robes" of the priesthood that they have been exercising faithfully behind the scenes with little to no support.

"Eu seu Eliseu"

So far, we have seen Elishah's spiritual connection to the Celts in Europe. Yet, Elishah was a son of Javan who, as we shared before, is the father of the Latins "racial group" in Europe. Therefore, the question becomes "What Latins in Europe are related to Elishah?" To answer this, we must ask the question "What Latins are most strongly related to the Celts?"

Who are the "Celtic Latins"?

As some of you may know, the northern part of Spain has significant Celtic influence, to the point that northern regions in Spain such as Galicia and Asturias are considered by many to be "Celtic nations", as mentioned on wikipedia.org. In fact, the name "Galicia" itself is derived from the Gallaeci, a Celtic tribe that dominated the region north of the Duoro river, a river that flows from north-central Spain to Porto in Portugal (as indicated on wikipedia.org). Despite this, it would be difficult to state that Spain as a whole has a strong Celtic influence, especially if one considers that the provinces of Galicia, Asturias, and Cantabria only comprise 9% of Spain's total area, with over 63% of that 9% being taken up by Galicia alone. Galicia lies directly on top of Portugal, making it a natural "extension" of Portugal when one views Spain and Portugal on a map:

Galicia in Spain (plus Canarias)

In the map above, Galicia is in red, and the 2 narrow provinces directly to the east of Galicia (on the northern edge) are Asturias and Cantabria respectively. Therefore, if we decided to "complete" the slice that Portugal takes out of the west side of the Iberian peninsula by annexing Galicia to it, the Celtic influence in Spain becomes isolated to a very narrow strip of land in the northwestern corner of the country. This validates even further that Spain cannot be considered a country strongly influenced by the Celts, even though portions of it were clearly influenced by it. Further evidence that Celtic influence is much more relevant in Portugal than in Spain is that (at the time of this writing), Wikipedia has a separate article titled "List of Celtic place names in Portugal", but it has no equivalent article for Spain (even though there is an equivalent article for Galicia proper, which emphasises the localised nature of the Celtic influence in Spain).

Another quasi-Latin country with known Celtic influence would be France, but, just as with Spain, the Celts' influence is concentrated in the northwestern part of the country. As indicated on wikipedia.org, what is now metropolitan France was inhabited and controlled by the Gauls, a Celtic people, between the iron age and the century before the birth of Christ. The Romans conquered the Gauls in 51 B.C., controlling the area until the Germanic Franks took over in 476 AD. This shows how France is actually an eclectic combination of Latins (from the conquering Roman Italians and the Spaniards to the west), Germanics (from the Germanic Franks), and Celts (from the original Gauls). France did receive an additional infusion of Celtic influence when Celtic Britons fled the Anglo-Saxon conquest of Britain and settled in what is now known as Brittany. Even so, it remains difficult to claim that France is strongly Celtic, mostly because any sense of Celtic identity is circumscribed to Brittany, with the Roman and Germanic influence looming much larger in French culture.

Having discarded Spain and France as potential "Latin" nations with a strong Celtic influence, we must also discard Italy and Greece. This is because these nations developed a very unique culture that was minimally affected by the Celts despite their occasional encounters with them. Romania, a country that can be considered Latin, is too strongly influenced by the surrounding Slavic nations to be considered a nation with a strong Celtic influence. This leaves only one major Latin nation in Europe, the nation the lies directly below the Celtic region of Galicia: Portugal.

Celtic Lusitanians

Modern-day Portuguese are descendants of the Lusitanians, a tribe that controlled the west of the Iberian peninsula before being conquered by the Romans and becoming the Roman province of Lusitania. Interestingly enough, the Romans originally included Asturias and Galicia within the province of Lusitania, which indicates that the Celtic influence in Spain is actually more closely linked to neighbouring Portugal than to Spain itself.

As indicated on wikipedia.org, Lusitanian mythology actually declares that Elishah son of Javan, under the name Lysias or Lisias, is the ancestor of Lusus, the founding father of Lusitania. The 17th century Portuguese orator and mythographer António Vieira reinforces Portugal's linkage to Elishah by referring to Elishah (whom Vieira calls by his Biblical name) as the founder and eponym of Lusitania and Lisbon (the modern capital of Portugal). All of this begs the question "Why would the Lusitanians, out of thin air, link themselves to Elishah, son of Javan, son of Noah, unless there was an actual historical and genealogical linkage to him?". Thus, if this linkage between Portugal and Elishah is to be embraced, is there any evidence that, out of all the Latin peoples in Europe, the Portuguese are the ones most strongly influenced by the Celts?

