Why Georgia?

As we have been meditating on the word sent to us by sister Tracie, one question has lingered: Why Georgia? Why did God specifically choose the state of Georgia as the place where the flesh-eating bacteria would make its presence felt? In a sense, the connection to Georgia had been made through the link between "bamboo" and "peaches" that sister Tracie established through her word. Still, that did not address the question of how peaches are related to the "bacteria incident" or what in Georgia's spiritual profile made it susceptible to such an incident. As we meditated on this, the Lord began to speak certain things into our hearts regarding Georgia.

Sherman the Green

As you may know, the American state of Georgia was the scene of very significant military action during the Civil War. Georgia is particularly famous for the Union army's "March to the Sea", which was devised and executed by General William Tecumseh Sherman between 15 November and 21 December 1864. To understand Sherman's March better, we must first meditate on the spiritual characteristics revealed by Sherman's life.

According to wikipedia.org, William Sherman was born in Lancaster, Ohio, on 8 February 1820. As we have shared various times before, the date "February 8" is a date with a strong spiritual significance. In essence, we can say that it speaks of a time to shed old things and admit that God's revival is impossible without saying "Welcome home!" to His green-horse remnant. Therefore, we can conclude that Sherman's date of birth points to an uncompromising green-horse "terminator" anointing that comes to exterminate matriarchal structures that have been accepted for way too long. The fact that he was born in a town named "Lancaster" emphasises this even more. According to surnamedb.com, the Anglo-Saxon surname "Lancaster" is derived from the English city of Lancashire, which stands on the River Lune. The word "Lancaster" is a combination of the river's name, "Lune", and the Old-English word "ceaster" meaning "fort". According to wikipedia.org, the name "Lune" was apparently derived from a Celtic word meaning "clean, pure". Therefore, the word "Lancaster" could be translated as "fort of cleansing", which speaks of someone with uncompromising determination to wipe out long-standing uncleanness. Hence, Sherman's connection to the "Green Reaper" is evident from birth.

William Sherman's father died unexpectedly in 1829, when Sherman was 9 years old. As we have shared before, the number "18" speaks of carnage resulting from a rejection of God's visitation, and the number "29" speaks of the (green-horse) earthquakes induced by the roar of God's voice. The number "9", in turn, points subtly to Revelation 9; as we have studied before, the locusts from Sheol described by the Lord in Revelation 9 are a figure of God's green-horse riders who have gone into 5th-seal hibernation and who emerge from Sheol to unleash God's vengeance upon the matriarchal souls who disdain God's remnant and resist His purposes on Earth. As we have also shared before, green-horse riders are called to go through Death and Sheol to trigger God's full purposes on Earth. Therefore, the fact that William Sherman's father died in 1829 when he was 9 years old clearly points to the green-horse calling upon his family and his life.

As a side note, it is worth mentioning that Sherman's father left a powerful and lasting imprint despite dying at the young age of 40. As indicated on wikipedia.org, he became a judge in the Ohio Supreme Court, and he actually died whilst holding court in Lebanon, Ohio. The 11 young children he left behind included Charles Taylor Sherman, who went on to become a US District Court judge, John Sherman, who became a successful politician in the Republican Party, Hoyt Sherman, who became a notable military officer, politician, and businessman, and, obviously, William Tecumseh Sherman, who became one of the most important generals in military history. That is a rather remarkable list of children from the same father, especially if you consider that their lives were anything but easy after their father died so young. Hence, we can say that William Sherman's father had a strong Elisha anointing in the sense that he passed away without seeing the fulfilment of the Promise. William Sherman and his siblings were therefore destined to accomplish great things, fulfilling many of the feats that were latent within their father's green-horse anointing.

As indicated on wikipedia.org and a book by Ronald D. Smith, Sherman experienced a bout of intense depression and dissatisfaction during 1861, the first year of the Civil War. Having been sent to Louisville, Kentucky to overlook operations in that border state, Sherman became dismayed about the strength of the rebel forces that held parts of Kentucky and pessimistic about the logistical limitations of his forces. The despair in his soul grew to the point of even contemplating suicide. When the news of Sherman's state got out, the "Cincinnati Commercial" newspaper published an unflattering headline on December 11, 1861 that read, "General William T. Sherman Insane!". Sherman's "Kentucky depression" may seem as an example of capricious immaturity, but it was actually an expression of green-horse maturity. As we have shared before, green-horse riders appear "crazy" to most other believers, even believers who are relatively mature, but this is due to the "fractal" nature of the green-horse walk. God's green watchmen can see subtle, deeply hidden things that other believers cannot (or refuse to) see, and they speak an "eternal language" that other believers just cannot understand, calling out roots of iniquity that have laid "undetected" for ages and operating with strategies that run entirely against the "logical" mindset. When Sherman was "depressing" over the state of things, he was actually sensing how the North was mishandling the war, even from early on. As many Civil War historians have pointed out, the Northern army suffered from very mediocre leadership throughout the first years of the war, and it was only until Lincoln turned to the "Western Theatre" for leadership that the War took a true turn for the better. It was at that point when Ulysses Grant and William Sherman were finally able to play a predominant role and crush the arrogant South into submission. As a parenthesis, it must be pointed out that Sherman's depression was exacerbated by subtle, dark forces that operate over Kentucky, a state whose citizens have made a deliberate effort to repress their prophetic endowment. We were about to share more on this in July 2011 in a video series titled "Mourning the dead (dream)", but, for some reason, we were unable to continue recording that series at the time. If the Lord allows it, we will continue that series in future and share more on the spiritual issues underneath the surface in Kentucky.

Sherman's inherent connection to the green horse makes the principles behind his famous military campaigns easier to understand. As indicated on wikipedia.org, the North's victory in the Battles of the Chattanooga set the groundwork for a full-blown assault on the South. Six northern generals, including Grant, advanced in Virginia against Robert E. Lee's forces; Nathaniel Banks went down against Mobile, Alabama to capture it; and Sherman went by himself against Joseph Johnston's army to capture Atlanta and march through Georgia and the Carolinas. In other words, Sherman was sent to descend into the "belly of the Southern beast" by himself, with no other generals to support him. He was sent into the heart of the South far, far away from supply lines and reinforcements. This correlates with the lonely nature of green-horse fighting. As we have shared before, there is a "Naphtali", "my fight" nature to the green-horse stage. As a green-horse rider, you are called to embark on a dark and lonely struggle during which it will seem as if everyone else has abandoned you, as when the Lord Jesus was abandoned and betrayed by His disciples starting at His battle of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:36-56). As a green-horse rider, you are forced to go through Death and descend to Sheol on your own. There are no "group excursions" into Sheol for green-horse riders. This is why Sherman had to go on his own.

The discriminating Green Army

William Sherman's connection to the green horse is also evident in the "fractal" tactics that he employed in the battlefield. As indicated on wikipedia.org, American historian David J. Eicher wrote that Sherman "defied military principles by operating deep within enemy territory and without lines of supply or communication". During his march across the South, Sherman applied a "scorched earth" strategy in which his army would "live off the land" whilst at the same time making sure that there would be nothing left for the enemy. His intention was not only to defeat the enemy militarily but to wreak psychological devastation on the South as he engaged on a path of merciless destruction. He intended to drain the South of all will to wage war, injecting despair into the hearts of Southern soldiers and civilians until the South would finally die to its stupid arrogance.

