Prophetic word for today

U.S. election 2004: 7/13 - oHIo

First posted: November 5, 2004

Word received: Between November 2 and 4, 2004

Received by: Shamah-Elim Bible Studies

In a previous prophetic word, we shared that the Lord spoke the following to us concerning the 2004 U.S. elections:

Bush: 7 out of 13

We then interpreted that George W. Bush would win the 2004 U.S. presidential election over John Kerry by a 7-6 ratio. We then indicated that, if applied to the popular vote, this would mean that George W. Bush would get 53.8% of the vote.

We will now look inside the numbers and see how the 53.8 percentage was fulfilled. We will then see how these numbers reveal a prophetic message concerning the current condition and the future of the United States.

Inside the numbers:

These are the results obtained by Bush vs. Kerry in the elections (these are the latest totals, obtained from Yahoo news on the night of November 4, 2004; we are ignoring votes cast for other candidates, which are negligible):

At the time of this writing, Iowa has not yet been officially given to Bush, but we have given that state to Bush, since he has a 13,000 vote advantage with 100% of the precincts already reported.

Based on the numbers above, Bush got 51.53% of the popular vote while Kerry got 48.47% of the vote (remember that we are ignoring the votes cast in favor of other candidates because they amounted to only 0.91% of the total vote, and because our previous prophetic word spoke of a 7-6 ratio between Bush and Kerry).

Notice that the number 51.53% above does not match the percentage of 53.8% mentioned in our previous prophetic word. As I asked the Lord concerning this, He spoke the following to my heart:

"The percentage of 53.8% is there. You will have to find it, and, when you do, you will understand a spiritual message hidden in these election results."

It is worth noting that, as I watched the election count unfold on TV, I noticed that, after 21% of the precincts had reported in, president Bush had 53% of the vote while Kerry had 46% (meaning that Bush had 53.5% of the vote, if you exclude the votes for other candidates), which closely matches the 53.8% we had spoken of in our prophetic word. However, as the rest of the precincts reported in, the percentage began to diminish, and it ended at the 51.53 percentage mentioned above.

As I began to search for the 53.8 percentage inside the popular vote count, the Lord dropped this thought into my heart:

"Remove all the states (and district) that make contact with the Pacific or Atlantic Oceans, and exclude Ohio"

When I did this, the following totals appeared:

Here is a map showing the states included above in green, while the excluded states appear in yellow:

Notice that the percentage of popular votes obtained by president Bush in these 23 states was 53.85%, which is almost exactly equal to the 53.84% that would correspond to a 7/13 ratio. Why did this happen? Is this a mere coincidence? As I pondered this, the Lord made it clear in my spirit that it wasn't. This is what happened...

As you all may know, the state that became the key to president Bush's reelection was Ohio. There is a famous riddle that asks, "What is round on the ends and high in the middle?", to which one must answer "Ohio", since "oHIo" has two "round" o's at the end and the letters "HI" in the middle. The letter "o" here speaks of "roundness" or "obesity", which in Scripture refers to covetousness and an excessive focus on earthly things:

"19Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way. 20Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh: 21For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags." (Proverbs 23:19-21)

"17Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. 18(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19Whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)" (Philippians 3:17-19)

As we have shared in a previous article, the spirit that leads to covetousness and to an excessive focus on earthly things is the Girgashite spirit. Therefore, the two "o"s at the ends of "Ohio" refer to the Girgashite influence on America from the overseas nations on the other side of both Oceans.

During the night of the election, I had the opportunity to watch the coverage of the U.S. elections by France's TV5 and Spain's TVE networks, and I got a taste of how bitterly anti-Bush the Europeans across the Atlantic Ocean are. When it became evident in the wee hours of the morning that Bush would win the elections, a commentator on France's TV5 (who appeared throughout the coverage but whose name I do not know) said that America's decision to reelect Bush meant that a "divorce" would be taking place between America and Europe. When one of TV5's reporters indicated that Fox News Channel had declared victory for Bush in Ohio, the French anchorman laughed out loud and said, "Fox News?", and declared, in a self-righteous tone, that "Fox News was clearly pro-Bush". Even so, I must admit that France's TV5 network accepted Bush's victory before the U.S. network CBS did (anchorman Dan Rather must still be waiting for the Ohio provisional ballots to be counted!).

Because of their Girgashite, mind-oriented, perspective, Europeans are unable to see the spiritual transcendence of the war in Iraq. If you try to discern the merits of the war with a natural mind, you will be duped into thinking that it is not worth the effort. Girgashites are now-oriented people, and they have a hard time seeing the value of something when the benefits are long-term. Those in America who have been influenced by Girgashite thinking abroad are unable to see that the war that overthrew Saddam Hussein was a righteous war that will bless millions of Iraqis for years to come. They are also unable to understand that the turmoil in Iraq is not being caused by a "patriotic Iraqi resistance" but rather by foreign terrorists entering Iraq from Syria and Jordan who don't think twice about blowing up Iraqi children, as long as they can make the U.S. look bad.