To answer this question, we must consider postings such as the one in quora.com that asks the question "Is Portugal a Celtic or Latin country?". As mentioned by a Portuguese man named Joćo Silva who gave an answer to this question on the Quora page, renowned Portuguese authors such as Leite de Vasconcelos and Francisco Cunha Lećo and British academics such as Barry Cunliffe believe that the Portuguese are imbued with Celtic customs, with Cunha Lećo going so far as to say that Portugal's Celtic influence is at the heart of the Portuguese people's psychological makeup. Mr. Silva also points out the fact that, according to Eupedia Iron-Age autosomal maps, the majority of Portuguese relate genetically with DNA haplogroup R1b, which is typical in Celts. In fact, it is estimated that 7 out of 10 Portuguese have Celtic genetics, whereas only 2 out of 10 Portuguese have South European genetics and only 2 out of 10 have West Germanic genetics. Mr. Silva goes on to declare that Celtic influence in Portugal is visible in many things such as the modern presence of Portuguese bagpipe bands, folk beliefs that are clearly Celtic, Celtic folk dancing, the use of Celtic-style masks, Celtic-style traditional dresses, Varapau martial art (which is of Celtic origin), etc. From all of this, we can safely conclude that Portugal is, without a doubt, the most Celtic of all Latin nations in Europe, which confirms its self-confessed linkage to Elishah. In other words, Elishah represents the Portuguese branch of the Latin "racial group" in Europe, and it is the branch that is most strongly endowed with Celtic genetics, both literally and spiritually.

The subtle German connection

It is interesting to consider that, besides declaring Elishah as the father of the Lusitanians, Lusitanian mythology also declares that Elishah arrived in Portugal accompanied by his uncle Tubal (son of Japheth and brother of Elishah's father Javan), who helped him to found the city of Portalegre, as indicated on wikipedia.org. As we have shared before, myths and legends often contain elements of deep spiritual truth, even if they are distorted in many ways. Therefore, the fact that Lusitanian mythology somehow decided to link Tubal with Elishah's arrival of Portugal cannot be summarily dismissed as nothing more than a "pagan legend". This writer believes that this claim is historically correct, but, even if it were not literally true, there is something about this that has a ring of spiritual truth to it and that it reflects a real spiritual connection between Elishah's Portugal and Tubal's Germanics. Having said this, this writer must admit that it is very difficult to find a direct and clearly visible linkage between Elishah and Tubal in Scripture. Even so, the linkage is there in a very subtle way, but you must look for it to see it.

As we have shared above, Elishah is only mentioned in 3 verses of Scripture. Two of those verses are identical verses listing the sons of Javan (Genesis 10:4 and 1 Chronicles 1:7) and the third verse is Ezekiel 27:7, which we have studied above. Given that Ezekiel 27 is the only place in Scripture that says anything (explicitly) distinct about Elishah, it is safe to conclude that, if there is any real linkage between Elishah and Tubal, it will be present in Ezekiel 27.

As we saw earlier, Ezekiel 27:7 per se does not mention Tubal. However, Tubal is only mentioned once in the chapter, in the verse below:

"Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market." (Ezekiel 27:13)

Notice that Tubal is mentioned immediately after Javan, who happens to be the father of Elishah. Since Elishah is listed as Javan's first son in Genesis 10:4, it can be said that Elishah is the son that most directly represents Javan. This joint mention of Tubal and Javan indicates that the Germanic sons of Tubal and the Latin sons of Javan were destined to have some sort of linkage and that, as Javan's first son, Elishah would be the one on whom that influence would be the most spiritually relevant. It must be added that, out of the 4 sons of Javan listed in Genesis 10:4, only 3 are mentioned in Ezekiel 27: Chittim (or "Kittim") in verse 6, Elishah in verse 7, and Tarshish in verses 12 and 25. The fact that Tarshish is mentioned 1 more time than Elishah in Ezekiel 27 indicates that the Germanic connection to the Latin sons of Tarshish will be more "evident" to the natural eye than the connection to the Portuguese sons of Elishah (this will hopefully become more evident when we consider who the modern-day sons of Tarshish are). Even so, this writer believes that Tubal's connection to Elishah is much more profound and spiritually relevant than the one to Tarshish. The fact that Chittim son of Javan is also mentioned in the verse (v6) immediately before the one mentioning Elishah (v7) indicates that this more profound linkage is also related in some way to the sons of Chittim. Hopefully, Chittim's involvement in this linkage will also become more evident when we consider who the modern-day descendants of Chittim are.