Savage and unhinged as Sherman's intentions may have seemed, a close study of his campaign reveals that he was actually a very fair imparter of justice. As indicated on wikipedia.org, the destruction on civilians done by Sherman's army focused almost exclusively on property, meaning that their campaign was not a frenzy of "drunken soldiers" raping and pillaging through the Southern countryside. Instead, it was a very deliberate and controlled unleashing of very intense wrath on Southern pride (self-contradictory as that may sound). Consider, for example, some of the following guidelines laid down by Sherman shortly before his "March to the Sea":

{Copied from wikipedia.org}

bullet

"Soldiers must not enter the dwellings of the inhabitants, or commit any trespass, but during a halt or a camp they may be permitted to gather turnips, apples, and other vegetables, and to drive in stock of their camp."

bullet

"As for horses, mules, wagons, &c., belonging to the inhabitants, the cavalry and artillery may appropriate freely and without limit, discriminating, however, between the rich, who are usually hostile, and the poor or industrious, usually neutral or friendly. Foraging parties may also take mules or horses to replace the jaded animals of their trains, or to serve as pack-mules for the regiments or brigades. In all foraging, of whatever kind, the parties engaged will refrain from abusive or threatening language, and may, where the officer in command thinks proper, give written certificates of the facts, but no receipts, and they will endeavor to leave with each family a reasonable portion for their maintenance."

The discriminating and deliberate nature of the destruction by Sherman's army can also be discerned in their behaviour after Georgia. When they marched out of the Peach State and into the Carolinas, the wrath of Sherman's army intensified even more before diminishing somewhat. Unbeknownst to many, the destructiveness carried out by Sherman's army was much greater on South Carolina than it was on Georgia. This is because Sherman and his fellow soldiers held special resentment against South Carolina for having "kick-started" the Civil War (since South Carolina was the first state to secede from the Union). It is evident that Sherman and his fellow soldiers perceived the strong spirit of Amorite (gamecock) pride in South Carolina (a pride that continues to this day), and they were determined to break that pride. As non-soulish believers know very well, pride cannot be broken with doses of "sweet love and compassion" (you may at times be able to do that with a Girgashite, but not with an Amorite). As the Lord God has declared, the strong man must be overcome through the application of greater strength, followed by the dividing of his spoils. A sacrificial death may indeed open the path for this devastation of the strong man, but even this sacrificial death is not to be done in an attitude of naive, lovey-dovey submission.

"No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house." (Mark 3:27)

"21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: 22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. 23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth." (Luke 11:21-23)

After Sherman's army completed the difficult crossing of the Lumber River from South Carolina into North Carolina, they proceeded to inflict little damage to civilian infrastructure. They were less harsh on North Carolina because it had been the last state to secede, making it a "reluctant Confederate state". This once again shows that Sherman's army were not an out-of-control band of thugs. Instead, they were exercising wise judgement, making an effort to adjust the level of punishment to the level of crime in the hearts of those being punished.

Hell they take in, Hell they give back

As we shared above, Sherman's intention during his march across the South went beyond superficial and impersonal tactical goals. Instead, his intention was to inflict hopelessness and despair in the souls of Southerners. In other words, he was interested in injecting "Sheol despair" into the hearts of Southerners so as to wilt their desire to live any longer as an independent entity. This is typical of green-horse riders. After having willingly gone through Death and Sheol themselves, they become spiritually empowered with the authority to inject Death and Sheol into the souls of those who refuse to yield to the Lord's will. This is what makes them so spiritually lethal to the soul matriarchy. In the latter days, when an army of such believers is raised, the glory of God will be manifested, bringing much spiritual devastation to the matriarchal soul.

"1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; 2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. 3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. 4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. 5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. 6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. 7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: 8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. 9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. 10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: 11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?" (Joel 2:1-11)

Notice how the army described by the Lord above is not an army that brings "blessings" and "good cheer to all". Instead, it is an army that comes with "darkness" and "gloominess" (v2). It shall be an army like no other in history, an army unequalled in the past and who shall be unequalled in the future (v2), an army before whom "people shall be much pained" and before whom "all faces shall gather blackness" (v6). It is an army before whom the natural realm shall shake and before whom the principalities and powers in the spirit realm shall tremble (v10). Before their face, a fire shall devour, and, they shall leave behind them a desolate wilderness (v3). Hence, we can safely say that, when Sherman's army was scorching through the deep South, America was experiencing a brief prelude of the green-horse army that shall march across America in the latter days.

"My aim then was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. 'Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.'"

William T. Sherman , Memoirs of General W.T. Sherman, Chapter 22 (copied from wikipedia.org)

Initially, Grant wanted Sherman to quickly dart north to Virginia and help him against Confederate General Lee. However, Sherman persuaded Grant to let him ravage the Carolinas, even if it meant a much slower march north. Besides his green zeal to punish South Carolina's arrogance, Sherman believed that ravaging South Carolina and inflicting the necessary damage on North Carolina would deal an even more devastating blow on Southern morale. Unlike most other generals, Sherman did not see the Civil War as an "impersonal" conflict between military forces. Instead, he realised that this war required dragging the South through the torments and despair of Death and Sheol. He captured the state capital of Columbia, South Carolina on 17 February, 1865, i.e.- on the 17th day of the 2nd month that year (which correlates with the date when God began putting the earthly men of Noah's days through overwhelming Death and Sheol despair - Genesis 7:11). On the night between the 17th and the 18th, most of Columbia's central area was burnt down to the ground. Much controversy remains on who started the fire and how. Sherman later said, "I did not order the burning of the city, but I am not sorry that it happened". Regardless of how the fire happened, it was, unquestionably, part of God's judgement against South Carolina, a literal manifestation of the Sheol Fire that God was putting the South through via His green army.

The perfect green army

The spiritual element within God's green army that triggers death before their faces can be found in the following passage:

"26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it. 27 And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. 28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake." (Ezekiel 1:26-28)

Notice how the glory of God caused Ezekiel to fall on his face. This speaks of the dreadful nature of God's Glory. Instead of perceiving it as a "pretty light", Ezekiel recognised God's Glory as a death-causing agent that nullifies anything of a temporal nature. This is why Ezekiel's "man face" fell to the Earth, which speaks of the "return to dust" of man's temporal nature. As we willingly expose ourselves to God's Glory and to the death that comes with it, the temporal nature in us disintegrates, allowing for the manifestation of God's Eternal nature from within us; and, as that happens, our faces also begin to shine with the Glory of God's Face, and we begin to impart death to all that is temporal around us.

"13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified." (1 Peter 4:13-14)

"But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." (1 Peter 5:10)

It is worth emphasising that the phrase "make ... perfect" in the verse above was translated from the Greek verb katartizo, which is derived from the prefix kata meaning "according to" and the word artios meaning "fitted, completed". Interestingly enough, the Lord uses the word katartizo in the following verse, translated as "that is perfect":

"The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master." (Luke 6:40)

Notice, therefore, that God's goal as He "katartizo"es us is to make us like Him. This means that we are to exhibit the very nature of God Himself. As we exhibit it, the glory of God will "ooze out" from inside of us, causing death to what is temporal around us, establishing God's irresistible dominion in our environs. This is why the Holy Spirit follows 1 Peter 5:10 (quoted above) with the following verse:

"To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen." (1 Peter 5:11)

This "katartizo" process that the Lord wants to work in us requires faith in invisible processes that produce visible results. That is the reason why the word katartizo appears in the following verse, translated as "framed":

"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear" (Hebrews 11:3)

Those within the Church who remain under the Old Covenant are utterly incapable of exercising faith in invisible processes that produce visible results of eternal significance, and they attack anyone who does. As a result, the Church's Old-Covenant leadership keep crippling believers left and right, preventing them being katartizo-ed into manifesting the Nature of God and His Glory on Earth. This is why the Lord uses the word katartizo in verse 16 of the following passage, translated as " perfected":

"14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them. 15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased, 16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? " (Matthew 21:14-16)

It shall be the "babes and sucklings" (i.e.- "irrelevant, non-certified believers" in the eyes of the Old-Covenant Church) who will be katartizo-ed in the Lord, and they shall be the ones who radiate the Glory of God and establish God's Dominion upon the Earth.