In the Philippines, across the Pacific Ocean, angry people went out on the streets in protest of Bush's reelection, showing how anti-Bush sentiment runs across both oceans. On the day prior to the election, Kerry was campaigning in one of the swing states, and he declared that America was waiting and longing for a "fresh start", which prompted a supporter to shout, "and the world is too". When Kerry heard this, he pointed at the supporter and said, "you are right, the world is waiting too". This shows how Kerry represented a spiritual tendency where the United States would be concerned about world opinion and move according to it. Those in the United States who want an America that stays under the spiritual covering of the U.N. and on the Europeans' "good side" voted for Kerry. Those who wanted an America that does what is right, no matter who supports it, voted for Bush. This is why God told me to remove the states that bordered on either the Pacific or Atlantic Ocean. Once you remove the two flat and fat o's, you get the "HI" part of America, the part that has potential for spiritual height and growth, the part that will grow up towards God, instead of out to the sides (towards the opinion of others). When you remove the "fat" Americans, you get the 53.8% that the Lord had spoken to us previously.

You may notice that God also told us to exclude the state of Ohio from the list of states to consider, despite the fact that Ohio does not border with either Ocean. As I pondered this, it became clear why this was the case. Despite being a traditionally Republican state, Ohio was closely contested because Kerry took advantage of the economic hardships that this industrial state is going through, claiming that Bush's economic policy was "outsourcing" jobs overseas. Of all the states in the U.S., I would dare to say that the state where the "outsourcing" argument made the most political impact was in Ohio. Therefore, Ohio was, in a sense, the state most concerned with "overseas" economic events, which means that, in God's eyes, it behaved as if it had a border with the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean. If Ohioans had not been so influenced by the "outsourcing" argument, the results there would have been much more favorable to Bush, and I would not have been surprised to see Bush getting 53.8% of the vote there.

The Lord also told me to find the 53.8 percentage in the electoral votes. As you may know, Bush got 286 electoral votes and Kerry got 252 (as we said before, we are giving Iowa to Bush). This gives Bush 53.2% of the vote, which is close to 53.8. However, the Lord told us to find an exact match for 53.8%, and He told us the following:

"Only consider states in the North American Continent"

This meant that we were to exclude Hawaii (which is not part of the North American Continent) and the District of Columbia (which is not a state); Alaska would still be included because it is part of the North American Continent, even if it does not have a border with any of the other 48 continental states. Since Hawaii has 4 electoral votes and the District of Columbia has 3, and since both Hawaii and the District of Columbia voted for Kerry, the 286-252 electoral vote total becomes 286-245; in other words, Bush obtained 286 out of the 531 possible votes, which means 53.86%, a percentage almost identical to the 53.84% that would correspond to a 7/13 ratio. Is this a coincidence? Not at all, and this is the spiritual reason behind it...

From e-mails that we have received from Hawaii, we have learned that Hawaii is a region strongly dominated by Canaanite spirits. Hawaiian natives teach that it is wrong to "judge others", and anyone who speaks words of judgment and justice is immediately attacked and ostracized. As we have shared in our articles, people influenced by Canaanite spirits hate judgments, preferring a life philosophy that panders to the wishes and desires of others. Since Hawaii is dominated by Canaanite spirits, it is not surprising that hula "dancing" is so relevant in their culture; as we have shared before, Canaanites are spiritual "dancers" who do whatever it takes to please others, even at the price of their own personal convictions.

Just as Hawaii is strongly Canaanite, so is the District of Columbia. As some of you who closely follow U.S. politics may remember, Republican Ronald Reagan crushed Democrat Walter Mondale in the 1984 elections, winning 49 out of the 50 states. Walter Mondale was only able to win his home state of Minnesota (by a narrow 3,000-vote margin) and the District of Columbia (by a comfortable margin). This shows how strongly "Democratic" the District is. It also shows how D.C. is so strongly polarized along racial lines that its minority voters are unable to exhibit independent thinking that is not ruled by what the rest of the masses thinks. Since Canaanites hate judgments, they cause the elimination of individual judgment and opinion, which leads to groups of people that are moved by what everyone else thinks. Therefore, we can say that, just as Hawaii is the most Canaanite region west of the Mississippi, the District of Columbia is the most Canaanite region east of the Mississippi.

When you exclude the Canaanite influence of Hawaii and D.C., the electoral vote ends up reflecting the 53.8 percentage that the Lord declared in early September 2004. When you exclude the Girgashite influence of the regions that border with either ocean, the popular vote ends up reflecting the 53.8 percentage.

What can we conclude from all of this? In essence, God is telling us that the United States has both falsely-perceived fat and real spiritual "fat". Girgashites see America from the outside and wrongly judge her as a decadent and arrogant nation, without realizing that God is preparing America so that she may bless those who criticize her from the outside. Canaanites, on the other hand, have contaminated and defiled American culture, and God will continue bringing judgments on America to purify her in order to cut out the spiritual fat so that America may help others to grow.

America has some spiritual fat on the outside that it must cut out, but there remains a core remnant that is receptive to His judgments, and God will use this remnant to manifest His Glory in these latter days. God has decreed that a mighty flow of the Spirit will proceed out of the United States that will impact and benefit the entire planet.

Therefore, if they ask you what is round on the ends and high in the middle, you should probably say, "the United States of America".