Brazil and the Germans

As most of you may know, Portugal's "most famous" former colony is Brazil. In many ways, it can be said that Brazil is to Portugal what the United States is to Britain, not only because Brazil is the most populous and "successful" of Portugal's former colonies but because Brazil has also had a very diverse immigration history from countries all around the world (as indicated on wikipedia.org). Therefore, it can be said that the Portuguese people of Brazil have had the opportunity to grow free from some of the shackles that have held back the people back in Portugal (just as the people in America were able to grow free from some of the spiritual shackles hindering the people of England and the UK).

Unbeknownst to many, there is a strong German presence in Brazil. According to wikipedia.org, there are 12 million Brazilians of German descent, and Germans are the 5th largest immigration group in Brazil after the Portuguese, Italians, Spaniards, and Japanese. This means that Germans represent the largest non-Latin European immigration group in Brazil. The German presence in Brazil is not only significant when compared to other groups within Brazil proper, it is also significant when compared to other nations. For example, if you have the patience to take the quiz at sporcle.com, you will see that Brazil is the country with the 4th highest number of German speakers in the world, exceeded only by Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This is a remarkable fact, especially when you consider that German is the official language in both Germany and Austria and one of the official languages in Switzerland, where it is spoken by over 60% of the population, as indicated on wikipedia.org. This means that Brazil has the highest number of German speakers amongst all non-Germanic countries in the world, even when you include European countries such as France, which is a direct neighbour of both Germany and Switzerland (and is number 5 on the list, right below Brazil). Brazil even exceeds the number of German speakers in an immigration magnet such as the United States, which is number 6 on the list (no country after the United States has more than 1 million German speakers).

According to wikipedia.org, people of German descent actively participated in the industrialisation and development of big cities in Brazil such as Curitiba and Porto Alegre. This correlates with the account in Lusitanian mythology that has (Germanic) Tubal helping (Portuguese) Elishah to found the city of Portalegre in Portugal; even the fact that Germans helped the development of a city with an almost identical name in Brazil (i.e. Porto Alegre) is no spiritual coincidence. German relevance in the development of Brazilian cities is also reflected in the fact that there are 400,000 German Brazilians living in the metropolitan area of Brazil's largest and most advanced city, São Paulo. The skyline of São Paulo is so impressive that it can be confused with New York City's if you do not look carefully, which reflects the positive influence that Germanics have had on the Portuguese Brazilians and their cities.

A lesson from the 2018 World Cup

All of the above begins to explain the spiritual underpinnings behind the manifestation of Jair Bolsonaro, the current president of Brazil. As we shared around 15 years ago, Latin America's calling as a region died on 29 June, 2003, and only 3 countries were spared from God's rejection at that time: Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil. This writer was sincerely hopeful that these 3 nations would be able to survive the period prior to the latter rain without being rejected by God as well. However, as we have documented in great detail before, America's stupidity led to a 20-year delay in God's latter-rain manifestation, and, during that time, all 3 countries (Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil) seemed to make a concerted effort to embrace the death that had been decreed over the rest of Latin America. In 2014, as this writer was watching a football (a.k.a. "soccer") match where Argentina were playing some other team during the World Cup held in Brazil, it became very evident, from the Argentinean players' behaviour, that Argentina as a nation had died and joined the rest of Latin America in its eternal shame and banishment from God's presence. This was also evident about Uruguay as I watched them play during that World Cup, especially with the presence of that worthless hell-bound bastard luis suarez, a sub-human hispanic animal that embodies everything that is wrong with Latin America (and now Uruguay). To be frank, I began to have similar thoughts about Brazil as well, even though my repulsion towards them was not as strong. Even so, for all intents and purposes, this writer had concluded that all of Latin America, including Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil, had died a permanent, irredeemable death.