"And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God." (Luke 18:43)

[The word "praise" was translated from the Greek word ainos, the same word translated as "praise" in Matthew 21:16 above. Interestingly enough, these are the only 2 verses where ainos appears in Scripture.]

Notice also how God's Glory is mentioned "indirectly" in this verse (in the phrase "glorifying God"). Hence, it is evident that true, "quality" praise for God shall be forged by New-Covenant remnant believers who are "small" and "irrelevant" in the Church's eyes but whose faith allows them to be perfected, manifesting God's death-causing Glory on Earth.

"... We rode out of Atlanta by the Decatur road, filled by the marching troops and wagons of the Fourteenth Corps; and reaching the hill, just outside of the old rebel works, we naturally paused to look back upon the scenes of our past battles. We stood upon the very ground whereon was fought the bloody battle of July 22d, and could see the copse of wood where McPherson fell. Behind us lay Atlanta, smouldering and in ruins, the black smoke rising high in air, and hanging like a pall over the ruined city. Away off in the distance, on the McDonough road, was the rear of Howard's column, the gun-barrels glistening in the sun, the white-topped wagons stretching away to the south; and right before us the Fourteenth Corps, marching steadily and rapidly, with a cheery look and swinging pace, that made light of the thousand miles that lay between us and Richmond. Some band, by accident, struck up the anthem of "John Brown's soul goes marching on;" the men caught up the strain, and never before or since have I heard the chorus of "Glory, glory, hallelujah!" done with more spirit, or in better harmony of time and place."

William T. Sherman , Memoirs of General W.T. Sherman, Chapter 21 (copied from wikipedia.org)

Harsh green, soft green

According to wikipedia.org, a recent historian (John D. Winters, in his 1963 book "The Civil War in Louisiana") has described Sherman in the following way,

"As a man, Sherman was an eccentric mixture of strength and weakness"

The rest of this historian's description of Sherman betrays his Southern upbringing, along with the ignorant resentment against Sherman that is typical of many who have hailed from the South. Even so, the sentence above very clearly portrays the difficulty that many people, even black-horse believers, have in understanding the fractal nature of green-horse riders. On the one hand, green-horse riders portray a "harsh", uncompromising strength that is bent on obliterating the soul matriarchy and exacting God's revenge against those who have upheld it for so long. On the other hand, they exhibit a vulnerability that deliberately prompts Korah to kill them. This "dichotomous" nature became evident as the Lord Yeshua entered into the green-horse phase of His walk on Earth, which happened when He returned to Jerusalem to be sacrificed on Calvary:

"15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; 16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. 17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves. 18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine." (Mark 11:15-18)

Notice how the Lord shows utter, uncompromising intolerance towards those who were subtly defiling the Temple, and notice how the scribes and chief priests felt the almost immediate compulsion to destroy Him. Even though they feared the authority that He was exercising, they were convinced that there was definitely a weakness in Him, some "chink in His armour" that they could exploit to obliterate Him. Despite all His "spiritual prowess", they never saw Him as "invincible". Why? Because every time they saw Him, all they saw was a single man. Yes, they did see the disciples who followed Him, and they saw the multitudes that would swarm around Him wherever He went. But, after all was said and done, they would see a man with no "pedigree", with no "human title" to hang his hat on, with no "long-standing", "respectable" institution to back him up. Fawning as the crowds were, these Korah leaders knew that all they needed to do was to strike at the right time, and all those crowds would scatter like smoke in the wind. To them, the man from Galilee had an authority that could not "stand" the test of time. This "weird" rebel would come and go, and they would still be sitting on their "exalted thrones" ruling over the people of God. This is why they kept raising questions about His authority, especially after He threw the moneychangers and dove sellers from the Temple:

"23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority? 24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things. 25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him? 26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. 27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things." (Matthew 21:23-27)

"Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad." (Matthew 26:31)

Just as green-horse riders appear to be a strange mixture of "strength" and "weakness", they also appear to be an "incoherent" mixture of "darkness" and "light", of "despair" and "hope". On the one hand, they speak a language of doom, of vengeful obliteration, portraying the current state of things as worse than most would care to admit. This is why the Lord spoke the following shortly after driving the moneychangers and dove sellers out of the Temple:

"33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: 34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. 35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. 36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. 37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. 38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. 39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. 40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? 41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. 42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? 43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. 45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them. 46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet." (Matthew 21:33-46)

Notice how the Lord was uninterested in a compromise where "all sides" would benefit. He spoke of obliteration, of an annihilation of the entire matriarchal system so that God's Kingship would shine forth unhindered. He constantly portrayed the utter wickedness of the existing religious system, equating it with a greedy and murderous regime bent on stealing from God Himself, even if they pretended to act on His behalf. When the Lord would utter these words, the atmosphere would become filled with darkness, not only because of their exposed wickedness but because of the future vengeance being prophesied.

"1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; 2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations." (Joel 2:1-2)

"42 And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 43 Till I make thine enemies thy footstool. 44 David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?" (Luke 20:42-44)

[Notice that the Lord does not speak of His enemies finally being won over by His "kindness" and becoming "buddy, buddy" with Him. Instead, He speaks of humiliating His enemies and turning them into His "footstool".]

However, just as the green-horse rider can sound fatalistically "dark" and "gloomy", he or she can also express the greenest of visions, full of prophetic hope:

"30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. 32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors." (Matthew 24:30-33)

"And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 16:19)

During His time on Earth, the Lord could not express much of the majestic vision He beheld in His communion time with the Father; this is due to the disciples' hardness of hearing. Even so, He lay the seeds in their hearts through His words, and He knew that it was a matter of time before they would enter into an understanding of that majestic vision. Aware of the "green" vision, He told them to prepare for it shortly before ascending, even if they were still unaware of it:

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

"14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke" (Acts 2:14-19)

Notice how the disciples became deeply aware of a grand, overriding vision, and notice how they saw themselves as part of the fulfilment of that vision, not as mere spectators waiting for Yeshua to "make it all happen". They did begin with a "spectator" attitude as they mindlessly gazed into the sky after the Lord's ascension; thankfully for them, however, they were quickly corrected by the 2 witnesses dressed in white who told them to stop gazing at the sky and to understand His return in a different way (Acts 1:9-11). Thus, they were clearly motivated by a vision much grander than the myopic religious activism that litters the matriarchal Church today. Based on the way they spoke and acted, it is also evident that the disciples' internal drive was not mere emotionalism birthed out of artificial cheerleading, as is the case with the current Church. Instead, it flowed out from deep within, emanating from a non-artificial, intense prophetic anointing. This was all a result of their contact with green-horse Yeshua, the one who radiated both invincible strength and fragile vulnerability, the one who spoke harsh words of destruction and gloom as well as beautiful prophetic words of kindling hope.

"You cannot qualify war in harsher terms than I will. War is cruelty, and you cannot refine it; and those who brought war into our country deserve all the curses and maledictions a people can pour out. I know I had no hand in making this war, and I know I will make more sacrifices to-day than any of you to secure peace. But you cannot have peace and a division of our country. If the United States submits to a division now, it will not stop, but will go on until we reap the fate of Mexico, which is eternal war [...] I want peace, and believe it can only be reached through union and war, and I will ever conduct war with a view to perfect and early success. But, my dear sirs, when peace does come, you may call on me for anything. Then will I share with you the last cracker, and watch with you to shield your homes and families against danger from every quarter."

Letter from General W.T. Sherman to the mayor and City Council of Atlanta, September 12, 1864 (copied from wikipedia.org)

Green curse

Between 1866 and 1868, the United States engaged in military conflict against 3 Amerindian tribes for control of territory in what is now Wyoming and Montana. Because the American commanders involved handled the conflict with a Girgashite mindset (much as America did in Vietnam), they ended up losing the conflict and yielding the territory to the Amerindians for 8 years. During that conflict, a battle known as the "Fetterman Massacre" took place on 21 December 1866. In the battle, more than 1,000 Amerindians tricked and ambushed Captain William Fetterman and the men with him, savagely killing all 82 men. As indicated on wikipedia.org, the Amerindians not only killed all the white soldiers, they also scalped, stripped, and mutilated their bodies. They tore out eyes and laid them on rocks, they cut off noses and ears, they chopped out teeth, they took out brains and put them on rocks, they cut off hands and feet, and they severed private parts. Two civilian volunteers were especially targeted, having their faces smashed into a bloody pulp, and with one of them being pierced by more than 100 arrows.

After learning of the savagery carried out by the Amerindians, Sherman wrote the following to Grant on 28 December 1866, 7 days after the massacre:

"We must act with vindictive earnestness against the Sioux, even to their extermination, men, women and children"

Notice Sherman's use of the word "vindictive", a word very close to the hearts of green-horse riders, since they constantly long for the vindicating vengeance of the Spirit over the matriarchal soul (Isaiah 61:2, Jude 1:14-15). Notice also Sherman's use of the word "extermination". As we have shared before, to "curse" something is to consecrate it unto destruction. Therefore, we can safely say that Sherman was cursing the Sioux. As shown by the deliberate and discriminating nature of his wrath against the South, we can say that Sherman's curse was not born out of a haphazard impulse or soulish anger. Instead, it was born out of righteous wrath over the outright savagery exhibited by a culture that remained trapped in a cavernous past, a culture that rejoiced in brutally defiling others, a culture that showed no respect for others' humanity. Even after decades and decades of exposure to the European and his ways, the Amerindian culture refused to yield. Retreating to their caves deep within American territory, the Amerindians kept saying to themselves, "We have nothing to learn from paleface!! We will continue with our traditions and superstitions until the end, for we are who we are, and that is that!!"

Green radical change

As indicated on wikipedia.org, historians are aware that Sherman's 1864 march through the heart of the South was what allowed Lincoln to win the hotly contested election of 1864 against lukewarm and treacherous George B. McClellan. The Democrats were running on a platform of peace negotiations with the South that would have included an automatic recognition of the Confederacy as an independent state. This platform was becoming increasingly appealing to a war-weary country that has always tended towards stagnant compromise. However, after Atlanta was captured (and then burnt) by Sherman's green army on 2 September 1864, the tide turned in Lincoln's favour, and America eventually re-elected him.

The fact that Sherman's "green" actions were essential in reuniting America and abolishing slavery illustrates the radical nature of the green horse's gallop. Because of his uncompromising willingness to die and go through hell (i.e.- Sheol) rather than accept the flawed status quo, the green-horse rider is always the agent necessary to obliterate fundamental flaws that have remained unaddressed for ages. Through His green-horse riders, God can effect radical change on Earth and destroy the deep-rooted structures that the matriarchal soul has instituted and "established" as the "clear and undeniable truth". Behind every radical change in human history, you will always find at least one man or woman carrying out a green-horse role that pushed events over the edge, overcoming the barrier of compromise that the semi-spiritual always erect.

It must be emphasised that the price that green-horse riders have to pay to forge radical change is overwhelmingly intense, and it often occurs way beneath the radar of most. It is ironic, therefore, that such radical, objectively visible change must be forged through such invisible, subjective, and intense suffering. This is the reason why the work that led to the splitting of human history in two was carried out by a man who endured a silent torment in loneliness in the Garden of Gethsemane and who then went through a psychological and physical torture that ended with Him descending to Sheol. Even though a small portion of His suffering was visible to the naked eye, most of it remained outside of man's natural view. Compounded with how undeserved all that suffering was, Yeshua's Golgotha experience forged a change that fundamentally transformed the fate of all of humanity.

All of the above explains why Sherman's son Charles Celestine died during the Savannah Campaign. With his family far away, Sherman learnt of his son's passing from a newspaper whilst in Savannah. What made things worse for Sherman was that he never got a chance to see Charles Celestine whilst he was alive. Hence, the sacrificial death of Sherman's son during the crucial Savannah Campaign clearly speaks of the intense, subjective, silent suffering that is required to forge radical transformation.

Interestingly enough, the name "Charles" is believed to be derived from a Germanic word meaning "man", but it is also believed that it may be derived from a Germanic element meaning "army, warrior" (according to behindthename.com). On the other hand, the name "Celestine" is derived from a Latin name meaning "of the sky, heavenly" (according to behindthename.com). Therefore, we can say that the names "Charles Celestine" speak of a warrior who wages deadly warfare in the heavenlies, a warrior whose death occurs outside of man's natural view, unleashing very visible and transformational consequences in the process.

Through GA and SC on the road back to NY

It is interesting to consider that, shortly after Sherman graduated from New York's West Point in 1840, he was sent by the Army to be stationed in Georgia and South Carolina, almost a quarter century before he would scorch through those very states with his green army. After his time in the South, he was sent to perform administrative duties in the newly conquered California territory whilst the Mexican-American War took place; to arrive in California, he embarked from New York on a trip around Cape Horn that took 198 days. According to wikipedia.org, the ship stopped in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, allowing Sherman to take a hike along with his army mates to the top of Corcovado, the hill where the giant statue of "Christ the Redeemer" would stand some 80 years later.

Interestingly enough, Sherman arrived in Yerba Buena, California 2 days before its name was changed to San Francisco. In 1848, he accompanied the military governor of California on the inspection that officially confirmed that gold had been discovered in the San Francisco area, thereby inaugurating the California Gold Rush. Saddened over not being called to combat duty during the Mexican-American War, Sherman resigned his captaincy in 1853 and retreated into civilian life. During this period, he worked in San Francisco for a season and was then forced to move to New York, only to be forced back to California for another short season. He then lived and worked in several places, including Leavenworth, Kansas and Baton Rouge, Louisiana (leading the institution that eventually became LSU). As the Southern states began to secede, he returned to the North and was eventually called back into the army by Lincoln. Before returning North, however, Sherman gave Southerners this eerie accurate prophetic warning:

"You people of the South don't know what you are doing. This country will be drenched in blood, and God only knows how it will end. It is all folly, madness, a crime against civilization! You people speak so lightly of war; you don't know what you're talking about. War is a terrible thing! You mistake, too, the people of the North. They are a peaceable people but an earnest people, and they will fight, too. They are not going to let this country be destroyed without a mighty effort to save it... Besides, where are your men and appliances of war to contend against them? The North can make a steam engine, locomotive, or railway car; hardly a yard of cloth or pair of shoes can you make. You are rushing into war with one of the most powerful, ingeniously mechanical, and determined people on Earth—right at your doors. You are bound to fail. Only in your spirit and determination are you prepared for war. In all else you are totally unprepared, with a bad cause to start with. At first you will make headway, but as your limited resources begin to fail, shut out from the markets of Europe as you will be, your cause will begin to wane. If your people will but stop and think, they must see in the end that you will surely fail."