In 2018, however, something happened. As some of you know from some tweets we posted 6 to 7 years ago, the granting of the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to Russia and Qatar respectively was an abominable spiritual act performed by the God-hating portion of Europe that is so well represented in the corrupt organisation known as FIFA. Because of this, this writer made a personal commitment to boycott the 2018 World Cup, vowing not to watch a single match. Thus, the 2018 World Cup became the first World Cup that I did not follow on television at all since I was 5 years old (when I was too young to even understand what a "World Cup" was). Interestingly enough for this writer, I also did not follow the 1998 World Cup in France, but not out of a sense of indignation against it. It is just that there were too many spiritual things happening in my life at the time. Even so, I did watch a few matches on television, including part of the final where Brazil were surprisingly routed by France 3-0.

Because of my boycott, I did not watch a single match from the 2018 World Cup. I may have seen a combined total of 15 to 30 seconds, but only because of the few times when I accidentally turned my head towards some television set or computer screen in a public place that was airing one of the matches. I did follow that World Cup online, though, but only to make sure that all Latin American teams failed badly. Even though I mostly did not care who won or lost, I would always look at the schedule for matches featuring Latin American teams, and I would follow the score online in order to pray as needed for the Latin American teams to be shamed and driven out of the competition (this writer has done this active praying against Latin American teams since the 2006 World Cup, the first one after Latin America's death in 2003). To God's Glory, out of the 8 Latin American teams in 2018, only 2 made it to the quarter-finals, and not a single one made it to the semi-finals, making it only the 5th World Cup in 21 Cups (but the 2nd since 2006) without a single Latin American team in the semi-finals. Interestingly, God's repulsion towards anything "Latin-esque" was so profound that the 2018 World Cup became the first World Cup in history without a single Latin American or truly "Latin" European nation in the semi-finals. Some may want to argue that France is a "Latin" nation, but, as we have shared above and in previous articles, France is actually a mixture of many influences, especially Germanic and Celtic, making it very difficult to consider it a "Latin" nation the way you would Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece or even Romania (do note that our use of the word "Latin" includes Greece because of the undeniable common heritage between the Roman and Greek cultures).

Having said the above, this writer found it interesting that the only time I was led to pray for a Latin American team was when Brazil faced mexico in the round of 16. As we have shared before, God's wrath against mexico is intense and will never cease; mexico is an evil nation, rotten to the core, arrogant, corrupt, and self-righteous; mexico is the prototypical example of everything that is so spiritually repulsive about Latin America in the eyes of the Holy God of Israel. This is why it was crucial that mexico be driven out quickly, even if it meant praying for another Latin American team. However, I now understand that there was more to this than the simple elimination of mexico.

After Brazil faithfully executed their task of handily eliminating mexico 2-0 in the round of 16, the time came to pray against Brazil in the quarter-finals when they played against Belgium. The Lord had already pointed out to me that He was raising up Belgium during that World Cup to fulfil an important purpose. So, when I saw that Belgium would be Brazil's opponent, my heart was confident that Brazil would be defeated. Belgium went on to defeat Brazil 2-1, and I was finally able to rest secure that no Latin American team would survive to the semi-finals, especially since I knew that France, who had also been raised up by God for a specific purpose, could faithfully take care of the sub-human hispanic animal luis suarez and its worthless team Uruguay.

Both Brazil and Uruguay played (and were eliminated) on the same day, 6 July 2018. As I prayed and followed both matches online, I noticed that the comments posted by the Uruguayan fans before, during, and even after their match against France were arrogant and defiant, often containing lewd obscene language in Spanish. This served to certify in my heart that I was not wrong about declaring Uruguay a cursed and rejected nation, a nation that now shares in God's abomination of Latin America. However, when I saw the comments posted by Brazilians before, during, and after their match, I was taken aback. They constantly mentioned God, including sentences that said "Glory be to God" in Portuguese, and, even after Brazil had lost to Belgium, the Brazilian comments continued to openly praise God, congratulating the Belgians for their victory. This surprised me, not only because Brazilians take their football (or "soccer") very seriously but because I expected them to exhibit the same vulgar, third-world behaviour that hispanics (such as the Uruguayans now) are so prone to exhibiting. It is as if the Brazilians were saying to God, "We accept Your judgements against us, and we will continue to glorify You in the midst of them, even if we may not like what You just did to us".

The unexpected revelation

After Brazil had allowed itself to be led by the worthless communist bastard lula, it seemed clear that Brazil was going down the same path that Argentina had taken towards being eternally rejected by God. However, because of how Brazil accepted defeat by God in the 2018 World Cup, I began to wonder within me, "Could Brazil still be alive?". I continued to answer "No" within me, but that "no" began to grow an asterisk next to it.