Exchange between Sherman and David Boyd on December 24, 1860, 109 days before the official start of the Civil War (copied from wikipedia.org)

Sherman eventually stepped down from army service on February 8, 1884, on his 64th birthday. He then spent most of his remaining time on Earth in New York City, eventually dying there on February 14, 1891. Therefore, the journey that Sherman began at West Point, New York eventually ended back in New York City over 50 years later. In a sense, we can say that this journey depicts the 7 seals of the Apocalypse:

  1. Sherman's emergence from West Point correlates with the white-horse epiphany in which the believer becomes aware that he or she is a New-Covenant priest. As a Melchizedek priest, the believer takes on the character of a spiritual warrior, going out conquering and to conquer.

  2. Sherman's Southern incursion into Georgia and South Carolina in the early 1840s correlates with the red-horse stage in which the believer, equipped with his or her new awareness as a priest and warrior, goes into the tents of Cain to "stir the waters" and challenge the traditions and laws espoused by Cain. As we have shared before, the American South has remained a land littered with the legalistic and intransigent spirit of Cain.

  3. Sherman's long trek west to California correlates with the "western escapade" that black-horse riders embark on as they sever themselves from the coverings of Cain. As they "wander" in the black-horse desert, God's black-horse riders grow spiritually prosperous (in apostolic wisdom and prophetic grace), even if they seem to become poorer in the natural. This is the reason why Sherman arrived just in time to help inaugurate the California Gold Rush, which represented an influx of prosperity for California. This is also the reason why both the San Francisco and the New York banks that Sherman worked in ended up failing, and this is also the reason why the legal career that Sherman tried to forge in Kansas did not prosper much, all despite his clear intelligence, leadership abilities, and work ethic.

  4. Sherman's entry into Civil War combat correlates with the uncompromising Death-and-Sheol mission that believers embark on during the green-horse stage. Unshakingly convinced that the Union should be preserved and that Southern pride should be crushed, Sherman heeded God's Trumpet Call to rise up like an army, but not just any army; instead, it was to be an army operating in fractal ways that defied traditional military methodology. Lincoln and the semi-inept military leadership of the North struggled for several years without understanding this. Trying to reach a quick settlement that would return things to the previous status quo, they refused to deal with the subjective roots that had caused the problem to begin with. It was only until Lincoln finally "got it" and declared the Emancipation Proclamation that the seeds of true victory were finally sown. When Lincoln later removed the inept and treacherous McClellan and replaced him with Grant, the seeds of victory began to germinate and grow. Though not "green" himself, Grant finally unshackled Sherman, allowing him to freely operate with green-horse tactics. That was when the War became a "done deal" and victory was just a matter of time.

As we have shared before, green-horse riders know that truth is objective, but they also know that it must become "subjective" in those who claim to be living by it; therefore, they also know that, when truth is constantly rejected, you cannot simply restate the truth in a cold and impersonal way in the hopes that those in error will some day wake up and magically realise how wrong they were. They know that, in such cases, you must deal with the deep, subjective roots. You must expose them, you must attack them, controversial as they may seem, and you must use "fractally creative" strategies to wipe them out, even if that entails the use of unusual ruthlessness, righteous mocking, and penetrating "psychological" attacks on others' souls that are founded on deep truth.

  5. The Civil War period prior to Grant's takeover as the leader of the Northern army correlates with the 5th-seal period during which green-horse riders remain in hibernation, in a relative state of "impotence" and "helplessness", utterly dependent on others to enable them (just as green-horse Joseph "helplessly" lingered in prison for 13 years, waiting for someone to enable the manifestation of his calling. During the long pre-Grant period, Sherman watched in frustration as Lincoln and the Northern army leaders continued to botch the war despite the North's clear moral and military superiority.

  6. Sherman's march through the heart of the South correlates with the 6th seal of the Apocalypse during which the vindicating vengeance of God is subjectively unleashed on the recalcitrant, matriarchal soul. This merciless vengeance is unleashed through the "green" army described by the Spirit in the books of Joel and Jude.

  7. Sherman's life after the Civil War and military service correlates with the 7th seal of the Apocalypse (Revelation 8:1). During this final seal, the "lunar" voice of the "female" soul is silenced for a period, allowing the "solar" voice of the "male" Spirit to be heard with clarity across the atmosphere of the Earth. That is when the "intermediary" light of the Old Covenant moon is replaced by the clear and direct light of the Radiant New Covenant Sun. Therefore, it is prophetically fitting that Sherman ended his time on Earth in New York, for that shall be the place from which the latter-rain Glory of God shall shine across America and out into the entire Earth.

Notice how Georgia and South Carolina appear in Sherman's path twice, once during his red-horse stage, and again during his 6th-seal phase. As we have shared in these recent postings, Georgia and South Carolina represent stagnation in the black-horse stage, with Georgia pointing to grace-based, oasis-centred isolation and South Carolina pointing to law-based, monastery-centred isolation. Whereas Georgia represents a dogged determination to cross the Jordan whilst remaining "black", South Carolina represents a naive conviction that you can bring about the Kingdom by regressing to "red" (horse) techniques. Both, therefore, represent deceptions raised by the enemy to prevent God's people going "green" and truly crossing the Jordan. These 2 types of deception are geared towards people who have successfully gone past the red-horse stage and have ventured into black-horse territory, which correlates with the fact that Georgia and South Carolina appear in Sherman's red-horse stage and later reappear as "recalcitrant black" during his 6th-seal stage (the black horse is the "horse of independence", and both Georgia and South Carolina were stubbornly determined to remain unrighteously independent from the North, hence their "recalcitrant blackness"). All of this is why God sent His green Sherman army against both Georgia and South Carolina to raze them and avenge their "black" hindrance of His "green" purposes.

Having experienced an unquestionably "green" lesson during the Civil War, however, both Georgia and South Carolina quickly reverted to spiritual "blackness". Instead of acting as sources of spiritual "greenness" for future generations, both states decided to reject God's "green" lesson, resenting God for having put them through it. This is the reason why the Lord chose to feature both of these states during the outbreak of the flesh-eating bacteria in May 2012. As we have briefly shared before, the Lord inaugurated a 7-year "incubation" period on May 14, 1998, on the 50th (or "Jubilee") anniversary of Israel's resurrection as a nation. In May 2005, at the end of that incubation period, the Lord inaugurated a second 7-year period during which America and the Church in general were to prepare to receive the remnant, harbour them in their midst, and set the stage for the outbreak of God's latter-rain Glory starting around May 2012, when Israel was to reach its 64th (8 times 8) birthday. All of this, however, was callously disregarded by America, with Georgia and South Carolina playing crucial spiritual roles in this "disregarding" of God. Therefore, as judgement for vomiting back the "green" seeds that God had forced them to swallow, He punished both Georgia and South Carolina, exposing them to international embarrassment around the appointed time (May 2012) of the "green" manifestation that they refused to enable. Thus, instead of participating in the sudden outbreak of God's "green-horse" glory, they were forced to endure the sudden outbreak of a mysterious and destructive disease.

The impartation of green sight

As indicated on wikipedia.org, Sherman's military campaigns of 1864 and 1865 freed thousands upon thousands of slaves along his army's path. Many of these freed slaves received Sherman as a "second Moses", following his army (as civilians) as it marched across Georgia and the Carolinas. This correlates with the following passage:

"30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David. 31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David. 32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? 33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened. 34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him" (Matthew 20:30-34)

As we have studied before, the passage above points to the enabling of God's poor remnant, providing them with the resources that they need to fulfil God's purposes. As we also shared before, the 2 blind men were strongly imbued with both a prophetic and an apostolic anointing as they cried out to the Lord for redemption. Since black-horse riders are inherently "apostolic-prophetic", we can conclude that the passage above is also intended by the Holy Spirit to speak of the redemption of believers trapped in "black-horse" circumstances and who are not being allowed to publicly manifest spiritual "greenness".

The phrase "received sight" in verse 34 above was translated from the Greek verb anablepo, which is derived from the verb blepo. As can be seen from many of the verses where it is used, blepo has a strong connotation of "watchman observation":

"And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you" (Mark 13:5)

[The phrase "Take heed" was translated from blepo]

"Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. " (Mark 13:33)

[The phrase "Take ye heed" was translated from blepo]

"That thou appear not unto men to fast , but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly." (Matthew 6:18)

[The word "seeth" in the phrase "seeth in secret" was translated from blepo. Notice how this correlates with the notion of "watchman observation" since watchmen are always interested in detecting movements in the dark that are happening outside the range of normal view. This explains why green-horse riders, who are "watchmen" by nature, are so prone to discerning the subjective intentions of others, a quality that black-horse American conservatives so idiotically dismiss when dealing with bastards such as babi obama and its congress of liberal baboons.]

"And he charged them, saying , Take heed , beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod." (Mark 8:15)

[The phrase "Take heed" was translated from blepo]

"Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision." (Philippians 3:2)

[The 3 words "beware" in this verse were all translated from blepo. Based on what we have studied before, we can immediately infer that the "dogs" here clearly point to Canaanites. On the other hand, the phrase "evil workers" was mistranslated from the Greek word ergates, which only means "labourer, worker"; therefore, it points to people who obsess with tangible "work", even if that work is not necessarily "evil" in the literal sense of the word. Hence, the "workers" clearly point to Girgashites, since, as we have studied before, Girgashites are workaholics by nature. Thus, we can say that the Spirit is warning us to watch out for Canaanites and Girgashites, which, as we have seen before, are pastors and teachers gone bad. Given that these are the 2 "female" ministries, we can then say that we must act like watchmen who are constantly detecting any trace of matriarchal soul behaviour so as to not be fooled by it.

The word "concision" was translated from the (feminine) Greek noun katatome, which is only used once in the New Testament and literally means "mutilation, cut"; katatome is derived from the Greek prefix kata, meaning "throughout, according to", and the verb temno meaning "to cut". Therefore, it has the connotation of a "comprehensive cut" or a "cut performed according to a certain pattern". From this, it becomes evident that the "concision" that the Spirit is referring to is the cut-off or separation that happens between the soul and the Spirit of God when the believer goes back to the paradigms of the Old Covenant, which, as we have shared before, emphasise the need for "intermediary ministers". Hence, we can safely conclude that, when we yield to matriarchal pastors ("Canaanite dogs") and matriarchal teachers ("Girgashite workers"), we step away from the New Covenant and surrender to the Old Covenant, which leads to us being cut off from direct communion with and impartation from God Himself.]

"Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 18:10)

[The word "behold" in the phrase "behold the face of my Father" was translated from blepo. Therefore, we can infer that the "little ones" are constantly observing the Father's Face, like a watchman trying to detect any motion in His expression. They are the first to realise that something has made the Father smile; they are the first to realise that something has made the Father scowl; they are the first to realise that something has caused the Father concern. Because of their constant blepo-ing of the Father's Face, they begin to learn His Nature (i.e.- to know Him), and, as they do, His Nature is "radiated" and absorbed into their being. Therefore, they soon start smiling at what makes the Father smile, they start scowling at what makes the Father scowl, and they become concerned by the same things that cause the Father concern.]

As we have shared before, green-horse riders are God's spiritual "watchmen". Therefore, it becomes obvious from all of the above verses that the Greek word blepo is intimately linked to the green horse. This connection is emphasised in the following verse:

"But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man." (Hebrews 2:9)

The word "see" above was translated from the word blepo; thus, the beginning of this verse could have been translated as "But we observe Jesus". Notice, therefore, how blepo-ing or "observing" Jesus like a watchman will lead to us seeing Him going through Death, and then emerging from Sheol (Ephesians 4:8-10) crowned with glory and honour. Therefore, we can safely say that to blepo Yeshua is to watch Him go through His green-horse Death-and-Sheol experience.

Based on all of the above, we can say that the 2 blind men of Matthew 20:30-34 (quoted above) were "greenified" the moment they "blepo-ed" (i.e. "received their "sight"). This means that they went from a black-horse, apostolic-prophetic walk into a green-horse walk. This is also why they immediately chose to "follow" Yeshua after blepo-ing, since to truly follow Him means to follow Him through Death and Sheol:

"And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. " (Mark 8:34)

"18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. 19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me." (John 21:18-19)

"For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps" (1 Peter 2:21)

[Notice that, Peter, the literal recipient of the words in John 21:18-19 above, did not say, "Because Christ also suffered for us, we do not need to suffer anymore and should simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the blessings that He already paid for us through His sufferings". The matriarchal pastors of today would have shoved Peter off the pulpit if they had heard him speak the words of 1 Peter 2:21, especially if they were not aware of his "credentials" as "apostle of the Lord" (in which case, they would politely let Peter finish, thank the "apostle" for his sermon, and never invite him again). To the fools who may read the verses that follow 1 Peter 2:21 and may try to claim that we have taken the "apostle" out of context, consider what the "apostle" also said in 1 Peter 3:14-17 and in 1 Peter 4:16-19. As much as today's matriarchal pastors may want to sweep it under the carpet, the truth is the truth, and no believer is truly following Yeshua to the end (Revelation 14:4) unless he or she follows Him to Golgotha and beyond.]

When you begin to "blepo" in the Spirit and start galloping as a green-horse rider, you begin to see things that are completely hidden to the natural man, and you begin to operate in an eternal language that is completely incomprehensible to most people, even believers who are supposedly "mature":

"17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)

[The phrases "the things" that appear right before each of the words "seen" in verse 18 are not present in the original Greek text. Therefore, a more correct translation would read, "While we look not on the observed, but at the unobserved, for the observed are temporal, but the unobserved are eternal".]