Some months later, I began to hear about a man named Bolsonaro, a political candidate who was constantly referred to as the "Brazilian Trump". As I began to hear more about his words and actions, it became clear to me that this man was to be the litmus test to determine whether Brazil was dead or alive.

I began to follow the Brazilian polls from a distance, and I saw that Bolsonaro began to surge ahead of the other candidate (who was so irrelevant to me that I never bothered to know that candidate's name or even whether it was a biological male or female). That is when I heard that Bolsonaro had been shot and was in hospital, and I said to myself, "I guess I can erase the asterisk next to the 'No'; not enough people in Brazil seem to want God enough for Brazil to live. If Bolsonaro dies or has to withdraw as a presidential candidate, Brazil is dead. If he survives and wins the elections, Brazil is still alive".

Amazingly (to my soul), Bolsonaro not only recovered from the (rather serious) assassination attempt but went on to win the elections to become President of Brazil. To be frank, there was a part of my soul that remained unsure about openly declaring, "Brazil is alive". That is when the Lord led me to write this article, and, as He had me meditating on Elishah, my eyes were opened, and my perception of Portugal as a people and a nation became transformed. And, as I tried to make sense of Tubal's connection to Elishah, my eyes were opened to the reality that, yes, Brazil is indeed still alive. Just like Bolsonaro, Brazil was on its deathbed, and it looked as if Brazil was just as dead as the rest of Latin America, but, just like Bolsonaro, Brazil rose from its deathbed to snatch its calling back from the hands of satan.

As all of the above became clear to me, I asked the Lord, "How does the Germanic connection between Tubal and Elishah relate to Bolsonaro? Bolsonaro does not sound like a German surname; it doesn't even sound Portuguese; it must be Italian". Even so, my spirit perceived a strong connection between Bolsonaro and Germanic Tubal. That is when I learnt (just two days ago, on 19 January 2019) that Bolsonaro's family is mostly of Italian descent, "with some German ancestry", according to wikipedia.org. Interestingly, the Wikipedia article on Bolsonaro goes out of its way (at the time of this writing) to mention that Bolsonaro's German ancestry "came from his father's maternal grandfather, Carl 'Carlos' Hintze, born in Hamburg around 1876, who immigrated to Brazil in 1883".

{Having learnt that Bolsonaro had "Tubal-ian" blood in him, I still wondered why Bolsonaro had an Italian surname. It was as I searched for the word "Tubal" in Ezekiel 27 that Italy's presence in the Bolsonaro's story became clear, but we must wait until a future posting to share more on this.}

Even though Bolsonaro is already well-known around the world, this writer is certain that very few people know his full name (I myself did not know it until two days ago). His full name is Jair Messias Bolsonaro. The name "Messias" is the Portuguese equivalent of the Hebrew word "Messiah" meaning "anointed one", and, as you may know, Jair is also a Hebrew name, being the name of one of the judges mentioned in Judges chapter 10:

"1 And after Abimelech there arose to defend Israel Tola the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar; and he dwelt in Shamir in mount Ephraim. 2 And he judged Israel twenty and three years, and died, and was buried in Shamir. 3 And after him arose Jair, a Gileadite, and judged Israel twenty and two years. 4 And he had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass colts, and they had thirty cities, which are called Havothjair unto this day, which are in the land of Gilead. 5 And Jair died, and was buried in Camon." (Judges 10:1-5)

Notice that Jair arose immediately after Tola, whose name is strongly related to Elishah in Scripture (as we saw above). As we have studied before, Tola represents the underground "worm work" of digging through the earth to set a sacrificial, green-horse foundation, and Jair represents the overt revelation of that work. Hence, Jair Bolsonaro's manifestation in Brazil is the result of the spiritual work of Elishah-ite Tola's (including Bolsonaro himself). Notice also that Jair had 30 sons who had 30 cities, which correlates with the role that (Germanic) Tubal has in the building of "Portuguese" Elishah cities such as São Paulo.