The 4 words "seen" in verse 18 above were all translated from the Greek verb blepo. Notice, therefore, that this passage is declaring that the temporal is "blepo-ed" but the eternal is not. A Girgashite reader may then leap and say, "Aha!! Then it must be useless to blepo since you cannot blepo the eternal!!". Such a simplistic interpretation, however, would imply that Yeshua is "temporal", since Hebrews 2:9 (quoted above) clearly states that we see (i.e.- blepo) Yeshua, whilst clearly referring to the spiritual Yeshua and not the historical figure (otherwise, the word "see" in Hebrews 2:9 would be in past tense). Hence, we can conclude that 2 Corinthians 4:18 is clearly referring to the eternal not being "blepo-able" by the natural man. In other words, the Lord is declaring that there is an immutable light barrier that separates the natural man from the eternal realm, preventing him observing (i.e.- blepo-ing) things in the eternal realm. You must therefore operate in the "new man", the spiritual man that God has created in us (Ephesians 4:24) to begin blepo-ing eternal things, and we become full-blown watchmen (i.e.- "blepo-ers") only as we are willing to suffer through green-horse Death and Sheol (as evidenced by the preceding verse 17 above). Thus, a green-horse rider becomes a "watcher" or "observer" of eternal things that others around him or her are unable to discern, and, as such, the green-horse rider begins speaking an eternal language that sounds like "gibberish" to the people around him or her. These speakers of "gibberish", however, are the ones who act as the gateway between the eternal realm and the natural realm, enabling the inflooding of God's eternal glory into the natural realm. In a sense, they are the "interpreters" who bring the eternal language of the Spirit into the natural realm.

Propelling the black into green

Now that we have clearly established that the 2 blind men who "received their sight and followed Yeshua" (Matthew 20:34) were transitioning from a black-horse stage into a green-horse walk, we can proceed to the following passage and see how it is related to the crowds of freed slaves following Sherman's army:

"15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17)

The word "alive" in verse 17 was translated from the Greek word zao, which is derived from the word zoe meaning "life". There are 2 Greek words for "life", bios and zoe. As explained at blueletterbible.org, the word zoe is used in Scripture to denote the essence of life itself, whereas bios is used to denote the course and details of biological existence. This is why the word bios is more directly related to the teacher endowment in a positive sense and to the Girgashite spirit in a negative sense. By contrast, the word zoe is more directly related to the prophetic endowment of "overflowing life". This is why it is no coincidence that the most prophetic Gospel, the Eagle-Face Gospel of John, is the one that mentions the word zoe the most, a total of 32 times, almost twice as much as the 3 other Gospels combined (Matthew mentions zoe 7 times, Mark 4 times, and Luke 6 times, for a total of 17 appearances outside of John). The connection between zoe and the prophetic endowment is emphasised in the following verses:

"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:14)

[The word "life" was translated from zoe. Notice, therefore, how zoe is mentioned in the context of flowing waters, which, as we have said before, points to the prophetic endowment.]

"Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." (John 5:39)

[The word "life" was translated from zoe. Notice, therefore, how zoe is mentioned in the context of "testifying" or "witnessing", and, as we have shared before, the notion of "witness" is strongly related to the prophetic calling.]

"He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal." (John 12:25)

[The first 2 words "life" in this verse (in "he that loveth his life" and "he that hateth his life" were mistranslated from the Greek word psyche, which literally means "soul". Hence, a more correct translation would read, "He that loves his soul shall lose it; and he that hates his soul in this world shall keep it unto eternal life". This speaks of people who are willing to relegate the soul to a secondary plane, submitting under the Lordship of the spirit.

The 3rd word "life" (in "life eternal") was translated from zoe. Notice, therefore, how the Spirit uses zoe in the context of sacrifice, which points to the prophetic endowment.]

"10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you." (2 Corinthians 4:10-12)

[The word "life" in each of the 3 verses above was translated from zoe. Notice, therefore, how the Spirit uses zoe in the context of someone making sacrifices for the sake of others, which again points to the prophetic endowment.]

"Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered." (1 Peter 3:7)

[The word "life" in the phrase "grace of life" was translated from zoe. Notice, therefore, how the Spirit associates zoe with grace, and, as we have shared before, the ministry most directly related to spiritual grace is the prophetic ministry.]

"According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue" (2 Peter 1:3)

[The word "life" was translated from zoe. Notice, therefore, how the Spirit uses zoe in the context of our spiritual calling, and, as we have shared before, the ministry most directly related to awakening the individual and collective awareness of our "calling" is the prophetic ministry.]

"We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death." (1 John 3:14)

[The word "life" was translated from zoe. Notice, therefore, how the Spirit associates zoe with love. As we have shared before, love is intimately linked to sacrifice (as shown by 1 Corinthians 13), and sacrifice is itself intimately linked to the prophetic anointing.]

"Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life" (Jude 1:21)

[The word "life" was translated from zoe. Notice how the Spirit associates zoe with love once again, which, as we said above, points once more to the prophetic anointing.]

"Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer : behold , the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried ; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life" (Revelation 2:10)

[The word "life" was translated from zoe. Notice how the Spirit once again associates zoe with wilful sacrificial death, which, as we said above, points once again to the prophetic anointing.]

"And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb" (Revelation 22:1)

[The word "life" was translated from zoe. Notice how the Spirit once again associates zoe with flowing waters, which, as we said above, points once again to the prophetic anointing.]

Based on all of the above, we can safely conclude that the word "alive" in the phrase "alive and remaining" of 1 Thessalonians 4:17 refers to those abounding in prophetic life. What does the word "remaining" refer to, then? The word "remaining" in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 was translated from the Greek verb perileipomai, which, interestingly enough, is only used twice in the New Testament, both times occurring in the passage of 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 quoted above. The verb perileipomai is derived from the Greek prefix peri meaning "around" and the verb leipo meaning "to leave, leave behind, forsake" or, in a secondary sense, "to be wanting, lacking". Oddly enough, all 6 times that leipo appears in the New Testament, it is used in the second sense (of "lack"). Therefore, leipo has the connotation of scarcity, i.e.- of someone enduring through a desert; and, when it is combined with the prefix peri, it has the connotation of someone who has "survived" or is still "hanging around" after a fiery process. Thus, we can safely say that the word perileipomai points to the apostolic ministry, given that it is the ministry most directly related to resilient endurance through long, drawn-out deserts and fiery trials.

Hence, we can safely say that the phrase "alive and remaining" in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 speaks of people under a strong impartation of the prophetic and apostolic endowments. This immediately points to the black horse of the Apocalypse, since, as we have shared before, black-horse riders are apostle-prophets. The linkage to the black horse is strengthened by the fact that the black horse is a horse that brings scarcity in the natural, which correlates with the word leipo mentioned above. As we have also shared before, black-horse riders become spiritually prosperous even as they become increasingly "poor" in the natural, which correlates with the word zao and the notion of someone full of "life" despite the "leipo" hardships around him or her. The fact that the Holy Spirit mentions the prophetic word zao before the apostolic word perileipomai means that the phrase "alive and remaining" refers to believers in the latter parts of the black-horse stage, i.e.- believers who, after a long, predominantly-apostolic black-horse desert, are transitioning towards a predominantly prophetic walk, in preparation for the next stage, the prophetic-pastoral green-horse stage.