Elishah's Havoth-Jair

It is also interesting that Jair Bolsonaro was born in the state of São Paulo, whose capital is the homonymous city of São Paulo. The fact that Bolsonaro was not born in the city per se but rather in the small municipality of Glicério also has spiritual significance. According to wikipedia.org, Glicério has a population of around 4,773 in an area of 273 km2 (around 105 miles2). The sparse population spread out over such a large area means that Bolsonaro was born in what could be called a "village environment". This correlates with the name "Havothjair" in Judges 10:4 above since "Havothjair" literally means "villages of Jair". In this context, the "villages" point to God's Spirit of Prosperity, the Spirit of Laodicea, whose impartation turns into the Hivite spirit when distorted. All of this correlates with the fact that the state of São Paulo produces a third of Brazil's total GDP, even though it is only one of 26 states in Brazil (according to wikipedia.org). São Paulo is so productive that its nominal GDP would be in the top 20 in the world if it were its own country. São Paulo state is so prosperous when compared to everything that surrounds it that it is, by itself, richer than the hispanic countries of Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia combined. This is even more remarkable if one considers that São Paulo state has all this productivity in an area that is roughly the size of the U.S. state of Michigan (if it were an American state, São Paulo would be the 23rd largest state in America, as per the data on Wikipedia). Not only is São Paulo relatively prosperous but it is also the safest Brazilian state by a long shot (no pun intended), with a murder rate that is 1/4 the rate in all of Brazil. This correlates with the fact that the Jehovah name for God's Spirit of Prosperity is Jehovah-Shalom (Jehovah Peace).

It is also interesting to consider that the 30 cities known as Havothjair that are mentioned in Judges 10:4 were in the land of "Gilead", whose name bears a "coincidental" resemblance to the municipality of "Glicério" where Bolsonaro was born. The name Gilead can be translated as "rocky region", which, in a sense, points to the relative prosperity of São Paulo in the midst of the rocky and spiritually unproductive area that envelops it (there is a deeper, more exact meaning to the name "Gilead", but that meaning is beyond the scope of this posting).

The fact that Bolsonaro was given the very unusual middle name of "Messias", meaning "Messiah", also has great spiritual significance. His manifestation as the 38th President of Brazil means that the Messianic, latter-rain promise for Brazil is alive despite its apparent earlier death. As we have shared before, the number "38" points, in a negative sense, to a state of stagnation. Therefore, the fact that Bolsonaro is Brazil's 38th President means that Brazil's spiritual potential, though not dead, is currently coming out of a state of stagnation, a stagnation brought on by Brazil's stubbornness but which would have become permanent had Brazil not lifted its eyes to heaven and said, "Lord, we recognise the justice of Your Judgements and submit to Your verdicts, but we shall still praise You, for You are the Lord our God". Brazil is part of the promises for Elishah, son of Javan, in the latter days, and Portugal herself will be blessed because of Brazil, just as Brazil will be blessed when Portugal awakens to its Elishah calling.

{It is worth noting that Brazil hosted the previous World Cup, in 2014, and, despite being the host, they lost in the semi-finals to Germany by a devastating score of 7-1. The fact that they lost by such an unexpectedly wide margin (the largest in semi-final history) reveals that Brazil was being judged and punished by the main spiritual agent for its eventual restoration. Instead of fighting the judgement (the way that Argentina so bitterly did in the final against Germany), Brazil took the (records-changing) beating without much resistance, as shown by the fact that the remaining Brazilian fans at the stadium chose to give Germany a standing ovation after the Germans scored their 7th goal (as indicated on wikipedia.org). The fact that Brazil were able to score 1 goal (the 8th and last goal), thereby preventing a shutout, was a sign that there was hope for them not being annihilated by God's judgements and that they could be regenerated, as certified by the fact that their goal made the game an 8-goal game; and, as we have shared before, the number 8 speaks of Noah-style regeneration. It is also interesting to consider that the last time Brazil (or any team from Latin America) won a World Cup was in 2002, when Brazil beat (of all teams) Germany by a score of 2-0, meaning that Brazil's chances of having any type of spiritual victory in the latter days would hinge on Germany. It is even more interesting to consider that, prior to 2002, Brazil and Germany had never played against each other in a World Cup, this despite the fact that they are the 2 teams who have played the most World Cup games in history, having won 7 World Cups between them prior to 2002. This reveals that God intends Brazil and Germany to be spiritual allies, only allowing them to finally face each other twice when the time came for Germany's role in Brazil's restoration to be made evident. Glory be to God.}

{God willing, we shall share more on the sons of Javan (and Japheth) in a future posting.}