Violent green propulsion

Now that we have established what the phrase "alive and remaining" is truly referring to, the rest of 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 becomes easier to comprehend. Given that green-horse riders are the ones who go through "Death and Sheol", it is evident that the phrase "dead in Christ" in verse 16 refers to full-blown green-horse riders. Therefore, the Lord is declaring that, once green-horse riders are allowed to be manifested and take over the "air" (v17), i.e.- the spiritual atmosphere of the Earth, an accelerated growth process will happen to those in the latter parts of the black-horse stage. They will be "pulled up" into the green-horse stage and go through a quick Death and Sheol experience without having to go through the long, drawn-out experience that the green-horse riders who preceded them had to go through. After this "accelerated" Death and Sheol experience, their potential will be fully manifested in the "air", and they will share in the Dominion of the Earth's spiritual atmosphere in the Lord. This acceleration will happen due to the spiritual consequences that will ensue from the green-horse riders taking over the spiritual atmosphere of the Earth. As God's Lordship is established in the "air", it will hover over the souls on Earth like an umbrella, exerting the strength of God's Dominion over the souls of men. The pliable souls who have made it to the latter parts of the black-horse stage will then be worked over and moulded into the green-horse stage in an accelerated way. This is why the Spirit uses the Greek verb harpazo when speaking of the "alive and remaining" being "caught up" in the air to be with the Lord, for harpazo is the same word used by the Lord in the following passage, where it is translated as "to take by force":

"And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force." (Matthew 11:12)

The word "violent" above was (for once) correctly translated from the Greek word biastes, and, despite the efforts of some translations to "soften up" the word by inserting a "kindler and gentler" translation, biastes does indeed denote the concept of forcible violence. Interestingly enough, biastes is derived from the word bios mentioned above, meaning that it is strongly linked to actions carried out within the context of earthly, biological existence. This means that, contrary to the belief of the cross-armed Church, the Kingdom of God is not brought about by God's actions alone. God never called us to simply wait for Him to straighten out this evil world for us, so that we may then sit back and "enjoy" His "brave new world". On the contrary, the connection between biastes and bios means that the Kingdom of God is forged through the course of human actions. Even when these actions may have invisible ramifications in the spirit realm, they must somehow be initiated in the natural realm through the deliberate decisions of beings inhabiting the "biological" realm. In a sense, we can say that the word biastes correlates with how a seed buried deep beneath the ground germinates and begins to force its way upwards until it reaches the surface. It is amazing how the seed, weak and insignificant as it may seem, is capable of pushing its way up through the soil, even when the soil is hard and tightly compacted. As shown by some of the pictures posted on photographyblogger.net, "fragile" plants are notorious for bursting through concrete, and it is well known how tree roots can easily crack and raise mounds in hard pavements, all through the exercise of sheer biological force. In the same way, we are called to be as seeds that germinate in faith and fight through the smothering limitations of earthliness in order to manifest the Kingdom of God on Earth.

In conclusion, we can say that, once God's green-horse riders are finally enabled and they take control of the Earth's spiritual atmosphere in the Lord, God's Dominion will "forcibly" mould the souls of those in the latter parts of the black-horse stage and accelerate their spiritual progress through Death and Sheol and into the fullness of their calling, all without them going through the same prolonged heartache that their predecessors went through. Even though this may seem "unfair" to the natural soul, the green-horse soul actually rejoices in such a thing, for such a soul is more than glad to sacrifice itself so as to enable the righteous manifestation of its brethren. The green-horse soul does not mind that other labourers receive 1 denarius for 1 hour of work, even when they had to work 12 hours to receive the same amount. The reason for this is that such souls have their hearts set on the larger reward, God Himself, and, as you become Ehad (i.e.- One) with the Eternal God, your selflessness grows and the relevance of temporal measures diminishes into nothingness. This selfless "harpazo-ing" in biastes "violence" of others from "blackness" into "greenness" is what happened to the 2 blind men of Matthew 20:30-34, and it is what happened to the freed black slaves who were violently harpazo-ed into freedom and who then followed Sherman's selfless army along their "green" path across the heart of the South.

"We looked upon General Sherman, prior to his arrival, as a man, in the providence of God, specially set apart to accomplish this work, and we unanimously felt inexpressible gratitude to him, looking upon him as a man that should be honored for the faithful performance of his duty. Some of us called upon him immediately upon his arrival, and it is probable he did not meet [Secretary Stanton] with more courtesy than he met us. His conduct and deportment toward us characterized him as a friend and a gentleman."

Garrison Frazier, a black Baptist minister, in response to an inquiry on the feelings of the black community towards Sherman's army (copied from wikipedia.org)

"My aim then was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. 'Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.' I did not want them to cast in our teeth what General Hood had once done at Atlanta, that we had to call on their slaves to help us to subdue them. But, as regards kindness to the race ..., I assert that no army ever did more for that race than the one I commanded at Savannah"

William T. Sherman , Memoirs of General W.T. Sherman, Chapter 22 (copied from wikipedia.org)

Green "forest" vision

Many began to criticise Sherman for not making more of an effort to look after the wellbeing of the myriads of liberated black men and women following his army as he marched across the South. Sherman, however, was more focused on crushing the South's rebellion and saving the Union than on doing "social work" for these freed men and women. Unlike matriarchal pastors that become obsessed with "soothing pain" and "fulfilling needs", prophet-pastor Sherman understood that it was more important to fulfil the vengeance that God had sown within his soul, knowing also that a trampling of the South would ensure the freedom of all slaves, which was a far more beneficial outcome for all black people than the temporal wellbeing of the particular group of blacks following his army. This correlates with the spiritual nature of the green-horse rider, who is always more focused on the fulfilment of a comprehensive prophetic vision than on fulfilling the limited, pastoral needs of a few. Fulfilling the comprehensive vision is like cutting off a brain tumour; fulfilling the temporal needs of a few is like supplying aspirins for the headaches the tumour is causing. This is a "green" reality that most believers involved in "charitable" work would be well served to learn and live by.

The above does not mean that it is wrong for a green-horse rider to care for the needs of a few. After all, green-horse riders are prophet-pastors, meaning that they have a strong sense of pastoral love towards their brethren. Even so, their primary endowment during their green-horse phase is the prophetic, not the pastoral, for which reason they keep any pastoral operations subservient to the uncompromising prophetic vision, a vision genuinely centred on a sacrificial love for the brethren that goes way beyond the soulish realm.

All of the above explains why Sherman remained prophetically committed to completing God's vengeance on the Deep South, even when he was concerned enough about the liberated men and women following him so as to meet with 20 black leaders in Savannah, Georgia on January 12, 1865 to hear their thoughts. As indicated on wikipedia.org, he issued his "Special Field Orders No. 15" four days later, on 16 January, 1865. These orders provided for the settlement of 4 myriads (40,000) of black refugees on land expropriated from white landowners in South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Sherman appointed an abolitionist from Massachusetts, Brigadier General Rufus Saxton, to implement the orders (according to wikipedia.org, Rufus Saxton had been appointed military governor of the Department of the South, and, as such, he directed the recruitment of the first regimens of black soldiers who fought in the Union army). Unfortunately, Sherman's orders were revoked in the fall of that same year (1865) by president Andrew Johnson, one of the 3 worst presidents in American history and a perennial, shameful stain on America's past of endless compromise.

As a parenthesis, it is worth mentioning that Andrew Johnson is a clear example of how Lincoln was not as great a president as most make him out to be. Andrew Johnson, whom Lincoln picked as his vice presidential running mate in 1864, is one of the spiritual proofs of how Lincoln's assassination was actually a product of his own foolish doing. Thus, Lincoln is one more example of how America's avant garde people have shown an uncanny ability throughout history to disappoint God in a big way by stubbornly clinging to indefensible beliefs, even when given an easy and ample door of opportunity to move away from them.

[Fellow believer, if you still consider the above words on Lincoln "outrageous", consider this article posted at independent.co.uk. Also consider the following article posted at osu.edu, with special attention on the paragraph containing the word "sittings".]

There is more to say regarding this word, but we will do so in a future posting, God willing...
